Kevin is amazing had done three pieces for me and is hands down the best tattoo artist I have worked with. I traveled from Port Huron on Saturday to get a cover up done. Kevin did not disappoint cannot even tell there was another tatt underneath.

Doug and staff are top notch! Kind, respectful, thorough and overall pleasant experience. Doug was straightforward on what to expect when it came to recovery, price and aftercare. I felt welcomed and valued through the whole experience and wouldnt hesitate to come back if I want more work done. Thank you Doug for your time, energy and great conversation!

The staff was absolutely amazing and genuinely friendly!!!! My husband and I walked in and were able to get wonderful tattoos to commemorate our sons passing. Trent did amazing work and was nothing but kind. Both my husband and I will be back!!!!! The place was so clean. We were there all day and our time with Trent just flew by.

Saturday I went in as a walk in to get a set of piercings done. It was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and Brooke doing the piercings, was great. She was calming and very reassuring during the process. She explained everything well.

Went to the piercing side of the business for a spontaneous tragus. Alex and Brooke are incredible. So kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I also love that they are members of the Association of Professional Piercers.They have a pretty good selection of jewelry and we’re happy to place a custom order for me. I highly recommend this shop. I look forward to returning for some additional piercings.

I got a full forearm tattoo in february and i cannot recommend julie varner enough, shes the best! front desk girl is super cool too. if u need a fine line black tattoo and do not go to julie varner i will personally slit ur tire. that is all.

Julie does lively fine line floral work. She and my daughter developed an amazing tribute to my mother. The way she brought my daughters ideas to life is truly what it is to be an artist.

TJ is an amazing artist. He has done several tattoos for my husband but this is my first larger tattoo. I have gotten so many compliments on how great it looks as well as the detail being perfect. Beyond the artist Eternal is a clean and professional shop. If you are ever wanting to get a tattoo go see TJ!

TJ is so great, quick to get me in, ensures perfection with the pre drawing to what I wanted, efficient while working and great conversation making for a relaxing appointment during your time in his chair. 12/10 recommend Eternal and TJ! Just want to give a big shout out to TJ he did an awesome job on my tattoo of my dog who passed away I got a portrait of my dog and it turned out amazing he did such a great job and very caring. eternal tattoo is a wonderful place to go I got all my tattoos there the staff is wonderful and very friendly . It is not like I have visited many others, just one, to have a tattoo done or have many, just 3 now, but if I ever have another I will come here. Didnt need an appointment or tell them what I wanted by email like the one I had used in Ann Arbor. I could just come in and talk and show my idea of what I wanted - an old fashion library card catalog drawer with 2 cards pulled out and and a dragon tail coming out of the draw.When the first artist got COVID and my Sunday appointment was cancelled, the store worked to get me in with another artist, Andrew Heithecker who was excited to do it. He had the drawer drawn out when I got there and after talking to me, drew the tail and the cards. Less than 2 hours later and for a very fair price, I had the tattoo I had wanted for years. He deserved the tip I gave him. Other crazy librarian loved it when I posted it on Facebook.The reviews and stars you see have been truly earned.

After doing a lot of research, I brought my daughter here for her first tattoo. She was a little nervous at first, but Andrew not only came up with a design she loved, but he also keep her laughing through most of the 3.5 hour sitting. The lines in her tattoo are clean, the trees are incredibly detailed, the wolfs eyes look right at you and the depth of shading in the moon? Just no words!Studio was clean and each set of needles was individually wrapped, no autoclave kinda thing. Andrew changed his gloves often and spent most of her session actively working. All things I consider important.My other daughter is already hoping to schedule a re-work of a current tattoo next time she comes up to visit and I know who Ill be going to for the next few that I want!

I went here for a face tattoo feeling really nervous and anxious, and the environment here is beyond amazing. I have anxiety and after being in the building for 5 minutes I felt way better. The artists and the woman at the front desk are literally so nice and talk to you as if they have known you for a long time. Its a family vibe in the place and its so clean and professional. I highly recomend getting a tattoo here. Especially from trent Thompson. He is really laid back, cool, and he did an amazing tattoo on my face. I definitely plan to get more tattoos from eternal in livonia......Update: 2/24/2020 tattoo healed so nice and im going to go back to get more also wanted to add that trent was so clean about everything, it was all packaged and new, he also plays music and asked often if I was okay or needed a break. His line work is so nice. It might be hard to tell in the pic because that was like 5 min after the tattoo was done and it was a little swollen. But Ive never been more happy about a tattoo before.

Tj Hodge does all my work, I’ve been going to him for over 10 years. The shop is ALWAYS in pristine condition. The staff is super friendly and the work is beyond quality. I’ll never go anywhere else. He’s done over 10 pieces on me, the sun tattoo is 12 years old and I still get complements on it .

Do not get tattooed here!!! I waited 2 weeks for my appt. Had a picture of what I wanted to get tattooed (shown) Actual tatoo I received has been blocked from this review cuz its so bad.The artist stenciled it on me, ended up spending 5 hours and nearly $500 getting half of the tattoo done and it looks HIDEOUS. The manager is refusing to return any money because Eternal Tattoos does not accept responsibility for the artists MISTAKES..the artists are independent contractors. Unless you want to pay double to have your tattoo covered up, do not go to this establishment. I tried posting pictures but they keep deleting them...the only pic showing was what I wanted. The one I got is so bad they blocked it from coming up.

Sam got underway through emails and a couple calls.. Doug was awesome. He reworked my tattoo added so color for it to pop... Now fully complete. So next project planned I will be back...

I cant recommend this place enough to anyone getting piercings. Brook is about the best human ever and piercer in the surrounding areas. I have gotten several piercings from her as well as people I know. Very clean and super professional. Just an overall great atmosphere.

Working with Cheryl and the team at Eternal was great. I was able to work with Cheryl via email to establish the artwork desired and what it would cost. After making a small deposit, my appointment was scheduled with the receptionist. A few days before my appointment they called to confirm and asked if I had any questions. Not knowing if I had previous experience with tattoos, they also provided some basic information so Id be prepared for my visit. The location has ample parking. The shop is clean - an absolute must for any tattoo shop, and the staff that welcomed me friendly. Cheryl was ready for me on arrival and helped me through the informed consent form. Its been about 6 weeks since getting my tattoo. It has healed well (with no complications) and looks great! I am already planning on my next piece from Cheryl and the team at Eternal, Livonia.

Cheryl was wonderful! she was friendly, patient, and above all, a master of her craft. everyone else at the front desk was super kind too. highly recommend!

Be aware: THEY ARE CASH ONLYThey have a kind and helpful staff that is very knowledgeable. Somewhat small selection of jewelry, and the prices may seem high, but it is all of the highest quality. The location is easy to miss, the parking lot is small, and the cash only loses some points for me. There are 2 buildings, one for piercings the other for tattoos; Ive not gotten a tattoo from them, only earrings. Overall, I do recommend them for high quality jewelry for your piercings.

I’ve gotten a total of four piercings here, and I will continue to go back. I’ve had Tyler do my piercings both times, and I think he’s great. He’s very friendly and knowledgeable. I always have questions, and he’s super helpful with answering and giving good explanations.

Got my naval piercing done by Brooke. Brooke and their coworker (I’m sorry I didn’t get their name!!!) were so kind and informative. My low pain tolerance and lack of food in me did cause me to get light headed for a bit, but they were both so kind and caring and made sure I was feeling better before I even attempted to stand up. In addition, the piercing itself is perfect, especially the jewelry and it’s placement. Brooke prepared a safe and clean environment. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone and I hope to return to get my seconds in my ears! Thank you both!!!

Got two cartilage piercings here several months ago. The girl that pierced them was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was pretty nervous going in and pleasantly surprised at how little it actually hurt. Very clean place and nice people working there. Ive had no trouble at all with my piercings either so they know what theyre doing.

Tyler and Brooke in the piercing shop are amazing. Both buildings are kept super clean and everyone seems knowledgeable as well as professional. I always get my tattoos with Cheryl, she is an incredible artist to work with.

I loved this place! I was so nervous to get my nostril and trygus pierced! But seriously you guys these people are GREAT!!! From choosing the studs to the piercing everything was so smooth and ever the pain was totally fine and not as expected at all! Brooke is the best piercer ever for real! And the place is spotless!!! She was amazing and helped to put both me and my daughter at ease. It was as good of an experience as i couldve imagined. I would highly recommend Brooke for piercing without hesitation. This shop is amazing. Piercers always know what they are doing I have been pierced by many of them on multiple occasions for many years and have never had a bad experience. The shop holds a high expectation of their piercers and they never disappoint! Always a professional, clean, and comfortable enviorment. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on body modifications. It is a tad pricey compared to other shops in the area but I would gladly pay their prices and come out with a awesome piercing. Never had good experiences anywhere other than eternal!

Certified piercers and high quality jewelry. What more can you ask for? They are very down to Earth here and obviously enjoy their jobs. Both piercers have pierced me and they are both great! Brooke is very sweet and nice and Tyler is funny and straight forward. The woman who works at the front desk is really cool too I enjoy our conversations and she is helpful with finding the jewelry you want and ordering what they dont have. If you are young... make sure you have your guardian and parent. If not.... dont even try to walk through. Its illegal and they arent about to lose their business to pierce a minor. Overall: if you want the best come here!!

Brooke is AMAZINGGG!! I havent pierced my ears for 20 years and have very sensitive skin. Brooke made me feel so comfortable and has the hand of a professional. It was quick, minimally painful, and I didnt even bleed. She is that good, it was done quickly and cleanly. Following the piercing, I havent experienced any swelling or anything. I am so happy I found this place, I will never go anywhere else for future piercings! The young lady in the front was so sweet as well and helped me pick the perfect jewelry. Thanks so much!

Ive had tattoos done here before but this was a piercing today.My piercing technician was on point with everything. She was very thorough and yes, the facility was immaculately clean and tools and all were sanitized and new. The procedure went extremely well. My overall experience was great and I would recommend this place to everyone whos ready to take on the piercing experience .

Ive had multiple piercings done here and my experiences have been good. This visit, I went in to have the jewellery changed in my daith. The woman in the front wasnt exactly keen on the idea, and doubted they would do it, because it wasnt their jewellery. The piercer Brooke, however, was far more polite and charged me $5. Brook is fantastic. Shes done a dermal on me, and I really recommend her to anyone. I tipped her $5, because I believe in tipping excellent service. Id have given five stars, but the woman in front was rude. Brooke is worth five stars.

I got my septum pierced here four years ago and just got my nostril done. Both experiences were great. They are so nice and helpful and made the whole piercing process so easy and less nerve racking. Would recommend to anyone, new to piercing or veteran.

Got my septum done today at Eternal. Brooke did a fantastic job. Quick, chill, clean, and kind. She made sure I didnt have any questions unanswered before I got my piercing and before I left. Very knowledgeable and kind, I didnt feel nearly as anxious as I thought I was going to. If I ever get more piercings Ill get them done here.

I just got my septum pierced today. I was a little nervous of the pain, but it was a very safe environment and I felt comfortable the whole time I was there. I totally almost fainted too, and they were more than accommodating with ice packs and water within seconds. Tyler, the owner is a great guy and super easy to talk to! No appointment, in and out within 20 minutes. Definitely reccomend if your looking to join the cool kids club and get a piercing :^)

Literally the best experience I’ve ever had at a piercing studio. Tyler made sure I was comfortable and everything was clean and sterile. It’s so nerve racking getting a piercing and he did such an amazing job and made sure everything went perfectly and he explained everything he was doing and was so unbelievably nice. I had a session with Dennis Halbritter, and I could not be more happy with the entire experience. He is skilled, professional, clean, and detailed-oriented. The shop is kept wonderfully, and the front desk staff was also attentive to emails and extremely helpful with my scheduling questions. I will be coming back for all my future work with Dennis H. There’s nothing better than looking down at the tattoo you’re getting and being stoked about how it’s coming out.

I had my Septum pierced by Tyler about a week ago and I had a great experience. Tyler eased my nerves by reassuring me that hed pierce me in my sweet spot and not the cartilage without me even having to ask. The piercing turned out perfectly and I am in love with it! The place as a whole was very clean and the girl up front was nice and informative as well.

Staff was so nice and my piercer made me comfortable and cracked a few jokes. Getting my septum pierced was quite scary knowing that some piercers dont pierce the “Sweet Spot” but they definitely know what they are doing here. I 10/10 recommend :-)

Ive been thinking about getting a nose piercing for a couple months now and today I finally decided to do it. I was a little nervous, but Brooke did a great job of explaining the process and aftercare and I was in and out with my cool new jewelry really quickly! Id definitely recommend this place.

I am extremely happy with my new piercing. It was my first real one (other than my ear lobes) and I was a little bit nervous. But they answered all of my questions and they did an amazing job. They were very knowledgable about everything and it was completely sterile. I love my new rook piercing I will always go there from now on!

My piercer was Tyler and he did a great job. Even though I have like 15 piercings already I walked in nervous and the ladies upfront were super friendly non judgmental and very helpful. Tyler was very clean with his materials and calmed me down, he could see I was nervous and couldnt relax. I laid back and he told me take a deep breath and that was a wrap. A small pinch and a tear later I walked out happy! I definitely recommend this place especially for newbies. Great place!! Btw I got my nose pierced

Ive gotten my nostril pierced and two cartilage piercings done here. I cant say enough positive things about this place! I went in today after ~ 5 months since my cartilage piercing and 3 months since my nostril to get a jewelry change and I was unable to get it done because Tyler checked and said they werent quite healed enough and he didnt want to send me home only have me return with some angry piercings in a few days. I am SO grateful I chose to come here where I know I cant trust the staff and have a spectacular experience every time.

This was one of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had! Scott, my tattoo artist, was so professional and neat! The shop was very clean, and the staff was kind and professional. I will be getting ALL my ink here from now on!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Both piercers are so kind, reassuring, and make you feel the upmost comfort while you’re in their shop. They also don’t mind answering questions or assisting you in any way. And I am not the only one to think so- all others that I know that have been pierced by them will stand by them and this shop 100%. Not only are the people great but they also have an awesome selection of great quality, lasting, beautiful jewelry to choose from. You don’t have to start off with the boring barbell/ rings here- they have so many cute captive beads and ionized barbells! When I made my move to Michigan and discovered them there will be no other place I go to! Thanks for the awesome, caring work you guys do!

I had my nose pierced there for the birthday then this year I got a tattoo for my birthday everyone was really nice and Doug did a great job on my tattoo. He made me feel comfortable and calm while doing my tattoo. I will be coming sometime to get my nose changed.

Brook did my nose piercing and shes amazing. She is very professional and clean. If its your first time or youre an old pro looking for a new shop, I highly recommend coming here.

I got my ears pierced and its my second time going to this location they are awesome and very knowledgeable and hygienic. The only thing that I dont like is that both times when I went there they didnt have all of their jewelry available so you have to come back and you want a certain style or call ahead. I have my inner conch and two helixes pierced

I was in Dearborn from out of town and decided to go here to have my nose pierced. I was pretty anxious, but the gal who did it calmed me down and made it a lot easier than I had expected. I had some questions before leaving for home the next day and planned on stopping by. Long story short, I experienced a string of pretty bad luck driving from the hotel back to the shop. The same two gals from the previous day were there and very kindly took the time to comfort me after they had asked me how my day was going and I answered by starting to cry. I love my piercing, but Id recommend going here just for what they did that day alone.

The staff is very professional. I have the most Beautiful tattoos ever, given by Trent Thompson. I would recommend him over and over again. I am constantly stopped and asked about the work that Trent has done for me. I am proud to own these beautiful pieces of artwork!!!

Super friendly and informative. Already had my piercings done years ago, but they helped me find a new nose hoop and a tragus piercing. Very gentle when they put the piercings in.Only thing is they have a $5 charge for using credit cards, but still worth it because of the awesome customer service. Thanks again!

He’s super chill and one of the coolest guys to chat with while getting tatted. Also making the experience as comfortable as possible, well as comfortable as tattoos can get. I have had two daith piercings done at Eternal in the past and my daughter had her nostril pierced there as well. I was very pleased with our previous experiences and I always recommend Eternal to others; however, my daughter and I returned to Eternal this past Saturday and we received very poor customer service. We waited for 6 people in front of us. We kept having to request the receptionist to come over to help us and felt as if we were bothering her. She took care of people that came in after us first and then when we finally got her attention, she said, I have to go to the bathroom and just took off. We left the studio, drove to another studio within a mile away and got two cartridge piercings and a nostril piercing $20-$25 cheaper per piercing and outstanding customer service. Really disheartened with the service at Eternal Saturday. 😞

Joey did such an AMAZING job! He got exactly what I was looking for & had pictured. Looks exactly how Id always thought it would right down to the details. Getting a lot of compliments, people asking where I went & even wanting to use my tattoo as a ref. For their own. Thank you so much Joey for an outstanding job! Shop has a nice selection of jewelry, clean, and both piercers that works with me were very professional. However, I was a little put off when I walked in, and was not greeted or asked what I needed Etc. Personally, Im a little fussy about that, it made me want to go somewhere else but I was already there. Again, the piercers were excellent though.

I emailed the shop and went out on a limb to see if TJ could do a tattoo I have been wanting for almost two years that day. I had anticipated having to schedule it for the future which I would have happily done but that day was the day my divorce was final. Long story short, he got me in and my tattoo is so beautiful and better than I anticipated!! His quality of work is incredibly detailed and he makes sure it’s done right and at its best! Everyone in the shop were super sweet and it was really clean! Hands down I will travel 45 mins and plan to come back to have TJ do more! I will be recommending TJ and the shop to everyone I know!

Came in for one piercing and left with two! Tyler was my piercer and was really funny and a pleasure to talk to as he poked my face with holes. I got the conch piercing on a last minute whim just before walking out and it is so pretty! I feel transformed lol. He also addressed my prior rejected piercings I got pierced and then re-pierced the second and third time from other shops around Detroit. Don’t be like me looking for the most convenient deal. Quality > Quantity.

I had my first tattoo done by Doug about two weeks ago. He did a really good job. My friend who was with me, was more nervous than I was about me getting it. lol. It was a good experience. And Im glad that Doug was recommended to me.

I walked in, and asked about an industrial piercing. She barely looked at me, did not stand up or ask me to look at my ears or anything. After looking at me for maybe a couple seconds after I asked, she said a blunt no, and didnt give an explanation or give other options for piercings. The receptionist was very rude to me. I went to another piercing place, even ready to get another piercing if needed. Though they said I was actually well equipped for the the piercing, and they did a great job, as well as being much more kind. Maybe she was just having a bad day, so Id like to give the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately overall I had a bad experience.

Cheryl Tash is phenomenal! I could not have been happier with her precision and execution of the work she did. The shop is very clean, comfortable and fun. Would highly recommend anyone check them out. Will defiantly be back! Check them out. They are the best in Metro Detroit!

Against what I had heard, I went to this shop anyway. When I was there, I was there 30 minutes just to get a nose ring retainer, with one person in front of me in line. The gal was very friendly with the man doing pericings and not helping the customer. She had very poor customer service skills but I needed what I needed. This was a frustrating slow experience, only to get home and find out I was sold the wrong product. When I called first thing I was told no returns, which I do undertand. I do however think they should offer SOMETHING to people when THEY sell the wrong product to the customer. All I got was yet another snotty worker that just kept saying there was a sign. Yes, but not my point. Horrible customer service, if your looking for GOOD customer service I suggest MEAN INK IN WAYNE ON WAYNE ROAD, they were willing to make Eternals mistake right, in hopes of a customer, which Eternal should be happy anyone is coming there with all the bad press. I do not suggest going here.

I read all the great reviews about this place, so I decided to take my step son and wife there to get a tattoo. Along with myself. But the girl at the counter had no interest in showing us sample. She was interested in getting eternal tattoo $1000 worth of work. So to give a star, isnt even politically correct. I guess Im taking our tattoos somewhere else.

I scheduled my first tattoo appointment with dee white. She did not explain to me that the deposit was non-refundable. When i tried to cancel the appointment she would not give me my money back and then ignored my messages. She then tried to force me to get a tattoo that i no longer wanted. this ruined my experience with getting a tattoo. very unprofessional. 0/10

Brooke is absolutely beyond amazing but when it comes to Tyler he is so disrespectful and rude this is the second time he has been rude when I’ve came into the store. The first time I came in to ask a question about my piercing and went to go and point at my piercing and he yelled out “don’t touch it,never touch it. Your hands are disgusting.” First off I know not to randomly touch my piercing with dirty hands, it’s just like trying to take out contacts without washing my hands. I DON’T DO THAT. So him yelling that was uncalled for and today my sister wanted to get her nose repierced and he tells us that he needs our ids and her birth certificate so we ask can’t he just look her up in the system and once again he get loud saying he needs both. So my question is what was the point of taking a copy of it and putting it away in some file? He is just overall really unpleasant. So I recommend going whenever Brooke is there. Call and ask for her!!

My sister, aunt, and myself all had tatoos in memory of my father done a year ago and werent completely happy with them. We saw kevin today to fix them. We showed him a few pictures for ideas and he completely free hand drew up a cover up for us that was perfect! He did an amazing job and was hilarious and made us all feel super comfortable. I relly hope that this is not a sign of declining business performance.
