Can’t say enough great things about my experience. Josh is incredibly talented and makes the whole process fun. I came in with a few jumbled ideas and leaned on Josh for his creativity. What he came back with absolutely exceeded my expectations and then the execution blew my mind. The amount of detail he was able to add in a 3-hour period is simply amazing. I’ll never go anywhere else for tattoos from here on out. The whole crew at Subjective Art is great - no wonder people just like hanging around the shop. Thanks again for some work I’m truly proud to show off.

Jason was great! Got my 3rd and biggest tattoo and he went above and beyond for my piece. Very talented artist who listened to my ideas but also helped out by putting his on twist into my design. Great shop. Fun people.

I have been going to Subjective Art Tattoo for a few months now. I have booked all day appointments and have been very pleased with the art work, time management and also the price is very reasonable for the great tattoos. I wanted a sleeve based around 16 separate ideas - I gave Josh the different parts and he designed each idea and put them together to create the sleeve I wanted. I also had 2 other small pieces done during the same time frame.The staff are great and make you feel welcome.I would highly recommend Subjective Art Tattoo for your next tattoo. I know myself and my wife will be back.Bring the staff your ideas and they will create a great tattoo!

I got a tattoo from Jason (225$). It felt like he was rushing the whole thing, he cut the appointment short and left me with what feels like an unfinished tattoo. I gave him a reference photo (I posted it below) and he used it for a stencil, but decided to free hand some of the craters (without asking) which I felt was disrespectful. The whole thing is blown out, making it look like it was done with a marker. the whole outside circle has missing spots.

Great service & awesome designs! Josh is great at his craft and I will definitely be going back for future ink therapy!

I’ve had two tattoos done by Jason and I’ll definitely be back. I just brought my daughter in for her first tattoo and Jason made her feel comfortable.

I have multiple tattoos by Randy and have been going to him since he was an apprentice. I get compliments on my chest piece every time I go out and it’s visible! I have multiple styles done by him, and he has blown it out of the water with every random idea I’ve thrown at him! The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and gives input and opinions if you want, and personally I could not recommend Randy any higher, I could not ask for a better experience at Subjective and will continue to go there for every one of my future pieces, my only complaint is that I didn’t find Randy and the rest of the team sooner!

Also overhead they give out beverages in the summer time while clients wait in the lobby.On my visit I was aware of the studios four departments.Tattooing , Peircing, Therapy & Cosmetics.I brought my Aunt in via Walk-in confirmed via Facebook messenger. Handy and convenient and fast response.Ramiro was the artist to give my Aunt her first tattoo in almost 20 years. He was very, very* sociable, which is very good aspect in a artist in able to quickly connect and commence in conversation to induce a calming effect prior to tattooing. He did epic detailed pieces on my ex back in the day, and he did a phenomenal job on my moms cross when she died. I went and got my first professional tattoo done by Randy! He was extremely gentle, great to interact with and just overall a great guy, the shop is a clean place and i highly recommend that Subjective art tattoo is the place to go, Id like to mention that their prices are great as well!

Ive been here a couple times, my first experience wasnt pleasant (with a different piercer than Jon), but I tried again, and every other experience has been absolutely amazing! Ive gotten all my piercings done with Jon, and he is the best. The jewelry is very nice and high-quality, completely worth the price. I cant praise or recommend this place enough! His apprentice Ali is super nice as well, and really talented.

This was my third tattoo at subjective art (second tattoo done by Josh) and my expectations are exceeded every time!!

I went just over a year ago to get this piece done. The tattoo is very personal for me and I was thinking it over for weeks. Josh went above and beyond and improved on my design that I gave him, and played music from my favorite band while he did my ink. On top of that he gave me really solid advice on aftercare and it healed really well (it still looks fresh to this day). To this day I get compliments about the line work and the colors all the time! This is absolutely my favorite shop and will go back once I have more mula.

I got my first professional piercing done here over a year ago with Jon and had such an amazing experience that I have gone back 3 times since then to get more! I’ve been taken care of by Jon, Ali, and Justin and they’re all so wonderful and caring for their clients. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for any sort of tattoo or piercing. It’s obvious that the entire staff team cares for each client so well and will answer any questions you have about the work you’re looking to have done.

I’ve been pierced and tattooed here multiple times by different artists as well and all are amazing and wonderful jobs the people are the most friendliest and nicest you can find. Great crew very nice people working. They were very supportive of my daughter getting piercings done. Clean equipment & piercing area. One thing I noticed & was extremely happy about. When our artist explained what was going to happen throughout the appointment one of the instructions was that our artist would change her gloves 2 times once to prep & once for my daughters piercing. She literally changed her gloves at least 4 times. It was impressive how her main focus was cleanliness. If you get the chance to stop by & see Ali & the crew Im sure you wont be disappointed. 5 stars for Alis knowledge of piercings, customer service & cleanliness. Thank you.... A Happy Father.

Got a tattoo from Tanner and piercings from Justin. Tanner did an excellent job on my tattoo and even touched up a couple of older tattoos while I was there. I spoke with other artists while there and liked them all. The shop has a relaxed and fun atmosphere, while still being clean and professional. I will be back for all future tattoos.Justin did 2 new piercings for me and helped me pick out the best jewelry and placement. Fast, talented, clean, and super nice.Pretty much any work I want done in the future will be at this shop. Thank you all for being so amazing!

I came here to get my first tattoo and piercing and had a very good experience! Chris is great and i loved getting my tattoo from him. Jon did my piercing and also did a great job! Loved this experience and the finished look of both! Will be coming back here. The girl that was helping me out and assisting Jon with the piercing was so nice and funny! A great crew of artists.

They were super quick to respond and extremely helpful. Josh did my first tattoo and its amazing! Everyone was super nice and it was a very positive experience. I drove 60 minutes to get this work done, and it was worth every minute and every penny.Their artists are very talented and each has their own unique style. I was very impressed with every aspect.

Came in here last year for some piercings and some tattoo touch ups.Jon was wonderful with everything. He explained everything about what he was doing and how I should be cleaning my piercings..When I came back in for new jewelry Ali changed it around with no problem and she explained what I could do if I wanted to do the same piercing on the other ear.Jon and Ali are both very friendly, both explained what they were doing and what my aftercare instructions.

Ive been here multiple times now. The first to fix my nose piercing and the second to get two new ear piercings. Both times the staff has been very helpful and friendly, and been more than willing to answer the questions I have! Everyone is wonderfully sarcastic and I love the personality the place has. John is a great piercer; Ive seen him interact and explain piercings to children and he always makes sure they understand before he pierces them. Hes very careful to make sure everything is sanitary, and is very thorough. I will definitely be coming back for all my tattoo and piercing needs.

The first day’s experience was great. I brought my 8 year old niece in to get a consultation to get her ear lobes pierced for the first time and Jon was great: he explained things very well for her. We picked our jewelry and made an appointment for the next day. We arrived at the studio a little early for her appointment. We were told that Jon was running late so we went upstairs to wait for him. We waited 15 minutes after our appointment time for him to arrive, but he never showed up. It showed an utter lack of respect for our time. I hope that the tattoo artists at this place have more respect for their clients. If you are thinking about getting pierced here, don’t. Go to Saint Sabrina’s in Minneapolis where all the piercers are fantastic and respect their clients.

I got my very first tattoos here and the experience was beyond amazing. The artists were very nice, fun to be around and very social. Jon is amazing. My 6yo daughter really wants her ears pierced but is very apprehensive about it. We set up a consult and he walked us through the process, step by step. He reassured her that it was ok to have the feelings she was having and that at any point in the process she could decide she didnt want to do it anymore. He made her feel comfortable and now excited about it. I cant wait until we go back for the piercings!

I’ve had Jon pierce my daughters, myself and my niece. He is always professional, sweet as can be and understanding. As newbies getting pierced Jon was very compassionate to their needs and never rushed them. He is always available to answer questions that I may have and is honestly, the best around! Great shop from location to artists to cleanliness. I mean even the faucet in bathroom was sparkling clean. From start to finish they were responsive, open to my ideas, and timely. Tattoos turned out great and will be going back for more! Johnathan did mine and my friends nostril piercing. He did absolutely amazing! By far the best piercer I have been too. He gave us all the right information and even helped with other questions I had about different piercings! The aftercare instructions were very clear. He informed us about the type of jewelry that was being put in place. Not only was he a great piercer, but he made the visit very comfortable and was easy to talk to. My friend was very nervous at first, but he made the piercing much easier for her and did very well keeping her calm! I will not be visiting any other piercer for any other piercing needs I have! 100% reccomend Johnathan for any piercing needs!

Took my daughter to get her septum pierced for her birthday. Jon did an amazing job. My daughter was so nervous and tried to hide it. I think he sensed it therefore he kept her talking and laughing. Before she knew it, the piercing was in. She said it didnt hurt too bad. The next day, she said it felt good and didnt bother her. I also inquired about fixing a tattoo I already have that is unfinished and messy. Gave me a quote to finish it; was reasonable and honest. Overall, the staff is professional, kind, genuine, friendly, and they acknowledge you and your concerns. The shop is very clean. If you need some ink or a piercing, this is definitely the place you should go to. The location is easy to find. Ill being going back for sure.

Jon pierced my daughters nose today. He was amazing from start to finish. He got her laughing and past the nervousness and taught her a valuable lesson about responsibility and good communication. I especially loved the iodine mustache he gave her. Highly recommend! Very informative and answered any and all questions. Definitely going back for more piercings!

Best piercing experience ive had. Piercers were on time, super friendly, funny and easy to get along with. Felt super comfortable and confident Jon knew what he was doing! Jewelry is high quality and had lots of color options. explained the prices to me before doing the piercing so i knew exactly what i was spending. Super cute shop as well, loved how festive everyone was for halloween! Shop was very clean, even watched them sterilize the jewelry in front of me which is reassuring. they dont use the same pen on everyone either which i feel is another assurance of cleanliness and something ive not seen before at the other shops ive been to. they played good music during my piercing too! Will be back for sure :)

My husband and I have both gotten multiple tattoos at Subjective Art, both of mine from Ramiro. He did a great job listening to what I wanted and making it happen beautifully. The shop is clean and the guys are super friendly and welcoming. My daughter also got her ears pierced there and was so nervous. Jon was nothing but kind and patient. Highly recommend them!Id also like to reference a review that is written below from the woman who wanted a lotus on her toe. I was about five feet away from that conversation. Rick was waiting for my husband to finish his paperwork. He was eating a sandwich because he was about to start on a few hour piece on my husbands hand. They spent more time than she indicated talking to her about her piece. They were concerned about the skin and if it was a big enough area for what she wanted. They did tell her about the deposit process. The sign had been there. Ive seen it many times . Rick couldnt have drawn a design then and there because my husband had an appointment and we were waiting for her to quit talking. The fact that he even consulted with her while he was also trying to get in a quick lunch was nice. I listened to the entire conversation, and thought they were super helpful and informative.

I have gone to Ramiro twice now. He has done all three of my tattoos and I am beyond happy with all of them. He is so professional and truly cares about each and every one of his pieces. His work is absolutely beautiful. He walks you through the entire process and takes his time in designing your tattoo. He is so fun to work with and makes the experience so much fun. I will be back for more tattoos! Highly recommend!!

Im so glad that my 15 year olds 1st experience with a piercing was done here. She was scared but put at ease immediately by Jon and the nose piercing turned out so good! Very fun experience and we left with great info on upkeep of the piercing, what to avoid and felt secure that everything was done safely. We will definitely go back.

Brought my daughter in today to get her nose pierced for her 14th birthday. Jon was awesome with my daughter, her friend and my super-shy 11 year old son. My daughter had an issue and wasnt happy with her large tattoo. They didnt have to help and fix it but Ramiro took time to look at it and draw up how to fix it and then he took a whole day to fix it free of charge so she was happy. They really stand behind their work and want people to be happy. Ramiro is an artist, he is a true artist that cares about design and being original and delivering a beautiful piece. I would recommend him in a minute as an artist and the shop as a good place to get work done.

Horrible customer service. Not kid friendly. This is not the place to go for ear piercings or even to inquire about it.No, the rude male outside wouldnt let me past to get in to the piercing shop, inside your tattoo shop. It is all one building.

Parlor was very clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was there to see if I could salvage my (thought to be ) closed pierced ears and Jon was able to open them again without having to pierce them. Easy Peasy. He was knowledgeable and was concerned with my comfort. I would definitely recommend!

Took my 9 yr old daughter in today to get her ear lobes pierced. Jon was awesome with her!! Showed her everything he was going to use and how it was going to be used. Then during the piercing he made her comfortable and even laugh! I would HIGHLY recommend using Jon for any piercing, for surely kids! He ended with a high five and we left and my daughter hasnt stopped smiling and looking in the mirror at her new earings!!

Awesome Tattoo Shop. Professional, friendly and slightly crazy atmosphere! I brought my ideas not knowing if it would work. Uriah took some time to come up with a plan and made it all work for me. He did a fantastic job. This place is fun and again a bit crazy but in a really good way.

John is amazing, and so talented! He talks with you like hes known you for years, he calmed my nerves by explaining the whole process from start to finish. I first got my ears pierced almost 20 some years ago and had it done at Claires. Never again! He sterilized the jewelry, cleaned both ears with alcohol and iodine (Claires never cleaned mine with anything), pierced them and then cleaned them again. I let the holes in my ears close because the hole on one side was stretched down like I wore heavy earrings. He explained that they had done them off-center and uneven. He also told me that the only way to get rid of the first holes is to surgically fix them and then pierce them. They look so much better, no longer hurt, and arent even red anymore! Im a forever customer of his now and highly recommend him for your piercing needs!!

I got my septum pierced in a short amount of wait time and the process was quick and very little pain. I enjoyed my experience with the owner and talking to his other staff members. If I get another piercing I will most definitely come here.

Not much for writing reviews because I procrastinate and Im a little on the lazy side but here goes.Was in last fall and couldnt be happier. I have 3 tattoo places within walking distance but since I had great service Im more than happy making the drive. Havent been back since Im not a hundredaire but now its the only place Ill have work done. Everyone is super cool (didnt meet the gal there but she looks like she would be nice), in a service industry its refreshing to see a group of people that treat their potential customers like people.I know this really doesnt sound sincere but it IS honest.

Atmosphere is stellar in the shop. Great artists and very friendly. Ive had 2 pieces done here and will continue to go here! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!!!

I will forever come back here. I got my frist tattoo here and it was an amazing experience. I also got my nose done here and Jon did an amazing job with it and even when I pulled it out slightly he fixed it for me and made time to get me in ASAP. Highly recommend!

Jon is AMAZING!!!! He just pierced my 5yr olds ear! Upon her ear getting infected from a previous piercing, her hole closed. She then decided today, after meeting Jon and getting a tour of the shop, that she was ready to get it repierced!! He was patient, way more so than I could have ever asked for! Showed her everything. Talked her through it. Asked her multiple time if she still wanted to do it. And was the greatest though the whole thing!!! Thank you Nikki for recommending me to bring her in to meet him!! Jon was super awesome when me and my girlfriend came in to get our nose piercings. He is laid back and even offered to contact an artist overseas when I go visit family so I know I get the right metal. I would definitely come back for piercings and tattoos :)

John is the best piercer in the state he does excellent work and hes got over 10 years of experience. He also has one of the largest and most beautiful collections of jewelry youll find in Minnesota, this place is a real find and its in a beautiful part of down town Elk River.

I just got some work done by Randy. He did amazing, super friendly and fun to talk to! Everyone else at the shop was awesome, very easy going, and funny! I highly recommend getting some work done from Randy or anyone at the shop!

Had an appointment yesterday, got a call saying the artists car broke down (i get that is life) and had to reschedule. Asked if I could cancel as I found a shop that could get me in same day. The gal on the phone was very rude and told me they dont do cancelations and that I would have to pay. I definitely feel that if it was my fault that I had to cancel them yes I would not have hesitated to pay, but since it wasnt I dont feel like I should have to pay to cancel that appointment. Wont be even thinking about going back.

Ramiro was a fantastic artist that made my daughter comfortable and very pleased with her first tattoo. I used to drive to Stillwater to the artists there, but I think we have now found our local place to get them done. The staff is amazing!

Ive been here multiple times. My mom and I got tattoos once. I got mine from a guy that should never be a tattoo artist ever again! He did an awful job. However my mom got hers done by Uriah. He does wonderful work. She was very happy with the outcome. I have since gone back for a tragus piercing from Jon. He does have a random schedule but hes very knowledgeable. I also inquired about having the tattoo I previously got from a former artist. One of the owners Uriah was more than willing to do a cover up for me. There prices are a bit high, My tragus piercing was 3x the price of most shops in the metro area. Its urban. Its right down town Elk River. Easy to find. Despite having 1 bad experience Ive decided to go back.

They were so incredibly nice, and understanding about the whole process and it all happened very quick but it turned out amazing. i’m not honestly sure the name of who tattoo’d us, but he had the “shop pet” in his room and it was a nice distraction if it hurt at any point to focus on (which it didn’t, because the music was nice and there were plenty of fun people around to keep it light and distracting for me). definitely plan on coming back whenever i add on next, very chill people 😊

Brought my daughter in for her septum piercing and can say we wont be back. Wasnt even acknowledged until 10 minutes past our appointment, then 30 minutes past our appointment the piercer came out and said he was taking in a couple more and than was gonna eat. So 50 minutes past our appointment, he finally brought us back. He was barking at my daughter for not following his poor instructions on how to lay and sit up, etc. Was the least professional piercer I have met.He did take $10 off for having to pierce it twice, because the first was crooked. Didnt acknowledge that he got us in so late until we were walking out the door.Wouldnt go back or recommend.

Super friendly staff, really helpful with picking out jewelry, very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back again! Also would highly recommend them to anybody who is looking at getting anything pierced or tattooed!

WORST piercing place to go too. I’ve never received such terrible customer service and piercing before. Jon was extremely unprofessional and rude. (Please do not go here) Walking in, I realized that there was some miscommunication between a “lobe piercing” and a “second piercing” and instead of being understanding, Jon was extremely rude and short-tempered and it made me feel very uncomfortable. I almost walked out but he made me feel like I couldn’t since I had already booked an appointment. He cussed and insulted me multiple times. It was also $200 with the “covid fee,” piercing fee, and jewelry... the jewelry was not what I asked for and not the right kind for a second piercing either. He was lazy. My piercing was crooked. Just don’t waste your time or energy here. There are better piecers in Albertville or Otsego. If I could give this place zero stars I would and I normally don’t write reviews and give people the benefit of the doubt and I am understanding but this was not okay. DO NOT GO HERE. TERRIBLE JOB AND RUDE!Just be aware. This was my experience.

The piercer is great. I love this little shop, very clean. A little pricier, but the cleanliness and explanations given for how everything’s done is worth every Penny. Will never get a piercing anywhere else ever again.

Around Halloween of 2020 we brought our 16 year old daughter in to see if your piercer could straighten the hole the last shop made now that it had healed. He was not only able to, but had far superior jewlery and knowledge on the topic. He took the time to explain to her exactly what kind of jewelry to look for in the future, how to care for it and what to do if something goes wrong. So for those of you saying he doesnt know what hes talking about perhaps you should try shutting your mouths opening your ears and listening to what he has to say. To put it bluntly. I have never had a piercing like this before but by listening and following instructions we did just fine. We will definitely use him again. And several of her friends have used him without issues as well. He knows what hes doing and does it well.

I got a Tragus and Conch piercing from John, he was awesome!! I did end up almost fainting a couple times and he just helped through the whole thing and didn’t rush me out! I’d definitely go back for future piercings!

Jordan the apprentice was very rude told me he thinks down on significant other tattoos. And I asked him to ask the artist to sketch a rose for 100$ of there liking he said the 100$ isnt worth there time even though its the minimum amount. They would not work on a tattoos I had previously and gave bad rep on another tattoo shop I went to felt very offended. Didnt even get a tattoo there my artists never even introduced himself he said a cuss word ever other word wpuld not recommend bringing kids around. Anel and sunshine are friendly all the guys are rude and very unprofessional.

From changing out jewelry to getting a piercing, Jon is so fun to chat with and really makes you feel comfortable. Cleanest tattoo/piercer I have ever been to, really like the aseptic technique that is used as well!

Everyone here does amazing work ive had work done with different individuals here and its always been a great experience. The artist are just that they know and understand what your looking for and make great suggestions great tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent great or even good for that matter . Ill continue to use subjective art for all my ink weather they are touching up old work or working on somthing new i really trust them and the work they do !

Unfortunately I have a mixed review: my in person experience was decent as Jon helped me choose a unique piece and made it beautiful. Unfortunately when I called the number on the receipt a few days later I felt like I was dealing with a completely different person. The number on the receipt happened to be his personal phone so he already had an angry tone. I simply wanted to go over my receipt to make sure I understood the charges but Jon was rude and impatient, raising his voice at me and being very aggressive. I could also hear him yelling violently at a child in the background, which made me very scared. He simply could have said this is not a good time, please call back, as I know parenting can be hard. Or please call the office number...here it is. But instead he took his anger and frustrations out on me which shows his real character. Because of this I want to WARN others about this place---Jon seems to have a temper and can change and become an aggressive or even violent person at times. BE CAREFUL!

This was my first tattoo with Ramiro and I will definitely be going back to him! I wanted a small sunflower on my wrist and wanted it to look realistic, which is not easy to do when so small in size. He made it happen and I absolutely love it! :)

Took my daughter here for ear piercing. Shes 10. She was nervous going in, but Jon is just amazing with kids! He had her talking in no time, showed her all the tools (including the needle), explained exactly what he was going to do, had her initial the paperwork beside me, and in the end she nearly skipped into the room to get her ears pierced! Nervous again waiting for him to prep and clean, and clean, and clean! Then he just started chatting away and she didnt even know it was done. Well worth every extra cash spent to avoid a trashy gun shooting a dull stud through her ear by someone whos had 1 day of training. Only issue I can see is....she wants to go back for more! Then again, so do I. Guess I know where my overtime dollars will be spent!

BFF and I got matching tattoos. I handled pretty much everything with Subjective Art through Facebook. They were super friendly and informative from start to finish. Im EXTREMELY happy with my tattoo. I am actually in the process of trying to find my next tattoo to have done at Subjective Art. I will continue to go to them for future projects.

Omg I love this place the guy that help me with the big brown beard. Was so sweet. He knows what he doing. He really educated me on my piercings. Things I didnt know. Go to an professional to get piercings. Not places like Clairs, Walmart ect... and dont do them your self. I highly recommend this place. Amazing customer service from the phone to in person.

I’ve received 2 tattoos in the last year while in Vegas and have been looking for a local shop to add more. Subjective Art Tattoo will definitely be my stop for my next tattoo.

Came into the shop to look at jewelry and it was like everyone that was working there was immediately my bro. I’ve never been to a place where the employees were so down to earth and professional like I’ve known them longer than a half hour. I will definitely come back for more services and maybe even hangout with them if they are not busy.

I got completely scammed with a lip tattoo I got here. It was my first tattoo and I didnt come in knowing much about it. I was given no information about the tattoo artist, not even his name, I only knew he was the only guy that would do it. He told me it was $100 which I thought was a little pricey bc my mom had gotten a few tattoos under $70 that were much bigger than the one going in my LIP but I wanted it bc I was told it would last 3 to 5 years and it would be fun to have. Well fast forward 2 months and my tattoo is extremely faded to the point where you cant see one side of it and Im out $100 plus tip. Its disappointing because my friend was given free jewelry with her tattoo and piercing purchase because she wasnt concerned with the price where I was. I was on a $120 budget and I was given a pushy service and a faded almost nonexistent tattoo that was suppose to last a couple years. I recently went to Modify Tattoos in Becker and asked about the service I was given there and they too said that it was a scam and that lip tattoo only lasts 3 to 6 weeks and that he will not do them because they dont last. So in the future if you choose to go here, be cautious and set a budget because from my experience theyll try to push you into more than you can spend.

My daughter got her nose pierced here, put the smallest nose ring possible In her nose, nose swelled up around the whole piercing, front and back, wen I called the shop, they told me to bring her any place that deals with that, they wer unable to help! Brang her two differnt places and both said they can’t help due to the size and swelling .... infected after just one day... now she has to go to ENT to have it surgically removed!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, save your money and go elsewhere!!!!!

I had an ok experience, but one of the pieces of jewelry wasn’t the one I picked out & I didn’t realize until after I got pierced with it which was a bummer. There was a vast assortment of jewelry to choose from but I definitely won’t be coming back just because I didn’t like the vibe.

My wife and I got our Soundwave Tattoos here. It was a relaxing and professional environment. This was my first tattoo and was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this place for any tattoo work.

If youre interested in a tattoo, go somewhere else. This establishment is not trustworthy, and has no integrity. Also the amount of time and consideration the tattoo is given is poor, at best. This is a lengthy review, but if you are thinking about getting a tattoo, its worth a read! I have a missing big toenail and had an interest in doing a tattoo on that area. I called ahead to go in and have a consult. When I got to this place the apprentice (desk clerk basically) was the only one that briefly interacted with me. The person (Rick) who was going to do my tattoo was sitting behind the desk eating a sandwich. He did not get up ONCE to take a look at the site where I was wanting a tattoo. The apprentice had me take my sock off in the waiting area and he took (literally) a glance at my toe (while the tattoo artist continued to sit eating his sandwich and talking to some young child behind the desk). I expressed I wanted a lotus flower. Asked him if he needed to look at the toe? Oh no, a lotus flower, well... (head shrug). Basically, no big deal, thats common and easy. No design was drawn up, yet they suggested I make an appointment for the coming week now since they sometimes fill up fast. I felt a bit uneasy about the whole scene, but I put down a deposit nonetheless (my mistake!) At the time I was told (by the tattoo artist, Rick) it was refundable if I cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment. I began to feel apprehensive about getting it done. I called to cancel. Talked to Rick directly, who told me they would credit my card used since it was before the 48 hours. No credit. Called twice, and finally got told that the person who takes care of the books (their words) said it went through, so it must be a problem with my bank. It never did go through so I opened a dispute. They in turn were dishonest in their part in this dispute. They stated a drawing had been made for me (funny thing.. it was never mentioned, nor did I ever see one), its for the tattoo artists time (which there was none), AND to add to that they sent the cc company a picture of a sign stating no refunds which was posted after the fact. It was not there when I was in the establishment. Their only suggestion now is to contact them and they will set up a tattoo for a different date, giving me credit toward that. Beyond poor business practices and absolutely NO integrity. Not trustworthy. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Jon and his assistant were awesome. We had issues at first but they found ways to give me what I wanted. Ill defiantly go back if I want more work done.

First response through email took 2.5 days. Second time I tried to book online and after 3 days there was no response. Apparently they do not want business.
