The Black Spot Crew is THE BEST!!! You will not find another tattoo shop with this type of atmosphere. There is a sign that says, “you can’t price match the experience!” That is such a true statement. I have been tattooed at Black Spot Tattoo Company over a dozen times and by multiple artists there. Each of them have their own unique style and personality. I love them all!This is my favorite method of tattooing. It heals faster and honestly hurts less than a machine tattoo. The conversations with all the artists and other folks in the shop create the overall amazing experience. Whether you are looking to get your first tattoo or your 100th tattoo, you should check out the Black Spot Crew to see what they can do for you. These folks are part of my family at this point.

WOW!!! What an impressive shop!! The team here is so kind and friendly and of course Katie did an amazing job on my tattoo!!! I like.....cant get over how much I love it lol. The shop itself is so cute and welcoming with lots of windows and natural light and PLANTS! I live in houston but absolutely would not mind making the drive back at some point to get more done!! I cannot recommend Black Spot often enough! The people here are great and you will quickly become a part of the family. Very laid back, chill environment and none of the awkwardness of some tattoo places, a real breath of fresh air. Artists here are ON POINT and highly skilled. Hand Poked is where its at man... A++, Highly Recommended, 5 Stars, and all that good stuff!

Definitely will be going back! It was my 1st time experiencing the poking technique, and that would be the only way I will be getting my tattoos now! Shouout to Zander for making my experience a great one!

I love Black Spot! Ive gotten two of my tattoos from them and so has my husband, and each time has been an extremely pleasant experience. I love the hand poking method, its much quieter so you can hold a conversation and it heals faster. The designs are always wonderful and the shop itself has a wonderful atmosphere. Ill definitely be returning for all my tattooing needs.

I love everything about Black Spot Tattoo Company! They are extremely welcoming and super friendly. The artwork that Marki and the others artists design is amazing and breathtaking. The shop is beautiful beyond words, with enjoyable music, fun conversations, laughter, and even a beverage if you need one to quench your thirst. This place was so inviting. I enjoyed the talented staff and, frankly, the entire atmosphere of the place. I am very pleased with my tattoo, and I will probably go back for another... even living an hour and a half away. It was totally worth it!

This place is absolutely amazing! Caitlin did a fantastic job making me feel so comfortable and her artwork is fantastic. Im so honored to have her art on me. She’s super friendly and so are the other artists and owner. They have a very cozy laid back environment as well.

Amazing tattoo parlor for a true traditional experience. It is a sit and poke style like they did before machines. Staff is very friends and masters of their crafts. This was my second visit and definitely not my last! And I drove 2+ hours for the appointment, trust me you will be happy with their work!

Ive gotten several tattoos here and I cant express how much this place is awesome. The artists are very friendly and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. The tattoos that they do are top tier.

A clean, beautiful facility with amazing artists. As of this review, Black Spot is the only machine free tattoo shop in Texas. Black Spot provides a safe, comfortable environment and a really cool hangout spot in their new location. They are willing to help you figure out the details of your next tattoo, and give lots of aftercare instructions for best results. Hand poke (the style of tattoo they use) has a much faster healing time than machine tattoos, and they are incredibly unique, as hand poke isnt terribly popular here in the West yet. For your next tattoo, or your first, consider Black Spot. Theyll take good care of you.

All the people that work there is awesome. David is the one that designed and did my tattoo. This was my very first one, I love it. Its a sea turtle with a sunflower on the shell. I would recommend Black Spot to everyone.

I love this place and I mean it 100% on March 7th, 2018 I got my very own first time ever tattoo. Its in honor of my mother for she had a crescent moon tattoo and I wanted something like hers in my style of color to honor her. Everyone at Black Spot is so friendly and kind made me feel safe. They honored my request and designed a crescent moon for me by David he was so kind and nice. He did the design and outline of my tattoo. Sarah was amazing she did my coloring and chose the perfect shades if purple I wanted she was also very professional with her coloring I was amazed. I would recommend to anyone to go with the hand poke technique. It does not hurt at all, its still the same needle a tattoo gun uses but its not as intense to your skin or cuts your skin. Healing time is much much quicker, there is hardly any swelling or irritation. If I do get more I am coming back to these guys 100% for sure!!! Also they are very very fair in their pricing as well and they work with you because this is your body and something permanent. Also do something original that has meaning to you dont follow trends its more fun and personal if you do something original then go with a trend. Great staff they dont use machines for their tattoos they use traditional tap and stick style..... awesome work!A little pricey but for the style and quality of work well worth it.

Love this place! I highly recommend anyone getting or even thing of getting a tattoo to give them a call and come by the shop. You wont be disappointed at all, they all do amazing work!
