Rip.. Ricky, we all love you..He lost his battle with cancer. 😔I treated my eldest gr.son with his 1st tattoo àt Rickys just about 6 weeks ago. Ricky retired due to his illness. However, he has a team of really good tat artists. This shop had been in Lake Charles ,La. for so many years, I was a young woman the 1st time I took out of town family to Ricky for their own tats. They are still beautiful today.Give them your business, and you will not be disappointed at all. Theyre very clean and efficient and love their clients.

My family has gotten multiple tattoos from rickies and never an issue. Love this place. Only tattoo shop we will use

I was in Lake Charles for a vaca when I decided to have my belly repierced. I had had my belly peirce several years ago but it closed shortly after it had been done. Jake was very helpful and informative. The only wait I had was while he was preparing for the procedure. He was very nice and friendly as well. If I lived in Lake Charles Id make this my shop for any tattoos or piercing I want. I live in Texas and if Im ever in the area again this is a stop Id put on my list to make.

Came in to get a tattoo Rob did an amazing job Im very satisfied By his work he was real patient took his time to leave it great 😊 im extremely happy with it I definitely recommend him and this shop for anyone looking to get some ink. Come to Rickie’tattoo shop. U wont leave unhappy. Had stopped at other places and they wanted to charge more than what he did.

Do not get pierced here. Ive been around the block with all types of piercings&different shops for 10 years and the guy who pierces at this shop completely messed up my septum piercing. It was horrible and I had to take it out after wasting $40, gas, and my time. Placement was dead wrong, just dont do it. The positive reviews are a mystery to me. Go to Houston or Baton Rogue. Go to your aunts house. Go anywhere but here. Avoid this place for piercings like the plague.

Very friendly place, got my septum and daith pierced here. Absolutely love how they make sure to check the location of where you want it to determine if they will be able to do it or not and they talk to you during the entire process. 10/10 recommend! My go to place!

Totally would recommend got two Helix piercings done they were so informative on both the piercing and the after care while also being super friendly I will definitely be going back for more piercings later

I’ve done a wrist tattoo in 2012 with Rickie’s. In the past month I’ve been working with the piercer. I forgot his name (so sorry). He’s done 3 piercings in each lobe. Then tonight I had him do my rook and conch in my left ear. He’s so knowledgeable and has been the best on helping me start my ear piercing journey.Rickie’s is the best here!

Horrible!! Was super hard with his hand tattooing my chest and left scars!! Didn’t do anything I asked just did everything how he felt like it!!

One of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had .. I went in for a cover up from a tattoo shop down the road. But due to what I wanted it couldn’t be done so it was integrated in the badly done one .. I wanted to butterflies in memory of my momma and grandson and walk out with much more than I expected.. always had great experiences there .. the only one I will use from now on ..

We walked in to get my wifes tattoo and they where busy and Rickie was able to get us in and get it done. Great guy to talk to sat there talking about everything again great guy and i hope to be able to come back and get one for me one day

Clean and great service! My friend and I went for a piercing and had an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly, we watched them sterilize everything right in front of us, after care instructions written and went over clearly. If I could give 10 stars I would. Definitely will be coming back for service!

This guy was rude when I walked in. Made me feel like I was a bother. I felt uneasy just standing there and didnt offer me a place to sit while I waited 25 minutes. The tattoo he done has ink missing in spots as he did it too heavy. Ive never had a tattoo heal bad the way the one he did. Wont go back.

Mr Rickie did absolutely amazing! I didn’t think I’d be able to get my late dog’s paw print on me with so much detail and he made it happen. He made me feel very comfortable and less nervous. If you need a tattoo, he’s your guy

I went in after work to get my nose pierced and they were super quick to greet me at the door and direct me to the piercer. Very friendly people and pretty professional. I signed the waver while Jake set up and i was in the chair in no time. The piercing process was very quick and its healing nicely. Jake gave me a sheet of instructions and a saline spray for cleaning and was quick to tell me what to do and what not to. The price was pretty low (i was expecting to pay $60 but it was 35 FREAKING DOLLARS). Thanks for the piercing and i definitely recommend going here for piercing.

Very rude staff who would want to get service by someone that don’t even make you feel comfortable in their place of business especially if they’re about to do any kind of work on you they need to go to a training class about professionalism cause they don’t have any at all..

They are Amazing!!! I recommend them to Everyone!!! Whether youre wanting a tattoo or a piercing. My tattoo artist was Robert & he is awesome!!! He did my nieces tattoo on her side & it looks so good and then he reworked a tattoo I had on my left shoulder of a red rose with my sons name over it. I need everything redone from the outline to the coloring to the shading. Because a year to the date after I had it done the color started to totally fade out of the tattoo. The only colors that half way stayed was the green & ofc the black outline but it too didnt look too good. Robert made it look even better than it did when I 1st got it done...it...is...freaking...AMAZING!!! He made the rose purple this time for me, because I have Lupus and the color purple is associated with that & also with Thyroid Cancer, of which I am a survivor of...So I would like to really Thank Robert for the Absolutely Amazing Tattoo! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!🙃😁

Tony did mine & my husbands cover up & he did amazing!! We wanted king & queen crowns.. Well 3 other guys turned us down how they couldn’t do it which we understood! Well we finally came to this shop! But when I tell you tony did amazing he’s a amazing artist! He’s very sweet & nice & he hand drew my crown. It’s beautiful work! As long as I’m in this area he will have my service when I need something done! This man is fantastic thank you tony!!!!!!

There are only two places in Lake Charles worth getting a tattoo in my opinion. (Hurricane knocked out atomic heart) Rickys and Iron Cypress. Ricky and the people working with him throughout the years have all been beast. Up to you where you go but thats my honest opinion off of the work I have seen from all the shops in my time.

Got my nose pierced and my first tattoo yesterday. I love the atmosphere was everything everyone was so chill, kind, and friendly. Mr. Tony did my tattoo he is crazy talented and the young guy who done my piercing did amazing as well i didn’t hurt nor did i tear up. Highly recommended I will definitely be back for more tatts.

I got my second holes pierced, and my friends got their noses pierced. Before heading over I called asking if they did walk in’s and answered my question and quickly handed the phone to the piercing guy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and felt comfortable and in good hands. They marked it before piercings to let me check first and thoroughly told us how to care for our new piercings.

My husband and I got tattoos with Tony. He was very nice and listened to exactly what I wanted! I absolutely love my hibiscus flowers and hubs tattoo is amazing as well. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, everyone was so polite and welcoming. We were visiting for our 20year anniversary and we will for sure go back. Thank you Tony!

I got a septum piercing done here around July 2021. After the piercing was done, it wasn’t sitting the way a septum ring usually does. It was pointing straight forward and wouldn’t go down. I could tell it was in the wrong place because I couldn’t even move my top lip down, eat, or drink without pain. I took it out 3 days later, still in pain. I recently pierced my septum again myself and it was way better. I’m not saying to do it yourself. Please find a TRAINED and good professional. Very clean and did a wonderful job but did not tell me how to keep the tattoo clean and didn’t even tell me that they take cash only ugh …😒

Hands down the best work as they are always booked. And it is definitely worth the trip and a wait, be sure to contact in advance to schedule an appointment. The work in its self is spectacular. Once my piece is finished I will upload it.

Joey did my first tattoo! I was nervous, but it was so chill in the shop, and Joey had a really soft hand. It was fantastic! I am very pleased with the gorgeous job he did. Definitely going to go back.One thing surprised me, though. Its the fact that they dont bandage you up afterward. I read beforehand that its best (in some peoples opinion) to have it bandaged for a couple hours immediately following completion, but Joey said he doesnt do that. I trust him because he did my tattoo, has so many himself, and is a professional. Im sure if there was something wrong with it, he would have picked up on it in 25 years of tat work. :P Just thought it was best to mention that.Overall, I was super comfortable in Rickies! It was a lot of fun, and the guys are super intelligent. Great people to sit in a room and bleed with. lol Thanks, Joey!

I went to Rickies to get my first tattoo when I turned 18 last year.Rickie didnt do mine, but Harry did and I must say, he is AMAZING!He wasnt rude, he was laid back.Definitely the kind of place Id recommend to someone to go get their first one!!!Everyone in my family goes to Rickies for their tattoos and now I know why!Great quality at great prices!

Went here the first time about 2 years ago I travel for work live in Missouri and will not get ink work anywhere else. Robert is a great artist worth the drive everytime me or my wife need more work done. Everything my wife and I have is one of a kind we tell Robert a story what we want and he produces a detailed portrait better than I imagined everytime. About to drive 12 hours one way in 3 weeks just for my wife to get something done. We got a lot of options but Rickies tattoo is the only place Ill go

They where so gentle and fast with my piercing and very friendly the guy was super nice and fast with my belly piercing and it looks great!!!!

Did me so wrong. i had the right side of my nose pierced before i went to get my left side pierced, its been a few weeks since then and it is SO uneven with the right side. it was also pierced at the wrong angle. i remember asking the piercer to dot my nose upwards MULTIPLE TIMES and it was STILL too low. not coming here again.

My wife and I came to Lake Charles for our 20th Anniversary. Tony was our artist. My wife knew what she wanted ( 2 hibiscus flowers) and I did not as I was just adding to a tattoo my friend gave me when he first started. Tony not only got both of us in and out in about 3 hours, but he managed to come up with and apply shading and background to enhance my 10 year old tat and bring it back to life. We will be back !!!

Amazing beautiful tattoo! This was my first tattoo and Im so happy I went to Rickies. He did my tattoo himself and he has a very light hand and did an amazing job I couldnt be happier!! I will definitely be going back to get my next one!

Very professional. I took my daughter to get her nose and daith pierced, they were professional & had great bedside manner. They made sure she was comfortable & walked her through everything.

I’ve gotten two tattoos done here (so far) and everything from the staff to the actual tattoo was amazing. Very laid back environment, I’ve definitely found the place for all my future tattoos. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend!

I’ll start out and say the staff were polite up to the point I went back for my money. With that said, I went in today to get a septum piercing done, and OH BOY is that placement horrible. That’s not even in my septum, and it would have NEVER healed by itself. How do you even call yourself a piercer if you screw up that bad. Showing this picture to some of my family who are in the tattoo/piercing business, and some of my friends with septum’s, there was a resounding “that is that WORST septum piercing I’ve ever seen!” It’s not in the soft spot. Guy literally shoved that needle wherever it went, and called it done. So far back, no where near where it should be. I went back in not even 2 hours later to get my money back. To give the guy credit, he asked if I wanted him to move the placement, with the words “Wherever you want it.” Not only was that a HUGE red flag, I wouldn’t want this guy anywhere near my face with a needle again. I’d rather go to some random anyone who knows a lick of anything about what they’re doing. But they refused to refund me. I gave the piercing back and everything. I feel robbed, this shop has no place goin around piercing ANYONE with work and attitude like this. Stick to tattooing, you just lost took my $40, screwed up my nose, and showed me the door. I even tipped bud $7. Reader take my advice and go anywhere else than this con shop. Don’t let them near your face.

Terrible place to get pierced. Me and 2 other friends went to get our noses pierced and within 1 day we all had bumps on our noses. We went to another piercing shop and they told us that the piercings were placed incorrectly and that the cleaning solution they gave us was a terrible choice. Do not recommend.

Had my daith piercings done there, healing nicely also not one headache since they were done..Efficient and friendly staff,will definitely return in the future for more work!!

My friend went here to get his septum pierced and they botched him. I’ve never seen a worse “septum” piercing in my life. Completely incorrect placement; not even remotely close to where it should be. Avoid the piercing at this location like the plague.

I think his name was Chase , but he was freaking awesome. My tattoo come out great and he even offered a free touch up later. Everyone in there was great.

Robert done a Jam up job on a 1 of a kind tattoo, I gave him a pic of some tools on my arm that I wanted withen Ripped up skin & he took it from there, I liked the drawing he come up with not knowing just how much Detail he was going to put on the second sitting when it got some color. My first tatto was worth it. I hopped on google and searched for tatto shops in Lake Charles. This one had the more better consistent reviews. Took a chance and went there, well let me say it was worth it. Thank you guys. I recommend everybody to go here and get inked🤘🏾

I was out of there in 4 minutes when I got my labret piercing. They do not thoroughly explain how to take care of them. I had to Google how to take care of my piercing to get a good understanding.
