Penny is an amazing artist - and amazing person! I have been lucky enough to have her in my life as my tattoo artist and friend for almost 3 years! Her shop is super clean and has a great vibe and friendly atmosphere!At this point Im pretty sure Im addicted to Pennys artwork on my body - as I keep coming up with more ideas for her to work with!!

After losing our daughter in 2014 I knew I wanted to get a tattoo in her memory. However, I didn’t trust just anyone with such a special tattoo. I found penny through a close friend and her work speaks for itself. She is EXTREMELY talented. In addition to being an amazing artist her bedside manor goes above and beyond! She makes sure you’re as comfortable as possible through out the entire process. I truly can not recommend her enough!!

I’ve gotten about 6 tattoos from here within a year, that should say something. Both Penny and Kaleb are great artists and make sure it’s exactly what you want before we start. Easily the best shop I’ve been too, they’re down to earth and we can easily hold a conversation the whole time, which makes the whole session alittle easier.

Really isn’t much to say that hasn’t been said already. Penny is an incredible artist, and goes out of her way to make you feel at ease. I just had my first tattoo started, and she explained everything I would need to know, and made the session a lot of fun.I can’t wait to go back and get going on the rest of the piece. Can’t understand the negative reviews either.

Penny did a great job on my love birds tattoo. I put it on face book and got compliments from people who I would think are even adverse to tattoos. She talks to you the whole time to get your mind off any pain you may feel. Penny and her staff are great people. I highly recommend her shop.

Penny is an amazing tattooer and such an awesome person. She does astounding work in any style. The great thing is that shes so friendly and fun. She makes the process more than bearable, talks to you the whole time and is a ton of fun to be around. The shop is clean, professional and she makes sure your safety is guaranteed. i would recommend Old Kings Head Tattoo over any other shop in the region.

I have got three tattoos so far from Penny and can absolutely say I would never go to another artist. The shop is beyond clean and a very welcoming environment. The art Penny is able to do is incredible and always looks amazing. She works with you and gives you excellent recommendations. I have plans for many more tattoos and suggest anyone looking for an artist to check Old Kings Head!

I love this shop! Everyone is so talented and amazing there they make you feel like family! I met one of the artist penny a few years ago when the shop was Siren Studios and even after the shop moved and she left to open up old kings I followed her. Shes amazing and has a great artistic view on your art work. She really puts the time into making a piece special to the person getting it. I get complements on my tattoos shes done all the time and I always try to send them her way, she deserves it shes so creative!! Great place to get tattooed!!

Penny is the most amazing tattoo artist I have ever known. She is by far the best in the Syracuse area. Pennys vast knowledge of tattooing from artistry to how a tattoo will act on the body is astounding. Penny also does everything in her power to ensure the safety of her clients by using disposable needles. She also goes the extra mile, using only the highest quality inks and needles and is bloodborne pathogen certified. Penny has also created a very relaxing, friendly environment. Penny is the only person I trust to tattoo me.

Where do I start... from the moment i stepped foot inside, I was greeted with a happy smiling face. Penny and I flipped ideas back and forth and when we started the cover up, it was amazing. After 8 sessions and still working on the cover up, I love everything she has done and cant wait to see the final product. Penny has amazing skills and an amazing personality and I wont pick anyone else from here on out.

This shop is the best. The owner Penny is one of the nicest people I know. The atmosphere here is WONDERFUL. I always feel comfortable. She listens, asks questions, gives opinions, and helps you towards the best tattoos ever.Bottom line. Come here for a tattoo. You wont regret it.

Penny has a great personality and great skills and her prices are great also. She willl blow your mind when you ask her to draw something up. You can give her three different pictures and she will come up with one that blows everything else out of the water. Her facility is always clean and welcoming and she is 100% professional. Would recommend anyone to go see her.

I personally was a bit difficult and indecisive when it came to getting a tattoo, Penny was absolutely AMAZING to me. She’s upfront with everything showed me the expiration dates on the needle, and cleaned everything in front of me. She’s extremely easy to talk to, down to earth and an amazing person. Definitely coming back for more ❤️❤️❤️

I got a piece done by Penny back when this location was still Siren Studios. The piece was intended to be part of a matching set, and it also needed touching up. I contacted the now Kings Head Tattoo parlor to set up an appointment for the touch up and was told Id need to come to put down a deposit despite the fact that Penny said the touch up on this tattoo would be free. I also attempted to get some idea of when her schedule would be open to do the second tattoo, and the woman on the phone told me she wasnt accepting new clients and wouldnt be for months. Luckily these tattoos are fairly basic so I can get them done somewhere else, but I wouldnt recommend relying on this woman for complicated work.

Penny is amazing and so easy to talk to. She knew exactly what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable and was happy with the placement and everything. A++ will definitely visit her again.

I was looking for a cover up, and they got me in immediatly. Penny was amazing. Very clean and welcoming shop atmosphere. Her creativity with my tattoo and execution was amazing. I would definatly recommend this shop to anyone and will be going back myself.

Penny is awesome and full of character in every which way on top of that all the work she does is amazing! I have been to various artists in the past, they were good. I found Penny through a recommendation of a friend and I have never been so pleased. She is willing to work with individuals on their designs and offers solid advice and recommendations. I can not say enough about this place or artist. Go there is a must!!!!!

I got my first tattoo here, and the staff was very nice and made me feel comfortable before I got the tattoo. Penny did my tattoo and she was amazing (of course I love the tattoo as well).

Really cool tattoo studio. The artists are skilled and experienced and super friendly. The atmosphere is great, theres a large reception/waiting area and a spacious area for the artists to work. Great place to go for an authentic tattoo experience with an expert artist.

Owner of the shop, Penny is extremely rude, and talks down to potential clients. She talks rudely about customers who leave her shop to other customers. An extremely unprofessional place of business. I do not reccomend you giving this cancer of our community your hard earned money. Consider going elswhere.

Shop owner is very rude, for a customer service based industry she is NOT concerned about what the customer thinks or feels.edited since the owner feels the need to respond rudely, I was in the shop myself the other day actually and had my own bad experience this was based off of and I also know who Penny is and what she looks like, so I know who was speaking to me when I visited. BUT hope youre enjoying having so many awful reviews you had to shut down your Facebook page!

Kaleb was very friendly, clean and quick and I hardly felt a thing. He was very patient and receptive as I changed my mind about design a couple of times. Also I came in an hour early and they were very flexible and me took right in

I had an awesome Tattoo done by Penny and it was exactly what I was looking for she was a very down to earth Woman and enjoyed my experience there and plan to visit again for some touch up on my other tattoos

I travel for a living and had a few extra free days on the road so i decided to get some long over due ink. Found this place out of pure luck and loved my experience here. Not only is the owner the finest badass east of the Mississippi. She took her time with me to make sure everything was perfect and what I wanted. Definitely recommend this place

I called about availability for a tattoo and was made to believe there would be openings around 7:00, I drove over an hour and when I arrived at 7:00 I was told there were no openings which I understand but when I called them back to explain my long drive and the misrepresentation on the phone I was talked to EXTREMELY rudely. Did not enjoy my experience with this shop

When I left the tattoo looked pretty good but the more I looked at it when I got home the lines are bad the spacing is bad and I got overcharged, halo is in the process of fixing their mess and they told me that should have been a 250-300$ tattoo not 400 and I should not have tipped him 80$ I highly recommend you do NOT go here
