Both Rob and his son Dave are both excellent tattoo artists. I love in Nc and Rob tattooed a Cardinal on my chest 13 years ago. Since then, many people from the area have come through my shop in NC and their tattoos from Rob have aged with perfection. Hes not just a great tattooer and musician but a civic minded really great human.This shop is wonderful with wonderful staff that really care about their customers and their community.I wish I could give them100 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

We had my 5 year olds ears pierced here. All of the staff was incredibly patient and made sure she had a great experience! Shes obsessed with her new pierced ears and they have been healing wonderfully (4 weeks out). As someone who had my ears done as a child at the pediatricians and a mall store, I have been so impressed with the minimal discomfort and zero issues she has had with her new piercings. We will definitely be back when she gets older if she wants any other piercings!!

Awesome Tattoo Shop. Artist are top notch. I ve gotten multiple ink from Rob Massimiano ...and now pieces from his son David Massimiano. Worth the 2 hour drive.

Came in the middle of the week in June to get two earlobe piercings, not busy at all. Very quick and painless & sanitary. Overall good experience! Easy to schedule.Third piercing is the one done in the shop!

Dave is great, hes done several of my tattoos including part of my watercolor sleeve. I see him every couple of months and highly recommend the entire staff!!

The piercer was super friendly and helped ease my nerves for my first piercing. I got my first lobe done. Great placement. Only problem is I don’t recommend following his cleaning instructions. He told me to wash it with shower water, which lead to swelling, pain, and bleeding. Rinsing with saline water is much better.

Great artists, clean shop, always professional. Rob has done nearly all of my tattoos. Hes award winning and been in the business for 34 years for a reason. Rugged outdoors vibe but always friendly. Clean line work, excellent color work. His Native American work is nothing short of masterful. Ive recommended him and his shop to anyone Ive known even thinking of a tattoo. I cross state lines to go to this shop. Totally worth it.

Professional. Talented. Hospitable. Sanitary. Prices in line with industry standards. I prefer Rob, the owner, but have been tattooed by others in the shop as well and Im thoroughly satisfied. Will gladly perform touch up work. Youll definitely need to make an appointment. Appointments are generally a month out. Skilled in many styles and cover up so youll definitely find the right artist for your vision! Enjoy!

First experience at this shop, the artist and piercer were hostile/unfriendly. My navel was pierced very incorrectly.. To make up for it, one piercer promised he would do my earlobes for free to make up for botched navel. Welp, once I come back for the lobe piercings, I get charged $60. Claims he wasn’t aware of the deal taking place that day. My ears got infected from the jewelry used.. Do not come here… Save your money!!

My daughter and I had our tongues pierced and the guy was great that pierced it very pleasant and patient and nice. I had a tattoo done and Dave was wonderful I loved the tattoo and want to get more by him.

I got my septum pierced here as a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon. Darnell was very friendly and led me through the process. The shop was clean and I never second-guessed getting pierced. I would definitely recommend checking them out!

The tattoo artists are good at their work. No doubt about that at all. But this ONE piercer was totally horrible. It seemed like it was his first day the way he was carrying himself. He kept changing tools, jewelry, gauges and etc. he pierced a hole through my lip and I IMMEDIATELY started gushing out blood. I had my snakebite piercings done twice and has NEVER bled not a single drop! I don’t think he was confident in his piercing skills and I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL!!! He kind of short, has blue eyes and blond hair. Avoid him at all times! I left disappointed, irritated and angry. Didn’t even get through the piercing. I cancelled. Blood all over my shirt and pants! Dropped everywhere, to the point where he had to give me a tidewater t-shirt to cover it up. Safe to say, just get tattoos at this store and nothing else!

I just left tidewater, after searching all week for a reasonable price I found it. The owner Rob is very nice. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable. Price very reasonable unlike other shops in the area. I will be back... BTW I love my tattoo.

Everyone is super nice and makes the whole experience wonderful. My girlfriend got her first tattoo here, took 4 sessions and the price is very good, the artwork grand, and Rob is a very talented and nice guy.

Got my lip repierced and he did a great job putting it back thru the old hole which was closed for like 2 years. I have had 3 piercings done there so far and Im very satisfied.

Very very rude. Not friendly at all. went to make an appointment and immediately got this awkward reaction out of them that was so rude and unprofessional it made me feel uncomfortable. poorly mannered. pretty much as disrespectful as possible. if you think of getting a tattoo there, DONT.

I came in neurotic 3 separate times in 2 hours and these wonderful people helped me figure out each time what I needed to do about my lip piercing and were so kind. 10/10

Do not go here for any type of piercings, i got 2 piercings done about a year and a half ago, and one got infected and it wouldnt heal, i went to a new piercer today and they said the guy who pierced me did it totally wrong and it never would’ve healed no matter what i did.
