He is very thorough in explaining the process, the earrings to choose from (big variety), cleaning, etc. He was very clean and so so so patient with my squirmy 4 month old! I liked how he kept changing the hole marker until he was 100% proud of it. He was very efficient. My baby cried, but every baby is different! They even gave her a little balloon afterwards- so cute!! I 100% Dr Mendez because his method is better( more hygienic & less prone to infection/ripping) than the traditional piercing gun. Definitely worth the trip. Thank you, Dr Mendez!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Mendez enough! He exceeded all of my expectations and made the process of piercing my 7 month old a breeze! Wow what an amazing experience from start to finish! He is very thorough with explaining the process, answered all of our questions and eased any doubts we had. He cleansed my daughter’s ears thoroughly, ensured we were happy with placement of earrings, and plus had a variety of earrings to choose from. He gave us a kit to go home with that included directions, do’s and don’ts, and an antibacterial soap to cleanse the site. Amazing top notch service!

We took our 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced per her request. She wanted to have it done the traditional way. After some research, we gathered that going with a professional as opposed to a teenager at a mall was the most adequate way to go about it. Dr. Mendez was very thorough and patient, he explained the entire process to us, as well as our daughter, and made sure she was ready and willing to take every step of the process. He was very careful and cautious, but he also provided his insight as to the location of the piercing. He presented us with a large variety of options for earnings, and after my daughters choosing, he went on and did her piercing. It was fast, before she was able to have a reaction, the earing was in.I highly recommend Dr. Mendez for his caring, patience, professionalism, and most importantly, his ability to handle and manage kids. Do not go anywhere else. This is the perfect place for piercings.

We found this place on Google. We didnt want to take our 8 month old to the mall to get her ears pierced with a gun. This place was amazing. Every one was very welcoming. The place was very clean ane Dr Mendez was informative and caring. Im recommending anyone I know to this place.

The doctor did a wonderful job on my 5 month olds ear piercing today. The office was nice and clean. The doctor explained the process ahead of time and answered any questions my husband and I had throughout. My daughter cried for a few seconds and was then smiling shortly after. I’m also thankful that the doctor does not require a vaccine (tetanus) in order to pierce her ears like other places. His website is also helpful in explaining the benefits of using a needle vs a gun (so happy he uses a needle!). Thank you for doing an amazing job doctor! I would highly recommend him.

Such a great experience. My daughter had hers done at 3 months. She is healing perfectly. They had a large selection of earrings to choose from. You’re able to choose between white gold and yellow gold. Overall experience with the doctor and his staff was excellent, I highly recommend them.

Ive gotten my daughters ears pierced here when she was 8 months old. I love the fact that Dr. Mendez uses a needle instead of the piercing gun to pierce our precious babies ears. There is less risk of infection and less risk of trauma to the ears. We will be looking to bring our youngest daughter as well to have her ears pierced. Thank you Dr. Ear Piercing.

Dr. Piercing was fantastic. I went to get a second hole in my ears. He explained the whole process. Made sure I liked where the holes would be. The place is very clean. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know. He pierces babies all the way to grown adults.

We had a great experience at Dr. Ear Piercing. Rachel scheduled the appointment for us, and she was very friendly. We have a very active 7 month old, and Dr. Mendez knew exactly how we should hold her to keep her comfortable and still. Our daughter was smiling a couple minutes after, and she loved the balloon that they gave her. Also, there was a good selection of earrings.

Took my 4 month old for ear piercings. The office was clean, staff was professional, large selections of earrings and the piercing procedure was quick and sterile. Baby cried more for her vaccinations vs the ear piercing. Aftercare instructions and soap provided. Would definitely recommend.

I found Dr. Mendezs practice after spending quite a bit of time looking for someone to do a needle piercing for my daughter(s), ages 6 and 9, since I previously had a bad experience getting my own ears pierced with a piercing gun. Rachel and Dr. Mendez were wonderful and put both children at ease. We had their ears pierced ~6 weeks ago and they are healing beautifully. Great experience and would absolutely recommend them to other parents looking to get their childrens ears pierced.

Beautiful and professional! My daughters a week shy of 4 months old and is always active and giggly so for her to be held and sat while he pierced her was my own challenge and he was so patient! He explained step by step everything he did, from sterilizing, to washing his hands, to explaining how to remove the earrings when the time comes, to how to clean them everyday. Gave a take home kit with instructions and cleaner. I’m so so happy! Rachel was a sweetheart and gave my son a balloon while he waited and he got a lollipop.

Amazing experience!! Dr. Mendez was amazing! So thorough explaining his procedure and the after care. Reception was also lovely. Our 5 month old on cried a little and we went to their other room to feed her and such and she was perfect less than 5 minutes after!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! So wonderful!

We visited here to pierce the ear of our 4 month old daughter. I had done some research and was inclined to do needle piercing rather than the gunshot one. Dr Jerry M was very good at explaining the procedure for ear piercing and after care needed. Everything went very well without much crying. My daughter was alright by the time we started back home. The receptionist was very well spoken and provided us with room for nursing the baby. Recommend this place for infant ear piercing.

Dr. Mendez is amazing! We knew we wanted our daughter’s ears pierced with a needle not a gun so we were SO happy to find him. She didn’t even cry until after he pierced her second ear. Everything was extremely clean and seamless process. He did such a great job with her ears that when we had our second daughter we knew we’d be going back to him when she was ready to have hers done. Absolutely awesome! They were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We brought our 14month old daughter for her ears and the process was so fast. We came today with our 4 month old and I was very impressed. The receptionist was very nice & welcoming. Our daughter needed a diaper change & she provided us with a private room to do that. The doctor was very nice & took his time explaining to us the process & what the after care process is. The whole thing took 5-10 mins tops & there was very minimal crying. Had an amazing experience with my 4 month old. I was very nervous because she was so small, but everything went smoothly. I was informed of everything that would take place along the way and how to take care of my baby’s ears afterwards. It’s been about a month and we’ve had no issues. He was gentle and she barely cried. You also have some privacy to feed and attend to your baby afterwards. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. There was a large assortment of earring to choose from which was nice. I highly recommend bringing your baby here for their piercing.

Excellent customer service. I emailed the office, filled out forms and scheduled an appointment with such ease. Upon arriving, we text the office and received a message that they were ready for us. Rachel welcomed us into the office. The office is clean and smells amazing. Dr. Mendez was informative and reviewed the process and aftercare with me. I was nervous that my daughter wouldnt do well since she is 9 months old and so aware of her ears but we have been working on staying still while I clean her ears and I guess that helped a little because she did great. The piercing was quick. Rachel and Dr. Mendez are really amazing. I gathered myself quickly after the piercing was done and Rachel told me to take my time and feed baby if I wanted to. That was excellent advise and I do recommend that anyone getting babys ears pierced should be prepared to nurse or bottlefeed baby right after. My little one nursed and fell asleep right after. She woke up in the car with a smile and a balloon that they gave us for her which made her smile more. Overall, it was a great experience. Definitely returning once its time to change her earrings.

Today I took my 6 and 5 year old daughters to get their ears pierced and couldnt have had a better experience. My 5yo has been looking forward to it for weeks and definitely hesitated but saw how amazing Dr. Mendez was with her sister so she went forward with it. Now I have two super happy little girls and we had a wonderful experience. Dr. Mendez was gentle, kind and patient and I highly recommend him for ear piercings!

Very nice place. I drove 1hr and 36 minutes just to take my 7 month old baby girl, since where I live (Ct) needle piercing is against tattoo/piercing insurance policy. The whole visit was about 10 min. Dr. Mendez was very nice and thoroughly explained how to care for my baby’s ears. Very clean and professional office. The receptionist was super nice especially since she gave me a balloon for being a good girl since I expressed how the piercing hurt me more. Lol I highly recommend it. I’m very satisfied.

This was a overall great experience. Did some research on ear piercing for my 2 month old and it lead me to Dr. earpiercing. Making appt was easy, accommodating and drama free. Everyone told me to just go to local mall for ear piercing but something told me that I would want the best best care for my 2 month old and I went with my gut. I drove from an hour away and was very happy with my decision. Upon meeting wife who was very nice filled out a quick form and Dr saw us right away no waiting. He explained everything before starting and sanitized everything in front of us he instructed us on our every move which for me is important because I was a nervous Nelly for my baby. He had several options in jewelry and I explained I wanted something to avoid allergy and he knew just what to give us. Long story short he pierced my baby’s ear and she cried for maybe a second and then like nothing happened he invited us into another room to take our Time and change or feed baby if we needed (us moms understand how important this is) me and my husband hanged out in room feeding baby and changing her for our hour ride back home. Happy baby happy mama. Dr was not only personable but very intriguing I highly recommend thus the reason behind this long review.

My husband and I wanted our baby to have her ears pierced with a needle by a professional and not just take her to the mall with someone using the gun. The Dr. was very professional and knowledgeable. My baby has no issues, her ears never even got read. We were given a soap and instructions how to clean her ears. It’s been about 2 weeks since then and everything is well. We totally recommend this place.

Our daughter had her ears pierced here at 8 months old. It’s been almost 3 months since and we’ve had zero issues. It healed perfectly (I took care of her ears exactly as instructed.) They look absolutely adorable and my daughter barely batted an eyelash when it happened. He was very clean and opened everything in front of us. It’s an unconventional space, as it’s attached to his home, but it exceeded my expectations.

Wish I knew about this place with my first daughter, heck even myself! In any case I appreciate his practice and his empathy for little people. He was very clear with the piercing process, the after care and I appreciated the sanitary steps taken before, during and after (as a RN, I have a keen eye for break in infection control and I didnt see any). I wouldnt go anywhere else for piercings...super grateful that he has this practice 👍🏽

They did such an amazing job! I got my ear lobe pierced here and I dont regret it. He cleaned everything in front of me and showed me exactly what sizes he had available. He was very kind and patient considering how nervous I was for my first piercing. He even gave me a little care package for how to care for my new jewelry and an informative pamphlet of the healing process! I cant wait to go back and get a new piercing!

We had our 6 month olds ears pierced here last month & Dr. Mendez was great! He used a needle not a gun (which was hard to find btw!) and he didn’t require our daughter to have a tetanus shot just to have her ears pierced like her pediatrician’s office🙄 (with a sterile needle nonetheless). The whole process was super quick and probably took about 15 minutes. Our daughter barely even cried! They also give you a little kit with cleaning solution and instruction. Wonderful experience, highly recommend.

My wife brought my 1 year old daughter to get her ears pierced here after reading all the information about how it would be done. It has been 3 weeks now and her ears look fantastic. They were never even red or irritated at all. They are healing so perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

It’s not easy finding infant ear piercing. Most places I was able to find uses a piercing gun. A simple google search will explain how bad piercing guns are. From traumatic tissue damage to unsanitary conditions and extended healing time I was completely turned off from piercing guns.Dr Mendez is very professional explained the entire process. In a very clean and sanitary office.

Went here to get my 2 month old ears pierced. Few things, this place of business is actually in a residential home. This was the first red flag for me. I thought I had the wrong address, anyway I rang doorbell and a nice lady answered the door. She told me this was the place. I went inside then I met the guy that did the piercing. Were currently in a pandemic and my 2 month old hasnt gotten all her vaccines so I asked the guy if hed be wearing a mask, he then proceeded to hand me a pamphlet on why mask arent safe. I discussed it with my wife and decided not to get the piercing done. I was not comfortable with putting my daughter at risk. I really wanted to like this place but a no mask policy was a big no for me.

Excellent experience! The only place I would trust to pierce ears. They use the needle which is the safest way, and he knows exactly what he’s doing. The place is immaculately clean. Very kind staff as well, made me and my kids very comfortable.

I did not get my child’s ears pierced here but the office sends you a consent asking if you are ok with the “doctor” not wearing a face mask as it inhibits health. This is completely unethical during a global pandemic and puts children at risk. I would never trust a place like this to perform any procedure on a child.

I didnt want just anyone piercing my daughters ears. To be honest I was a little hesitant about the doctor not wearing a mask, overall we had an amazing experience. I strongly recommend him!!!

It has been difficult to find a specialist who would get on phone to just help answer simple questions, let along back and forth correspondences. Rachel was willing to help & provided prompt responses. I was so worried & scared about my current pierced ear situation as this was my first piercing, but this experience with her definitely helped ease me.

I went there to get my infants ears pierced and was shocked that it was too small of an office to do any social distancing and yet none of the workers wore masks. Its the hieght of the pandemic with numbers on the rise and youre dealing with infants who cant wear masks and dont have a full immune system yet. Then when the doctor walked in the room to pierce her ears I asked if he would wear a mask and he said no. This is my first experience with a business in New Jersey where nobody was wearing masks. To each their own I guess but I wish they would have told us that in advance so I wouldnt have wasted all the time going there.

We got my 2 month old daughters ears pierced here months ago. I didn’t want her to get pierced with a piercing gun and I was very pleased that we found somewhere that uses a needle. My 10 month old niece even went a few weeks later to get hers done at the same place.

He’s amazing. Came 2 years later after my daughters earring fell out and he took care of it. I wouldn’t send a kid anywhere else
