Lake Oswego Vein and Aesthetic LOVA

I went to LOVA to treat some broken capillaries I had around my nose and near my eyes. Prior to LOVA, I had seven V-Beam treatments and one electrolysis treatment from a Medical Spa, and neither of those treatments helped with the broken capillaries. After only two treatments with Dr. Maha Sabah Shakir, the broken capillaries are mostly gone and Im so happy with my results. I would highly recommend LOVA if you have any cosmetic facial veins you want to treat!

Dr. Shakir is the best or the best! I struggle with Bell’s palsy and I have a droopy eye on the right side. I came to Dr. Shakir to get some PDO threads to lift the eye lid instead of invasive surgery and the results are great! Everyone says I look more awake, younger and I feel more confident! I have never felt more comfortable when being around needles. Dr. Shakir did an amazing job with my lip filler and she also added some threads which sounds painful, but wasnt! If you arent sure about a treatment, I highly suggest coming in for a consult.

I had my large varicose vein removed and Dr. Shakir made me comfortable when I was pretty nervous for the procedure. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this was pretty painless. Dr Shakir also did some Botox and laser therapy on me as well. I had spider veins too. I highly recommend her for any treatment. She is professional and very knowledgeable. I trust her and I tell everyone who is interested about LOVA! She has a lot of services available besides Botox, varicose veins, spider veins, and laser treatments. I had a private PDO thread training with Dr. Shakir today. She was nothing short of AMAZING! There are two of us who had botox, and mole removals done. Those were simple, 15 min procedures that were great, quick healing and well explained pre-and-post procedures, by the doctor. Dr. Shakir is very hands-on, caring and has years of experience. Because we were so pleased, I myself also later had full thread lift done.Thread lift took under an hour and was not painful at all. Because of Dr. Shakirs skills and years of experience, the procedure was done smoothly without any issues. For these types of aesthetic procedures, the doctor is everything because we had other procedures done years ago at different states and by different surgeons. Usually, the end result comes down to the doctors hands and skill sets. Dr. Shakir is extremely skilled in what she does and teaches others too on the thread lift techniques at conferences. I had been wanting to get the spider veins on my legs treated for many years but didn’t know who to go to. I finally chose LOVA and I am so pleased with the results so far. My veins were pretty bad and in need of three treatments. Being very afraid of needles kept me nervous about any treatment but it was not necessary. Dr. Shakir was so gentle and kind. I had nothing to fear. I’m going into summer with new confidence wearing my shorts. I even decided to give a little bit of Botox a try in my forehead. I am shocked that I barely felt it. Just had VenaSeal with Dr Shakir. I have had wonderful results with this procedure no more leg pain and swelling! It was virtually painless with just small amounts of swelling for a couple of days and Advil fixed all of that. Would definitely recommend LOVA wonderful staff and experience!!

I just had a procedure done for varicose veins last week. Venaseal. It was so much easier than the injections I had done fifteen years ago! No compression stockings, no discomfort afterwards. There were a couple of pinches but no real pain during the procedure. It was quick and now my veins are gone! I also have seen some of the swelling in my ankles go down since having this done. The doctor and staff are wonderful. I plan to go back and get a few other things done.

I highly recommend seeing Dr. Shakir and her staff at LOVA. I just had my first experience with PDO Threading and my results are amazing. What a difference and I still look like me, just more refreshed.I got the Full Thread Package which included the Face and Neck Area. The packages included Arnicare, Pro-Nox, neck strap, All the Threads, Radiesse, Eye cream and Botox.The procedure only took a little over an hour.For those thinking about it or just had it done. Trust the process and the 2 week recovery. It is well worth it. You will definitely need to take Tylenol and ibuprofen every 2 hours for the first 2-3 days for sure. Your head is going to hurt. Sleep sitting up as much as possible and ice every hour. By the end of the first week my swelling was gone and everything felt back to normal. Again trust the process and don’t worry the results are well worth it. Thank you Dr. Shakir.

Dr. Shakir did a very good job and I am very satisfied the result. I did face filler and face thread treatment. It took me a week to recover, but after that my facial muscles were obviously tightened and lifted.

I had a large blue vein under my eye and an area of broken blood vessels between my eyes treated with the Vein Gough system. It was quick, straight forward, and affordable. Dr. Shakir was professional and knowledgeable and carefully explained what to expect. I felt that the procedure was affordable and I knew exactly what I would pay before the procedure. My daughter had a spider mark on her face and OHSU was over 6 months out to perform the removal procedure when we found Lova. We walked in and got it removed the same day! I had black spot on my big toe for several years. I tried different treatment over the years without results. Suddenly the black spot start spreading to involve most of the nail. I was afraid that I am gonna loose my nail. I went to LOVA for laser toenail fungal treatment. My experience with Amazing! My toenail fungal infection finally and completely resolved. The clinic follows COVID precautions. I highly recommend the laser treatment for the toenail fungal infection for anyone with similar problem.

I would give Maha 10 stars if I could!! I went in for micro-needling. I have had this done at other clinics before finding LOVA. No comparison. Maha has a very calm demeanor and is very professional. The numbing cream she uses worked wonderfully!! I hardly felt a thing. I started noticing firmer skin after about 3 weeks.
