What an amazing experience i had. Customer service was outstanding. Very professional. I presented my piercer w an experience required piercing. He was so professional, went out of his way to make me comfortable. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend coming here for all things piercing/ tattoo.

I went for my 18th birthday to get my first tattoo and my nose pierced. My time at Pure Thirteen was quick and efficient! Felicia pierced my nose first and she was very very nice! She did the job so quick and easy! It didn’t even hurt. Amanda did my tattoo and I will always come back to future ones! The line work on my tattoo is absolutely beautiful and I am in love with it. I totally recommend this place!

While there was a hefty wait, it was ultimate worth it. The place was clean,they gave you cleaning spray and an in-depth guide on piercing care. My piercer Felicia was incredible. I have autism and get really scared with needles, I was crying at one point but she didn’t say anything, my friends who were there with me had me ramble to them and both times when she actually pierced my ear she told me to keep talking. Even toward the end she was happily listening to me talk about druids,pokemon,and danganronpa. Will come here again.

5/11/2024 I was a walk in just to get a piercing changed out and had great service. Clean atmosphere and I really enjoyed the piercer Felicia. I will be returning.

Been there a few times. My girlfriend and I both got our anti-possession tattoos (from Supernatural) there. Hers being the most recent, and the better of the two lol. The artist was ABSOLUTELY STELLAR!! She was very accommodating, and extremely sweet!!However... there were two ladies at the front desk that were... less than welcoming lol. One younger, with piercings, kinda tall, and had long black hair. The other was a shorter, black haired, somewhat older lady. This one went around the ENTIRE SHOP, spraying what could only be described as Axe body spray, and despair. It was bad enough on its own, but she sprayed ENTIRELY too much!! We were forced to flee!! We had to stay outside smoking for about 10-15 minutes, until it dissipated. It didnt smell bad in the shop, so I have no clue what possessed her to BATHE the shop in it, but it was absolutely horrible!! So many people are sensitive to stuff like that, it just doesnt seem like a good idea for a business. Like, it damn near triggered a migraine. It was THAT bad!!Other than the smell, and not feeling welcome up front, the actual tattoo experience was great!!

The piercer was friendly and sweet to my daughter. Her ears are healing beautifully with no pain. Very clean and knowledgeable. Front people were not welcoming or nice, didnt explain anything, and were short.

Just got my second tattoo completed by Bruce, he did another amazing job! I will continue to go back to Bruce for all my tattoos it is worth the wait! He is an amazing artist, and highly recommended him!

My daughter went here for a tattoo. First red flag the lady who answered the phone is rude. Second she was quoted $40 for a very small heart tattoo. Got there and they charged her $80. For one small heart tattoo on her finger. Said different tattoo artists charge different prices.The worst tattoo ever. The heart doesn’t connect all the way around and is fading in less than two weeks. If I could give 0 stars I would. I honestly don’t think they want black people at their shop and over charge us so we won’t come back.It was Definetely at your shop. I wish I could leave a picture of the tattoo. we was Definetely quoted $40 and charged $80. It’s a small heart and you can hardly even tell it’s a tattoo. Not our first time at the shop but Definetely our worst experience.

This place is very clean and efficient. They have a little bar area where you can get refreshments & coffee. Its different from any other tattoo shop Ive been to. Almost like a coffee shop vibe. I went there to get my sons ears pierced and got me a $30 tattoo on their tatts for cats and dogs day where all the proceeds went to the animal shelter. I love a place that does things for the community! The guy who did my tattoos name is Flea. Hes hella cool! Said hed give my sister a good deal when she came back. I wish I wouldve gotten pics inside.

If you want a cool place to get a tattoo this is your shop! Everyone is friendly and they have some of the best artists around!

Excellent service. Facilty was clean and well appointed. Staff was so nice and even helped when our car battery went dead. So happy with my tattoo. Rachel is amazing

I’ve come here a couple of times for piercings. Overall they were pleasant experiences. The piercer is really sweet and makes you feel safe, and she was pretty thorough in explaining aftercare to me.That being said, during my most recent visit, I noticed the room I was taken to for my piercing was COVERED with spiders and spiderwebs. I counted at least 10 spiders. Me having arachnophobia aside, it seems like a health risk for a place that is meant to be a sterile environment.

Bruce B. Is amazing . He goes out of his way to make you sure you are happy with whatever you are wanting. Hes patient and a great artist!Bruce and Anthony are both incredible. I always feel at home at the shop and I know that my skin is in good hands. Very fair pricing for the amazing quality.. might have to wait a minute to get in, but its so worth it!

My friend and I went in for matching nose piercings and Felicia was our piercer. She was awesome! So professional and super clear on instructions. She was a perfectionist when it came to the placements and piercings and made us laugh as she prepped us. 10/10 would recommend for your piercing needs!

My friend and I went to get our piercings done (him being experienced and me for the 1st time) and I have to say I was very pleased with the experience. FELICIA is a fabulous piercer and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even when I almost kneed her arm on the nip piercings... sorry friend ;3 I also enjoyed her dedication to making sure my piercings were aligned and how I wanted them to be.Would recommend 👌

So took my daughter into the store at 7To have her belly button pierced to be told by the piercer herself that she’s leaving an hour early because she’s no days off. I said you can’t do one more your still at work and she said no I’m Doing one right now. She was very rude and very arrogant. As a stylist you don’t treat new customers that way. You should ask them if they want to schedule a time the next day or compensate for turning them down. Terrible business and I wouldn’t reach them to anyone period. Customers come first as long as your in your place of business

Booked appointment a week out, got there, my artist didn’t show, they couldn’t get me in with anyone else, no apologies, instead one of the artists kinda got rude with me about it. I understand they were not at fault, but I should have gotten a phone call and there was no need for one of the artists to come across rude to me. I drove out to them and my artist didn’t even show. Because of the treatment from one of the artists and my artist not showing, I will not go back nor recommend anyone to them for that reason. Gotta have good customer service guys.

I brought my teenager here to get her upper ear pierced and I got my nose pierced. I’ll start with the great stuff.Felicia was my piercer and she was phenomenal and the reason I’m giving this place 5 stars! My nose piercing was basically painless, she pierced my kiddos ear with minimal pain, and she was very sweet to both of us!The older lady up front was professional, and patiently explained everything.The younger girl was a total dud that worked up front. She was pretty snarky about any question I had (I don’t often frequent tattoo shops, so I had questions), and I felt like my presence annoyed her. (That might be true, but I don’t think a paying customer should be made to feel that way…) I wasn’t expecting rainbows and glitter.. however, I did not appreciate our interaction…

I love my tattoo and get soo many compliments on it ...AND im just lucky the my friend from jr high just happens to be a fabulous artist as well!!!

Felicia is the bomb. She makes you feel comfortable and is very professional. She has done a total of 8 piercings between myself and my daughters. I highly recommend. My encounter with other staff members was pleasant as well.

I usually go to the location in the mall, but went here to get matching tattoos with friends from Anthony. I don’t know if the staff was having an off night, but I did not feel welcomed at all. I would never come back here. The lady at the desk was very off putting, arms crossed with no smile like she didn’t want to be there. The culture around tattoo shops can be exclusionary, so it’s really important to me to find shops that are welcoming and this is the opposite of that. The staff were nicer to the cat that sits outside than they were to us. Anthony did a great job though.

Easiest 5 stars iv ever given. Adam at Pure Thirteen is hands down the best piercer I have ever had. I will not go back to anyone else. He is extremely professional, very confident behind the needle, knowledgeable and all around the best iv ever had to do piercings. I highly recommend you go see him for your body art needs!

This company hires incompetent artists that mess up people’s tattoos. When going back to get the tattoo fixed, was told that the artist was fired and that it would be an extra cost to have the tattoo fixed any another artist. I understand, the business has to make money, but if they hire horrible artists they should be liable for fixing the tattoo even if the artist is no long there.

Celeste is absolutely outstanding. She puts you completely at ease. She is also very knowledgeable of what jewelry should be placed where. Since I have been going to her she has truly educated me. She has never not answered any questions. Celeste you are “AWESOME.” Thank you for being so patient with me.

They were short staffed at the time but only 1 of the 4 employees were nice. They were very frustrated and mad at each other. Treating each other rudely and not much care for how long customers had to wait. We waited over 45 minutes just to have the piercer tell us which size post my daughters needed for the new earrings we were purchasing. Even the manager was short tempered. If you go here make sure you have patience.

I had a Helix piercing done. The process was quick, clean, and efficient. The job was definitely well done, which I appreciated. They just werent very informative. I felt like I had to pry the information about how to care for the piercing and timelines and such out of the artist. I would appreciate if they were more helpful and informative voluntarily. It just felt like poor customer service and that they didnt really care about us. The lady at the front barely spoke to us except to remind us to tip, twice. Not a bad experience in regards to the piercing itself, but I would rather go somewhere they seem to actually care about you as a person.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Guy who did piercing had No personality. Didn’t tell me his name, didn’t ask if the jewelry was ok. When I told him it was to long for my nose and was poking the inside he basically said it was to late to do anything. All the equipment was already laid out so no way to know if it was clean and sterile. He didn’t wash his hands before putting his gloves on either! Very VERY disappointed in my piercing experience. This isn’t my first one either, but it was my first one here in MS and it was awful! I do not recommend

First time here, I came in to get a new ball for my septum and ended up getting a tattoo and a new piercing. So that should tell you it’s all good vibes in there. Can’t wait to go back for more work!! Paul did my amazing butterfly tattoo.

Three colleagues recommended this place to me. I walked in on a Saturday evening and was quoted a fair price and the wait time was surprisingly short. This is my second tattoo and first time at Pure 13. My experience was very pleasant. Though I was nervous, Jake was extremely kind and patient, He did a wonderful job on my tattoo and I would consider them again for more tatts.

I have gotten 6 tattoos from “PURE THIRTEEN “ and I am so happy with everyone. They are very clean, very professional and very knowledgeable. They are extremely nice and they take their time to make sure that what you want is exactly what you get. I will NEVER go anywhere else and I plan on getting more tattoos.

Ru has done 3/4 of my piercings on my face. 2 nostril and 1 vertical labret, I also got my septum done by someone else here, every time my piercing is done perfectly, very professional and clean. Everything sterilized and they always verify if youre happy before you leave, 10/10 reccomend this place for any piercing.

Fantastic place got my nose pierced and it was super quick and pretty painless. The staff was amazing my mom and aunt also got tattoos that turned out beautiful and they had a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back for future tattoos and piercings.

My sister received work done here. She is a repeat customer however after her last tattoo and expressing how unhappy she was with the work the manager and tattooist have refused to give a refund or even try to find a timely way to fix this. They are apathetic to the fact that the work is not well done and that she is unhappy and they have been very unprofessional in their dealings. She paid $600 for a tattoo that looks like a 4 year old did the work. After posting on social media trying to garner attention to get some sort of resolution she was subsequently trashed by the artist who goes by Valhalla tattoos and the shop reacted with an angry emoji at her post and have tried trashing her saying that this is somehow her fault? This is just in no way professional. They don’t care about their customers but only their money. The manager/owner won’t even work with her on a tattoo or find someone to fix the tattoo in a timely manner. This is astounding.

The only place to go in DeSoto County for a tattoo or piercing as far as Im concerned. I always use Flea (Jeff) because he has such a great reputation on the area and is well known for his work. Although Ive seen several of the other artists work and they do beautiful work as well. Very cool atmosphere although I hear a remodel is underway! Looking forward to seeing the makeover!

Got 2 piercings done tonight and the lady was very professional and sweet it wasnt awkward at all like I thought it would be. Great atmosphere and the pricing was incredible as well. Thanks be back soon and ill definitely be sending people yalls way.

Best Tattoo & Piercing place ever. Hunter is hands down the best tattoo artist, Felicia was great helping me with my jewelery spur of the moment, Michael is amazing when in town, Wanda holds down the fort and Paul runs an awesome business. Loads of talent in the place. They are my 1 stop shop.

A nice clean facility and my piercing looks great so far, thanks Felicia! I would have gave 5* but I had to wait a little longer than expected and the price was a little higher than several of the competition shops I had called for a nose piercing.

This is the the place to go! Everyone is great from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave. My wife and I have gotten multiple tattoos done here and always receive wonderful service. I have been using Hunter Biffle. He is great. I am always very pleased with his work. He is doing a tattoo for me for the loss of my youngest son. So I expect nothing but the best. Thats what I got. I will continue to get more and continue to use Hunter. My wife has gotten 3 fantastic tattoos (which 2 are for our little angel)done by Pistol Pete and she is just as pleased as I am. We could not expect anything better that what we have gotten. Pure 13 is an amazing shop and will always be where I feel safest for great tattoos and cleanliness. I got my first tattoo at pure13 and my experience was better than I could’ve imagined. My artist was Garret and he was understanding of my first time getting a tattoo and that I was really nervous. He let me feel the needle without ink to see how much it hurt. It did hurt a little but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle. I’m definitely going back to this place for my next tattoo!!

My boyfriend and i went and he had his tongue done and i had my nose done. Everyone was super nice until we went back for the actual piercings. Dude never told us his name and was really rough with both of us while piercing us. The whole side of my face was hurting for hours and my boyfriends tongue is hurting so bad he nearly fainted earlier today (over 24 hours after having it done). He didnt explain the cleaning process for either of us. Asked if we had any questions. I asked him how many times i should clean it a day and i got the answer two with his back turned toward me. He was not very nice at all. Most likely wont be back because of him.

Great staff! Hunter is amazing I couldnt ask for a perfect tattoo.. I will come to him Every time i need a tattoo for now on!!! The only thing I didnt like is the women at the front desk she is rude and Im not understanding why she keeps letting the black cat in there.. theres a lot of people who is allergic to cats she dont need to do that!

Okay the tattoo itself I like, the service was TERRIBLE. Garrett kept arguing with me about the tattoo moving with my arm (because it’s on my forearm) and I repeatedly told him that it’s what I want, it’s for me I don’t care. The thing is is that he wasn’t rude until after I paid. Garrett tried to change the tattoo I wanted at least 8 times. He persistently told me I wouldn’t like it all bc of the PLACEMENT ON MY ARM and even tried to bet me $20 in front of other customers, embarrassing me. The tattoo itself I like because after all of the arguing, I got what I wanted and I love it like I knew i would. It’s the fact that the people at Illusions may charge more but it’s worth every penny since they don’t publicly try to bet that you’ll hate the tattoo you want. I will NOT be back and I should’ve gotten my money back the second he started up.Edit: If their pride is the case then my money should’ve never been taken. You shouldn’t agree to a tattoo then argue with the customer once you have their money.

Called ahead and they were able to get me in the same day. Place is super clean and the artists are cool, my tattoo was super simple but they did a good job and from the looks of their portfolios it looks like they do really good work overall.

Jeff Flea is awesome. I set an appointment up for a cover up. He covered up my tribal lion with a realistic lion.. He took his time and we even took breaks lol... He is awesome .. I went to one tattoo shop and the guy did not want to touch the tattoo, he was like ummm this will take some work. I went to Jeff and he was like no big deal and I am a happy customer. I go here for EVERYTHING. From my tattoos to my piercings. Im about to go somewhere else. The new girl at the front desk. (Skinny girl with greenish hair) EVERYTIME I go in there, she has an attitude. I went 04/15 to get my other tragus pierced. I wanted to upgrade my jewelry as well. When my piercer let her know I was upgrading, she rolled her eyes. With me right there! I apologized because it seemed I was inconveniencing her in to doing her job. Thats my second encounter with her and shes making me want to go elsewhere. I love everyone else, but her....wooo! Someone needs to check her.

Pistol Pete gave me my first tattoo. It meant the world to me because he covered a surgical scar from back surgery. I have hated seeing the scar draw up and it looks like an eye sore. I am super happy with the results and I will be back to him again. He did an awesome awesome job!!!!!!

I get all of my tattoos here. Ivy is my go to because of my love for anime. The wait time is very minimal and the employees are awesome. I recommend everyone i know to this place and they are satisfied every time. Looking foward to my next tattoo 😄

My experience at pure 13 was great. It was my first time there and my first time getting a tattoo. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The tattoo artist that did my tattoo was very patience with me and he did a GREAT JOB!

I had a rook piercing done. Staff was polite and helpful. Shop was clean. As a nurse I appreciated that he put on clean gloves in front of me and all equipment was opened in front of me. Pain was minimal. I will go back.

Got my first tattoo here; done by PistolPete. Very satisfied with the results. Pain is expected so the artist asked if I was okay multiple times during the session. Overall HIGHLY recommend ❗

My tattoo looks like it was done by a very very new tattoo artist... he was friendly compared to some of the women who work there but for $90 my tattoo should have been better. Very disappointed and now it will cost me another $90 at least to have someone else fix it. Ill never go here again.

Tattoo artist never let me see the sketch of the tattoo before it was placed on me. He misspelled the tattoo, didn’t complete the S on my tattoo and it wasn’t even the tattoo I picked out. Tried to contact owner and was told it could be fixed but once I reached back out to find out how they could fix it, I never heard anything else from them. So I’m left with a misspelled, unfinished tattoo that I don’t even like because it wasn’t what I picked out. Also, my boyfriend got a tattoo the same day and they didn’t completely finish his either.

Is being looong time I havent be there but I know for sure that is the best place to get a tattoo

The guy that looks like maui from moana messed my eyebrow piercing up.pierced my eyebrow at a 14g. was incredibly rude and refused to listen to me when i said i was uncomfortable. i shouldnt have let him pierce me.
