Crows Nest Tattoo

The Crows Nest tattoo shop is the perfect place to get great tattoos done by some very talented artists! I got my newest tattoo done here a couple months ago and had the best experience. After searching for the best tattoo artist for years I have finally found one here in Adam. He is extremely talented, personable , professional, and did what turned out to be my most favorite tattoo that I have ever. I’m definitely making this place my home for future tattoos! I highly recommend.

I got my first tattoo done here and it was a great experience! Wil did amazing on my flower bouquet, it was done very neat and he did beautiful line work, I constantly get compliments on it! The place is very clean and a good vibe overall! I definitely recommend!

Jay did my tattoo today and let me tell you, Im shocked Ive never met such a personable, down to earth, easy to talk to, humble and amazing tattoo artist. (I have 4 other tattoos at all different places so its not my first rodeo) Hes so easy to talk to even about things other than tattooing and you can tell he genuinely cares about his work. the piece he tattoed on me today looks amazing. I will definitely be going back for more work. Also on a side the rest of the crew working there do great work as well and are just as easy to talk to and have a friendly manner as well. The establishment is kept very clean as well. 11 out of 10 in my book. would recommend this place to anyone

Abeni created a wonderful piece for me. I sent her my ideas and an general description of what I was looking for. She took it to the next level. When I arrived she had 3 beautiful, but very different, style designs for me. I fell in love with the one i chose immediately. She did a fantastic job tattooing. I even asked her if she had used numbing cream because I barely felt it. Everything has healed up and it looks great. I highly recommend Abeni and the shop. Wonderful experience. I am already thinking about my next piece.....This is one week out. Tegaderm was just removed, tattoo was washed and slathered in hustle butter.

Wil did my tattoo based off a book drawing I sent him and he was able to customize it for myself, and also make the design bigger for me too. He has an excellent eye for detail. The experience was great, quick, and worth it! Everything was clean and he was also helpful about after care instructions.

Lisa retouched my eyebrows last week. Yes, they look good! LOL Lisa also did other tattoos for me to cover scars from breast cancer surgery. I always receive compliments on my eyebrows and other tattoos. Lisa is an awesome tattoo artist. Her level artistry, professionalism, and expertise in her craft and top-notch! She goes over and beyond to ensure that you feel comfortable and are happy with your tattoo. I often refer friends to Lisa because I know they will be impressed and satisfy (not to mention, returning customers like me). If I could give her more stars, I would certainly do that!

I got my first tattoo in 2021, and since then I’ve wanted more. I moved to Maryland at the start of this year and finally decided to start looking for a new tattoo artist to hopefully be able to go to regularly. I found an advertisement that Abeni had posted and the moment I saw some of her designs I knew that I wanted her to do my next tattoo. I went in today and not only was Abeni super sweet and kind, but everyone else was very lively and in general it was a great atmosphere. She did an absolutely amazing job on my tattoo and I for sure will be going back regularly in the nearby future!

Crows Nest is easy to find and a clean, chill environment. I felt totally comfy being tattooed there. Wil has done several line work tattoos for me over the last year and always does a great and thorough job. He is very down to Earth, patient, and willing to work with all of my neediness. Definitely recommend this shop and Wil!

I went and got a tattoo with Abeni this last weekend. Let me tell you how amazing and crisp her line work is. If I could get a tattoo everyday all day it would be by her. Abeni made me feel so welcome, comfortable, and relaxed the entire time. I can’t see myself going to another artist to be honest.Apart from that, the studio was so clean, welcoming and just so nice. Everyone else there was also so kind. I really enjoyed my experience there and from all the tattoos I’ve ever had, this was by far the best one yet and the best studio and experience I’ve ever had ❤️

Love my tattoo and loved my experience. My artist, Abeni, was responsive and supportive from the beginning and reached out as soon as I booked my appointment. She made my idea come to life and asked me about my pain while getting it done. Pain is to be expected but I appreciated that she checked in with me and thought to ask how I was doing! Will definitely be coming back in the future.

I had a disappointing experience at this tattoo shop yesterday. The artist, a young lady, seemed rushed and distracted, which affected the quality of my tattoo. At the end of session, she was visibly upset. This made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unprofessional. My friends and husband had to tell her to correct my letter W because it looked more like the letter V. Unfortunately, the final result reflects her lack of focus and attention to detail. I’m left with a tattoo that doesn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this shop to others.I received a 5 letter tattoo for $100 and it looks terrible.

Absolutely thrilled to share my experience with Jay at Crow’s Nest Tattoo. My first tattoo ever and from start to finish I felt very well taken care of. He answered all of my questions and concerns with a smile on his face and made me feel very comfortable. This tattoo meant the world to me as it was my late father’s signature. Adam created a shaded design of two flying bats, a tattoo that my daughter and I had been discussing for a long time. He listened carefully to what we were trying to achieve, prompted us with the right questions, and executed beautiful art for us. A great experience.

Lisa Doll did an AMAZING job on my most recent tattoo! She was so patient when I modified the design and very clear about cost. During the process she was pleasant, and informative. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and I cant wait to go back to her for my next one!! 💓

This is a very nice, clean, and professional shop. The artists are all talented and courteous. Jay did my tattoo, and he explained everything from when he and I traded emails and walked into the shop to when he finished the tattoo. I highly recommend and I will be back for more work.

I got my fist tattoo done here by Abeni Schoch. She was amazing. The place is very clean they take time to make sure all of there tools are clean and ready for use. The vibes were great everyone is super nice and helpful.

This was my fourth tattoo with Lisa Doll, in addition to permanent makeup on my eyebrows and eyelids- and I have been thrilled with everything she has done! Her designs, technique and patience make it a very enjoyable experience- and I am so looking forward to my next inking!

So far I have gotten 2 tattoos from Jay (and I say so far because there is nobody else I would want to get a tattoo from other than Jay), first one a cover-up where he made an asymmetrically portioned generic 2D guy into a 3D hooded Jedi with a purple, electric lightsaber and then a second one where I got a simple legend of Zelda triforce tattoo on my arm. The first one was tough because he was working with somebody elses work and I really didnt know exactly what I wanted other than making the guy symmetrical. He gave me the best recommendation on what he could do on the spot and how much better he could make it and lone behold, a proper Jedi was created on my chest. Jay is like Harry Potter with his tools, an absolute wizard. I cant wait to go back and get another tattoo! Thank you Jay and your studio is awesome!

Jay was informative when I was not 100% sure how to get a much needed cover up done. Once we picked the perfect peice we got rite to it. It was two sessions and I must say Jay made sure I was comfortable and kept me laughing so I was not focused on the pain.. I only have experience with one other tattoo studio, and I think Crows Nest Tattoo is a really cool place with amazing artists. The whole ambience is very chill, and they offer TVs, air hockey, and snacks while you wait. Jay, one of the owners, helped me feel at ease and is always there to talk or have a good laugh. His ink work is top notch. I make the 40-minute drive from Rockville because I know how great the work is at this studio. Youll be glad you made the extra effort to get high quality tattoo art!

Crows nest is a hidden gem in Ellicott City. Walked in and got some work done by Wil on a Thursday evening, and it came out great. Highly recommend the place, the people are chill and cool, and you can get some seriously good work done here.

Just got my first tattoo done, and it was such a great experience! The staff are professional but not in an uptight way at all. I was a bit nervous at first since it was my first tattoo but my artist, Wil, was very patient and listening to any and all concerns I had about the tattoo. The staff is very easy to talk to and know how to make you feel comfortable and at ease.
