Freddys Ink - Tattoo & Piercing Studio

My daughter wanted a helix piercing for her 16th birthday, and she had a friend who wanted one as well. I had one years ago that I had allowed to close, and I kind of missed it. We decided to try to do them together. I checked out the different shops and read the reviews, and chose to go to Freddys. I had trouble booking multiple people online, so I called. The owner was polite and professional, and he scheduled us with no problem. I received confirmation texts. When we found out that the friend had also booked, the owner was able to adjust on short notice and accommodate the changes. The place was very clean and sanitary. He explained the procedure beforehand and had each of us practice controlling our breathing to relax before our turn. Afterward, he explained care and healing times. It was a very positive experience, and I definitely recommend this place.

It was a great experience! I have GAD and it was my first time getting one so I was super nervous but they were very friendly and patient with me. It was over before I knew it and I am very pleased with the result!

Had a really great experience at Freddys Ink, got my nostril and nipples done by the boss himself. He was very kind, calm, and clean. Everything was sterilized before we could step foot in the room. I was mostly worried about how painful the nostril piercing could be from hearing other experiences, he calmed my nerves and gave me the pep talk everybody deserves. He was very quick and professional and confidently I can say that I felt 110% comfortable throughout the whole experience.

Freddy does amazing tattoos!! He so nice and makes sure your happy with it. I absolutely love my tattoo! If you want an excellent experience and amazing work done go to him!!

I’ve gotten an industrial and daith piercing here from Freddy, and despite my anxiety and initial nervousness of the pain and needles, he made the experience memorable and made me feel like I was a good friend. All of my kids wanted to come along when my daughter and I got tattooed and Freddy was SO accommodating! He answered all their questions and let them get up close and watch (but still kept enough space for sterility sake). Appointment only. Got my ears pierced here. Freddy is amazing and thorough with explanations. The process was literally painless. The environment is clean and sanitary as well as inviting. The Crystal Shop next door is also amazing.

Freddy is amazing. I went in with just an idea i had been floating around in my head for months and he made it happen. He does fantastic work. Very clean. Plus he is really funny. It makes sitting for hours under a needle seem to fly by. I cant wait to go back and get more work done

Freddy is incredibly skilled and obviously has a lot of experience. He gets booked out really quickly though! Especially for block sessions. I got my tattoo here yesterday and am so happy. Went to Freddy’s to get my nose pierced. I already had my left side done and he matched the position on the right perfectly! He helped me with breathing techniques to help get through the pain. He was an awesome dude and made us feel like we were talking to a friend and also gave me a super informative aftercare list! Definitely going to come back if I ever want more metal in my face and for my next tat!

Got both my ears pierced with Jostin, went wonderfully so I got a tattoo with him. He’s always been professional, accommodating, and peacefully practical. He’s open to any requests but also provides his experience to help make the best decision. Jostin is awesome! Freddy is a great guy too!

Ive been looking into getting my first tattoo for a couple of years now, going from shop to shop, talking with different artists trying to find the one for me. Walked into Freddys the other day and couldnt be happier with the professionalism and work at Freddys shop. He does an amazing job and his intern Sam is also very talented. For me it says a lot about the shop by the interns he brings on and as far as talent goes, your not going to find talent like this anywhere else in the Utah area. Couldnt be happier with my experience.

Freddy and Josten are amazing!!! Freddys attention to detail and his originality is the best in all of Southern utah....definitely go see him if you have a tattoo that may be considered a challenge he loves those types....the crystal shop next door is owned by him and his wife...you should definitely check that out too

Called in early June and made an appointment for a tattoo. Earliest available was mid August. Whatever, I can wait. Discussed the tattoo with the artist when I made the appointment. Three days before the appointment, she asks for more details so she can begin the artwork. The day before the appointment, she calls to cancel due to family issues. Thats fine. She says shell have one of the other artists get me in asap. A guy texts three days later and asks what Im looking to get. I respond with my idea and never hear from him again. Completely ghosted. Wont even respond to calls. I was never anything but patient and calm. Never complained until now. I wanted to give a local place my business but now here I am leaving a negative review.

I went to Freddys twice last week and they were both positive experiences. First on Monday I got my Monroe pierced by his apprentice Sam who did a really great job!( they were doing a special on piercings!) and the on Friday I had a four hour block with Freddy for my chest piece ! It is absolutely beautiful and I am so excited to get it finished. The line work is fantastic and so is his use of color. it is 100% worth the drive and money. His tattoo work speaks for itself, but if you are in the Saint George, ut area I would highly recommend this tattoo shop.

Quality workmanship here very clean and thorough. The owners and staff were super friendly and just all around down to earth people! The environment is warm and welcoming. Im getting a very extensive realism back piece and cant believe how well its turned out. I would recommend there service to anyone looking for quality work. The crystal shop is also emaculant, I always walk away with a stone or jewelry for my wife and kids. FYI the Google map pin point directions takes you to the wrong location. Youll find it on 700 W off state street on the east side of the street by the police station. You might have to manually put in the address and not the pin drop.

I had an old tattoo across my chest that I hated. I was referred to Freddy by a couple friends. The cover up Freddy did is truly amazing! I get compliments everywhere I go, people always tell me how it looks more like a painting and less like a tattoo. Going to Freddy was the best decision Ive made! Hes earned himself customers for life in me and my husband! Thank you so much Freddy for giving me my confidence back

My daughter got a tattoo from Sam, he and Freddy were great from setting the appointment to the art work. It was comfortable at the shop they explained what to expect and listened to what she wanted. She is very happy with her tatoo.

Amazing artists! And they are so cool and nice and its a great environment all abound! Sam has done a few tattoos for me so far and freddy has started a piece on my boyfriend. We will definitely be coming back

I love my piercing I got done here but dealing with Freddy and his business was another story. I was double charged for my transaction and after calling his store two days later he said if I’d make the drive back he would just give me cash. Unfortunately after the making the 50 minuet round trip he changed his mind. He said to wait and see if his merchant would refund me because he showed it as being voided. After a week I called back and explained I had not been refunded. Freddy told his employee that I would have to drive back to the shop if I wanted my money back. Once I declined making the trip again he told her unless I knew how to do a refund he wasn’t going to do anything. I don’t understand as a customer why it would be my responsibility to know how to work his merchant system when he’s the owner. I was finally able to file a dispute with Discover and I’m still waiting for a refund. Their work was fine maybe just use cash or go somewhere else that knows how to work their system.

Serena did a fantastic job on my most recent tat. Everyone was friendly and very helpful in answering questions about future work. When it came to drawing my design, i feel like they really listened to what i wanted and the final product was exactly what i had in my mind when i went it. Would definitely have more work done here and have already recommended them to friends.

My brother and I decided last minute to get matching tattoos. Serina was able to work us in and did AMAZING work! I will for sure be having her do more work in the future. Freddy was there doing another tattoo and was joking and laughing the whole time. The standards and personality at this shop cant be beat

Freddie is a cool dude. I stopped in just to be an annoying customer, in need of a piece of jewelry. Well, when I walked in, Freddie politely and loud enough to hear, said to come upstairs so he could help me. I responded that I was in need of jewelry, and he let me know hed be down asap. Heres the thing. Freddie stopped tattooing someone to help me. I took about 10 minutes of his time, while he found the exact piece I was looking for. I would recommend checking this place out, great people, great prices.

Theres only one way to describe the experience with Freddy and that is with the word incredible. Freddy is an amazing artist and person with a very clean and well laid out shop, and he can make an amazing tattoo out of the most basic ideas. I would go to him 10/10 times.

We went to get some piercings done. Freddy was great and very thorough in explaining everything. The gal who did the piercings (I dont remember her name 😔) did a great job and was so nice! Freddy was doing a tattoo while we were there and it looked amazing.

Kristel is amazing, so confident and comfortable with everything she’s doing. She’s so sweet, and as such a energetic personality that makes you feel like you belong there, and that makes you comfortable! I got my tongue pierced and she made it a good experience, and cheered me through it as she did it, and felt like nothing!! She’s great!

Freddy and his crew were so professional. They used the time and got 6 tattoos done in a four hour block schedule. Of course 5 were of smaller size, but it was still incredible for the amount of time. I live 13 hours away but couldn’t imagine going to a different tattoo studio, so I will be going to Freddy’s Ink every time I want some new ink!

Kristel was amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and talented. She took my idea and some reference photos, came up with an awesome design, and then did a great job with the tattoo. The shop has a great (clean) environment.

Freddy is amazing and does such a great job. With piercings for me. They didnt even hurt and they go over the care for you and he tells you how to take care of it and gives you instructions. He is very thorough.

So before I start this, let me say that I have numerous tattoos ranging from small and simple to complex and colorful. I have been tattooed and pierced all over the country. Friends are artists, I am a artist (not tattoo) by trade so I understand a lot of the dynamics in this business. That being said, Freddy is great. Love his personality but the whole process felt rushed and I knew going into the shop I wasn’t 100% but I’m a hopeful person so I gave benefit of the doubt.Long story short it was my birthday and his wife’s birthday. He closed early to celebrate with his wife (totally understandable). When I talked to him, I said I was in town on a trip from WA blah blah and always get tattoos when traveling. So he said he’d squeeze me in. Sweet. Granted I didn’t have a super clear design going in but had been chewing on an idea for months to fill a gap in my sleeve. I asked if he had a book of flash, he didn’t. Fine. I got three small molar teeth in a spot to fill a gap and the whole tattoo from start to finish took 20ish minutes. The tattoo itself is great, but the experience is why I’m only giving three stars.The tattoo felt rushed, at one point i felt belittled that I wanted to just get some molars, and then after all of this, he charged $100? I’m not one to argue with tattoo artists on prices at all but knowing I can get way more for about the same at other shops in the area is frustrating.I’m a tourist. he has a shop near a popular national park. He’s the only tattoo artist close to said Park. Upcharged for sure. ESP when the website says $30 shop minimum??? (Not saying my tattoo was a shop minimum because who am I to judge) but $100 for three small molar teeth that took about 40 min from set up to wrap up? You be the judge.Overall, like the tattoo, not wild about the experience. Sucks but it is what it is and every tattoo has a story.

Went and got my rook peirced on both my ears. Walking in i was extremely happy with how clean and freindly the environment was. Jostin did my piercings and was super nice and did an amazing job on both ears. He also gave very clear instructions on how to clean them which was really nice. 100% reccomend going here for anything. I would go back

I got my daith pierced and had trouble with the balls staying on. I went in several times and they were happy to help! I have 2 tattoos done by Freddy himself and Im beyond happy how they turned out! Best place by far to get any piercing or tattooing done!!

Sam did a fantastic job. I got my sons name and birth date, nothing fancy, but a tattoo that means the world to me and he made it perfect. I highly recommend this shop. Fun and relaxing atmosphere with strict attention to detail. Love it.

I have a piercing that is infected and will not heal. I got the piercing done at another shop. I walked in Freddy’s for help on what to do with it. Freddy stopped what he was doing and spent 10 minutes educating me on my issue. He was super helpful and kind!

I got daith piercings recently and the ball felloff the bar and the earring ended up coming out while I was out of town. When I returned I called Freddy and told him what happened and asked if he could help me out. I still had the bar part of the earring but not the ball that holds it in. This wasn’t due to any error on their part, but he had me come in right away and got the earring back in with a new ball. I’ve always found him and his staff to be professional and kind. The customer service excellent. Thank you Freddy & team!!! (Btw I have these in both ears and my migraines have lessened by about 3/4).

Love this shop! I came in and got my industrial and daith peirced for there President day sale and my experience was great! Super clean place and friendly staff. Kristel was amazing at doing both of my peircings, I was a bit nervous about getting them done but Ive heard so many great things from friends that I couldnt pass up the deal. All my questions were answered and I was able to get my peircings done quick and they look great so far. I will definitely be back and Ill be telling my friends to check them out to.

I went in for a Daith piercing, hoping for a little migraine relief. The shop is clean and well set up. The people there are friendly and caring. They called me to see how my healing was coming along. It has been 4 weeks and I havent had a single migraine!

The first thing i noticed when i walked into the shop, was how clean and organized it was. Which immediately made me comfortable. Jostin is very professional and took the time to make sure i was comfortable before piercing me.

Came in as a walk-in on a Tuesday evening and right away felt comfortable. I had a vague idea of what I wanted to get and the artist gave me a wide range of ideas and really took his time to get it right, asking for my thoughts the whole time. My very first tattoo, and I am NOT disappointed. He was so patient with me MOANING it out! It was on my ankle bone, and daaaaaam it hurt. There was so much black, that I wish for my first tattoo it didnt have. But I moaned through it. Bwahahaha. I definitely know what to expect next time. 😏 More moaning. 🤫. Lol 🤣.

I’m not one to write negative reviews but in this case my experience was so terrible I felt I had to do so because people in the community should know what to expect from this shop. I called a few hours prior to my visit to see if they could help me switch out my nose piercing and they said no problem so of course I expected a professional to help me. I drove 45 minutes from Saint George only to be given to someone who had NO IDEA what she was doing. I gave her my own personal stud to switch for my ring and because she didn’t know how the stud worked she just tried shoving it through the peircing hole which was way to small! It hurt so bad that I passed out in the chair and had to lay on the floor until I felt ok enough for her to try again. 😣 The young lady did her best but she really needs to be trained because it seriously was the most horrible and painful experience I’ve ever had. I had my original peircing done professionally so I didn’t know how the studs worked and that is the exact reason why I called prior and chose to go to a shop because I figured a Tattoo and Piercing shop would have the proper knowledge. Please please please train your employees for all types of peircings so this doesn’t happen to anyone else! I left in tears and my nose is still very swollen and red. I’m so disappointed 😢.

I just got my toungue peirced and it was 15 for it bc of their sale they were so nice and so caring and made u feel at home it was quick and painless thanks guys i luv it.

Google and their website says their open. So drove over trying to buy a new nose ring stud and the doors locked. So obviously not open.
