Emerald Buddha Tattoo

Fantastic shop. I have several tattoos and this place was welcoming and inclusive. The art work that all five of us got was exactly what we wanted. Ben, the owner, was so kind and patient. Rachel, was easy to chat with and made sure the placement was perfect before starting. I had my maiden name tattooed on my forearm and she made sure it was in just the right spot. All other staff were pleasant to work with. Highly recommend and when I’m back in the area, I will be getting more work done.

My besties and I came in for a walk-in piercing event and had a great experience! Lauren and her apprentice Hope made a great team. We’re all very happy with our piercings. Price was super reasonable too!

As a client: Ive been tattooed by the owner Ben and Lexxx multiple times - both have done FANTASTIC jobs of bringing my ideas to life and expertly applying the designs to my skin. The atmosphere in the shop is jovial, open, and extremely accepting. Ive always felt comfortable and at ease being tattooed in this studio.As a tattooist: I have also done a guest-spot as a travelling tattooist at this studio: it is IMPECABBLY clean and well provisioned. Everything I could need to do my job was provided by the the shop. Vibes in the studio are always on point - a very copacetic environment for getting and giving tattoos.The studio is VERY stringent about cleanliness, cross contamination and aseptic procedures. Client and artist safety are evidently high priority.10/10 I cannot recommend the Emerald Buddha Tattoo enough.one love

Book your tattoo! We were with Rachel, and she was hands down the best!! Everyone in the shop was friendly and there to joke and have fun.Rachel did our entire group and was seemless with all of us, and we had the funniest conversations all while she banged out 5 different tattoos! Everyone left very happy with our tattoo and ready to come back for more!Thank you Rachel and Emerald Buddha, we will see you soon!

Edan did tattoos for myself, my sister, and my mom. We all got something in my dads handwriting. He did an amazing job, it looked just like the pictures. He was very sweet and they even got us in same day. Couldnt recommend him enough!

This is such a fantastic place to go to get tattoos. They take their time to make sure the tattoos are done amazingly. They give you step by step instructions on how to care for tattoos. They work with you on lots of things. The only place I will ever go to get tattoos. Also the emerald Buddha butter is by far amazing recommendation to buy after getting a tattoo/tattoos. It smells great and does wonder for your tattoos.

Messaged on Fb Messenger for an appointment and got a quick response with a time scheduled for that day.Enkai was my tattoo Artist and he was just amazing!! He really picked up on what I had envisioned adding in his own shading, which created such depth that I didn’t anticipate. He lost the photo sent too him for my tattoo and bragged about how quickly he could get it done after seeing the reference only once before inking the amount of faded lines and blowouts, how do you mistake mandibles for eyes in a photograph they dont take their time and I havent seen a good tattoo out of their artists in a few years

I got my last three tattoos here and piercings and I love everyone that works there. Such a welcoming community. and they always produce work that is to 110%!

I went in for an appointment for a quick touch up with Ava which did amazing as usual! I then decided I wanted some more done and asked if they had any openings which thankfully they did and Moon was able to do both of the ones I wanted and did an amazing job! She was very friendly even though I messed up on the dates a few times! Thanks again to both artists and we absolutely love Emerald Buddha !

A group of four of us contacted Emerald Buddha to get tattoos on Friday after they posted about having cancellations. We worked with Ava, who was so patient with us as we ran certain designs by her, made changes, additions, asked about touch up work, etc. She did excellent work on all of us and we were all super happy with our tattoos. Not only only did she do excellent work, she was a joy to be around. The shop itself is super clean and sanitary. We will definitely be back!

We had Lexi do our matching dinosaur tattoos, and she was just so friendly and fast! She got all 4 of us done within 2.5 hours. She also had enough time to do a small cover-up on my finger, and it turned out perfect!

Excellent experience all the way around!My family and I were in town for the weekend and 3 of us decided to get some matching tattoos!! We called and set our consultation for Saturday at 3:30 and by 12:30 on Sunday my Dad was in the chair getting his first ink ever!! David and Lex were outstanding and helped make this a very cool and well organized forever moment!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My wife has gotten 3 tattoos here, two of them cover up work. J Pro did all three and he is stellar. Perfect work every time and the detail is amazing. Super professional, laid back, and kind. The atmosphere is awesome too and everyone working their is helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a fun place to go for a tattoo. I highly recommend the Emerald Buddha.

Dave was fantastic to work with and did beautiful tattoos on my friend and I. He is a very skilled artist and made our time there a lot of fun. My friend also got a piercing and had a wonderful experience with the piercer who was gentle and knowledgeable. Everyone there was extremely friendly. The place is very clean and comfortable. You won’t regret going.

I had a walk in appointment for a piercing and was immediately taken care of. My piercing artist was incredibly thorough and she explained the process step by step which was very reassuring. The studio is very clean and the environment was very chill and laid back. I will definitely be returning!

My tattoo artist came from Ye Old Tattoo shop to here due to sharing same owners. Absolutely fantastic tattoo artist, as well as the others. They constantly have a great attitude, theyve brightened my day, and I always am relaxed and safe around there. Quality tattoo art as well. I constantly get compliments on the work done, perfect color saturation, and the artists are knowledgeable about their work.

My daughter and I wanted to get matching piercings to commemorate her high school graduation and turning 18 (yes, its more common to get matching tattoos....and Im allergic to tattoo ink). We had heard good things about EBs sister shop, Ye Olde Tattoo Shop in Platteville, and when I called them, we were instead referred to Emerald Buddha. They just happened to be hosting a walk-in event 4 days later, so we made a plan. As soon as my daughter was done with track practice, we headed south. Unfortunately, the piercing walk-ins had been insane already during the day, so supplies were low. The staff and especially the owner were very apologetic and helpful in assisting us to figure out our alternatives, and we were successfully pierced.Moon was very friendly, willing to answer all questions (and Im pretty chatty), and very professional. She took pains to ensure that every item/liquid used was not on my very long list of allergies, and she explained the process more than once, including as she was doing her work.I will definitely return to Emerald Buddha if I choose to get pierced again and recommend it highly!

Went with my daughter to get my first Tatoo. We got matching Tatoo’s that had meaning to us. David was AMAZING!!! He drew up our design exactly as we showed . He does awesome work. Super friendly, very clean, felt very comfortable. We were a walk-in and they got us right in, and didn’t rush, even though we both wanted Tatoo’s 2 hours before their closing time. Definitely recommend if you want a quality Tatoo by someone passionate about there work. Thanks David!!!!
