Village Moon Tattoo & Body Piercing

Awesome place! My friends and i decided to get our first tattoos today and a few hours later we ended up at this location. Address is incorrect they are located at 88th and roosevelt. Had a great time and the staff was very friendly and professional. Answered all our questions with kindness and were very accommodating. Would Recommend :)

My wife and I came down to Brooklyn for an event on her birthday, and had a random impulse to schedule for some silly flash tattoo. The place we booked with on the way down had to cancel and by then, my wife and I were absolutely stuck on the idea of getting tattooed! We searched and found these artists, who happily designed and tattooed some beautiful tattoos on us!! Everyone was SO nice and accommodating! I really enjoyed the whole experience, and it has truly made our adventure the experience of a lifetime!! The artistry was phenomenal and the cleanliness was too! The prices were perfect, in my opinion. We would have paid about the same way up north, for not-as-great work. I opted to go with a simple line drawing of my cat, with a silly expression on her face (hence the exaggerated open mouth) but the artist did such a realistic interpretation using minimal lines!! My wife chose a flash art style fox. I’m so impressed and happy!! Thank you SO much!!!And HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAOIRSE!!!

Excellent!! Ive become a very loyal customer when it comes to body piercing. Ive been very happy since my 1st piercing experience by body piercer Moe. Hes always been extremely honest, has always gone above n beyond to answer questions Ill call the shop with . Hes done so many of my piercings from my tongue, my medusa, my nostrils 2 on 1 side , 3rd eye dermal twice n a dermal implant in the center of my chest which is the eye of one of my tattoos. I trust Moe and highly recommend him plus he has changed out jewelry for me n Ive purchased pieces from the shop .

10/10 the artist was SOOOOO patient and understanding. He triple checked his work to make sure every line and every detail was perfect I believe his name is Wilson.

Shout out to Valente!!! Did my tattoo and LOVED it. Very helpful and visual in helping me with the tattoo. I had scheduled an appointment 2 weeks prior and discussed with him what I wanted done. The execution of the tattoo was perfect and the wait time was not long. Very chilled and relaxed environment. Clean and friendly. Definitely a go to place for me again and highly recommend you too give it a try.My advice to anyone getting a tattoo (If it is your first or your tenth tattoo) be patient, be clear what you want, make an appointment, and it will be smooth. Never rush a tattoo artist or demand that a tattoo artist does your tattoo ASAP.

They don’t allow you to get company while you’re getting your tattoo done even though the space has the capacity. First time in my life a place doesn’t allow me to have someone with me while I’m getting tattoo. Only for that I won’t come again. Sorry guys! Eric is a crack btw

I went to get my cartilage piercing changed. It was just a simple switch from my original stud to a silver hoop. The first Indian man at the counter was polite and showed me my options. However, the second Indian uncle with white hair who was performing the switch was incredibly rude and loud. All he kept saying was just pay just pay. He dropped my original stud on the floor and it got lost. They did offer me a replacement but I was still annoyed, understandably.He was very rough with the insertion of the hoop as well. Now, I’m slightly paranoid that he didn’t even insert the piercing properly. I think I will have to go to a PROPER piercing shop where they treat their customers with respect and have it checked out.They spoke in hindi the entire time thinking I didn’t understand but I understood every word ha!DO NOT GO THERE !!!

I had came here yesterday around 6:30 to get my belly piercing they did a horrible pierce, they grabbed to much skin so it was overly tight, poorly done, rushed the process because they were busy. Today i had to go to another place to get it checked out, the place i gone to said it was way too tight, when they took out the piercing to switch it, the piercing they did just sunk into my stomach because of how tight and how much skin was grabbed.

I been coming to Village Moon for about 3 years and Bob has always been really friendly and professional, not to mention his crazy design ideas. Very colorful and great quality!! If you are looking for a new design Bob is the person to look for

I’ve gotten many tattoos here over the past few years and I feel like we only write reviews about bad experiences. Sooooo, I wanted to write this review to recommend Village Moon, they are professional, friendly and talented. I go to Bob most of the time, Mo is great at doing piercings as well. I can’t wait to go back and get more ink here!

Multiple piercings- wrong size, wrong placement, charged for titanium but steel (cheaper) was used. Everything had to be removed and done over somewhere else. They dont stand by their work, unsanitary practices if not watched closely.

10/10. Ask for Santiago !! Truly an artist. Best Shop In The City ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My tattoo artist was Alonso. He was awesome! Very comfortable and funny to talk to and the best part was that he was smooth while tattooing, I barely felt the needle. Muchas gracias Alonso!

1st...the location is on Roosevelt Ave NOT 37th.(Google fix it)The location is clean & the gentleman that pierced my daughter & sold us more nose rings was very knowledgeable. This was my 2nd time using Village Moon

These store’s staff are very unprofessional. Not hygienic at all.Piercing was very painful, and took long time.Told them to do it by gun still they used needle.They will Overcharge you and put you in risk for infection.

Took my daughter for eyebrow piercing and service was great and fast, nice people, friendly and respectful!

Very rude and lack of professionalism with their comments about a customers choice in art. With the amount of judging that piercing guy did hopefully he sees himself and the mirror and lose some weight. Lets judge that buddy

This place is good the guy that was running his section that was selling the earrings was very friendly and very nice someone that that I took care she enjoyed her earrings , but as far as a tattoo section Im not too sure about that lol

They made appointment for 2 clock and after waiting till 4 pm they told us he coming at 6pm well they should have said that since the beginning never going back I got a better place better service it was poor service

Came to get a quote on tattoos. The person at the front desk had an attitude that made my friends and I very uncomfortable. Very unwilling to help and used vulgar language unnecessarily.

Nasty service. The seller’s attitude sucks, he can’t explain the ring sizes or show the colors. They have children playing around and their customer service is disgusting. Stay away from this place.

Decent pricing , good work and good atmosphere .. will recommend this place if your looking to get a tattoo

The owner was very kind and the person helped us do the piercing very gently and gave good care advice...

Horrible man, that man pierced my nose twice and left my earring dirty, nothing about professionalism, but it was the pain that I endured, I was horribly disappointed.

Why did it go and Im not still busy, he called but he didnt answer the call.
