Hey Lance its Ayanna Ive been reading these reviews never have!! and all I gotta say is I think youre a great guy He did piercings on my nose my ear cartridges inner ear also.. and he also touched up one of my tattoos that was not properly done And I dont know all these negative people saying negative stuff about him!! I am a diabetic type one and no infection whatsoever!! with the Piercing hey wait actually he touched up more than 1 of my tattoos now that I think about it!! he touched up a lot on my right arm no swelling no infection no nothing they look great now!! and No matter how many months go by or even I think its been over a year and a 1/2 I havent gone to see him if I call he remembers me treats me sweet and Im supposed to be stopping by 2 see him just havent had the time with a lot of problems and the loss of my father now! but all I can say is whoever doesnt like his work or thinks his place is not clean then take yourself somewhere else Im a picky person and all I can say is if I go there then there must not be anything wrong with the place up the good work hopefully I can see you here soon And have a nice chat like we always do and a small piece in memory of my dad! keep up the good work bro!

Lance did an amazing job in such a short time. It healed properly and the colors came out perfectly. I would highly recommend Lance at Black Heart. Great prices, great atmosphere. For a my first time in the chair getting my first tattoo he made sure to take care of me. I appreciate the ink Lance!

Me and my Aunt both went in to get nose piercings. We got immediate service and he pierced us both in less than twenty minutes. Lance the owner was very kind, easy going, and supportive, even when i kept moving during the piercing. Very professional business. I will be back for every single piercing. Thank You Lance!

Lance is the ABSOLUTE best. I called to walk in and ended up being able to get a chest piece & someone with me a piece. My nose pierced and my daughters ears all for a decent price! He was extremely kind and patient.

Not only did he do all of my tattoos but I also recommend him to my friend who wanted his ears pierced. My friend loved the piercings. I’ve always felt his pricing is fair.

I had a great experience. I had my nose pierced here a few months back and decided to get a tattoo there today. I am in love with my tattoo and he truly helped focus my mind off the pain and just went along with me and my friends conversations, best experience I’ve ever had !

Lance did a remarkable job on my tattoo. He listened to what I wanted, looked at my picture and writing of what I was looking for and came up with a fantastic tattoo. My idea he just put a professional artist touch to it. I’m beyond pleased, I will return. His wife Jodie was every bit as nice, helpful and professional as Lance. Jodie also does piercings there as well. All my family and friends are impressed with my tattoo. I must also say it was my first. Two of the best people you’ll ever meet !!!!

Was just wondering if Jay Byrd still works there? He started a tattoo for me and I never actually got it finished, its been a few years. Would be wonderful if maybe I could come in and have someone look at it and see if it could get finished and maybe retouched since its pretty faded now. Phenomenal work and alot of my family members have gotten tattoos from Lance. If so that would be great! Out of all the places Ive been Ive really loved Blackheart! 🖤

I don’t even know how this shop hasn’t been shut down yet. The time I went in to get my piercings, Lance was higher then life. I should have known then to just walk out. All 3 of my piercings that I had done by Lance were pierced incorrectly. They never healed and I had to get them pierced again at a much better, cleaner, and most importantly, sober tattoo shop. This place needs shut down before someone ends up seriously hurt by the carelessness they show here.

I got a wonderful tattoo that is healing very nicely. Lance did the tattoo rather quickly. The reason I’m rating 3 stars is because when I got my tattoo he quoted me one price and then when he drew it up he raised the price by $50. I told him he said less he replied “I gave you an estimate”. That really upset me but I still paid the money and got an awesome tattoo. He over charged me at first but gave the difference back after I spoke up and the mistake.

Great guy, very personable. Went to the other shop in Girard, they wanted literally double the price of lance and had no personality. Lance was very welcoming and professional, lady at desk was fantastic. Lance is my new go-to tattoo professional.

I am so excited about my tattoo I could scream lol! I got a cresent moon wrapped in roses with tiny ethereal stars on my right shoulder. Its absolutely beautiful and EXACTLY what I had envisioned! Lance took the time to draw the design several times until it was PERFECT. I wanted something very specific with particular shades and colors, and he delivered.I want to share a few other things about my experience. First, I was very impressed with the amount of cleaning and sanitizing that Lance does before and after he gives a tattoo. He literally cleans EVERYTHING. Sure, thats par for the course, but to actually see it being done is very satisfying.Next, I witnessed Lances professionalism with two customers who got tattoos before me, and I was genuinely impressed and even more excited to get my own tattoo. Both of the tattoos done before mine were amazing!Both Lance and his wife were warm and welcoming, and when they told me to make myself at home, I actually believed it.My overall experience was just wonderful!As I was getting ready to leave, I laughed and said, I cant wait to get home, take off the bandage, and just stare at my tattoo! Lance replied, Im sure you will haha, and youll be staring at it for a LONG time!And I will LOVE every minute. ❤️

The shop was totally empty when I got there so I sat down assuming lance was eating lunch or something. It left me with enough time to examine my surroundings and notice the place was in serious need of a deep cleaning or atleast a vacuum. Despite this, I still got my ears pierced. I wouldn’t recommend tattoos here, lance worked on me once and the tattoo is trash.

Ive only got two tats, one on my left forearm and the other on my right shoulder. Doc did the forearm tat and it came out looking awesome! Lance did the shoulder tat and it came out great as well. Love the staff there, theyre a fun bunch of people and very talented artists as well. I highly recommend Black Heart Tattoos to anyone looking for work be it Tats or piercings.

Establishment was not the cleanest and even after telling them i can not be pierced with steel they still did my nose piercing got infected and I eventually had to take it out. since I have taken it out my nose is healing and is doing so much better. do NOT recommend and the people were extremely rude and ignorant. it’s a shame I can’t go lower than 1 star. I will never go back. and I WILL get my nose pierced at a different place because it was so terrible.

My tattoo was done really fast, and it shows. looks sloppy and i knew something was up when i was asked to draw my own design after i was left waiting in the front alone for 15 minutes, and that no paperwork was filled out at all. not impressed. uneven, messy, and just so disappointing. never felt comfortable asking him to fix any part of it out of fear he would just make it worse. excuse me while i go spend more money to get this third grade stick and poke fixed.

Been going to lance for 6 years now he has done several pieces for me never had any issues he’s a great artist and chill dude

Didnt have an appointment, called in to walk in and got my septum pierced. Was quick and easy, good comfortable environment and my piercer was a sweetheart. Very happy with my experience, will definitely come again!

Lance the guy who did my friends tattoo was a really talented and hospitable guy. The only negative is that he was the only person there, and kept taking walk in piercings while doing her piece. So it took a lot longer than it needed to.

I called to make an appointment and described what I needed done (just a touch up). I said it would be fairly easy because I just need some spots filled in. To then he replied, Oh, I didnt know you were a tattoo artist. People say that all the time but they really dont know what theyre talking about. He needs to see it first, I understand that. But the attitude wasnt appreciated. Some words of advice? Dont get cocky with potential customers, ECSPECALLY when youre not getting any business. Which was my impression since I didnt need an appointment to get work done. Thanks, but Ive decided to take my business elsewhere.

Had a small tattoo done here. Didnt realize at the time because I was excited to get another tattoo but not a single piece of paperwork was filled out or my id copied. That should have been a red flag because I ended up with a very heavy handed tattoo that has no clean edges and has zero consistent fill. Healing is leaving me with a brand new tattoo that looks like a 15 year old prison tat that I way overpaid for. Went to talk about it and was told no refunds EVER and that Im not a tattoo artist so I dont know anything. Guy got within a foot of my face with some whacked out eyes while I tried to have a calm conversation. Was told I could have it touched up for free, AS IF. Never again. This is not the Blackheart I used to know and love.

I went in about two weeks ago to get my nose pierced and they pierced it with an entirely way too big gauge. Normal nose piercings are about 22-20g mine was pierced with 16g. I understand giving a little space for swelling but thats a whole other level. I knew something was a little wrong with how it looked and when I went back into the shop to ask them what gauge they had pierced me with (knowing already it was 16g due to other piercings I have) the man I spoke with proceeded to tell me it look like a small gauge “maybe about 14g” he said. Keep in mind for all you piercing fans a typical belly button piercing is 14g. Which is LARGER than 16g to begin with. They’re uneducated and use whatever they can find to stick in your piercing. Don’t go to this shop for piercings unless you want a gigantic hole in your body and to be pierced by knowledgeless people. A 19 year old should not know more than the piercer. Just saying.

The best tattoo shop in town! The staff is very friendly and full of knowledge and is more than willing to answer any questions you may have. This is also the perfect place to get that one of a kind tattoo that you can get nowhere else!

I took my 13 year old daughter here to get her daith pierced to help with her migraines. The piercer apparently doesnt know what a daith piercing is because he pierced her frontal helix. Because of this place she had to go through the pain of a whole new piercing (at a different shop of course).RESPONSE: if this allowed me to post a picture, I would. You pierced the wrong place. There is no question. Why would i bring her back to you???

I went here to get my nipples pierced. They had the wrong address to start with but when I finally found it I walk in. The musics was screaming loud and the man didn’t even notice I was in there. I ask to use the rest room and he showed me to the restroom. He was smoking in the bottom of the shop. We pierced them an after he put the jewelry in he lost one of the balls beside my leg and tried to find it with his finger and could not find it. So he had me lean over only to lose it and jab me in the vagina. again on the other side he asked me to lean over and jabbed me in the Vagina all while looking for a ball. DO NOT GO TO THS SHOP

Had to have tattoo work done from here covered, blow outs everywhere from going too deep and it just looked absolutely awful, definitely not a custom/big job shop. If you want something small that youll regret later maybe this is the shop for you. If youre looking for quality or serious work Id recommend going elsewhere.

I went there a couple days ago and was going to get a tattoo. I waited for almost 20 minutes until someone finally came to talk to me. The place was dirty and it stunk. He was giving a guy a tattoo, using a paper plate to put the ink on. Very unsanitary. And I personally think that place should be shut down!

I told him I wanted my nose pierced where I had it done before but he pierced it where it was almost touching my face instead. Oh well, I pulled it out and will get it redone elsewhere. Lesson learned.

Did amazing work and shading on my tattoo. Very sanitary. Made the whole experience a lot easier with random stories and made it a good time.

Went and got a nose piercing and I got everything I wanted and expected was very educational about after care and was really friendly will definitely go back for more piercings in the future

Horrible Place to get any sort of piercings.. I wish I had heard these nightmare stories of other peoples piercings they didnt do right before attempting to do my Dermal on my face... the dermal was hanging out very far and my boyfriend told them that doesnt look right .. his response was to put Vaseline on the dermal and cover it up with a band aid. the dermal ended up falling out an hour later...I went back into the shop...they refused to refund my money (all sales final - look at the signs) they offered to fix it for free..but they couldnt do it right the first time. no thanks.. they wouldnt refund my money but gave me a gift certificate. . like ill ever be back. just beware
