Tried and True Tattoo

Jay was able to correct a piece that I had done at another local shop. He was kind, professional, and honest with me from the very beginning. I was in love with the idea, but it had been executed so poorly by the original artist. I was so relieved and thankful that he was able to rescue my mermaid. I will be back for future pieces of art.

Found Louie on Instagram. We chatted about what I wanted and he definitely delivered. Surprised my daughter with matching mother daughter tatts for her 18th birthday… great work. Louis is very sweet and very kind. Thank you for such a great experience. I’ll be back

Ive been trying to get an anime piece done for a while now and while on Instagram, I came across the artist Ju! I came with the idea and his creativity made it into a masterpiece! Positive and Overall great experience!😌

This is a true customer review.After two successful appointments at this shop, I walked in today with a design in one hand, money in the other and they turned me away, for no reason other than not being able to settle on a color and they didn’t like how the final design would look. Never, ever again will I come here. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I have gotten all my tattoos from Matt! He does a wonderful job! His shop is very clean and he makes you feel very comfortable. My husband has gotten tattoos from him and was very pleased. Matt is a great person as well as a friend. ❤️ Thank you Matt!

I was a new customer waited almost 2 months for appointment with the best tattoo artist in the shop lol and I get a message saying he cant do my tattoo becuz he dont know how to incorporate the names I want! After I waited what a joke why would they say he is the best...and if he couldnt put the names how I wanted he could of drew something up to see if I liked it!!!! Thats for treating a new customer so well...I will let everyone know!!!

Matt Cirno is the owner and the person I go to for all of my tattoos. He comes highly recommended from everyone, not just myself. Everybody in the shop is very friendly, funny and welcoming. Theyre usually booked awhile in to the future so get your appointment in as soon as you can, there is a deposit to schedule.

Was my first time here & I absolutely loved this place!!! Took my daughter and mother in for their first tats to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday & I could not have asked for a better turn out...Bc it was their first I did some hunting around for best pricing. I actually live in N. Olmsted and I called 3 did shops all with Base prices start off at $75-$80. Which was steep for a small cross w/a rose & “faith” on the inside of the wrist. I knew they were like $50 tats.And I was right! For what some in Cuyahoga County would do for $100+ Tride & True did for $61 each out the door!Besides the fact that the shop is the cleanest & well kept, up to date tat shop I’ve ever been to(the outside does it No Justice), but the crew they’ve got, are the most friendly guys! Freddie did all 3 of ours & No Complaints, he was very open w/us, very informative & easy to talk to. The owner Matt was there & he is just awesome! Came right up to us in the waiting area just to bs & make things more comfortable. Really felt like you were talking to an older brother or uncle. You really feel like you’ve known them for years.I was nervous bout bringing 2 newbs in to a place that I haven’t been to bc if your first is a bad experience not likely to get another one...Thank you so much Freddie & Matt for making my daughter’s sweet 16 just perfect, she’s already planning her next one & I know exactly where we’re going to come get it!! ~ #newlifelongcustomers 😜

I was so nervous about getting my first tattoo, I just randomly chose to go there one day. I was impressed with how the place was kept (most other places Ive been with other people in the area are a little...grungey, in a word) and the guy who I talked with and who ended up doing my tattoo that day (Tim, I believe) was wonderful. I love my tattoo, it healed beautifully and I will most likely go back there for my next one.

Soooo just got a quarter size tattoo and apparently (after the fact that I got it) I was told that it was 125$. Minimum was 100$. Next time talk about the price before you put it on my body because I regret this and will never be coming back.

Great experience for a first timer. Matt was patient and funny too. The tattoo came exactly like the picture I showed him. Clean and tidy, would definitely recommend this place.

I went there to get a tattoo and it was the best ever. The shop was clean and very nice, and the man who did my tattoo made sure I was comfortable and okay, and made sure I wasnt in too much pain. I love Tried and True and will continue to go there!
