A few years ago, the piercer at the time (Randy) screwed up a piercing of mine a few times and was super super nasty about it all after the fact. I left a long review stating everything that happened and it stayed up for a long time.About 6 months ago, Stephan reached out and wanted to make it up to the clients that got screwed over by Randy. I messaged him, and he fit me into his schedule to do a tattoo for me, completely free just as a way to make amends.I deleted the old review, shaked Stephans hand, and made a super cool friend today.The guys super chill, super sweet, and I am extremely grateful he reached out and did some work for me. 100% will be going back to this shop again, its amazing. Thank you again!!

Trinity and Stefan were amazing!! Trinity pierced my ear lobes (seconds) and they look great! She talked me through and definitely made me feel welcomed! Stefan was very helpful when explaining jewelry and also welcoming! I will for sure be going there for my next piercing!

The people here are not only welcoming, but they are great at what they do, the service is smooth and the directions for after care of both tattoos & piercings are simple and easy! I got my nose pierced there on my 71st birthday and every one of the crew treated me like I was their granny seeing to it that I got the best possible care and felt good about the whole process. Went in as a walk in to see if i could get my septum done, i have a deviated septum. had been told before i couldn’t get it done. stefan and his apprentice did an amazing job at finding the perfect spot! very nice people, very clean shop! will definitely be back!!

Took my daughter here a couple months ago to get her bellybutton pierced and I thought it was weird when he used the marker to mark the spot while she was laying down. I shouldve questioned it then, but I figured he knew what he was doing. I just remembered when I had my bellybutton pierced when I was a teenager when they marked it I was standing up and then I laid down to have it pierced. Her piercing was super messed up. She had to take it out. The top hole of the piercing was practically where the bottom hole should have been.

Last week I got a tattoo with Stefan and I’m throughly impressed. Not only was it exactly what I wanted and unlike Level Up Tattoo in the sense I never got cancelled on or given a sob story. I already got my next appointment set up. Thanks guys I appreciate you!

I got my nipples done today and best experience ever there is a new gal in training and she is very sweet i got a little woozy after it was done and i was greeted with water some candy and even got a nice fan to cool down haha! All in all i use to say I will always go here for tattoos and now I can say piercings as well again! :)

My family and I recently got tattoos in memory of my sweet Grandma by Stefan. The first, for most of us. Our experience was so wonderful. Stefan was professional, kind, knowledgeable, fun, and an exceptional tattoo artist! Although we are all family, he kept a very sterile environment for each one of us. He really made the entire experience even better than we could have imagined. 10/10 recommend!

My cousin and I originally went to Alpha to see Lela to get two lighter tattoos which went perfectly. She pays such attention to detail and is a very kind person as well. We weren’t originally planning on getting piercings, but after meeting Randy, we knew we had to. He is hilarious and makes you excited about getting stabbed with a needle. I got two facial Dermals and a forward helix done. Both were super easy. Gave us good instruction on healing and cleaning processes. Also, some other things to gas Randy up: I saw my bridge piercing was crooked and explained how he could fix it and also said he can offer custom Jewelry to fit my forward helix piercings if I decide to get all three done in the future!!! I don’t live in Montana, but I am making a point to come back to Alpha for my cousins wedding in October. Thank you, guys,

Stefan is an amazing tattoo artist! After being canceled on the day of our appointment 3x by another popular shop in town, we gave up and looked elsewhere. We had several recommendations for Alpha Tattoos so decided to give it a shot. The day of our appointment came and I was elated that a shop actually kept the appointment and was ready on time! The shop is very nice and clean, best in Great Falls - not a sketchy atmosphere. Stefan was great to work with and did an amazing job on our tattoos - not many tattoers can pull this clean and straight of lines. We are already planning our next ones and will definitely be only going to Alpha Tattoos going forward!

Let me start by saying my tattoo artist, Clea, did an absolutely amazing job. She was knowledgeable and very understanding throughout the entire process. I had some changes to make and she never lead on that she was irritated or anything. It was a memorial tattoo, I traveled to Great Falls where my dad (now deceased) lived to get this tattoo and she handled everything very respectfully. I GIVE CLEA 5 STARS EASILY!!! Most everyone there was very nice and personable. With that being said, I’m a bit upset over an incident that happened while I was there. Another artist accidentally splattered ink everywhere when opening the bottle. I understand that this was an accident and truly frustrating for the artist especially being right in the middle of a tattoo. However, it also got all over my expensive heated jacket. Others around tried to give me advice on what I might do to try to get it out which was nice but not very helpful considering I came all the way from Colorado and was staying in an Air BnB that didn’t have a washer and dryer. The artist that was responsible however said nothing to me. No apology, no trying to make it right. Just cussed her way around cleaning it up and more worried about rubbing the paint off the wall as she cleaned up the mess. Again, I can truly understand how frustrating all of that can be and I understand it was an accident but not to try to make it better is a huge lack of integrity. My jacket is ruined! I got back to Colorado and washed it with dawn soap and it didn’t even make a dent. Tried rubbing alcohol and it just smeared the while leaving the circle splat. Even though the jacket is a year old, it’s still worth around $100/150. Now it’s worthless.

My experience with Alpha tattoos was amazing!! I had won a memorial tattoo from a different shop- with the 4 different sessions it took, and all of the appointment changes and being postponed (not on my end), on top of being told my tattoo was finished when it definitely was not..... i decided to go to Alpha and see what they could do to help me. Stefan did an amazing job to bring the life into my dads memorial tattoo!! I am blown away by how much of a difference just 2 hours of work did to make this look the way I was hoping for to begin with. The staff is very friendly and it was a fun environment to be tattooed in. I definitely recommend going to Alpha for tattoos, I know I will be going back in the future! 😁

I went and got my second tattoo for a Christmas present last month and James is incredible!! His work is amazingly talented and he is a very nice, personable, and professional person. James did my Norse themed tattoo on my chest and while I went in with some anxiety he qualms those worries really quick. After the tattoo was finished James took plenty of time to explain the after care process perfectly and now my tattoo is healed and looks incredible! The shop was also very clean and had a great atmosphere with some awesome music playing the whole time🤟. In summation; this place is the place to get your tattoos! Great people, great atmosphere, and I’m definitely going to James for all of my future tattoos!

Randy is the absolute best! I’m pretty new to the area and Randy was highly recommended to me both online and by word of mouth. Really nice guy, super knowledgeable and professional. I was able to book an appointment for him to pierce my nose really quickly and easily. It was the easiest piercing I’ve ever had, so quick and actually painless thanks to Randy. I’ve been going to Alpha for over a year. It’s the cleanest shop and has the best artists in town.

Randy is an amazing piercer. I had a different piercer pierce my belly button and ended up with a terrible placement and infection. Once I healed up I went to Randg to get it repierced. He did a terrific job. The placement is amazing! He made sure to pierce it based on my body type. Hes very friendly and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend seeing!

Loved my experience here. the lady who checked me in was very nice, and the dude who pierced my nose was super chill and comforting. it was my first time at a real piercing place and this experience made me less scared to go to more :3 i did knock down a star because my piercing is crooked BUT they did fix it for free. he didn’t fix it on the second try but i’m just too lazy to keep going back to fix it. also the dude kinda smelt like steamed broccoli…. will be going here for some tattoos when i’m ready!

The team down at alpha are amazing!!My friend and I got tattoos with Angie a few weeks ago and they’ve healed so beautifully!Today I went to get a septum piercing and it was the easiest and calmest piercing I’ve got to date. I walked in, and signed the paperwork before heading back. Randy not only made sure I had the correct anatomy for my piercing, but he also talked me through the whole process to make sure I was comfortable. When I started to go pale we took 5 minutes before putting the ball on the jewelry so that I could take a few to breathe.The piercing was super quick, easy, and it looks so beautiful!Anytime I’ve been in the shop whether it’s for a piercing or tattoo I’m always greeted with smiles. I recently got tattoo work from Stefan. I am more than impressed with his quality of work. I’ve had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Sam twice and pierced by Randy multiple times. Sam is very professional and takes pride in doing great work. I found Alpha in a Google search (Im new to the area) and called to make sure they still perform piercings (others in the area advertise them but no longer do them). Randy was great on the phone & very helpful. When I arrived for my appointment, I was impressed by the shop itself. Clean, modern, freakin cute inside. Yet still rugged & manly and just... nice. Randy took fantastic care of me when I came in without a clue of what to expect getting a piercing. He was so patient, knowledgeable, and friendly, it put me at ease really quickly. Stefan did a memorial piece for my Dad. He did an excellent job. Very professional & friendly & great environment.

This is specifically for the PIERCER..I hate to do this. But I am leaving a bad review based on the state of my ear now and the lies I was told. I was promised up and down that the jewelry Randy uses is real silver and not plated… I knew it was to good to be true but I wanted to trust him as he’s supposed to be a professional. But I had one of the worst allergic reactions to the “real metal” I have ever had in my entire life. I am very picky with aftercare and I have done everything I am supposed to. One day my ears started burning and itching and started to swell. Upon further review the metal plating started to come off in my new piercings. I immediately took it out but that doesn’t matter as the reaction already started. I put them in a cup of peroxide to further my investigation and yeah.. the peroxide completely ate away at the so called real metal. I do have photos of the jewelry and all of that fun stuff but just please be weary on this. I started talking to others around town who have gotten piercings and they have mentioned this same exact thing so I’m just really upset. It’s no wonder now why they wouldn’t heal.I am really upset as I’ve spent a good chunk of money on the piercings to be lied to. The piercings I was able to quickly change out has had no problems magically as I put a real metal in it. I refused to touch the other two because of the pain associated with it. I don’t know what to do right now. But yeah. This would not of happened if it was actual real metal like he promised. Definitely broke a lot of trust I had in you as I came to you with my concerns about the metal allergy.

Everybody at this shop is super professional and just down to earth people. Real easy to talk to and are very knowledgeable in their craft. Definitely know how to make you feel at ease when being pierced. I did my first body suspension and is was cake. Very relaxing experience and would highly recommend. I have yet to get a tattoo but Ive seen their work too and its quality work.Im definitely planning on getting some ink from them too.

I went to Stephan for 2 tattoos and he is super funny and makes your comfortable easily. He also works fast so you aren’t sitting in pain too long. I got my nose and belly button pierced by Randy and he is also great and quick

I have 4 dermal piercings on my upper back trap muscle area. It is not a task at hand I can perform on myself to change out the jewelry on my own. Randy took care of me and was very calm, gentle, and made a point to start up conversation with me about intellectual things in life as he did his work on me. I also met Seth and he was very courteous himself as well. The shop itself is a very beautiful shop with eye catching design and a warming energy within it.

Walked in needing a cover-up on my finger and had the idea of a scary face or something. Stefan freehanded it with his machine and nailed it. Super cool guy, rest of the shop was really cool. I went to Alpha Tattoos & Piercings on a whim today, luckily they could do a walk in appointment for a nose piercing and a small tattoo. It was one of my best experiences in a shop like this Clea and Randy are the absolute best at what they do and had me laughing from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out the door! 10/10 If anyone asked me where to go for either one my answer will be here from now on. I’ll be back for any of my piercing or tattoo needs!

Came in to get my Daith re-done after loosing it a while back. Randys Stabbings did a wonderful job reopening the hole that was closing. He put in the bar I need for work.The shop was meticulously clean and orgaized, the whole shop, not just his room. Completely the opposite of a different shop I had been in the day before.I dont know if I will be getting another piercing done, but I will recommend Alpha Tattoo & piercing every time I am asked.

I went to randy for my piercings and he fixed both my front Tragus that was botched from sparrows and arrow and my helix that was botched from mystic rhythms and no pain or swelling and neither of my piercings were painful or infected after randy fixed them! I highly highly recommend him for any piercing needs!! Stephan redid a hand tattoo that was botched and I couldn’t be anymore greatful!! Thankyou so so much for giving me great quality tattoos and piercings…. I can’t stress enough how much I recommend these guys for your tattoo and piercing needs!

Incredible service! I wanted a daith piercing for migraine relief. Randy is very knowledgeable about how the piercing works to prevent migraine attacks. He explained everything thoroughly and it was almost painless. I also appreciate that he only uses titanium jewelry.

Randy initially fixed my friend’s septum after she had a bad piercing experience at another shop. I had my bridge pierced by Randy and he had to re-pierce two times to get it to where it should be. I did appreciate that he wanted to continually see me to make sure everything was looking right. I had my labret pierced by Randy as well which was done well the first time but when I went in for a jewelry change I requested a ring and he put the jewelry in without even showing it to me and it ended up being far too large. I told him I’d pay for the jewelry even though we didn’t end up using it and requested a circular barbell instead while I found a better fitting ring. The circular barbell was also too small and my lip was too swollen for the jewelry length within an hour. Finding out that jewelry I purchased was externally threaded was also disappointing. The sizing chart he had was from a company called BodyJ4you and upon looking that up you can find their jewelry on Amazon for a whole lot cheaper than $15/piece. I can no longer recommend alpha unfortunately.

I’ve gotten over 20 piercings by Randy, including several dermals and the daith piercings for migraines. My migraines have decreased exponentially since I got both of those done. Every one of them have been very clean, perfectly placed, and healed with no problems. He is very professional, explains aftercare extremely well, and makes sure you’re equipped to go home with your new piercing. They are the only place I would ever recommend going for any of your piercing needs!

Randy did a few piercings for me and tapered open a closed piercing for me. Hes the only piercer in town Ill go to. 100% professional and his skills speak for themself. The entire team at the shop are super professional and chill and being at the shop is just an awesome atmosphere. Thanks guys!

I honestly believed there were zero good piercers in this town. Had a botch job done by Vito down at Mystic Rythms on my septum. It went terribly. Took it out and it left some scar tissue.Enter Randy. This amazing human understood my PTSD, walked me through the process and talked over my options. He wasnt willing to do it if my nose was messed up or if I didnt have the right anatomy. He was gentle, kind, and strong and lead me through the process of fixing what someone else had botched in the past. Now I have an absolutely perfect septum piercing that I can rock proudly.I have to also speak of the open and inviting atmosphere that is Alpha Tattoos. I get my tats in a different town, but upon walking in here and viewing the photo galleries on their website, I will probably pop in and work with one of these artists for some serious work in the future.

I had the extremely good fortune of being cancelled on back-to-back weekends by another local tattoo shop, which gave me the opportunity to discover Stefan and receive a FAR HIGHER QUALITY TATTOO THAN ANY OTHER ARTIST IN THE GREAT FALLS COMMUNITY COULD PULL OFF IN THEIR ABSOLUTE WILDEST DREAMS. The only artist I would allow to put permanent work on my body within 200 miles. Highly skilled, very professional. This is somebody who is putting a roof over his childrens heads with his work, and approaches it as a profession and not a hobby. Alpha is clean and a fantastic place to spend time and money.

There should be 10 stars for the job Stefan did today. He took a 20 year old, busted, faded, gnarly tattoo of my Mother that no other artist wanted to touch and made it a masterpiece. I have lots of friends in this industry, and I like to support them all, but it’s hard to pass up the level of work he does.
