Blue Lotus Tattoo & Piercing

I took my 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced today. When I called, I spoke with Bolton their piercer, and he answered all of my questions. When we got there, Bolton greeted us and was very kind. He was very gentle, patient, and informative, letting my daughter know everything he was doing. She said it didn’t hurt and there were no tears. Not only was I impressed with his work , but also with how clean the place was, and how welcoming everyone was. We will absolutely return if we want any tattoos/piercings. I can’t thank them enough for the amazing experience we had today.

Asia & Dalton were amazing and very informative and overall sweethearts. First tattoo (matching family tats) and we love how it turned out. Cant wait to come back and get more!

Absolutely fantastic shop! First time getting a tattoo, and they took care of me. Calmed my nerves by talking with me during the whole process. The artwork is a billion times better than I could have ever imagined. Seth seriously was the best artist to work with. Will definitely go back!

I had an appointment scheduled at 1:30 with Catie. She texted me at 1 asking to push my appointment to 2 because her client before me was running late. I agreed, even though I had already been waiting around Lufkin for my appointment. I show up at 2 and she is still tattooing her other client. I sat and waited for 40 minutes before deciding to leave. If someone else misses their appointment time, reschedule them. Not your other client. I had rearranged my day and taken off work early for my appointment all to wind up not getting tattooed.

My fair maidens piercing, once marred by an uneven hand, was masterfully restored by this skilled artisan. He patiently adjusted the stencil to her liking, dispelling her every concern. I commend his artistry and shall undoubtedly seek his services for future adornments.

I went months ago and got 2 piercings and Rocky was so gentle and walked me thru the process even tho this was not my first rodeo with piercings. He is the G.O.A.T and even gave me advice of which piercing would be best/ look good. He matched my left side with my right side perfect, as I had that did years ago.They healed beautiful Rocky thank you so much... I def recommend this shop and Rocky for piercings. So hopefully they actually showed up, because I got/get so many compliments and asking where I got them done. I got the left side piercing and the vertical labret piercing. I already had the right side lip piercing. The shop is very clean and everyone is very nice and make u feel welcome. Thank You Rocky 😊

He was very respectful, his facility was clean and very sanitary. He had no issue with doing a tattoo I designed and I told him to tweak it a little if he thought it needed a little improvement. I cant stand pain, but he made me so comfortable and I felt little. I highly recommend this man and I absolutely adore my tattoo!

Went in for a triple helix and left extremely happy it’s been two days with very minimal swelling and the jewelry is sitting very well I don’t touch/reposition my jewelry for at least a week and I do light aftercareThis is what it looks like with no ibuprofen

I was so excited to get my second tattoo. I made the appointment and put down a deposit with the artist. If I recall correctly his name was Dalton. First off he was not professional, and he was extremely flirty. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Secondly he didnt give me the design I showed him, the tattoo doesnt look too great and seems incomplete. The shading wasnt done and it was overall a terrible experience. I do not reccomend this shop or artist to anyone.

Regan and Gillian were amazing! I would recommend them to anyone! They were super personable. The rest of the staff made the visit fun and enjoyable as well.

I got tattooed by Carley. I asked for a traditional rose. The design and stencil looked great, but the color wasn’t traditional. Overall I like it but that detail turned a traditional tattoo into a non traditional. Also it was a little overpriced. I don’t mind paying those prices but again, it wasn’t what I wanted. I personally hesitate to return unless they get a good traditional artist.

Went for a septum piercing, I plan to return for a tattoo as well, given how well my piercing went. Rocky performed the piercing and was very patient and informative about the after care and what to do if it falls out and the like. It was quick and easy, no fuss or hesitation to answer any questions Id had. The shop itself is welcoming and has a good atmosphere and I recommend Blue Lotus when people ask.

Took my daughter to get her 1st piercing. Rocky was amazing. I went ahead and signed up for a piercing for myself! The whole shop is a vibe!

Very good job, we drive from Cushing and the shop in lufkin in my opinion is much better then the one in nac. They accept cards and usually have time for us.

Brought both my daughters there for ear piercings, each one on a separate day. They staff are really friendly. My wait time for my daughters piercings was almost non existent. Highly recommend

This place is amazing! I went to get a new tattoo and to get an old one touched up. Carley did amazing work. I’m in love with the details she added. Also these people are so nice. When we went to leave my car battery had died and they went out of their way to help us. When jumping us off didn’t work they drove us to the auto store and even installed my new battery For me. Nicest people ever. They have definitely earned all my future business!

Seth did an amazing job. He was extremely polite and always had a smile on his face for everyone who walked in the door. My tattoo took two hours and Seth made sure I was comfortable and taken care of the entire time. And my tattoo looks absolutely PERFECT!

A group of 4 of us came in on a Saturday for walk in tattoos and 1 piercing. Even though they were super busy everyone was in a good mood and friendly. Carly did all 4 of our tattoos and we left extremely happy and with plans to come back for more work. I unfortunately didnt catch the guys name that pierced me but he was awesome and made me feel completely comfortable. Definitely one of the best shops Ive been to and will be coming back soon!

I took my teenage daughter to get her nose pierced. As soon as we walked in the door, we were immediately greeted by female tattoo artist. I don’t know her name, but she had really pretty hair! Then a gentleman walked out & asked us what he can do to help us. We told them what we needed, he gave us the paperwork to fill out then another guy whose name is Rocky was actually the person who pierced my daughter’s nose. of course my daughter was incredibly scared & nervous. Rocky was nothing but patient, kind, & told her everything from taking care of her nose, to what to do if it falls out, to come back to blue Lotus if any discomfort or any questions & I have to say he went above! maybe he’s always like that. I’m not sure, but he definitely helped my daughter be at ease.Y’all please don’t go to Walmart or Claire’s to get your children’s piercing or your own piercing. Those places are not clean & they have no idea what they are doing! even if you don’t go to Blue Lotus, which I really hope you do, because the experience was perfect! Please go see a tattoo artist for your piercing.Also, We were a walk-in for the nose piercing. No appointment needed at this time.

Ive been pierced here on two separate occasions now (March 2020) and today. Both times the experience has been amazing. Always patient, always clean, explain everything, take the time to make sure piercings are even and spaced perfectly, and always low pain. I will always make the drive from Nac to get pierced here. Absolutely my go-to!

Got the beginnings of a Star Wars sleeve started and nearing completion of the first character, Darth Revan. The pictures below are progress shots which will be update with completed shots later on.

Both of my daughters were wanting piercings, one second lobe piercings and the other a Helix piercing (upper ear in cartilage) one ear. I did some research on places in Lufkin before choosing Blue Lotus and Im happy that I made the decision to come here! They are located at 404 E Denman across from triple A-trophy. They have a very pleasant store. VERY CLEAN! They even cleaned the piercing station between doing each of my daughters piercings! They ONLY use needles to do their piercings and my girls acted as though it didnt hurt nearly as bad as what the guns do. After seeing this process Id recommend it to anyone. The staff was very friendly from the time we walked in to the time we walked out the door. Bolton did the girls piercing and explained the process as he was doing it and answered every question I asked very respectfully. Id definitely recommend coming to Blue Lotus Tattoo and Piercing.

I got my forward helix and tragus pierced yesterday. Bolton was very patient and informative. He made me feel really comfortable! My ears aren’t sore at all, so he knows what he is doing. I recommended this place if you are going to get any piercings! Thank you Bolton fr! 💕

I got my third tattoo here and it was a beautiful watercolor piece. It’s hands down my favorite tattoo. The art work is clean, lines are precise, and the colors are so vibrant. I will never go anywhere but here again. I love the work, atmosphere, and Steven is so nice and helpful. And he talks to you throughout the whole process. I’ve recommended this place to multiple people already. 3 piercings and 1 tattoo later, and I’m way beyond hooked. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.

Both my husband and I got tattoos done here. I am beyond thrilled with the final result. He made the time to meet with us to discuss what we wanted, took the ideas we had, and transformed them into true art. His skill with the needle is astonishing. I am amazed by his use of color, shading ability, and just the simple ability to take our ideas to create our pieces. His shop is immaculately clean and sanitary. You wont regreat having him do your next tattoo.

This is my first I got with blue lotus, and my tattooist was Dalton. Very friendly service he communicated with me during the process, and kept his work area clean so wasn’t nervous about him placing a forever work of art on me. I’d recommend blue lotus everytime. Never a doubt they will give you quality service!!

I went to shop to to get a tattoo. The shop is small but amazingly clean. Blue Lotus is fully licensed in the State of Texas. Everything was sterile and clean. Not to mention he is an amazing artist. Beautiful work. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

For last a last minute, late decision to get some work done, this shop did not disappoint!! Was willing to take the walk in and what i wanted knowingly it would go over closing time with out hesitation. Dillion is absolutely amazing he legit listened and was so open to what i wanted and instead of criticizing or avoiding difficult design/my semi indecisiveness he took it on and then some. No hesitation and had patience with me. This guy takes pride in his art and it shows! His hand work is amazing, location and size along with detail of what he did, barely any tenderness. Skin not over worked, minor redness which despite where it is was gone with legit few minutes of completion. The shop is more than just clean or sanitary enough to meet standards. It is neat, welcoming and has a chill, open vibe. Was immediately comfortable upon entry. Dillion listened to expectations and exceeded. His creativity is beyond awesome, the personal touches and details not just his but from paying attention to clients personal feelings about their ideas and his drawing abilities that brings his art to life on a new level. The finished art he created on my wrist/forearm he gave me turned to be a wickedly beautiful representation of the meaning behind my idea! I legit could have cried seeing it fully completed. Definitely have my business and be my only go to artist as long as available and will be advertising for these guy. They deserve it! Blue Lotus and Dillion yall are legit! Thanks for providing something not just satisfied to have but madly in love with, and the therapy of getting it done.

I called to see if I could apprentice as a piercer there and as I was talking to the manager he was asking me questions I felt that were understandable, but they weren’t relevant to the position. His tone of voice was nonchalant and after this very short and brief questionnaire, he wastes my time by saying he wasn’t looking for an apprentice and hangs up in my face, when he could have said that in the beginning. And just so everyone know an apprentice it’s just someone who is looking for guidance and training in a field not that they are the teacher.

Great daith piercing! Had to take mine out for surgery so it grew up. Got it redone with very little pain and within days my migraines were gone.
