Black Label Tattoo & Piercing

I came in for some advice about a scar/cover-up a few weeks ago and spoke with Brandon about a few ideas I had. He was extremely helpful and gave me great advice about letting my scar heal a bit longer but that the ideas I had in mind would be no problem.I came back yesterday and met with Brandon who was just as stoked as me to start tattooing. He drew up a great stencil based on the famous painting “Under the Wave off Kanagawa.” Brandon went the extra mile for me making sure the tattoo was lined up perfectly. Putting my full trust in Brandon paid off entirely. I would highly recommend Brandon for any style of art or even for any general tattoo advice, the team has been nothing but friendly to me dropping by the shop.

May be a little sketchy on the outside But everybody was so sweet and kind. This is my all time favorite tattoo and I do have a multiple!!!!!! Brandon did amazing job I will definitely be back for more soon!

Me and my mom came here to get matching tattoos, everyone was so nice and very chill. We’re both very happy and satisfied with the work! 10/10 would recommend! Truly the only thing that threw us off was the price, it was 200 for two small ankle tattoos. No complaints tho, it was well worth it!

Charles, the owner, is my main tattooer and is always kind, funny, and insightful! I will go nowhere else for my tattoos and I have been going here for around two years! This was my first tattoo at age 56. Brandon was very polite and answered all my questions. I had some simple line art that my sons had drawn placed on my fore arm. He placed it exactly where I wanted it. It looks exactly like the art I gave him!!! When I look at the tattoo it seems to me that my sons drew it on me!!!! Wow! We had the best service and artist Brandon knocked it out of the park! My husband and I walked in, to check it out and ended up leaving with amazing new work! We were there long enough, we kind of got to know everyone who worked there and they were all top notch and so kind! We don’t live locally but will travel back to Black Label from now on!

I had been looking for an artist who works with fine line for a long time, and ended up coming across these guys with my friend. If I could give more than five stars they would get 10. Came here to get a second nose and belly ring for my birthday. Idk if the piercer was having a bad day or if he was just racist, but he was very unfriendly. I had to keep making conversation to talk my way through the nerves, but he was very uninterested in entertaining it. I noticed the whites that came in as I was checking out, he greeted with more energy and excitement. Very uncomfortable experience.

Charles was so amazing: I brought in my own artwork and he helped my vision come to life! This was my first tattoo so I was terrified, but he was super sweet and patient with me. This shop is super dope and I definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo!!

Charles was very respectful to me, had a stopwatch for the exact time he spent, he didnt count my breaks against me, played good music, had a good vibe in the shop, I paid 375 for my tat, and left a good tip.

Incredible tattoo experience! I’ve been to several different shops and this was by far one of the best experiences overall. I reached out for a booking on 1/8 and almost instantly got a reply from Charles and was scheduled for a custom piece on 1/10. Charles is a great guy and an amazing artist!

I found my favorite Tattoo Artis Brandon F. at Black Label Tattoo Shop off 3rd St. at Jax Beach with a walk in, doing something spontaneous. He was quick to jot down the idea I had, and while conversing I asked him if he could work with me on continuing a leg sleeve I had started a while back. He came up with an amazing sketch with creative freedom and putting his own spin on a couple ideas I bounced off of him. He’s very caring with his process and making sure you’re informed and set up with the healing process! I recommend him and all the other talented Tattoo artists and Piercers there as I’ve gotten a few different things done there. Very satisfied. Gladly will continue to choose them for all of my future work!

Went in while on a trip for a reminder tattoo. I didn’t get her name but the blonde girl was super chill, loved her, she helped me and my fiancé pick out some cute matching tattoos. Kalon was out artist and he did an awesome job for a simple turtle. Lol. Whole shop passed the vibe check. Had great laughs and joked a lot.

Brandon was amazing!! Every family vacation we walk into a tattoo parlor and get small tattoos just because. Out of all the tattoo places we have walked into Brandon was the best!!!! Thank you Brandon for saving my 30th birthday.We had plans to go to the hot air balloon festival on my birthday. The rain and the venue having no parking made those plans not possible. We drove from Tampa to go to the festival so it was a really big let down for us! We decided last minute at 8pm to see if we could go get small hot air balloon tattoos instead. Brandon told us if we could make it in 30 minutes he would do them for us! He was super professional and I loved his personality. His line work is amazing. I’m super happy with my piece. I couldn’t tell him thank you enough!

I recently was tattooed twice in 2 days by Charles. He is very professional, easy to talk to about what you want. Lets you know the pros and cons. Does absolutely incredible design work so you know right off what you will be getting.My best friend and I got matching tattoos on our feet. The next day I went back andand got a memorial tattoo for my beautiful husband of John Wayne.He drew it up and he did such a beautiful job I cant even believe it when I look at itreally took his time and was such a perfectionist. . . Unfortunately, I spent $100 on the tiniest, yet worst tattoo I have ever gotten. As a past client, I do not recommend going here for any simple dainty tattoos. However, the tattoo artist did look like he had done some great work in the past! Could have been a one time thing or just simply the design but mine turned out not the greatest :(

I have had many piercings, and I can honestly say this was the best piercing experience so far! Jeff was awesome, hands down the freakin best. Hes had 16 years of experience, was professional, fast, and so freakin nice! He pierced myself and three of my other friends while we were on vacation, and I can say the next time I want a piercing Ill wait until I end up in the area again. I was able to get an appointment right away for a simple tattoo. I met with Cassie, & showed her a drawing of what I was thinking of for my tat. This was important to me, as it was a tribute for my late niece. Cassie took my idea, polished it, & then gave me the design. It was great! Just what I wanted! She talked with me & learned about my precious niece while working on me. Shes very caring, yet professional. Im very pleased with the final creation! Ill be back to have more art done!

I’ve gotten two tattoos from Charles and I’m obsessed with them! He drew up exactly what I wanted and helped me find the best place to place my tattoo and knocked them out in no time! He’s quick, easy and creative, 110% recommend !

I was very disappointed honestly 😔 They do really great tattoos from what I researched online but we were misled. I inquired about a tattoo and gave details in my inquiry, I was told to come in and we will be taken care of. We get there and let them know we inquired about tattoos and was telling the conversation and what we inquired about, he cut me off and told me he needs a picture or something he cant just tattoo from what I wanted he needs something to work from. So we looked up a picture he told me 350 a piece. I told him I expected it to be pricey but not like that for what we wanted. I stated the prices started at $50 from what I saw online, (which was my mistake because it was a different shop I saw the price) He said for 8 letters it would be that. So we decided on just the date which is 6 numbers and 2 slash he quoted us a $100 a piece. So we just didnt get tattoos at that point he seemed he didnt want to service us. We drove an hour and it ended up being a blank trip for tattoos, but the upside we found a new tattoo shop that we will be getting our entire tattoos done. UPDATE: The business owner has now harassed me to take my review down because its bad business for his shop. There was back and forth between he and I. He went as far as saying he will slander my business because I wont take down an honest review. He is only making the unprofessionalism look worse for himself and his business. He thinks it was about $50 but it was the principle of how I felt we were handled at the shop. I dont mind paying for quality work and good attitude. Thats not what I received from him or his employee. I wouldnt even think twice about going there again to even see if I would receive a different experience from the messages I received from Charles as a business owner.

I got my septum pierced by Rosie, and it was the best experience I could have hoped for. The location was welcoming and clean. There was no wait. And Rosie was very kind and professional. Plus, my piercing looks awesome! I will definitely be a returning customer.

He is not only good with details, he visualizes and uses great imagination to help you figure out how to best use your ideas. I’m very OCD when it comes to my tattoos, as this is my SEVENTH tattoo. Not only did I get EXTREME ink blow out , but my lines are uneven. I was not happy with the turn out of my tattoo at all. It was washed daily, and applied ointment multiple times daily.Update: Owner has offered to fix the tattoo, but being 6-7 hrs away , I am unable to make that happen at the moment.

I have gotten multiple tattoos at this shop from Cody and every time I have been blown away by the finished project. The vibe is clean and calm and everything you’d hope for when visiting a tattoo parlor. HIGHLY recommend.

Me and my friend visited this shop not too long ago, when we were in FL. The artist was literally NODDING OUT while tattooing me, the tattoo turned out horrible. I had to literally yell at the artist and take a 30 minute break. I will NOT return and i suggest no one else does.
