Got my kids ears pierced here, the employees were incredible. They explained everything, and made certain my kid was comfortable every step of the way. I will definitely be bringing my other kids here if they decide to get their ears pierced.

Derek is awesome!My sister & I got 2 tattoos, one in honor of our mom who recently passed and a sisters tattoo.Derek was great in helping to design them!We used our moms signature from an old birthday card, which Derek mastered 😍I highly recommend him!!

Accepted me as a first time walk in, worked with me on a simple first piece, walked me through the entire process, and the piece came out better than I thought!

Ive been going here since 17 or 18. Ive loved every piece I come out of there with. Derek and Kim are fantastic people and artists. Thats my experience and my own opinion. Do with it what you will, but I recommend them

Instead of going to the typical Claire’s for ear piercings we went to Mr. Hyde’s Tattoo Emporium! They had wonderful reviews from other mothers and I’m so glad we made the decision to go there. They were AMAZING with her! The place was not scary or inappropriate. It was clean, they were professional, and the woman made sure my seven year old was at ease and comfortable the entire time, not to mention that she made sure the piercings were perfectly even! My daughter even got a certificate and some temporary tattoos, too! She’s over the moon! What a great experience! We would highly recommend them!

Very considerate of what his clients want, and makes professional suggestions, he was able to get me in on a super short notice being my only day off, got exactly what I wanted at a price that was completely reasonable! With it being harder to find a new artist to go to from now on, I found mine today. I will definitely be coming back for all my future work.

Honestly Derek is the best artist I have been to. He does amazing work and is very reasonable in price. I have never seen him be rude or try to tell anyone that they are wrong for what ever they are getting at his shop. I would recommend them to anyone. So if your looking for a great place to get some amazing artwork or a piercing this is the place to go and you should ignore the trolls that are leaving reviews.

I had such a good experience here!! I got my first tattoo on my 18th birthday and my mom got a matching one! they were so quick with tattooing us. They were very clean and they were so nice. provided lots of information about a tattoo. I highly recommend coming here!

Derek is very resonable and a great artist. He is also professional and cares about his customers. I recently had piercings done by him and was having trouble with them. He drove all the way from the Lake for a consult and changed out the jewerly for me. Thanks again for the awesome service and good luck with the shop at the Lake!!!

Derek did an amazing job on the lotus on my thigh, made sure I was comfortable, got what I wanted, and it looks freaking AWESOME!! He even agreed to do the tattoo even though it was almost 11 when we were done. Thanks Derek, will definitely be back!!

I took my five year old daughter to get her ears pierced. She has massive anxiety when we got there.People....He. Was. AMAZING. It took about 35 minuets for her to decide to acctually do it,and he waited so patiently. I dont have enough space to tell you how great the experience was. The facility was spotless, everyone was wonderful. I will DEFINITELY go back and recommend him to anyone.

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had in a tattoo shop. The owner is very crude and rude and will completely rip you off. He will charge you a $20 deposit and then schedule you for 3 to 4 days out and if you cancel with plenty of notice he will then tell you that your $20 is non-refundable but I guess he has to make his money somehow since his work is so shity this place is a complete joke and I would never recommend it to anybody I know looking to get a good tattoo

Ive been seeing alot of Derrick and his work at Mr Hydes. Ive known him for quite awhile, but Ive never had him ink my skin. I tell you what. Very good atmosphere for any of his work. As of now, Ive got the greatest INK ever. He very courteous and and a great friend. I will be going back, over any tattoo artist I know. He is so good that he wants to and I want to enter this ink in competition. If anyone has doubts, just throw that out the window. The shop is clean and sterile with great humorous attitude. Just go to. Mr Hydes and you will not regret. Thanks Derrick and of course Kim as well. I know this shop will get BIGGER and BETTER reviews when you all get on down to MR. HYDES TATTOO EMPORIUM. Ive got 3 tatts by 3 diff artists dereks has gotten the most complements on it. It seems to be a conversation piece. I had also gotten my eye brow pierced twice didnt work not his or my fault. Just didnt workHes wonderful at answering questions before getting to work on you. Just all round great shop is clean biz is done well wont go no where else long as hes open!!!

Very clean, understanding, and professional! I had complications with piercings (that I got done elsewhere) and they were more than happy to help me get them changed out so I can properly heal. 100% recommend.

We went for my 7 year olds ear piercing. Good value, very professional, knew what they were doing and made my daughter feel very comfortable.

They knew they would need two people for a girls ear piercing. They were patient, supportive and kind. The place was clean. Everyone was friendly.
