Sad to be leaving this review but my experience here was terribly disappointing. I found this place because of the positive reviews, but as it turns out Ryan offers $20 off for leaving a review. So, all of the reviews are skewed and based off either consultation/first treatment; not the experience as a whole.While I understand that tattoo removal and certain machines don’t work for everyone, Ryan was completely dishonest with me about the progress of my tattoo. He is less than personable and would not give me any update unless I specifically asked. To which his response would usually be very generic/vague like “it’s taking longer than expected”. Anyone credible would have said that I should take a break or try to find somewhere with a different machine. Instead, Ryan would just increase time between appointments and continue taking my money.After around 7 sessions I finally decided to try Northville Beauty Spa because they have a different machine. The new consultant let me know that there is some scar tissue on my tattoo from Ink Blasters. However, was still able to treat it and the experience was 1000x better.The new place actually numbed the area which is something Ryan never does and the pain is horrific. The new place took their time in trying different machine settings until they saw the desired result. Ryan would just go to town on whatever setting. They also put aftercare cream on it and wrapped it in Saran Wrap to protect it, which is also something Ryan does not do. In fact, Ryan told me I shouldn’t put any cream or ointment on it for 2-3 days, which is completely false and no wonder why I have some damage to my skin.It’s a shame it took me so long to try somewhere else and I’m saddened that I thought that I was getting proper treatment. I spent a lot of money at Ink Blasters and would have appreciated if he was just honest. The level of care I’m receiving elsewhere made me realize that Ryan just rushes through the entire appointment and doesn’t actually care to provide proper treatment. I highly encourage you to look elsewhere for tattoo removal. Regardless of if the new place works or not, I feel much better about the experience and what I’m paying for.

I went in for a consultation and a first treatment for a tattoo removal and Ryan was very pleasant and professional. He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure and he answered all of my questions. The office is clean and easy to find.

Absolute WASTE of time and money! I’ve waited 2 years before leaving a honest review. I started going to Ryan in 2019 for a complete removal of a face tattoo. I was quoted for around 8 sessions for complete removal. I trusted the process and followed directions and after completing the 8 sessions with almost no results and never any good communication about my concerns of my results with Ryan I stopped going completely in 2021. I never informed him that I was going to stop going, I just stopped. He has never once contacted me in two years about my next appointment or follow up on why I am not continuing. I thought maybe it was my body not pushing out the ink. Fast forward I have done my research and starting this over with a highly rated company and have had more success in ONE session with them then EIGHT with Ryan. Also, I’ve been told that the laser Ink Blasters use is NOT meant for tattoo removal. I would have swelling, purple bruising and blisters every session with Ink blasters. The smell of my skin burning. I’ve had zero of that with a different company. Don’t believe me, look through the reviews and find someone who actually had a successful removal with them and didn’t just leave a review after there first appointment to get money off the second!

Im 1/3 of the way through my removal treatment and I couldnt be happier with the progress. I can already see the tattoo fading and the facility is clean and Ryan is very kind and professional and explains everything to you before it happens. I would definitely recommend Ink Blasters.

Ryan is very professional and explained everything before starting! He was able to do my first session that day which took less than a minute as for it is a very small spot. He sends you home with after care instructions and texts you the day after to follow up. The office itself is very clean and looks like a doctor office. About three years ago I came to this place and had a few sessions done to remove my tattoo. I had sessions done elsewhere before coming here, and we realized my tattoo was quite stubborn at going away. I originally gave three stars because I felt like the tattoo hadnt budged much after the few expensive sessions, however, after moving to another state and letting time and my body take over for the rest of the work, Im happy to say the tattoo is almost completely gone. I do believe Ryans technique and machinery did the job. My body just needed more time to filter out the rest of the tattoo. So, I have changed my review to 5 stars and I just wanted to say thank you for everything. :)

Recently visited Ink Blasters for my first tattoo removal.First thing that struck me was that this was a very professional, top of the line tattoo removal company. This isn’t like a back-alley tattoo removal place, or like getting a tattoo removed at a tattoo shop… This is more like a doctor’s office.I knew I found the right place for my tattoo removal!Ryan is an extremely knowledgeable, experienced professional. He explains the whole process in detail. He can also give you an estimate of how many sessions it will take for a complete removal.I came in for a consultation, but afterwards, I was offered to complete the first removal session right then and there, as it is actually quite a quick process, surprisingly. A single session for my quite large tattoo took only around 7 minutes.We began with a test spot, to access the pain. It wasn’t too bad… Reasonably less painful than getting the tattoo itself.Ryan is very accommodating, offering breaks and other ways to help lessen the pain of the removal.After the session, I was provided with aftercare instructions, and a goodie bag of medicine to apply to the tattoo if needed.Ryan even texted me to check up on me the day after the session! I didn’t encounter any issues after the session, other than a small amount of soreness and itchiness, which even is encountered after getting a tattoo as it’s healing.I would highly recommend Ink Blasters for tattoo removal. After getting a tattoo I was not happy with, my mom was able to find ink blaster for me. We called and talked to Ryan who was able to set me up with an appointment that worked with my schedule. When we arrived to the appointment, he was very nice and informative. I submitted a form online to set up a consultation. I was called within two days of the form submission and set up an appointment for the following week. Ive read a lot of reviews of great experiences after the first couple of sessions. I decided to write my review after completing the entire process. As other reviewers stated, first impression...super clean office, Ryan is friendly and professional. I was super nervous about making this decision (should have been more thoughtful about the initial tattoo, oh well), but Ryan shared helpful information and asked questions about my skin and health. With the understanding that I have sensitive skin, I appreciated getting eased into the process and the next day follow up texts to check on my progress. The ultimate goal was to lighten two of my tattoos for a cover up. My first session was in April 2017 and the last in September 2018...10 total. Of course this wasnt a fun experience. Sometimes you just need to grab life by the stress balls and deal with the pain for a few minutes. Overall, I had no issues and it was great to see the thick black lines of a terrible tattoo fade away. I wouldnt want to do it again, but definitely recommend Ink Blasters =)

I just got my second treatment on 4 tattoos today, as soon as I walked into the door he was ready to start my treatment, he asked if I had any issues from my first treatment and we got started. He’s always professional, explains things clearly, answers any questions I may have. When I went in for my consultation he was able to start my first treatment right then, the second treatment seemed to go by quicker, still painful but seemed to be a little more tolerable this second time after knowing what to expect. After the first treatment I was able to see changes and I can see more changes following this second treatment. I would highly recommend this place for laser tattoo removal, my first treatment had very little side effects, some minor swelling (to be expected) and minor itching with a couple of the tattoos, but other than that no complications.

Ryan carefully went over my options & made sure to understand the potential hyper pigmentation that I could get(thankfully did not) because of my naturally tan skin. Where to begin, I searched online, read many reviews, and I kept stumbling upon Ink Blasters. I only wanted the best laser treatment and I am happy to say that I found it with Ryan at Ink Blasters. The laser they use is state of the art, high quality, Q-Switch Laser that breaks up ink effectively in a short amount of time. This was important to me since I am very swamped with graduate school.He gave me a break down of what to expect during the ink removal process, the price per treatment, and a rough estimate of how many treatments I would need, all before starting any treatments. For those who budget money, I recommend Ink Blasters, they will quote you without signing a contract.

I started the journey of getting my tattoo removed one year ago (July 2017). It has taken about 10 sessions to remove a tattoo I got when I was sixteen years old, Im thirty-eight presently. Ive always hated the tattoo and wanted to remove it. Im a lighter skinned black women, Ryan explained that because of my pigment the process has to be very slow and non-aggressive, as to not leave hyperpigmentation (dark scars). Because of his knowledge and professionalism, Ive shown family and friends and they cant believe its almost gone!! I waited a year to write this because, I wanted to give a honest and informed review to someone who maybe pondering getting a tattoo removed. But didnt know, who to see, or where to go. I don’t recommend this place, especially during the pandemic. There is a sign on the door requiring everyone inside to wear masks, to which I complied. The owner/technician wasn’t wearing a mask, and refused to answer when I politely asked about it.He also got really frustrated and irritable when I asked about a few parts of the form I was to fill out prior to the consultation. It’s not the best practice to blindly fill out forms, and it’s completely within reason to ask questions.You would think from looking at their website and visiting their office that they highly value professionalism and customer satisfaction, but actions speak louder than words.A complete disregard for pandemic safety mandates made me wonder what other safety practices is compromised there. The poor communication skills/lack of stress management (or whatever it was) was unreasonable, bizarre, and unacceptable. I definitely will not go back.

Wife went to get a tattoo removed after setting up child care and driving 60 miles one way. Wasnt there for very long, was told it couldnt be removed because it had colors and the machine wouldnt remove colors. What a total copout. This could have been handled via phone, text or email saving the drive if they were going to make a lousy excuse about colors in the tattoo. Buyer beware. Do not recommend. Zero stars.

Went in at 1 for a free consultation and by 1:30 I was out, fully informed and finished with my first session. I’ve noticed a difference already, small parts of the tattoo are nearly gone after one treatment. It did hurt, but was literally 30 seconds of pain for 2 sq inches of ink.

Called for a consultation on a Monday, came in on a Friday & was able to start my sessions right away!!! As much as I want to say it didn’t hurt, I did “scream” lol, but the process took about 5 minutes & it’s much more affordable than I thought it’d be! Would definitely recommend!!

Ive hemmed and hawed for years as to whether to get rid of an ugly tat, cover it up, or ignore it. I contacted InkBlasters this week, and began the process of ugly removal. They are professional, prompt, clean, well-informed, and willing to discuss any concerns beforehand. Follow-up procedure is fairly straightforward. The process stings, but not horribly and is much quicker than the original tattoo process (a few minutes at most per session for a small tat). Quite satisfied.

Did 4 or 5 sessions with Ryan. Couldnt finish the process because he wanted to charge me 2 $50 fees for inconvenience on missed appointments (Never seen other customers in his office). Sends me text explaining he has a wife and kids who he likes to spend time with. Must think hes the only one with family. Found someone else in Dearborn who does it for $35 less a session. Always check your best options first. Thats all Im saying.

The owner was nice and funny. He made me feel comfortable, even though the process can be painful. He was also very understanding and willing to work with me when I needed to reschedule an appointment.

The rates are great, the pain isnt even close to what I built it up to be in my head, and its quick. I could see a noticeable difference after the first treatment. I made a dumb decision recently and got a tattoo a few days ago maybe about 4 days ago and I already regret getting it and dont want it, it’s a forearm tattoo almost all the way around , mostly consists of skinny lines that are black ink, there’s a little bit of color like Blue and light blue, Green and a light color red, I wanna know how many Sessions and how long it’ll take to fully completely be removed like it was never there
