Josh is an amazing artist. He can take concepts to designs quickly and accuratley and the finished tattoos are top notch. Josh is a professional as well and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. This place has awesome vibes, I highly recommend going here for your ink.

My wife and I were visiting Kentucky for a couple of days a decided to get some tattoos last minute. Very happy they were able to get us in! Josh did an amazing job! Just wish I was local so I could keep going back 😂

I came into the shop to see Josh about a cover up. The first thing that impressed me was how fast he got back to me about setting up my appointment. At the time I only had an idea in my head with no direction on how it was going to get done. Josh took that idea and added his professionalism and time to it and now I have a piece that I am proud of. It ended up taking 3 sessions to finish my cover up. 2 of the sessions were pretty long, one being over 6 hours in the chair. Josh is very likeable and easy to talk to; which also made the long sessions a breeze to get through. The dude is light handed AF! He went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable the whole time and even provided me with a pillow when I had to lay on my side. His shop was very clean and his office had my eyes wondering all over the place with all the different cool collectibles and autographs he has accumulated over the years. I highly recommend Modern Age Tattoo Company and Josh Mason!

Modern Age Tattoo is a great veteran owned and operated tattoo shop. The owner genuinely cares about his work and is very detail oriented. He excels at smaller tattoos and portraits, where getting the details right can make the difference in how great your artwork turns out. My Tattoo artist was Josh and he was by far the best Tattoo artist that I have had. He was able to take a design I had and turn it in to an absolutely awesome Tattoo. He was on time and super reliable, it was a journey to work with him Im such a short time to get my absolutely killer Tattoo. John took what I said and incorporated it into the tattoo I really wanted. He took his time, and the color work is so vibrant and majestic. This shop is amazing. The details and the shading is exceptional. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone.

I had this done in memories of my son, mom and dad. It was great, however Ive n been back fire the third time to put white back to highlight. I made an appointment for this to be freshened up.. I arrived 15 minutes late and agreed to wait 30 or 40 minutes to get this done. After 1 hour, I asked if they forgot I was waiting, their reply was that I was late, no apology or anyone having courtesy to let me know he was running late and asked me if I wanted to wait another 15 minutes, I left as they were not very customer friendly. I was going to have some more added now I will go somewhere else who wants the business

I want to give my deepest thanks to Joshua mason for helping me start this new chapter of my life. I told him what I wanted to get done on my arm. I used to be a cutter and after 4 other consultations, I was told I either couldnt have it done or needed to choose something else that would cover my horrible scars better. During the actual consultation Josh actually talked me back into it and for this I am forever grateful. The worst time of my life is covered by one of the things that I dearly adored. I still have to get the color added to it in two weeks but you really cant tell that its a cover up. Again, I am eternally grateful for this new start with your help. Just letting you know, I have not stopped the tears of joy since we finished.

Awesome. Had some great work done here for my first tattoo. Man, was I shocked. Josh did my work and completed it flawlessly. For a decent sized tattoo that had an incredible amount of detail in it, he had it done in a timely manner. Was very comfortable around him because he made great conversation, was nice, and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. He also has a very light hand and an advanced tattoo gun that made the tattoo more relaxing than anything else. You can also vape inside the place and use your phone while he does his work, and he allowed all three of my friends in the room while he worked which was legit. He also let us play music on the computer which made it way more comfortable and exciting. Shop is extremely clean as well as the tattoo rooms. Would definitely recommend to a friend, especially since I was the one who was recommended here!

I went to Modern age with my daughter. We got matching tats and Josh was very patient with her as it was her first tattoo. She is picky and after completing mine she asked him to fill in a couple spots that she decided on the fly werent quite perfect yet on hers. He set up from scratch again and added until she was happy. His work was outstanding as was his professionalism. As a business owner myself, I appreciate someone who goes that extra mile to make his clients happy.

First professional tattoo and it couldn’t have been better! He doesn’t just do tattoos he’s a genuine artist who cares about the work he does. The atmosphere was smooth and had an amazing conversation.

Got my first tattoo here and it was half of my back, done by Josh. I have gone here for a few years now and had great work done every time. Great atmosphere, great conversation, and great tattoos. And to the person with a 1 star review for the Photoshop college, my Bowie tattoo was the same way and it looks fantastic, so you can shove it. If you dont appreciate the good work, then go get something crappy done at Big Daddys.

After giving him an idea about what I was wanting, Chad gave me some ideas and helped me create exactly what I wanted. He did an amazing job and I will definitely be returning to him for my next piece. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming and there is literally art everywhere, making a creative environment.

My son got his third tattoo yesterday for his 19th birthday. They did a fabulous job it turned out really good. They are very professional and everyone was really nice. The art work was amazing. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a quality tattoo

Phenomenal. I never knew there was a difference between a tattoo artist and someone who just happens to do tattoos. The difference is the ability to draw and take artistic liberties. This man knows his craft and did an excellent job.
