These Colors Dont Run Tattoo & Piercing

This is probably the most relaxed, comfortable, welcoming, and family friendly tattoo shop I have ever been to! I went to see John about getting a tattoo for my Granni who passed away last year. I gave him the basic idea of what I was wanting, and he went above and beyond to give me the perfect tribute to her! It’s beautiful and includes her actual handwriting both by itself and incorporated into the grasshopper design! I could not have asked for a better artist and tattoo experience!John and Deb both are absolutely incredible people! The atmosphere in the shop is just so relaxed and friendly. My kids even loved being there too. My husband and son played pool and hung out up front, and my daughter was coloring in her tattoo design coloring book. She showed some of what she’s already done to John and he sat and talked with her, and showed her an app that she can use to create even more artwork. I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else for tattoos after this experience because the artwork is incredible and the shop really feels like home!Thank y’all for everything and we will definitely be back for more! 💜

Went to their regrand opening and talked with Mr John. Setting up the appointment was super easy and fast. When it came to picking the tattoo, John thought my choice was awesome the amount of detail he was able to put into this tattoo is amazing. It turned out way better then I figured it would. I will be going back for more ink ASAP.

I have been to TCDR 6 times to have tattoos and piercings done. Each time I have been treated with respect and kindness. They walked me through my first tattoo and piercings very thoroughly. They go at my own pace to make sure I’m okay but also get the job done at a timely manner. They also walked me through the after care very thoroughly and provided an after care paper for tattoos and piercings. I can gladly say I will use TCDR again!

TCDR is incredible. I first went in for my piercing. They are so clean and so welcoming! i requested the backing to be bigger for swelling and she was so kind about it and told me to come in when it healed.i came back in to get it swapped no problem! I asked about a tattoo I was wanting for my family and they offered to do it since it was small! They did an amazing job! And i am so giddy about it! He drew exactly how I wanted. You won’t be disappointed!

Very responsive to any questions, quotes, or just information in general. I originally came for a bestie tattoo and ended up coming back less than a week later for a piercing. The shop has very good vibes, owners seem to really care about their clients!

From the moment I contacted them to the point of getting my tattoo John and Deb were amazing. They answered my questions made me feel comfortable. They made sure I got exactly what I wanted. My baby feet’s means the world to me and could not have asked for a better outcome. John added his own creative spin on it which is exactly what I wanted. Now I have a beautiful tattoo and meet such amazing people and definitely will be returning for more tattoos and possibly peircing in the future. My first day going to them I spent 5 hours there and got a 30 minute tattoo. They immediately “adopted” me in as one of their shop kids. Every time I go into the shop I’m treated as family, always feel respected and have never felt like an outsider. I’ve been back many times, sometimes to get a tattoo, sometimes just to hangout. They are the sweetest and most caring people I’ve ever met and I have never felt more at home when I’m around them.

I recently brought my 5 month old in for ear piercing, and the experience was great. Debra made sure everything was sterile and safe. She was patient and gentle with my baby, ensuring a smooth process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable place for piercings!!

We took our daughter to get her ears pierced here today. They did an excellent job. They were very kind, understanding and our kids had a great time. We liked that they were sanitary and clean. When our next daughter wants her ears pierced we will take her here. Thanks

They were very welcoming and professional. I have plenty of piercings and tattoos but I’m new to the area and was looking for a septum piercing . This was the best piercing experience I’ve had. Besides the pain . My piercer had plenty of water and candy in case i felt woozy . She explained what she was doing every step of the way . Her people person skills were 10/10 . I will be back for more !!!

Went to get my babies ears pierced and was the best experience I could ask for. They were super friendly and so considerate with my baby girl. Checked up on her several days after the piercing .

Clean and friendly. I got four piercings while I was visiting family. It went smoothly. Deborah was fun to talk to and work with. Very knowledgeable about what would work good and where. I highly recommend these colors don’t run tattoo and piercing studio. I’m going back in a few months for another one.

They were all great and my daughter had a great experience. Only took maybe 30 minutes but that’s only cause they gave her. Little temp tattoo while we waited which she loved. The whole experience was great for both of us and price was def affordable as well. Highly recommend and will go back if she needs more.

So I can’t say enough about these amazing people John is amazing .. I drew a magnolia for my group of girls .. we call ourself the magnolias he duplicated my art in to a beautiful tattoo .. and his wife Deb is one of the most beautiful person inside and out, they both make you feel very comfortable and welcome at their studio .. I have gotten so many compliments on my beautiful work of art and I am so please with John’s work!! Thank you John and Deb for everything!!

They do a great job , Debra and John’s shop was clean well organized, they are professional and treat everybody like family. Very professional and talanted artist. Im still a work in progress but John went above and beyond.I will post pics after my arm is finished. Deb pierced my daughters nose and was beyond patient and very very good at what she does. As long as they are here i will never go to another tattoo shop.

Went in for the 20$ tattoo special with 5 friends. Very clean. Staff was professional and very friendly. It was the first time any of us had been there. We definitely will be back. Highly recommend

They were so amazing with getting me in quickly. Getting to confirm my piercings and pick my jewelry. And then checking in on me to make sure I was healing well! I will definitely be back for more piercings and a future tattoo! All the staff was super kind! 🤍

I took my 3 month old here to get her ears pierced and they had a BOGO, so I got my second ear hole done as well. 1st we walked in and a friendly, energetic woman greeted us. She had me sign the necessary paperwork before the baby got her ears pierced and another lady pierced her ears. They were patient and let me choose the colors of our earrings.They texted a couple days later to check on us and our healing and let me know they’d check back once more. But before the second check in the baby pulled her earrings out twice and lost one. I reached out to these colors don’t run and let them know and they had me come in to replace her earrings that day. Then they continued to check in on us.The customer service here can’t get a high enough rating. 10/10The cleanliness 10/10Family friendly ( I brought my 3yo to the piercing appt they helped her up on a chair and gave her candy while I held the baby) 10/10.I will 100% come back here.

Absolutely love everyone in this shop. Theyre kind and funny and make for a great and comfortable experience. I got Piercings and they have checked in on me both the day after and again a week or so after. Cant wait to go back for some ink in February.

Absolutely had a great experience! Cayla did a great job designing what I wanted. I came in with my husband and kids, they treated us like family. They checked in the day after as well which was nice. I will definitely be back for more.

Clean, friendly atmosphere, but would not recommend getting pierced here. Took my kiddo for an ear piercing. The earrings that were put in were about the size of a tiny nose stud. Way too small for proper healing. I wasnt shown the jewelry and didnt realize until they became swollen, and with no room to breathe, then inflamed and infected despite proper care. I had to go to a different, reputable shop to have them changed to proper earrings. Piercer was super friendly, but I dont recommend going here for piercings.*Edit to add since I cant seem to see the page on Google anymore and I cant reply to the response I received-My 14 year old who is the size of an adult (to the point that Cayla actually thought she was an adult when we arrived) didnt need child size earrings. She did not choose the ones Cayla put in. She chose different ones that Cayla was unable to get in my 14 year olds ear. Cayla chose the earrings that were put in my childs ear. Your shop has incredibly limited hours and the day I noticed infection you were not even open, nor did I want them touched there as they were done incorrectly the first time around. I wanted someone I knew and trusted and they agreed the wrong jewelry was used for my kid. I appreciate the refund and I hope Cayla uses proper jewelry on clients in the future. Also, maybe dont trash local, established shops to clients when issues like this come from yours.

I would share pictures, but John took enough if he wants to post them. I can say that while we havent finished yet, that Im already more than happy with the experience.My one and only complaint is that toward the end of an all day session I was ready to punch him if he touched my arm with one more paper towel. I dont care how smooth it is, 7 hours in and the paper towel felt like 60 grit sand paper. Where was my silk wipes?Now for the actual important parts. Hes a good artist. I liked his attitude and his eye for layout. The man has some skills when it comes to touching up old work and doing some creative coverup work.He uses a rotary machine instead of the traditional coil machines. That made for a much quieter session. The needle cartridges meant that he was able to finish work as he went, instead of going through the whole thing with a liner before going back to shade and fill.All in all it was worth it. I paid a $100 for some preliminary work on the design and a $1000 for a private session and I can see where that seems like a lot of money, but at the same time theres something to be said for having the place to yourself. He worked steady and quickly. The amount of ground he covered in a short time made it totally worth it to me. I expect to spend another $500 to finish up the arm and I know that I could have probably shopped around and found someone to do it cheaper, but I would point out that some decisions shouldnt be made based on cheapest price. I wouldnt pick a surgeon that way. Would you?
