Beyond Taboo Tattoo

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in wanting a tattoo that had a very special meaning behind it. I gave the artist the picture and told him exactly what I wanted. Instead, he decided to make choppy lines, the face proportionally incorrect, and just shade the entire thing to mask his horrible line work. I have asked the owner for a refund as I was charged $300 for two small tattoos, both messed up. The other tattoo was a skull that doesn’t even have teeth, just random squiggly lines. And he overshaded that one as well. I’ve tried to be nice but all they told me was wait 3 weeks and then they can try to add color to it to see if that makes it better. How can color make a face look better when the lips are on one side of the face and the chin is on the other. I have pictures of everything. And I think it is unfair that I now have to pay someone else to cover up this work because I won’t have this stuck on my body forever.

Great prices on body jewelry. My daughter got 3 piercings at different times. The last, however, got infected and had to take out. But I dont think that was the piercers fault at all. Havent gotten a tattoo there though, so cant comment on that. In and out within 30 minutes.

I was a walk in for a small tattoo and had several different ideas as to what I wanted. We finally settled on something simple, and Bird recommended some gorgeous colors fading into one another to give the tattoo more interest. He was very friendly and professional and did a great job. I will definitely be back when I want another tattoo, which will be soon. They guy who worked the front was very patient and helpful with my choosing of the size of my tattoo and design.

Yhe guy that pierced the daith was vety friendly. When the ball fell out of the piercing they replaced it and even looked at my ear for any kind of infection. Highly recommend

Showed up at 3pm today (Sunday) to get 2 piercings. Was told needed birth certificate since mine and daughters last names didnt match. Thats fine, so I drove back to Forsyth, 30 mins away, came back. When I walked in at 4pm, I was told they were closed. I mentioned online it says open until 6pm. And that I just drove another hour to get the birth certificate. All he said is Im short staffed and alone here. There was one other person in the store. It wasnt crazy busy and knowing I just all the way back it would have been great to stay another 20 minutes to do the piercing. Or at least told when I was there the first time that he may close early. Waste of my time, gas and energy. Very unprofessional!!

My daughter wanted to get the upper part of her ear pierced....fyi if the person is under 18 in GA you had better have their birth certificate on hand.

Just left the shop because I was waiting for a whole hour to get a piercing. White man with dreads was up front and never asked did I need help and instead assumed I was with all the other black people in the lobby as if there isn’t a sign in sheet for the purpose of helping customers. Two white people walked in and were immediately helped before anyone even spoke to me. What the hell is the point of a sign in sheet if you’re not going to use it to call people up? I have gotten many piercings here before and have never had a bad experience until now which is why this is so shocking to me. If your service pertains workers lumping me with people who happen to look like me and not doing their job then I’d rather go somewhere else.

Previous inked at Beyond Taboo. I came all the way from Greenville, SC to get this new addition to my chest. I recently moved to the area and I wanted to inquire about getting more ink and I was DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED that I stood waiting for someone to even acknowledge that I was even inside the lobby area. The lady was friendly. When the seemingly angry Tattoo Artist finally came to answer my question about price and schedule. While I tried showing a photo of the design I was cut off and told I have NO INTEREST in doing the Tattoo. I asked the lady if another artist was available to answer my question. He seemed more friendly. Though after looking at the design he seemed like he wasnt interested in doing the tattoo either though after explaining I was a returning customer he said he would be able to do it in 3-4 weeks and gave me a price of $500-$550. (EXCLUDING; RAZOR, STENCIL, GREENSOAP, A&D & COVER PATCH) A single color of ink(red wine), A single needle(9RL) & 30min chair time at most. Is all that would be needed to tattoo basically a grid of blocks on HALF (1/2) of my Right Arm between the wrist and the elbow... I am not sure if Ratt is still the owner or not but hed never let a returning customer or EASY MONEY just walk out the door after being rude and unwelcoming to the customer.

Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. I got two helix piercings, and everything seemed very clean and well prepared. A month later theyve given me no trouble at all. The piercer was one of the nicest people Ive ever met.

The person at the front desk was so awesome and willing to answer all our questions about their services. Morgan did mine and my partners piercings and I’m not gonna lie this was the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. She was quick, funny, relatable, and made me feel so comfortable with everything. Got my opinion on placement, told me how much it would hurt, and was done before I even knew she started! I highly recommend going here for any piercings. The pricing was super reasonable too.

I was extremely scared worried and anxious to get my ears pireced with a needle and not the gun. Crawly was amazing. I would go to him again if I get body piercing. It never hurt and he was very helpful in making me feel at ease. I love this place and the staff was very knowledgeable about their industry.

Called about my nose ring falling out and the lady was so helpful she put it back and I didn’t feel it. She told me it was still irritated and to continue to clean it and care for it. The shop is very clean and the people seem to care.

Got both a tattoo (from Birdsong!) and a piercing, both came out fantastic. All the staff I interacted with both visits were wonderful, friendly, and super helpful. 10/10, will most likely be back at some point 🙂

The staff here is amazing. I had my child with me who couldnt come into the room and a staff memeber sat with him during the 5 minute piercing so I could keep my appointment. Thank you thank you. A lot of places would have turned me away. Super thorough with after care instructions and the process was quick and clean. I highly recommend them and will be back for more.

They people here are very professional, try very hard to get you in and out in a timely manner. One of the artist came out and asked if anyone was waiting for a tattoo, then preceded to call the next person on the list. They dont make you wait in the lobby if there is a wait for what you want done. They ask you to leave your number and they will call when your next in line. I think they realize people have busy schedules and dont hold them from doing what they want.

I got my first tattoo here from Josh about a year ago and I got my ears pierced here today by Morgan. Every time Ive come to the shop Ive had a comfortable and welcoming experience. The people who work here are all cool and genuine people. The shop is clean and tend to be a pretty chill environment. The artists and piercers are very professional and take care in what they do. Its my go to shop, you know once I have the money. Speaking of money the prices are very reasonable too.

These guys are great! Morgan pierced my ears twice now and shes very good. Reasonable pricing also. I would definitely recommend this place as it is clean and everyone is very nice. Also dont forget to tip your piercer.

My sister and I drove from Dooly County because this place was a recommendation for a nose piercing. I think her name was Jackie but she was amazing, she talked us through the whole process and made my sister and I feel very comfortable. She had the magic touch, one quick stick that was not painful at all. So glad this place was recommended to us. I have recommended this place to several friends because they love my nose piercing so much.

I went there for a piercing and they were beyond wonderful. They quickly got me in without an appointment, the equipment was all clean and came straight from new packaging. They answered all of my questions and made me feel so at ease. I had to come back for longer jewelry for my piercing because it was causing a bubble around the piercing and they did it quickly and free of charge. I am beyond impressed with this place as a whole. Would definitely recommend them.

Walked into this location to get a nostril piercing with my husband. Friendly people, clean environment, and knowledgeable staff. Morgan did amazing on me and my husbands piercings. It only took a few seconds and wasnt even painful, just a small pinch. She knew exactly was she was doing and made us feel comfortable. It was over before I knew it started. Will definitely go back to Morgan for future piercings.

Called on a Monday to ask about bringing my daughter in to get her ears pierced. I was told to bring her birth certificate and my drivers license and I didnt need to schedule an appointment. I advised my daughter is 7, can she still have her ears pierced. I was told yes. Asked again and verified again that she can still get it done since she is 7. Was again told yes. Get there, no one in the front for walk in customers. Waited 20 minutes before someone came from the back. Handed her the birth certificate and my ID for her to make a copy for their records. She handed me a consent form and told me that my MINOR child needed to sign it. There was actually a line that had CHILD SIGNATURE on it. When I questioned about a minor signing a consent form, I was told that I can read it and explain it to her but my child needed to sign and initial the form. I then pointed out that my child is 7 and cannot sign any type of consent form. She then handed me my documents back and said they couldnt do her ears since shes under 8. Despite the fact that there is absolutely NO Georgia law saying children have to wait until 8 years old to get their ears pierced. Despite the fact that I verified TWICE that it could be done on a 7 year old. So not only does your staff not know what your policies are but youre also having minor children sign forms that they are not able to sign for because they are MINORS. Definitely wont ever try to use them again.

I had two piercings done here and I couldnt be happier!! Had a great experience with the piercer, she seemed very educated on the piercings and procedures and the piercings were quick and smooth! Ive had them for a week now and they are healing up perfectly! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

My grandbaby got a piercing but the young lady that did it was patient, professional, and very understanding of her hesitations. My favorite part as a grandparent was that she constantly repeated the cleaning instructions. Thank you. I would highly recommend this place.

This tattoo shop is fantastic. I came in with a picture that I wanted smaller and Joshua Dred perfectly redesigned it. He and his coworkers were very professional and inviting with a very clean and nice shop. Joshua did a wonderful job, with a very light touch. I went here to get a Vertical hood piercing, which is a piercing on a private female area. Walking in the guy working was Very welcoming and overall Extremely professional. I told him what I was wanting, he asked for my ID, gave me the paperwork and explained it. I filled it out while he got everything ready, paid and went into the room. He made me feel Very Comfortable, which you can imagine having to remove all clothing on the lower half of your body is awkward. I did not feel uncomfortable at all, he explained everything that was going to happen, answered my questions. Then he told me what he was doing before/while he was doing it. The whole procedure was surprising simple and painless compared to getting my lip pierced. I was preparing for quite a bit of pain but it wasnt bad at all. It was a quick pinch, then a slightly worse sting when pulling the needle through to put the bar in place. It wasnt sore at work the next day, just a little sting if I moved a certain way. Aftercare is also very simple. Id honestly get this piercing done 5 times before getting my lip pierced again. This place was Amazing, Id gladly go back again for piercings or tattoos. Super Clean, Professional, Great at explaining the procedures, comfortable atmosphere, and Overall Great Place.

My belly button ring was ripped out and the hole finally healed so I needed a new piercing. The lady at Beyond Taboo was amazing. It looks great and she did the piercing fast so it didnt hurt as bad as it has in the past. Very professional. If you need a piercing, dont trust just anyone :)

Ive gotten 2 piercings and a tattoo done by them. They are very professional and quick to see to you, even when the place is packed. Peak hours are usually late Friday evening and Saturday. I always get my piercings from here, except this last time, but I ended up coming back to Beyond Taboo about a concern I had about my piercing (really regretting not coming to them in the first place). My girlfriend has had every piercing and tattoo done here, the staff is really friendly and flexible. Morgan changed my daith and tragus piercings and it didn’t even bother me. Although when I went in my daith was still a little sore. (I had my piercings done somewhere else )I’ll be going back for all my tattoo and piercings in the future. The place was clean, the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was really nice!!!!

Everybody should get their tattoos done by Beyond Taboo Tattoo. They have different tattoos you can choose from if you dont know what you want or looking for. It gives you an idea of what you might like and they also a tattoo book so you can what like and gives you an idea.The first I got it done yesterdayyesterday and I love it. The fourth one I got it done a year or two or three years ago I cant remember. But I love both of them. They are great people and its a great shop to go to. But maybe a little expensive but they do a great job. The third one is a drawing that I drew thats where my inspiration for my second tattoo thats on my bicep.

Sabrina did my tattoo and she did an PHENOMENAL job !! I am so in love with it! She was fantastic and was willing to stay after close to finish up my work. She really listens to exactly what you want!! I will be going back to her for my next tattoo

I came in for my first tattoo and I expected to be treated like any another customer. And instead the person who did me had overcharged me. He charged 90 dollars for a small tattoo. And I didnt know that was way too much. I love the symbol but I wont ever come here again.

My Tattooist was K.C. Jones.. he is worth every penny I paid took very great care of me and walked me through everything he was thinking about doing. And he was able to get great start on redoing an old Tattoo.

I had to get my bars changed within the first few days because of a tiny bar being used to start with. I started having an allergic reaction to the cheap jewelry. I went to another shop that said one of my nipples were pierced too deep and it may be ugly if I don’t take it out. You get what you pay for

The guy at the front desk has the worst customer service . I walk up to the front desk, the place is crowded. I ask how long was the wait for a piercing. He had an attitude and was extremely rude. If you can’t handle the pressure of customers asking you how long of a wait. You shouldn’t be doing customer service.

I got my tongue pierced here, and I havent had any problems. My piercer was clean and friendly throughout the process. Not sure about tattoos as I dont have one from here, but as far as piercings go, I recommend them.

I got my nipples pierced here and the bar is too big and the piercings are uneven and one is too deep. Have to remove both of them and get them re-pierced. Definitely will not be coming back.

The professional pierced my daith too deep causing mass inflammation and large amounts of pain. Not from the area of Macon Georgia. So I called to see if they could help me, they were extremely rude and UNprofessional. I have had many piercings in my life. I have never experienced something this traumatic. My aunt receive the same piercing as well. She ended up on the Er with doctors bills and needed time off of work.

It was awesome, even when some areas where kind off guard they mad me laugh even when I wanted to cry. It was not tears of the pain, but of the meaning of the tattoo itself since I lost my last parent (mom) almost a month when we did that beautiful masterpiece.My artist also gave me my divorce name removal. I was tickled in ink.💋😁Come and check it out.

My Tattoo artist was Joshua Dred all I can say is he did a wonderful job he was so nice and while I was getting my tattoo he was very gentle I could barley feel it he took the time to make sure everything was perfect I would definitely recommend him and I will be back

I want here to get my tongue pierced and at first I was a little nervous but they pierced it correctly. And now my tongue is healed without infection, I love my piercing. I will be going back for any other piercings.

I called and they told me to come in and when I got there I had to wait 1hour and 30 mins and then he comes to my car and say his appointments are coming in I was the only person left as a walk in and it was 4:34 so if someone had an appointment they were already late. No service was rendered to me so I just sat patiently for a hour and a half for nothing

Went to get tattoos with my bff on 5/19/18. The piercer johnny depp looking guy was doing meth WHILE working. Was 100% disrespectful the whole time.. my bff asked to see jewerly multiple times and he allowed her to. She ever bought a few.. she asked again right before we were about to get our tattoos, he went and done his meth and came back even more rude, and denied showing it to her... and started flipping out bc she got the jewerly herself to look at and buy.... he was rude the moment we got there. My bffs bf was with us. Naturally her boyfriend defended us for him being so rude, yelling at us etc... horrible customer service from this guy!!!!

It is a male piercing person here who just make sure he does the bare minimum it’s horrible I hate coming in and here and havin to ask him anything unprofessional an no customer service at all

Let me say this i dont know if the person there was a real tattoo artist or just didnt feel like working now that i look at it even tho it was my first tattoo even tho its mine and i did learn to live with it.....its not detail at all nor close to wad i wanted now when i tell people how much i pay for it they always say that i should have went with someone lesson learn tho

Bad artists and liars, I got a tattoo done there thats supposed to say uncle. He put the words too close and it looks like another word, promised he would fix it for free. Had me coming back and forth and calling and never kept his word. I would not recommend this place. I hate when people ask me whats that word? Waste.
