My daughter wanted her cartilage pierced. We came to Rowan after reading the great reviews. All I can say is that they were WONDERFUL! The customer service was top notch and the nurse, yes nurse, who did the piercing was exceptional! If you need a piercing or an earring exchange - do yourself (and your ears) a favor and go to Rowan!!

I came in as an anxious first time mom to have my 3 month old infant to get her ears pierced. I cried more than she did 😅. Ryan who was our piercer did such a fantastic job, he made sure that the placement of the earring on both ears matched up as best as they could and quickly did the process. She let out a quick whimper as was ready to show off her earrings. The manager even offered their back room for me to breastfeed in case she was too upset. I would definitely come again and recommend this place to everyone.

Our son was talking about getting his ears pierced for years, and no one eased his mind quite like Ryan. He was worried about the pain and the process, and Ryan took his time to explain every step. Then he used numbing cream and our kid barely felt the needle! Be sure to let them know beforehand, as the numbing cream requires some additional time.When it was over, he was grinning ear to ear and FaceTiming all his friends. Our daughter is next and can’t wait!Really appreciated Ryan’s patience and care, along with Laura and Elizabeth’s kindness, patience, and professionalism. Twice the ladies here have helped me with my ear piercings! I thought my holes closed up, but they just needed tapering. Kayana was super helpful!! And the place is so clean and nice!! Highly recommend!

I scheduled my 9 month old for her ear piercing here. Honestly the best experience we could have asked for. I really liked how clean and sterile the procedure was. Elizabeth, the nurse who did the piercing, was very knowledgeable. After we chose the earrings she gave us a complete walk through of the procedure before we started. She even allowed me to nurse my baby in a private room to help my baby calm down before the piercing. When it was time to do the piercing Elizabeth was precise and efficient. Both ears were pierced in less than 20 seconds! My baby stopped crying with in a few minutes. By the time we left the store my baby was back to normal, just looking extra cute with her new earrings. And to top off this awesome experience, my baby won the National Piercing Day contest! We got the piercing and the earrings for free.10/10 recommended!

A friend of mine mentioned this location to me for my earrings so i decided to check it out. I walked in and was greeted! Very friendly staff. Rachel assisted me with a hoop for my rook. Very happy with my experience at this location. My daughter has sensory issues and the nurse taking care of us had the utmost patience with us and my daughter. They knew to take my daughter into a private room when she was getting scared and made the situation a lot easier for her. Totally recommend to anyone looking to get their children’s or their own ears pierced. Much better experience than the old piercing guns from Claire’s

I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing to pierce their little ones ears. The instructions/questionnaire on their website may be lengthy, but do not get overwhelmed as they are meant to aid with creating a seamless appointment session. We took our four month old baby girl to get her ears pierced back in August 2023. Our assigned nurse Kayana was so calm, kind, and professional. She really takes time to perfect the piercings - she drew and redrew the dot on each ear until my husband and I (including Kayana herself) were satisfied with the placement. She explained to my husband and I what to expect before she started the process and she worked quickly between ears all the while remaining calm when our baby started crying. She answered all of our questions and we were sent home with an aftercare kit with clear instructions. The facility is so clean and quiet, you are sure to have a great experience. Kayana, thank you again for being a part of this extra special milestone for our family!

Took my 6 month old daughter to get her ears pierced and had a lovely experience. The space itself was so pretty and most importantly clean. We had Nurse Marissa who was sooo friendly. She kept making my baby smile and made sure the marks for the hole were even. She explained to my husband how to hold our daughter and was very gentle with the piercing itself. My daughter only cried for a little bit which was to be expected. Overall had a great experience and highly recommend.

We went in for earrings and they were super attentive and honest. They found an old piercing and instead of repiercing same pierce they were honest and just put the stud in and sent is on our way.

Went to Rowan today to get my ear piercing on my Helix area. The staff is absolutely fabulous. They were so sweet to squeeze me in at the end of the day and Cayana (nurse) did a fabulous job. I barely felt any pain and I was in and out in under 10 mins. She was extremely knowledge And made me very comfortable as I was a tad nervous. Would certainly go here again if I want another piercing or my daughters would like to get one. Highly recommend!

I love my piercing. My nurse, Kait was amazing as well. She was very professional and everything came out exactly how I wanted. If I based my review solely on just her I would give 5 stars! The jewelry they offer is mediocre and overpriced. I also don’t like how they calculate the tip based on service PLUS the cost of the jewelry. It should just be the service. I paid $130 for a Tragus piercing, plus the jewelry AND tip, which is insane because I literally chose the cheapest option. Overall it was a good experience, cute space but idk if I’d go back based on the pricing and lack of affordable jewelry options.

My daughter got her ears pierced today. The selection was good and the place was clean. They took us quickly. She is 10 years old and she said it hurt a little but she tolerated it very well so their technique was excellent. The Nurse adjusted her dots on the ear lobe to make sure they were even. Overall it was a pleasant experience! She even got a bravery certificate although they put February instead of March. Oh well. It happens.

Disgusting customer service at the Walt Whitman Location. I walked in since they have a large sign saying “walk -ins welcome”, one of the nurses (dressed in scrubs) gave me a nasty attitude and said I had to wait for an appointment which was 3 hours later. She then practically tossed me a QR code to scan and told me to book the appointment myself. Then walked away with a nasty attitude . The store was completely empty. Why have a large sign saying walk ins welcome when they’re going to treat you like trash when you ask if they can pierce you? How is a licensed nurse going to treat people with such a negative attitude ?? My husband was with me and he even said “what’s her problem?” . Completely off putting. I came here to get pierced because I just moved into the area, but I’ll have to drive to Patchogue where AMULET ARTS is located for a quality needle piercing with amazing , kind and friendly service . I was there March 29th 2024 at around 1PM.

I wish it was possible to give zero stars. I went to Rowan back in October. I purchased the lightening bolt earring and paid for it to be inserted by someone at the store which cost $125. Not only did the earring tarnish & become dull after a week, but after a few months the earring randomly fell out and went missing. I contacted customer service and they were unwilling to do anything to help. All they did was send me a super long email explaining how their earrings work - COMPLETELY ignoring my issues - and telling me they were unwilling to do anything. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!Edit: I went through other reviews and read that having an earring fall out is a common problem which makes me even angrier. This is clearly an ongoing problem that the company refuses to address.

I went to get a third piercing. Unfortunately for unforeseen and totally not worth the time to explain why I was late to my appointment.That’s o e plus, that you could go on the website and schedule your appointment at your convenience. But they were so kind and took care of me anyway.They explained everything to me and gave me time to decide what I wanted and were very patient.When I finally decided, I sat in the chair and explained what I was looking for and he marked and remarked and remarked until we agreed on the spots and I always asked for his opinion but he said I’ll do whatever you want, what makes you happy.Which was so nice.They were amazing and explained the aftercare and it was a less painful experience for me and his patience helped.Thank you for all of that.I highly recommend Rowan’s place.I also looked around and they have some beautiful things in there too.

Fabulous experience. I let my pierced ears close up 15+ years ago because they were always irritated.I thought I would need them to be re-pierced. Instead, the nurse was able to gently re-open them with no piercing and no pain whatsoever. She refused to charge us for the service. I am now happily wearing 2 pairs of cute earrings I bought from them. No irritation at all!

I visited Rowan to swap out my backings for a smaller/shorter size. The Nirse that helped me was extremely thorough, explaining everything, answered all my questions, and was very supportive. The space is clean and I would definitely go back.

Fabulous experience and after 3 bad experiences at other places, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.The piercing nurse was precise in getting both ears to be and look perfectly symmetrical! Piercing was for third hole.

A friend and I bought our infant daughters to get their ears pierced and we decided both to get a piercing to commemorate the day.Both my helix and my friends tragus piercings fell out. The earrings they use are different then traditional earrings and very difficult to get in especially when the piercing is still fresh. When I called to notify them it fell out and closed overnight they wanted to charge me for repeircing.So now, I no longer have my commemorative piercing, I have a $100 earring I can’t use, and I’m out $50 on the needle piercing. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.When I asked to speak to a manger, it was not permitted.

Just went in there quickly tonight because the front part of my conch piercing fell out, I was not initially pierced here. The store was closing in 15min. I was happily greeted and directed where to look for a replacement. The piercer gladly replaced the earring. Everyone here gave great service and I am extremely happy with the staff. Often times on a Sunday when a store is ready to close the associates shoo you away. That was not the case here! 5 stars!

Today was my first time ever at Rowan in the Walt Whitman Mall and I had such a great experience. I pierced my upper lobe and flat with Briana, who was super helpful. She took her time working on the placement of each piercing and made sure they flowed with those I already had. She made me feel very comfortable and it was quick and easy! I would definitely reccomend going here for a piercing.

Service was great. I wanted to too for just the service but when giving the option to tip it was a %%%of the whole price which included the earrings purchase, tax and the cleaning supply purchase. That’s not right! And it ended up being very costly as I did want to leave a tip. No option to fill in my own amount.
