We took my daughter in to get her nose pierced for her birthday, we have had a rough couple of weeks and she made the birthday the best. Thank you so much for the piercing!

My dad and I wanted to get matching tattoos. It was a simple celtic tree design. We let Josh know a day beforehand and he said he would show us a drawing before we had the appointment. We showed up and he still hadnt drawn the design out. We gave him a little time to draw it out, but quickly saw the drawing was poorly done. So we canceled but he still got his non-refundable $100 deposit for nothing. It appears we expected too much.

My husbands and my first trip to Southern Ink was a joyful experience. We felt welcomed walking through the doors! The place smelled and looked clean. Theres a very comfortable atmosphere. Josh Soper was very professional and kind. He communicated very professionally over the phone and in person. He took his time with our tattoos to make sure he did it correctly. We appreciate a skillful and professional tattooartist ! Southern Ink is the best around Mississippi! Thank you Josh for this experience. We will be back!

No one was there, doors locked, open sign on, set two appointments over $100 for no one to show up or be there!! You havent settled anything! I havent seen you, and have only spoken to you twice afterLiterally 20 to 40 times calling before I finally get a response back. Told me to call you around lunch so we can do my piercing and then still not be there and not say itll be 5oclock! Yet for was wife open, again being ignored! RE: 2 months later and still no response or person manning up for scanning and screwing me over!

*They deleted my comments and reviews on facebook* Just want to warn people... Not only does Shae have terrible business ethics, but so does the owner. Not looking to get my money at this point, as its been 6 months passed the initial canceling, just want people to know they are a terrible business.DO NOT GO TO SHAE. Its unfortunate that I make this review, as I had high hopes for this place. I booked my arm piece session with Shae. The first two sessions went as planned! The piece required 3 sessions. My third session was booked in May and Shae canceled on me (supposedly sick).What she didnt know was my boyfriend had a session booked that day with another artist and she was there working the day she canceled my appointment. Of course, I was respectful and requested a reschedule, but due to my upcoming TDY (Temporary Duty, as I am Active Duty Air Force), it would have to wait until August. She asked that I contact her in July instead of just rescheduling. She claimed she didnt book until a month out. I put down a deposit after my second session to secure the final appointment I would need to complete the arm piece, so my spot shouldve been secured regardless. Since the day she canceled on me, she has blocked me from her professional page, personal page that she used for appointments, and has been unresponsive to all messages, calls etc... She owes me my deposit and has made no attempt, at the very least pay me back my deposit money. My boyfriend talked to her, and told her I was trying to get a hold of her. Ive left multiple messages with members who work at the studio. Not one call back. Bottom line, I wouldnt recommend her. She is shady and not honest. I had to get someone else to finish the tattoo. I wish i wouldve avoided this place in the first place.

Southern Ink Tattoo made me feel comfortable from the start. Lamar Big Country did an awesome tat for me. Bright colors with exactly what I wanted. Other tattoo shops Ive used, made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. If you want to feel welcomed and receive a beautiful tattoo you will LOVE ❤ GO TO LAMAR BIG COUNTRY AT SOUTHERN INK TATTOO!

My friend and I both put a deposit of $50 each down for some tattoos. We had to reschedule once due to funds. When we went back for our appointment the shop was closed se we texted the guy. He said something came up and he needed to reschedule. Ok, fine....now he will not respond to calls or texts. We have been trying to get these tattoos for over a month now. Worst business practices I have seen from a tattoo shop. Ive worked in a shop, and even with only 1 artist we opened on time every day, and we didnt leave our clients hanging. At this point we feel like he has stolen our money. I dont even want to have my tattoo done in this shop at this point. If they run it like this then Ill go somewhere else.

I just wanted to extend my verbal expression of how much I love this tattoo. OMAR SABLATURA did a wonderful and amazing job. This tattoo is a true work of art. No artist I have witnessed has come close to the talent that I experienced. He is a true gentleman and a master at his trade. I will go nowhere else for any additional work I have done and will send out the compliments to front street to everyone I know. This tattoo is a walking billboard. Not a good place Im sorry but they couldnt do what I wanted done they said out of their own mouth their not real artist had a bad experience with this place . I had to put up a deposit they tried to keep and no tattoo it was awful ..
