This piercing shop is amazing!! I went to Amanda and had a great experience. She is APP certified which was a great bonus and shows how seriously they take safety and cleanliness. My conch was so easy and has been doing so well so I went back for my rook. I got a little light headed from the pain but the girls took great care of me and made sure I was good to go. Cannot recommend them enough!! All the employees have been so friendly and helpful with questions etc. can’t wait for another piercing! Worth every penny

The crew at Carribbean Connection are fun and helpful! Amanda and really everyone there - are great at. making suggestions, using their experience and knowledge to guide you into solid decisions that wont leave you with regrets. I am now in my 50s, and shopped here in my youth, now returning with my 17 year old, for her piercings. Customer service is great, sterile environment, pricing is fair. Much better results here than you will get anywhere. Dont get tricked into getting a piercing pagoda.... even for simple lobe piercings. Start off right, and hit up the crew for your piercings. You wont regret it.

I took my 9 year old granddaughter here to get her ears pierced. She was very nervous and Caitlyn and Twist were both friendly and patient with her. The entire process was perfect! 10/10 would recommend!!

I got my eyebrow pierced here and it was over $120 for the actual piercing. never have i been somewhere so expensive for an eyebrow piercing. you’re sucked in with the cancellation fee so you’re forced to pay over $100 for your piercing since you have to pay separately for the jewelry. nowhere on the website does it say a set price for your piercing. my piercer was also 20 minutes late into my appointment. i will not be returning.

Id seen the good reviews for this shop, so I stopped in to get more information about their piercing process and costs. They were able to take me as a walk-in so I just got it done there & then. Ill definitely come back for future piercings! The staff was so friendly, patient, and professional. The environment was really sanitary, too. I was impressed and had a great overall experience. Amanda pierced me and she did a great job.

Highly recommend!! I’ve had a nose piercing stud for years and wanted to try something different. The girls working were super helpful and had a custom color made for me. They offered the piercer twist to put it in for me. Once I left I realized the size I bought was too big and wanted a different nose hoop. I came back and twist took my other one out and put the new one in and they didn’t charge me to replace my piercing at all, when I was fully expecting to pay for the new one. Patient and super sweet staff, I would recommend anyone. I wish I had gotten the girls working up fronts names because they helped me just as much!!

Absolutely amazing, caring staff. They didn’t rush me through my indecisiveness, and just kindly opened and reopened the display case for me to look at an endless variety of choices for my piercings.Amanda pierced my ears and I cannot recommend her enough! She was kind and took her time, preparing me by showing me where the piercings would be placed and asking for my input before she made it permanent. I brought my 11-month-old daughter to get her ears pierced and had the best experience! The inside of the studio/store is beautiful, updated, & clean. Amanda did the piercing and we had another staff member helping to keep our daughter still. They were both SO wonderful with her and made us feel at ease the entire time. 10/10 recommend for any piercing, especially for babies.

Great experience with my 5 year old! Amanda did her piercings and she was patient and gentle! The place is super clean and everyone was very inviting and nice. Definitely coming back & would highly recommend for toddler piercings!

This is a really nice place and Ben our piercing guy was a hilarious person and made the experience easy. So, why am I only giving 2 stars? Because we were never told the price of the actual piercing, we were just told the price of the jewelry. We were initially going to another shop that only charged $40 for the entire thing but we were referred by another Tattoo Artist from another shop closer to home and he said Caribbean Connections was much cleaner and nicer. This was my daughter and I first experience with piercings so I figured that the price of the jewelry was also the price of the piercing because all the places I checked did the same. Boy was I wrong when the lady at the counter said the price of $208. You guys have got to do better explaining pricing instead of only telling customers about how much the jewelry is, never mentioning the piercing. My 16 year old tried to treat me on her birthday with her first check only expecting to pay $90, only for me to end up having to split the bill with her. Her feelings were so hurt on her birthday because we got ripped off. Other than that, the place was really nice inside.

A fellow mom and I made appointments to have our girls ears pierced (4 girls total). We made our appointments separately, her by phone and I made mine online. Neither of us were made aware that the jewelry was not included in the price of the piercing. The jewelry is SUPER expensive!! We ended up paying ~$400 EACH ($800 total) for little girls to have their ears pierced. It would be so helpful if you posted this, including the estimated price of jewelry, ALL OVER your piercing website. We felt TRAPPED once we were there with all of our girls, who we had been psyching up all week to have this done.On a separate note, AMANDA was AMAZING with the girls. I would recommend her just need to improve the cost information presented ahead of time.

Got my belly button pierced here when i was 18. They did a pretty good job. Then a couple years ago, I got a piercing, idr which one it was, but i do remember not liking how they did it so i took it out & swore not to come back. Then a couple months ago i went in to go get my medusa repierced & my septum pierced. The septum piercing is amazing, so I‘ll give them that. However the medusa is slanted & crooked. Its a struggle to change the jewelry & I‘ll be damned if im going to pay them extra to change jewelry for something they messed up. If im honest, the only reason i decided to even consider giving them a second chance was bc my mom got me a gift card for Christmas & i didnt want to waste it. Big mistake. I‘ll 100% be sticking with my regular piercer from now on 🤦🏼‍♀️

Very happy with my new snake from Baile. I noticed during our consultation appointment how organized and professional she was, taking notes and keeping the refrence photos all in the same place on her ipad. She was upfront with the price as well. She is a very talented artist and is doing a wonderful job representing women in a male-dominated industry. Also, the rest of the staff are very friendly and knowlegeable about thier merchandise in store. I definitely reccomend this shop and trusting Baile with creating beautiful art for you.

The best place to create relationships with the employees and the service is wonderful, the employees, the tattoo artists, and piercers will take the best care of you. Connor did an excellent job with my “get what you get” tattoo! I love his American traditional style and his line work is flawless. Lily did my nostril piercing and really took the time to educate me about the process and after-care and she explained to me exactly what was happening to minimize anxiety. Thank you CC!

I recently got a peircing done and I have nothing but good things to say about Carribean connection!! The staff was welcoming and kind, my peircer Amanda was gentle and treated me super well. I love how my peircing turned out, I will always reccomend Carribean connection!!

**UPDATE**The owner, Greg, called me personally to rectify. He was super apologetic about the situation and offered solutions. Very thankful for a small business owner who still takes ownership and accountability. Thank you for your time Greg!What a waste of time. We made the appointment last Friday on their website for this Monday. We put in the notes that it was for an 8 month old. We even called on Saturday to move the time up an hour due to other commitments. We showed up today 1/29 for our appointment time only to be greeted with “we tried to call to reschedule, but our piercer who pierces babies is not in today”. We verified the number they were calling and went through the call log to find that we had not received a single call from them.We drove over an hour each way to get her ears pierced and all we could be told was “sorry, we can reschedule”. Despite showing the front desk that we had no missed calls from them, there was no offer to rectify. If there was truly an attempt to connect, you would think that a voicemail, email, or text could have been sent as well OR just informing us of the issue when we called them on Saturday but not a single actual attempt was made. Disappointing.

Took our baby girl to get her ears pierced, I was very nervous but the girls there were so helpful and reassuring. So clean inside and felt very comfortable. Amanda did incredible and was so patient with her! Would recommend to anyone looking to get their littles ears pierced!

The 4 stars is only for the pricing. The pricing was pretty high for the piercing and the jewelry. There is no pricing anywhere for the jewelry so youre not hit with the price tag until check out and then your forced to pay. I think transparency on the pricing would really go a long way. With inflation, it is not surprising their prices are a bit high but, it should not be a $115 for a basic nostril piercing.That being said, Amanda was amazing! She was so quick and pleasant. I was seen about 15-20 minutes past my appointment time but, she was helping other people and helped us all quickly so, I really do appreciate that. It was not super painful and she explained how to take care of it. She did a great job. This was a birthday gift to myself and she made it a great experience. The women at the front desk were very pleasant as well. Only reason I may not go back for further piercings is the inflated price tag but, I will go back for the adjustment she recommended.

I’m a frequent customer at Carribean Connection mainly because of the women who work here. Their customer service is top tier. Not only are they helpful and kind, they’re also extremely friendly. I love to hang around the shop because it’s good vibes ALWAYS. 10/10 experience everytime. 🫵🏻❤️

Amanda is seriously the best! I had a jewelry change out with her for my industrial and she was honest about some complications I was having with my piercing(I had it pierced at a different place). She gave me excellent advice and helped ease my anxiety by following up with me via instagram dm. I have visited since to get my naval changed and it was a fantastic experience once again!

Lilly did an amazing job piercing my nose. She was very thorough in discussing the process and the aftercare for the piercing. The studio was very clean. Bailey did a great job on the tattoo and my daughter is very happy with itSeveral weeks prior to our trip to FL, I reached out to schedule the tatto. I was quoted a price range based on the image I submitted. I wrongly assumed the final cost would be dependent on the time spent needle to skin (as is my own tattooists policy). My daughters tattoo was completed in 15-20 minutes. Time was spent fine tuning the design before hand, but we were still in and out of the shop in less than one hour.I understand a minimum charge, however we were ultimately charged the high end of the estimate, which caught me off guard.I take responsibility for not confirming the final cost ahead of time, but honestly thought based on the tattoo, we would be the low end of the estimate.

My daughter had her ears pierced for the first time with Lily. She was very nervous and Lily was very thorough in explaining the process to her. When my daughter felt lightheaded and dizzy afterward, Lily, along with the rest of the staff, immediately sprang into action, bringing her water, food, wet cloths and a fan. They went above and beyond in ensuring she felt fine before we left. Great customer service!

Santana does beautiful work!! I wanted a scar covered and he drew a beautiful tattoo that looks perfect. He was professional and cared about how it was going to look as much as I did. I will be back for sure! Thank you Santana!!

I meant to write this review when I went to Carribbean Connection about a month ago and forgot.I originally went to get my nose re-pierced by Lily but it didnt need re-piercing it just needed to be stretched and another ring put in. Lily was amazing!!! She was so gentle and kind. Kept asking if I was ok and if I needed a break and she really meant it. She was great at her job! I went back a couple weeks ago to get the jewelry changed and thankfully she was there again and changed it out for me. Again, she was so sweet and kind and gave her honest opinion of what I should get etc..**Would also like to give a shout out to all the girls who work up front also. They were ALL so nice and helpful and never made me feel weird or uncomfortable being older and in there shopping for body jewelry. Truly I great staff from everyone I dealt with. They really have something special going on there with the great people they employ! Will be back for sure!- Sara

Came in to get my septum put back in after taking it out, they told me it had closed and i had to get it repierced, they barely tried and wanted me to just pay to get it repierced, when i got home i finally got it in myself. Horrible experience.

Piercing jewelry costs more than the piercing itself.No pricing for jewelry is listed anywhere, so youre $20 trapped into paying $100+ for a simple piercing because cancelling has a fee and they only tell you the jewelry price while you wait theres for hours while workers mingle half the time.You cannot use your own jewelry either, $80+ for jewelry is absolutely insane, especially when youre already paying a min of $50-$60 to get pierced alone.Not to mention the workers use their time to chat with eachother while customers wait there for hours.Including pricing for the jewelry itself on their website wouldve been nice, going here feels like a scam.

Didn’t pass the vibe check. Spontaneously walked in since I was looking for a piercer in the area . Nice looking place . Wasn’t greeted when I walked in but was checkin out the place since I love skates. 2 min later 2 white ladies walked in and were instantly greeted with bubbly customer service. So I left . Glad to know where I’m not welcomed.

This was my first time visiting Caribbean Connection. I chose to use them after the wonderful reviews and comments about them on social media. I’m a big baby and this staff could not have been any kinder!! I booked an appointment ahead of time with Lily. She was very sweet and super knowledgeable.. I needed all the info being that this was my first major piercing. Lily walked me through step by step and assured me the whole time that I would be just fine. She truly made it such a easy process and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Can’t wait to go back in April for a new stud. Thanks again!!

Amanda was great with my piecing. Walked me through all the steps and was very thorough with the process and explaining all the aftercare. She even helped re-open my cartilage piecing that had come out years ago. Will defiantly be coming here for all my future piercings.

We had an appointment for my daughter’s second piercing and had an amazing experience! We were greeted as soon as we entered by Emma. Emma was very energetic and extremely helpful. The store had a fabulous vibe and the customer service was outstanding. Lilly, our piercing specialist, was informative and walked us through the process. We loved our experience!

I got tandem nipples piercings by Lily and Amanda. Highly recommend them both! I was super nervous despite having 11 other piercings. They walked me though everything and answered all my questions nonjudgementally. I was very comfortable and relaxed and the pain was maybe a 5/10 great job girls! Ill be coming back to decorate my ear some more soon!Not sure of the front desk staffs names but they were amazing. I came in a week prior to pick out gorgeous gold and opal jewelry to get pierced with. Love that the shop doesnt just have silver starters :)

From the moment I walked in Caribbean Connection I loved it. The women that work there are so nice and I felt zero judgment from anyone. It can be a little overwhelming going to a new piercing/tattoo spot. But All the ladies were wonderful!!!I I went in and had my nipples pierced by Lily. I have gotten a couple of my piercings from lily and she always does such an amazing job!! She always lets me know everything she is doing so I’m more comfortable and is so sweet. The employees that work there are so awesome and such a great team.

Perfect, professional, and clean! We took our 4yo here to get her earlobes pierced and it was the best experience I could have hoped for! The piercer, Cody, was so good with my daughter! He explained the whole process and showed her everything. He engaged her and did an excellent job with her ears. She is very pleased and there were no tears! I really appreciated the cleanliness of this shop, the level of professionalism everyone in the shop had while working with my daughter (there were two awesome women who helped us out when we came in and got all the paperwork out of the way), and the consideration the staff here takes to ensure that this the child’s choice when working with minors.

Phenomenal job! Got both a tattoo and 4 piercings done today. Nolan did a wonderful job of taking my tattoo design and incorporating his style with my original idea. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through the design decisions very well. Throughout the tattoo process he was very attentive, and made sure that the environment was comfortable. He made great small talk (a welcome distraction! He had some great stories to share.) and realized I was light headed before I even did. His prices are fair and he really does take his time so it turns out perfect! I love my new piece! In regards to my piercings, I was pierced by the piercing apprentice (I believe her name was Maren?) who was very gentle and thorough. She was such a sweetheart and did a great job walking me through the piercing process. (I have been pierced by the main piercer, Cody, before and can say the same for him). All in all, great experience and I can’t wait for the next time!

Update: Stopped in the shop again. Lily is fantastic and if I could rate five stars again, I would.Went in to get my nose ring changed and I was so impressed! It’s the cleanest place with the most amazing little shop attached to it. On top of that, the staff was incredibly kind. This will be the only place I go from now on!

I’ve been contemplating for years to have a daith piercing due to migraines, so I was researching who could do it professionally? I was skeptical and worried about the ”what-ifs” thinking about the length of time of the procedure. My husband took me to this place to look around and observed. It’s the cleanliness, professionalism, and excellent customer service that made me make the appointment. The owner/manager explained and showed their wide variety of jewelry to choose from based on what I wanted to accomplish, and he suggested the type of jewelry that would fit my needs. Today I finally did it, and not only that, I got my nose pierced done as well. Cody did an amazing job- he’s courteous and professional; indeed, recommendable. It turned-out really well. Went for piercings and Cody the piercer does an amazing job guiding you through it all. Gives you amazing advice on aftercare and the prices on it all dont break the wallet. Definitely recommend! Great selection on piercings as well. Havent gone for tattoos yet but its in the plans! Shop is very clean and amazing service!!

Went in last Friday to get my helix pierced with my friend who has gotten multiple piercings done by them and had a great experience. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Cody was super patient and nice, even though he was busy and had many customers waiting. I was scared but he reassured me and I am very satisfied with the results. Will definitely be going back here for all future piercings!

The only thing I can say is WOW!! I got my nose pierced a few months ago and recently had a hoop put in by another piercer. I’m not going to put her on blast because that’s not why I’m hear.The ladies at Caribbean connections are so sweet and so patient in answering all your questions. The experience here is beyond amazing. My best friend and I went in today to get our tragus pierced and as soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by 3 friendly young ladies. They provided awesome customer service. Cody did the piercing and he was awesome. Cody kept us informed on the entire process, never got frustrated with all of our questions and was very gentle in piercing us. We both are definitely going to return and refer friends and family. I wish I could rate you all a 10. Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!!

Hands down most amazing tattoo shop Ive ever been to. Ive been to shops in California, Mississippi, Virginia & now Florida; I have 12 tattoos so Ive had my fair share of good & bad experiences with shops. The staff is so amazing and super friendly. They offer a wide variety of products and services; which is always a plus. I was there on a busy day and they made my wait as accommodating as possible, and I can honestly say it was worth the wait. Derek Farrow was the artist that did my tattoo and his work is phenomenal! Super clean lines, very professional and extremely talented! All of the staff I interacted with in the shop were great, I really wish I lived in Florida so I would never have to go to another place to get a tattoo. I would recommend this place to anyone, without a doubt an amazing team. The vibe they put off is great, they were all so professional and great. Thank you guys!

I just got my nose piercing changed out and it sadly fell out so I went here and they were so fast to help me and put in a new one it took like 5 minutes and it was done, wasn’t painful at all and it looks great! Amanda made sure to make sure it was on tight so it wouldn’t fall out. So happy with her service

I went to get my daith pierced, the ladies at the front desk were so helpful on helping me pick my jewerly piece and answering all my questions.Lily did my piercing, she was amazing! She walked me through every step, how to care for it and even gave me pointers on how to sleep since Im a side sleeper. This is it for me, Ill be coming here for all my piercings in the future.

Went in for a matching conch piercing with my daughter and brought a friend to get her daith done. The piercing staff is so professional and warm and welcoming and knowledgeable they put you at ease immediately. Marin did all 3 piercings and let me just say Ive had my fair share of piercings and she is amazing. You can tell she really loves what she does and wants you to love it too. She is so calming and patient. Might have to get more decorations from her soon!

You pay more but it’s for all the right reasons. True sterile techniques with piercings and excellent knowledge and care. They don’t use piercing guns but use proper piercing tools. 100% encourage you to pay the extra and go here.

Ive only used them for piercings but would come for a tattoo, absolutely. For piercings, whether its your first or your thirtieth - I cant say enough about everyone and especially Cody, their piercer. The jewelry options are high quality and across varying price ranges plus theyll take the time to pair you with the right size based on your unique needs, i.e. cartilage size, etc. From there, they have a streamlined consent form process, walk you through after care and provide documentation and then have your selected jewelry fully sanitized. And finally, for the piercing - Cody is just the best piercer Ive ever had. Hes professional, will not rush you at all and fully walks you through what hes doing - whether its marking the spot, letting you review and then hell tell you hes lined up but let you make the call when youre ready to go. He just really puts you at ease and never rushed even if theres a crowd waiting. Follow-up appointments are also awesome and hes a great help to change out jewelry. I wont get pierced anywhere else.

Very disappointed. Called ahead to make sure they could do the piercing my son wanted. Let the person on the phone know I was on the way. Drove 40 minutes to the shop only for them to tell me they were unavailable until 4pm three hours later. I think the worst part was my child was disappointed.

Their piercer, Cody, was fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable about piercings and answered all of my questions. He was very patient and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and prepared for the needle before proceeding with the piercings. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a piercer.

I got a double helix piercing with Kelly and she did an incredible job - she answered all my questions, made sure to sterilize her equipment and efficient and professional. The ladies were really sweet and attentive, both with me and other clients coming in. The piercing was quick and easy, I was in and out in 20 mins. I won’t go anywhere else for my next one!

This was a very disappointing visit. My daughter and I both had our nose pierced by Cody about 2 years ago. He was so professional and very calming for first timers like ourselves. When we decided we needed new jewelry we knew exactly where we wanted to go. We traveled over an hour to get there and as soon as we stepped in the door we were stopped dead in our tracks by an employee. She asked How can I help you? Which is a normal question but to be stopped right at the door seemed intrusive. I told her I needed to get new jewelry and asked if I could get help putting it in. She said yes but we would have to wait 4 hours! We had a toddler with us so this was not an option. I told her how long we traveled to get here and if they could fit us in between piercings. She replied, No sorry then walked off. With that we left. We headed back home and decided to stop at a local piercing shop. We ended up spending over $200.00 in new jewelry and they were more than happy to help me put the jewelry in. It literally took 3 minutes tops! Ive been in sales for many years and to me this was very bad business.

Me and my daughter came here for our piercings. This was the spur of the moment thing as we were on vacation from Atlanta. Read the reviews and decided to come here. My daughter had her tongue pierced before and Cody, checked to see if piecing was still open and it was. They were honest which they could have charged her the whole fee. I on the other hand got my nipples pierced at the ripe age of 41. Lol. Cody was amazing and it was not the pain I anticipated. They are healing nicely and I love my piercings. I recommend.....

Ive had multiple horrible experiences with this business but I’ve always come back for Cody. He’s gone now though so let’s be honest. The staff is so unprofessional and disrespectful. I once went in for a colored tattoo and the tattoo artist lectured me for 30 minutes about why people of color (which I am) should never get colored tattoos because of how bad it looks and ages on our skin. I actually have multiple colored tattoos. There was another time I called ahead to make an appointment for a 2min procedure with Cody and when I got there they made me wait over an hour to see him and let multiple walk-ins go ahead of me! Four people behind the counter and they can’t honor my appointment? The place is cute but the staff is consistently disrespectful.

Lily did my rook and my second hole for my lobes. It looks amazing and she was so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process! Emma was helpful as well at the front desk helping me with jewelry selections.

I went to CC to get an estimate for having a half sleeve or 3/4 sleeve done. I went in and presented a basic idea to Jarvis and he seemed to understand what I wanted. We started a short time later and even though I gave him a general idea of what I wanted, he seemed to grasp my idea very well. We started with one lower arm section, waited a few weeks for healing and then went to stage 2, then 3, and are continuing. I have had tattoos done at multiple shops over the years, and this has been the first time that I felt comfortable with what I was getting compared to what I wanted. He has been nothing but professional and always confirms the idea before he starts to ensure nothing has changed. I did not fully understand the amount of work, time, and money that goes into something this big, but with his help, I have actually been looking forward to spending more money on my sleeve. Everywhere I go I receive compliments ( like I did much at all) and people engage in conversation around it. I appreciate his care and preparation and look forward to finishing over the next month or so. Thanks Sir!

Caribbean connection used to be a comfort place for me until recently. I’ve noticed the customer service has changed as a whole and it genuinely makes me sad. The other day I went in as a walk-in customer with two of my other friends. We picked up a couple items from the shop like shorts and shirts when I decided I wanted to change out my conch piercing. I told the ladies at the desk that I wanted a new piece for that piercing because the bar was too long and they immediately showed me to the $300+ jewelry. I understand that they’re trying to make money and I was okay with the pushiness at first until I told them I wanted a titanium piece for now and would hopefully invest in a more expensive hoop once it was fully healed. The blonde girl with tattoos (cosette I believe) was the one helping me and I noticed her whole demeanor changed when I told her I wanted the cheaper option. Again, I didn’t think much of it because I understand she’s just trying to do her job. I decided to go with the titanium bar and when she went to tell the piercer (Amanda?) that I had gone with the cheaper option, Amanda loudly said “BRUH” and they continued to be frustrated with my choice of jewelry. I ended up walking out before I could get anything done because I was embarrassed and frustrated.

If every establishment could have the level of customer service Caribbean connection has, the world would be a better place. Ive had the best experiences every time Ive been, whether it was for a jewelry change or a new piercing. Cody (the piercer) is fast, comforting, and very knowledgeable in his trade. I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else for piercings or body jewelry.

Ive been coming to Carribbean Connection for years and it never ceases to amaze me how great the service is. I brought a friend in from out of town to get a piercing (that I cant spell or pronounce) and she couldnt have had a more enjoyable, professional experience. I just got my arm tattooed by Nathan and I couldnt be happier. Great guy and very professional. I will be returning for sure. The shop just had a bunch of renovations and it looks great on the inside. It has a great vibe and staff to help you look through their collection of clothes, shoes, jewelry etc.... Also the owner really takes interest in customer satisfaction. Easy 5 stars and recommended to everyone I talk too.

When I came into the shop I had made an appointment for a daith piercing with Kelly. This was my first time going to her and from speaking with her she seemed very experienced. I had my daith pierced in may and fast forward to august the piercing is doing terribly. There are two huge bumps formed and it seems I was sized with jewelry that was too large for my ear. When I went to another piercer to have it checked they said she incorrectly pierced the daith in way too far in my ear causing the infection on both the entrance and exit points. I have been pierced multiple times and have never had issues with piercings and never had infections. I even went to a second piercer after to get another opinion and said this might be a piercing that was done too far in my ear and will take longer to heal than the usual 9-12 months. Because of the placement, both piercers said I might not be able to wear a lot of daith Jewelry and one even recommended taking it out. Super disappointed in the piercer, I went to Caribbean because of their reputation but the quality of the work seems to have declined. I know two other people who have formed keloids after getting their rook and nose pierced. After doing further research, this piercer is not APP certified and do not feel comfortable going here again. I’m sure if you want a simple lobe piercing it would be hard to mess up- for anything else go somewhere else in town!

I called in to make sure there were times available for the Friday the 13th appointments tomorrow and was told that there were many free slots available, so then I tried to hold an appointment and pay for it a day in advance, and I also said I would be in, in five minutes from when I called them but as stated on the call “ oh you don’t need to hold an appointment over the phone there are plenty of free slots just come in and set an appointment and pick out your tattoo.” I said OK see you soon but when I walked in after driving out to them they said all of our appointments have been booked. Even though I just spoke to them on the phone no less than 10 minutes before hand. i have been going here for the past 4 years. but after this terrible experience i will never recommend them to anyone and i’m never coming here again.

Went there after my daughters initial plan fell through, due to the other artist being booked for two weeks. Glad we found Carribbean Connection though. The atmosphere is very relaxed and everyone was nice. Jarvis did an excellent job with her tatoo and she is happy with the results. She has been properly using the aftercare instructions she was given and now it is beginning to scab

I got my nose pierced hear and they pierced the hole too big for the piercing so it went straight through my nose that night. I went back and they “fixed” it. Later that night IT WENT THROUGH MY NOSE AGAIN!! I ended up just going to a different piercing place and they were so nice and understanding and actually did it right. 10/10 do not recommend.

Came for a piercing with a friend, Cody did a great job! Very knowledgeable and gentle. Came back for a tattoo walk in and was greeted by Jarvis, who acted like we were inconveniencing him. Not my first tattoo and didn’t think we acting poorly towards him, but both myself and my friend felt very uncomfortable with the way he acted. We left because we didn’t want to stay and feel uncomfortable. Jarvis followed us into the parking lot, extremely EXTREMELY uncomfortable experience for both of us, will not be back.

Their piercer is a friendly and very knowledgeable guy. It’s an accepting environment and you can ask as many questions as you want. They are willing to accommodate to quite an extent, they even did some mild price matching. If you want a piercing in Jacksonville, definitely go here.

Went here for my last two piercings. My Nostril back in 2015 and a few months ago my Septum. Both times an awesome expierience. Super professional piercers and very clean shop who only use high quality jewlery. I live about an hour away and it is 100% worth the drive. I will certainly be back for my future piercings.

Got my belly button pierced by amanda in dec 2021 and my nostril pierced by lily yesterday. they’re both super nice and I had great experiences with both of them. they both made sure I had to info I needed and talked me through the process which was a huge help. definitely recommend both of them and carribbean overall :) and angelina was super helpful when it came to picking out the jewelry

A while ago I went to get my Christina pierced here. Cody was so professional and so so helpful in the week that followed. (I called at least once a day and went in three times with concerns Id managed to make up in my head). If I remember correctly they had a huge selection of jewelry to choose from. Unfortunately theyve since remodeled and have decreased their selection by like 85%. I recently got my nipples pierced and went in looking for pretty rings and they had two to choose from. Really disappointing. Cody is 10/10 though for sure.

Im on vacation and lost my flat jewerly. I came in to purchase a replacement. They had a wide selection and I was able to find a comprable piece. Workers were super friendly and helped me change the jewerly. If I lived in the area Id come back to get new pieces, as shops close to me dont have of wide of a selection!

Jarvis did a tattoo for me about a week or so ago and he was excellent. He made sure the font and lettering style and spacing for the quote that I got tattooed was exactly how I wanted it, and was available for questions before hand by text and scheduled the appt time for me to come in.We started right on time and he was ready to go with the stencil ready before I got there. I am 10 out of 10 happy with the tattoo and the whole process. Super clean and chill environment and prices were reasonable.Ask for Jarvis for your next ink.

While at first I was super disappointed and pretty angry with my experience of having to be pierced twice and then my nose jewelry falling out, Greg called me and made it right by setting me up with an appointment with their master piercer to get checked out and decide the best course of action after I had to put new jewelry in after only 4 days. While I would not prefer Marin again as my piercing artist there ever again, the customer service to make it right was good and I have changed my review to reflect as such. I cant give 5 stars due to my very angry nose however this is the only piercing Ive had issues with from this location so I do believe a 2nd chance is due.

I have been getting my piercings done here since 2019 and every time I had to go see Cody the Piercer, pre-COVID, I never had an issue getting in and out. Since they went to appointments only it has been a total nightmare. They will set you up for an appointment and you find yourself waiting almost an hour because Cody is not in the shop, he left for whatever reason (they only have one piercer btw). To me, it make sense to have time built in the appointment schedule for this kind of thing, not set appointments and the piercer is either running late or whatever excuse they choose to give at this time. I had this issue TWICE, once on Thursday October 8th after waiting over an hour and then today he finally showed up 50 minutes AFTER the appointment start time. I recommend they get a handle on their appointments and space them out so that customers are not waiting over an hour for a piercing or a simple post change.

The reason for the 1 star is not because of the service or the piercer not being super nice. It was because he tore my piercing up and ruined my $50 nipple ring. I appreciate the fact that the service was free only a tip but, I guess I got what I paid for. Please just be very mindful when going here for this service. My ring is scratched up and bent and my nipple bled for two days. Like I said the service was super nice the people were very nice but, its not worth it if they do not do a good job and ruin a expensive piece of jewelry.

Super cute clothing, shoes, jewelry etc. Got a second ear piercing for my daughter, and the piercer was initially missing, but he showed back up in about 20 minutes. He was obviously skilled and worked quickly but explained everything every step of the way. He made super sure the holes were even and let my daughter check the placement before piercing. She said it didnt even hurt.

My sister got her nose pierced for the first time here. Our first time here. Walk ins are welcomed. They were opened at 11am not 12pm like some places and the piercer was already there which was convenient for us. Was fun experience and def go again. Clean, friendly informative staff and professional. They have tattoos, piercings, shoes, jewelry, bookbags, vans and converse shoes and other accessories. Parking is in the back which was a little tight.

They advertise a lifetime guarantee on tattoos, which is a total lie. Plus the artists aren’t good enough to fix their own mistakes. Not to mention, you can’t make a tattoo appointment unless you’re there and they will give away your time if someone else comes in after you wanting something worth more money - happened to me twice. I say avoid 100%.

I have been in Jacksonville for approximately 6 months for work and have been going and seeing Nate Cox for 8 different sittings so far within the last 3 of those months. The professionalism, dedication and expertise are exceptional. He did both freehand lettering and stencil work and has great range form black and grey shading to colour realism.To top that all off he is backed by a great team at Carribean Connection from both the sales staff and the other tattoo artists. I would highly recommend a tattoo from either Nate or Kayla as i have seen both of their work

I happened to do a walk in and was taken cared by Kayla who was amazing. She took my design and made smart adjustsments with my permission and in an hour I had gotten my first tattoo! She was incredible and without a doubt coming back for more from her.

Ive gotten 2 piercings from there, both have gotten infected even after following all cleaning instructions for longer than the suggested time... Ive had many piercings and none of my others have gotten infected. When i got my daith a few months back, i dont remember her name, but she pierced it once, told me she didnt get a good angle, pulled out the new piercing and then repierced it, so that was a huge turn off and for that alone, my chances of going back are slim to none...

Ive been a friend and customer of the store for over a decade........Ive purchased tickets there...Ive been tattooed and pierced there....picked up some of my favorite tees there. Ive made countless friends there and even fell in love there. As important as this place seems to be to me, that influence personally only pales in comparison to the influence this unique little shop has had positively on the community of Jacksonville Beach. One of the places you have to visit if you are in Jax Beach or you are missing something for sure.

This place has always been a local favorite and well liked in the beaches community. I recently went there to get a tattoo with my daughter who was leaving for Japan for 3 years and she wanted something special before leaving. We walked in told them what we wanted. We were approached by Jared who asked us to email him a picture of what we wanted, which we had prepared ahead of time. After sitting at the table for close to an hour watching Jared wonder around the store aimlessly, go in and the out the door numerous times without ever acknowledging us or giving us an update we walked out. I was super disappointed. I had very limited time while my daughter was home before leaving for 3 years to move to Japan as a Marine and this something she really wanted to do before leaving. It goes without saying my dissatisfaction was palpable.

Gave me the wrong size gauge for my piercing after getting it changed out. called and told them it was the wrong gauge but they told me it was correct. that is a lie because i compared the jewelry i had before and the jewelry they changed it out with and they are NOT the same size. a keloid formed on my nose now.

Jewelry was ok. My girlfriend and i went in there and usually its very pleasant. The tall woman who runs the counter was insanely rude to whom i believe was a new employee.Between, why are you looking at what im doing to why are you talking to me it was just utterly unprofessional. On top of that she sold my girlfriend a 40$ pair of plugs that were like 3mm too big. Which is very much a problem for your ears.They refused to return or exchange them even though we didnt use them. I understand the return policy for health. But she asked for a specific size and was given the wrong one.For the prices in here as high as they are, and to watch an empoyee just treat another employee like absolute garbage RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, i will never be coming back here.**update my ex and I who went here obviously wont be coming back. This review was done a long time ago, so I dont think you know what Im talking about, my experience was with two women who worked there. We tried to exchange them after we realized they gave us the wrong size just after we left the shop and they refused us multiple times.

Came in to get my philtrum post put back in after a dental appointment and the guy behind the counter claimed there was no piercer on duty. I have a gut feeling they just didnt want the bother replacing a piercing or maybe it was something else. I was hoping to like this place but I doubt Ill be coming back to the not so Caribbean Connection.

I have been here a few times with friends to get tattoos and have bought a few nose rings here. All the staff are always very helpful, especially when I lost my post for my neometal and was rushing to get in before closing.

Went in there to get my tongue pierced which was my first piercing and they explained everything to me about how it was gonna go, how the piercing feels, and aftercare. After 2 years of having it now I still tell people where I got it done because I was so pleased.

Very friendly, welcoming staff and very sanitary. I had to wait a while to get my piercing but they apologized and were polite about it.
