Ive been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while. Finally decided to do it after my wife went and had a great experience. I told my artist it was my first tattoo and he said hed walk me through it. It was a very professional clean well run facility. It was a wonderful experience and when/if Im ready for my next one Ill absolutely go back there!! I have nothing but the highest praise for this.They also did a cartilage piercing for my daughter also they were great.

First time getting tattooed at the shop. Brett was amazing! Quick, surprisingly not as painful, and he got the design perfect before I got there! Line work is excellent. Already booked my next appointment. Highly recommend Brett.

I went to Altered Image to get 2 tattoos. The first was of a man fighting a snake which came out ok. There’s some scarring and a few small things look a little wonky. The second was of a cherub holding a gun. That one didn’t turn out well. There’s a lot of hair for the head size, the face looks rushed, the left arm doesn’t really look like an arm, the tattoo just doesn’t look good overall. I went in for a touch up after it had healed and he said, “there’s nothing I can really do to this one to make it better.” I now have an appointment for a cover up and will not be going back to Altered Image. Maybe it was just the artist, who knows?

Got my nosed pierced last December (2023) not sure who did it but it was $50. gave the dude 60 and he put all of it in his pocket and i had to ask for my change. he did the piercing horribly low, and it has never fully healed, pierced it 1/2 cm away from my nostril, don’t get pierced there. i can not wear hoop nose rings and you can always see the base of my stud. idc if its a late post im still angry about it to this day

I got my very first tattoo from this shop back in 2008. Such a great place and look forward to getting my fourth tattoo here!

Chad Taylor did tattoos for me and my wife , I was asking him for about 8 months to do a touch up because he missed a couple lines on my eifes tattoo and he never got back to me. After countless times messaging him still nothing. He even went as far as to block me on social media when I called him out because we never got our free touch up . If you go here I would recommend going through anybody BUT Chad.

Paid $200 for this tattoo and this is what happened to it I went by everything the guy told me to do I even had to go to the e.r cause it got so bad do not go here

Ive gone to Altered Image now for 4 tattoos, 3 done by the same artist. Professional, nice, easy going, reasonable prices, clean environment, staff are nice. Ill continue to get more art done there and highly recommend them.

Amazing work. Tattoo was perfect! Talent knew no bounds. But asking my 18 year old daughter what’s in between her 16 yo non-binary sibling’s legs did it for me. Glad that wasn’t said when I was present or man would have needed to tattoo on a new face.

Absolutely love this place! I drive two hours one way just to see Rhino. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, everything is very clean and organized. Everyone is super great and helpful. Highly suggest taking your tattoo journey here, you wont regret it ;)

I went to change my daith last night and could not get the earring into the hole so I called this morning and Jay fit me right in. Saved my piercing before it closed up. Clean, friendly, great atmosphere.

I had an appointment today with a person I’m not gonna name but his work is outstanding and his customer service usually amazing. I have been going here for a tad over a year maybe and been pleased. I’ve always gotten a reminder call never missed an appointment. I called about a month ago made an appointment and expected a reminder call as usual. So today he calls me at 2:01 and asked would I make my 2pm appointment I said no and before I could apologize or explain or reschedule I was hung up on. I understand the frustration in his end but still gotta be professional and polite. This economic money will stop pumping out one day and then it’ll be back to those who were there before then like myself. I just didn’t appreciate being hung up on like that for being human I mean if you’re booking a month out you should be calling and doing reminders like you’ve always done. Work is fantastic though but what I love about this place as opposed to others is the great customer service as well.

Love it. Brett did my third tattoo today and I love it. All my tattoos r from here and they all healed nicely and they are all so nice and gentle and I plan on getting more in the future. Great Service!

I work for a company that reviews other businesses and when I was ready for my tattoos, I went to Altered Image. The music was kinda loud and it was the very very heavy rock that most of the general population isnt fond of. I asked the lady if I would be listening to that music during my tattoo, telling her it would be extremely uncomfortable to be tattooed while listening to that kind of music, and she asked her tattoo artist husband to change it, which they kindly did. But, I could sense a change, and I should have gone with my instincts and left, but I stayed and got my tattoos. Chad was my artist. He did an excellent job, the tattoos look great! That being said, he was standoffish, and I felt I was inconvenience to him. When he completed my two tattoos, he told me he didnt need to wrap them. I found that odd and unsanitary. I had to ask him to please put wrap on them. I had each calf tattooed, and he put Saran wrap on them. No skin conditioner, no ointment, only Saran wrap. Needless to say, he didnt receive the $20 tip I was allotted to give him. The shop was beautiful, clean and very inviting. Too bad the staff wasnt.

I love this place. They are all awesome people and they all do Amazing work. I use Ryan the Rhino. He’s incredibly talented. I’ve been there 3 times and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Also The place is So Clean. Brand new building

Great atmosphere. Great people. Great conversation while doing my tattoos. Rhino did all 3 of my tattoos and I am very satisfied. One on my spine. One close to my collar bone. And one on my forearm. All in script... I love them all.

You close at 7pm & you only have 1 person doing tattoos. I called for an appointment & you told me I didn’t need one. That would be a set to come in around. I came in & you turned me away. Bad for business.
