The studio is really cool, clean and the staff is super friendly. I asked for something really specific with lots of detail and color and I must say that I was extremely happy with the overall results! LUIS ESTRADA did an amazing job, he is super detailed, creative and overall just a really cool dude. Whatever type of tattoo that you’re looking to get whether it’s something simple or something really elaborate, this is definitely the place to go!Thanks for making my first tattoo - one to remember!

I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Marcos recently. Sometimes, you book a tattoo artist because you’ve seen how great their work is but when you get to the shop, the customer service really makes the tattooing process more uncomfortable than it has to be.Marcos is very client centered red. My session flew by because of this. It wasn’t just his demeanor though. His wife and the other tattoo artists in the shop make you feel so at ease.My tattoo turned out beautifully. The line work, shading, and composition exceeded my expectations. I’ll be frequenting this shop from now on.

Horikawa is the by far best tattoo shop in Laredo! Likely one of the top in the state! Marcos & all the artists are outstanding & do amazing work! Clean shop, Inviting atmosphere. Friendly & professional staff. I recommend them 100% to everyone that asks. Ive even recommended them to friends as far as Houston! I just moved to Corpus & I will definitely make the drive to get more ink by Marcos! I will go nowhere else!!

Great shop and tattooers. Ive had about 5 different pieces done here by Luis and he did a fantastic job on each one. He doesnt scratch you with the needle which lets the tattoo heal easily. He also is very detail oriented and makes sure the piece is perfect before you walk out the door. He is open to all your requests and doesnt try to push his style of work or design on you. Highly recommend.

I’ve been looking to get my first tattoo for quite sometime, i’m extremely happy i found them! I got mine from Andy and couldn’t give higher praises, he did fantastic work and made my first a very pleasant experience. I’ll definitely be returning sometime soon it’s a great shop!

Ive been going to get all my recent ink here and never a bad experience. All the staff make you feel like family and cant beat the years of experience not only combined but by main tattooist Marcos. Ive been inked by almost everyone there but need to still be baptized by pain from 2 or 3 more that work there now too. Highly recommend.

A really clean and professional shop, lead by Marcos Rivera who has yrs of experience. Ive gone to this shop for years and never had a problem with any of the work Ive gotten done. If youre in town and wanna get some tattoos, I highly recommend this shop.

Horikawa has some of the best artist and cleanest environment I’ve personally been to. I have 7 piercings and 10+ tattoos and since going to Marcus and his crew I’ve never been anywhere else. Marcus was able to do great cover up and fix up some blowouts on previous tattoos I had. Anytime somebody asks me who or where to go for piercings/tattoos it’s always Horikawa for me.

Watch out as they delete negative reviews.Came in around a year ago to get my tattoo retouched by Andy. I felt as if it was almost a bother to him to work on my tattoo as he was not communicative and had his headphones in the entire session apart from giving off the vibe that he just didn’t want to be there.Very heavy hand that has left subpar line work and permanent scarring on my arm.Would not recommend ANYONE looking to get a tattoo to go here or at the very least not with Andy.

Awesome place to get a tattoo! Really nice people and atmosphere, but above all the tattoos are incredible! Got mine done by Luis and he was very kind and accommodating to my needs since I am handicapped he worked around it.

This is one of the most professional tattoo/ piercing studios here in Laredo. Everyone there is respectful and polite. Not once do you feel uncomfortable or intimidated. Never going anywhere else to get work done after this experience.

Been going to Marcus for quiet sometime now for a huge cover up. I made many mistakes with my old tattoos and Marcus has turned them into a masterpiece. Not only that but they make sure you feel safe and happy being there.

I kid you guys not when I say that this place is the best place ever to get piercings done it is the best place ever I was wanting a nose piercing for a while I was scared nervous because I’ve previously heard stories about nose piercings gone wrong or worse but right when I walked in I just felt peaceful vibes and the place was decorated super comfy vibes the piercer was super sweet and idk listening to her voice was just so calming she made this whole experience feel so much better for me!!

Had never heard of this place. I went once to a club close to it but never saw it. I really liked that they dont do tattoos on minora not even with the parents permission. My oldest daughter had one done and they did a really good job 👍👍

Called and left message. On 10 Dec 2026 at 1100 I went to the studio. The stair area stinks of stale cigarette smoke. Nobody there. Waited for 10 minutes. Still nobody showed up. I left. Wont be back.

They are not professionals. Terrible service for a simple piercing in the nose, it made 4 painful attempts because they do not have the appropriate material to do the piercing and they improvise at the moment. I dont recommend it. Apart from very expensive for a horrible and unprofessional service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
