Incredible Ink Tattoo

My mom and I have come here for 3 consecutive years for our annual vacation tattoos and have always received exceptional care, artists, and designs. We especially love the close attention to cleanliness! Love our beautiful and colorful floral tattoos and the realism provided by the tattoo artists. Thanks, we’ll be back ;-)

My daughter had always wanted me to get a matching tattoo with her but never got an opportunity before she lost her battle with cancer. Today my sister and I went and got one that tributes our love for our children. Loved the service I received at Incredible Ink! I was recommended this tattoo shop by someone I got my haircut by on the island. I’m from out of town so I took his word for it and I went and got a small tattoo on my right shoulder. After this tattoo I now have two, they are both the same size maybe ones a little bigger but not by much at all and I was charged $250 when I got my first tattoo in my city. When I went to this shop they charged me $600 and made me get it in cash. I didn’t understand why it was $600 because the lady at the front desk told me that it was $100 upfront and then $100 by the hour. I have a video of when we started and finished and it was 11:00 A.M . We finished at 1:00 P.M . So if my math is correct, I should have only payed $300. So when I asked the lady why I was paying so much at the front she told me I was having to pay 100$-200$ every hour depending on the artist and day. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I should have fought her on it because I knew it was wrong but I just went with it blindly. I was told when I got there it was $100 every hour and $100 up front. If I would have known it was going to be $100-$200 I would have gone somewhere else. Then the fact that she made me go get it in cash, even more ridiculous because I had to find an atm that would actually except my card because my bank is only local and 4 different ATMs wouldn’t take my card. Why not mention that you can only except cash at the start? And then taking my drivers license to make sure I come back. What if I were to be pulled over… But thank god I got a free T shirt. And I wore the plastic that they gave me for three days like they told me, and once I took it off, my skin peeled off, taking the black coloring of the tattoo with it, and turning it completely gray after wanting it to be black. Really upset with everything that has happened after wanting this tattoo since I was a 7.

We made our appointment for the 4 of us in November. Talked to a really nice guy (who unfortunately was not there the day of our appointment). Told him exactly what we wanted, sent pictures and paid our deposit. The day of our appointment, there were two people at the front desk when we walked in. No greeting, no friendliness, nothing. They literally just kind of looked at us. It immediately gave a negative vibe to the place. Why so serious? We were unknowingly about to drop $600 for a total of 32 minutes of actual tattoo work, and we couldnt even get a hello?The place was very clean and the artist was very thorough in cleanliness. He was also a bit on the gonna take care of these tourists and not give them a lot of friendliness vibe.Because l had discussed price on the phone and was quoted no more than $120, we didnt ask for price when we got there. As you can see from the picture, the tattoos were identical, and took him at best about 8 minutes to do each one. So when we went to check out and charged $150 EACH, was when we wished we had gone elsewhere. This was a special time for us and the overall vibe and unfriendly atmosphere really sucked. I have sent the tattoo design to two other artists; one quoted $75 and the other quoted $100. In addition, they charge you too much for the credit card fees that we were not notified of. So yeah, we feel that we were very much over charged. Lessons learned in life. Best advice is to get a price before the needle goes on the skin. A little friendliness goes a long way as well.

Great shop! Prices are reasonable for quality work. My wife and I both collect tattoos while we travel, and the artists were both able to get us in on short notice. Friendly atmosphere and cool people working at this shop. If your on the island and looking for good tattoos we highly recommend stopping in.

We were staying in HHI, but for some reason decided to check out the tattoo shops in Savannah. We kinda waited till last minute and to make it worse we were trying to book an appointment on Friday the 13th. Most shops had specials going on that day with lots of walk-ins expected. Couldnt find a shop that would book the appointment so we decided to look on HHI. Only had two shops from what I saw that were worth checking out, but after walking into Incredible Ink and looking at their work we were able to squeeze in an appointment for later that day. To make a long story short, the tattoo came in under the quoted estimate (a first), and it was done quickly and professionally. Shop was very clean, had a large sitting area, and we couldnt have asked for more. I couldnt go back and watch my son get the tattoo, another first, but it worked out good anyway. Staff was professional and personable. Overall an excellent experience and quality work, thank you!!!

My husband and I walked in for anniversary tattoos and the crew was eager to help. We got Roman numerals on our wrists and Jake was our artist. He was super cool and it was super quick. I have nothing negative to say about my experience and would come back.

My husband and I decided to finally take a vacation away from reality and came to Hilton Head. We get few trips without kids so when we do, we get tattoos. These guys are awesome! From the first phone call, to walking out the door was just a great experience to wrap up our little vacation. Dan tattooed my husband and I. A “simple” palm tree and moon. He was just great, the conversation was awesome and of course the tattoo is everything we hoped to get! Pretty cool and chill dudes up in there. If we ever make it back to Hilton Head, I know where we will be visiting again.

I came to Hilton Head on a little getaway and decided to stop into the shop and right from the beginning fell in love with the piece Jake had made for me. I definitely would recommend getting work done by Jake and I personally would get more ink work done by him. Also, prices are reasonable and worth it.

My wife and I went in to get a tattoo from Dan while on vacation. We got the longitude and latitude coordinates of our wedding in the mountains. She got them across the top of her knees. From one side to the other it’s two different sizes, her left legs is completely crooked, the 0’s are two different sizes. They didn’t seem to care of the terribly poor job they did. Immediately upon leaving the shop we contacted our artist from home and will be getting it fixed. Incredibly disappointed with the whole experience.

I had a great experience at incredible ink! Very clean and fast, and they drew up exactly what I wanted. I got two flowers that were very fine line and the detail was great! Everyone is extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. My mom dropped me off and they felt so safe. Overall amazing and would definitely reccomend!

Jake did mine and my husbands tattoos and did absolutely amazing. (We’re out of towners also who just walked in) The customer service as soon as we walked in was super friendly and it was quick getting back. Absolutely will be back to get many more from there!

This place was great! Sal was great; super nice and super talented. My only grievance would be it’s just a little over priced. The man who priced my tattoo was not the one who did it and seemed to make it up as he went along. Other than that it was a great environment.

Customer service initially was distasteful, especially as a first timer. When going over design, we were made to feel like we were wasting their time. Younger guy was not friendly at all. Rob did a great job and was quick and courteous. Ask for owner Rob.Upon checkout - told us what’s best for aftercare. We were then told we get it for free if we leave and show them the google review. My tattoo looks great! But Ill let you know that they charge too much! I got a pretty simple design and its no bigger than 3 inches and it cost 260$. Theres not a lot of shading either and their minimum price was 100$. They were nice but I was a little taken back when he told me the price for what I got.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo. Customer service was great everyone was very informative with tattoo care. Rob is the man and did a fantastic job! I will definitely be coming back to incredible ink.

Went to the tattoo parlor with friends and was treated terribly. guy at the front desk was very kind and patient but the actual tattoo artist in the parlor at the time was apparently in a “bad mood” and had a terrible attitude. friends decided not to get their tattoos and he became incredibly angry with them. they were then told to completely leave the building, and were treated very rudely over all. they then called me from OUTSIDE and said that they felt uncomfortable and unsafe with me being in there by myself due to our and their treatment. i decided not to go through with the tattoo at this shop for these reasons and told them that i needed to head out and apologized. the tattoo artist then pointed at a sign and told me to get out and told the guy at the desk that i was mad because i “couldn’t get tattoos with my friends”. i’ve worked in customer service for three years; i understand having a bad day, but you don’t treat your customers like this is any situation.

My tattoo consultation and appointment with Rob were both amazing! He listened to what I wanted and was very patient, and made sure I came out with what I wanted and I loved it even more than I imagined! Getting in was fast and he was done fast with amazing quality results!

I am so happy with my tattoo!I was on vacation on HHI last month and tried calling Incredible Ink to see if they could fit me in; they didnt answer their phone two afternoons in a row, so I randomly stopped by at about 6pm on a Friday. Fortunately they had some spare time for a walk in!Jake did an excellent job. My original idea was edited a little, but that was for my benefit considering the limited amount of time available. So pleased with the tattoo; its my favorite souvenir from the trip. Worth it to get it even though I had to skip swimming in the ocean one last time ;)Love my 🌴 and🌙 ❤❤❤

My tattoo artist was excellent and super polite, and I was in and out of the shop in less than an hour. However, the customer service at the front desk was rude from the beginning to the end. I wont be going back, simply because I dont want to deal with him again. As mentioned in another post, they ask you to write a review for a free Tattoo Goo. I understand why from a business aspect, but its also just bad form. Makes them look desperate for reviews, when the quality of work produced by their artists shouldnt necessitate it because its great.

Came in as walk in for a pretty simple tattoo. The art looks fine, however, when we arrived the artist was rude and kinda talks to you like you’re dumb. Would not recommend coming Here for a first tattoo that’s for sure because the environment is not very welcoming. There are better shops in the area. Go to island tattoo for a better overall experience. :)

While vacationing from Louisiana I stopped by after reading all the great reviews about Incredible Ink. It was late on Memorial Day and everyone was already getting in their vehicles and leaving. Rob informed me that they had already closed, but took his time to listen to what I wanted and gave me some ideas. He told me to come by the following business day to get my exact tat picked out and get sized up. From the moment I walked in everyone I came across was extremely welcoming and professional, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Rob made me feel right at home and was very accommodating. Rob exceeded my expectations with the Virgin Marry tattoo he customized for me and the price was much cheaper than I anticipated. My tattoo looks like a work of art....its unbelievable how great it looks!! Thank you Rob and I cant wait to come back for more work!

I went to have a tattoo touched up. I spoke with Rob, who was derogatory toward my tattoo from the start. He didn’t act interested in helping me. He gave me an outrageous quote for such a small tattoo. His whole demeanor was unprofessional. I will never go back to this place. And I will never recommend it to anyone either. Me and my bf just got 2 writing tattoos today ! Rob did amazing job for us ! He was pretty fast, professional and clean and also friendly!We came here because they have good rating on google.... And it’s true! Highly recommend! I don’t want to be addicted to tattoos but mine look real good ! Can’t control.... !

When they say “shop minimum is $100” what they mean is each tattoo is a minimum of $100!! They did not specify in person, over the phone or on the paper forms that it was per tattoo. I had to pay $100/tattoo for 3 tattoos that only took 10 minutes for each one…they will not speak of the artists hourly rate over the phone either, so you HAVE to go to a consultation to get an idea of hourly rate… which doesn’t work when you live 15 hours away and trying to schedule for when you go on vacation. Told the artist we wanted artist interpretations of the pictures we showed him and it was just a copy and paste onto my ankle. (Don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s cute!) highly disappointed in the pricing. I understand it’s a destination place and the pricing will be higher, but this is outrageous. Not a fan of the other tattoo I got either. My friend and I wanted matching tattoos and they aren’t the same. Shading is much darker on hers and there is a line that doesn’t make sense. Bottom line…. I would find somewhere else to go. Friendly staff but that’s about it.

I went in for a tattoo consultation he spoke to me for less than 3 minutes about a tattoo. Didnt show me any of his work told me he couldnt touch up on a different tattoo. He rushed the consultation and it made me uneasy to even setting up the appointment. For a tattoo artist not to show his work to me it made me very uneasy. He seemed irritated that I wanted a consultation which is poor customer service. If I hadnt gotten a tattoo before that definitely would have changed my opinion about tattoo artists but because Ive had really good artists before it was very irritating to have that experience. Im willing to pay good money for a tattoo but Im not willing to pay for poor customer service

I had the BEST time getting a palm tree tattoo by Rob with my mom and sister-in-law for their very first one! Everyone was so nice and friendly and the work is AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Clean shop and really friendly staff!! The whole shop has a really cool vibe whether this is your first tattoo or your hundredth. There is a comfortable and spacious waiting area with movies playing. The staff is very knowledgeable and all the artists are extremely talented. Definitely look forward to coming back for my next tattoo, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Sami was awesome ! Got a simple tattoo done on vacation with my mom and brother, but would definitely recommend her! Rob was not very friendly though he tattooed my brother. Overall very clean shop, a little pricey though.

Very accommodating...took us 4 girls for small ankle tattoos. We had to put down a deposit to make an appointment. They were ready for us and went pretty fast. Very sanitary and professional.

Wow. The tattoo I got from Rob was incredible. Im glad I drove 2 hours from Charleston to come here. Its in a beautiful location and the staff and quality are amazing. I wanted to get something representative of my time while I was deployed here, and they topped my expectations!!

I got my first heavy ink tattoo done here and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Rob was great, he made sure I was 110% happy with my tattoo and placement and he was friendly the whole time. A great experience I would absolutely go again.

Im disappointed in my tattoo for the price I paid. Me and a friend got the same tattoo a lizard, my artist was done in 20 mins hers took his time and actually made it look good, he took over a hr doing hers. When i got the bandage off I could tell the tail was messed up and the feet. I will definitely have to see if it can be fixed.

Hey, Im really Martha Im not a robot and Im 64 years old and this is my first tattoo and my tattooist was Daniel and he was wonderful he didnt make me bleed he didnt make me cry and I loved his cool fingers on my arm.

I told them that I was leaving for Korea and only had a few free days to get a full sleeve, Rob took the challenge head on. My sleeve looks better than I ever imagined, especially for doing it in only two days. I came in with a theme I wanted and he came up with a design cooler than I ever couldve hoped for. I would recommend Rob to absolutely anyone. Great artist, and a great guy. Couldnt be much happier.

I emailed the company about a tattoo consultant on Thursday, and the employee on the phone set an appointment for the following Monday when they opened. I had to drive 45 minutes to be there at 12, but when I showed up the business was still closed. I waited an extra 30 minutes, but no one showed up. Before I left I tried calling and emailed for a reschedule appointment. A week later, I have not heard a response from them. Do not make an appointment then not show up. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Best experience with a tattoo ever! Nicest people and very patient while I changed my mind several times. Sami was amazing and created a very calming and funny atmosphere as she did my tattoo on my inner arm! If I am ever back on the island I will definitely come back and get another one here!! Husband and I have been thinking about getting new tattoos and decided to head here while on vacation given the good reviews. Staff was very friendly, worked with us on tweaking designs, and pricing was super reasonable. I would definitely recommend.

Sammy was awesome! We had a great time talking and laughing. She was really open to all of our ideas and also let us know if she thought something wouldnt work or would look better a different way. It took very little time to have our stencils drawn up and we were done in just a couple of hours from start to finish.

There’s so many amazing things to say about this place. Rob for one is super kind, funny and professional. The cleanliness of this place was emasculate. It made me feel comfortable and although it wasn’t my first tattoo it definitely won’t be my last from this place. I would highly recommend to come to this incredible tattoo shop. My fiance and I both got tattoos here at the end of our vacation as a way to have a long lasting memory...we couldnt be happier with the work, the professionalism, and the cleanliness. Artists took the time to personalize both the tattoos we had done and did customized shading and details on both. Would definitely go here again!

If you want a great tattoo, make an appointment at Incredible Ink!! I emailed some examples of what I was looking for and when I showed up for the appointment she had captured exactly what I was looking for in her drawing. Its the nicest tattoo out of the 5 previous ones I have. Id definitely recommend this place and will return without hesitation if I every decide I need another one while Im here.

Pricing is ridiculous. Made a deposit over the phone said it would go towards my tattoo but never told it was a $100 dollar minimum. Asked during service how much it would be and couldn’t give a definite price, then charged $20 over minimum for a 2 inch tattoo plus an extra $7 for card fee. I have 10 tattoos several much larger than this and have never paid such a ridiculous price. I’ve even came here before for a tattoo that covers half my arm and was only $140. He then blamed high pricing because “we’re on an island”.

While visiting on vacation, I had nothing but an incredible experience while at the shop. The staff was amazing and my artist was amazing at his work! 5 star reviews.

I heard about incredible ink &Rob through some family friends.I can say they gave me a great first tattoo experience. The shop itself was very clean and they were super welcoming, it was such a funny relaxed experience and I will definitely be going back for my 2nd and so on.

Now that I’m home I’m very disappointing because you told me .the reason it would be so expensive because it would take a lot of color but I’m home now looking at all you did . was use a lot of green outline. I think $200 for a 45 min job. And a bunch of green ink is bad business. I would really appreciate if you would consider some type of Partial refund. Living in the Lowcountry for over ten years, I have had several tattoos done at different shops; but Incredible Ink is by far the best shop around!! From the moment I walked in Sydney, who has the best-colored mermaid hair I have ever seen might I add, immediately greeted us with a warm smile and was eager to help with drawing up a tattoo for us. Incredible Ink has it all talent, kindness, and cleanliness what more could you ask for! Go get that tattoo you have been wanting you will not regret it. I’ve gotten several tattoos from this establishment over the years. Unfortunately, after going over there today to get one. I have no problem stating, “I’ll never go in there again!” The customer service has went way off the deep end at this place! I walked in with my family, I knew exactly what I wanted, where I wanted it, how I wanted it done and the lady with the dyed hair behind the counter was just a total jerk from beginning to end. She didn’t bother welcoming (US) the customer into the establishment! In fact right off the jump her demeanor was VERY rude and it just got worse from there! The customer service has really drained from this place and the girl upfront should be happy she has a job. She sure as hell doesn’t deserve the one she’s got! What people fail to remember is that you don’t know who is coming through the door next. I just happen to be a Navy, combat Veteran, I will not be talked too nor down on in that way. Especially, in front of my wife and child.

Was a walk in and immediately just showed them a picture within 10 minutes my tattoo was drawn up and I was in the chair ready for a tattoo. The end result ended up better than my original idea. Was happy with the price and tipped a lot for how beautiful the art work was!
