David is amazing! Ive wanted this tattoo for YEARS and finally found the right artist for the job. It is a memorial tattoo for a few family members that are no longer with us. The tattoo is absolutely gorgeous and David was awesome to work with. The studio is also extremely clean and everything was sterile. I came in for a consultation, he understood exactly what I wanted, and even had the outline in the exact size for placement when I arrived for my appointment. Not sure how he did that, but it was perfect and needed no adjustments. You may have to wait a while to get an appointment scheduled, but thats because he is badass and 100% worth the wait. David will be the only artist I use going forward. Thanks for turning my canvas into such beautiful artwork!!

Such an awesome tattoo shop, I got a half sleeve done here and love the way it turned out Ive been getting compliments from everyone. Very friendly and welcoming staff, its very nice and clean in the shop. Jose does a great job at doing anime tattoos, had been looking for an artist around here that does anime tattoos and he for sure did not disappoint

David Gray is a very talented and professional artist! Three years ago I thought about getting tattooed and I had the opportunity to see David Grays work and I knew it would be with him. I went to a consultation and I loved the studio, everything looked very organized and clean, I gave him my idea and a few months later I sent him an email to make some changes and I loved that he answered me the same day, since day one they made me feel important. Speaking of the tattoo, its more than I expected, everything was very clean, he already had everything ready for me, he listened to my opinion all the time and David has incredible hands because it also didnt hurt at all. The experience was perfect and the tattoo is even more beautiful! 100 percent recommended.

I have come to this shop several times to get a couple pieces done. Tough to beat, I really enjoy talking to all the guys when I am there. Great atmosphere even down to the tunes they have playing! I got a copperhead on one arm that received a lot of compliments and I recently got a cowboy on a horse that everyone wants to look at because of the details. Jose is my guy he listens to my ideas and takes off with it and I enjoy all the work he does!!

I had Jose Alvarado as my artist this time and I had an amazing experience, especially since it was my first tattoo! I loved the art and advice I was offered, and every part of the process was explained amazingly and the environment was so comfortable and enjoyable. I’ve had a lot of work done in the past by previous artists. Unfortunately, I’ve ended up getting a lot of coverups and large tattoos removed. I’m so grateful to have found David because he’s fixed a lot of my tattoo mistakes. He takes the time to figure out what you want as well as giving honest feedback. I have a few stand alone tattoos as well from him and they’re my favorite! He’s truly a talented artist.Not only are the tattoos good quality, but the shop is so clean and comfortable. A talented young artist and a dedicated professional, Jose took the time to help me design my tattoo and made sure that I was 100% happy with how it would look, before putting the needle to ink. I had a unique design in mind and Jose made it a reality with great professionalism and care. Truly an excellent facility with top class staff!

Mr Gray is professional, details and exact! He takes an image and turns it into a beautiful masterpiece. Tattoo photos that he has drawn and inked for my husband and I. He’s the best!

Got a small tattoo on my foot (which I was so nervous to get), Jose made the experience much easier and I’m OBSESSED with it. The design turned out exactly how I pictured it and the sharp lines are totally worth the pain! Nice, clean studio. Don’t hesitate just get it! :)

So this was my first appointment with Mr. Gray and im very pleased! the guys in there made me feel welcomed and comfortable and they even talked to me while i was getting a tattoo. The shop is calming to me and the art is beautiful!

David really knows his stuff. Shares honest feedback with you to ensure that you get a quality end product. I won’t let anyone but David do my ink. I’m even taking my two adult children to him. If I trust him with my children, he’s gotta be good.

The overall vibe of this shop is so welcoming and nice. Everybody that I’ve spoken to has been so genuine and I’ve had a pleasant conversation with. Jose is wonderful and takes the time to understand what you want and make sure you’re happy. Not only does Jose have great technical skill, but he makes you feel comfortable too, he’s so easy to talk to and fun to joke around with.

Went in for a walk in needing a cover up and Mr. Gray had so much patience with me in figuring out what would work to cover up what I had while still being something I wanted, seriously the patience this man had was incredible. He drew up a tattoo and suggested some finishing detailing. Turned out amazing. 10/10 reccomend

There are so many pieces, each time I go there, I see something new. Each artist is incredible to work with. My artist is Jose Alvarado. Jose specializes in the realms of Japanese traditional, dark art, and anime tattoos. Each piece I have is custom by him. Jose takes the time to make sure each piece is unique. He has 100% of my trust and business. I highly recommend this shop and will continue to come here.

I waited approximately a year to get tattooed by Mr. Gray. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for his beautiful work or waiting. It was completely worth it. I’ve spent roughly 10 hours getting tattooed by Jess and she’s done an incredible job melding my concept art & chosen themes with her creative ability. There will be many more sessions to come thanks to her excellent work.

I just recently relocated to the Woodlands and I found Davids shop on Google. After seeing some of his work and speaking with him I could tell within the first few minutes that I had found my new artist. You can tell he genuinely wants to provide you with a tattoo you will truly enjoy. He talked me out of what was a very bad idea and has started a piece I already enjoy.

Great studio with a few different artists that all are great at different styles. I came in as a walk-in, and they were more than accommodating and extremely competent. Awesome workat a great price too.

Mr.Gray’s is tucked back into a nice quiet corner of Magnolia and is a very cool location for a studio. The artists are very skilled and passionate about the work they’re doing. I had an AMAZING experience with Rick Garcia. Everyone in the shop are very friendly and comfortable. Very professional. Great results. I got a very small fine line tattoo and I was very impressed with it and how it came out. I’m going back for every other tattoo, great people, great place.

Great place to get quality work done. Rikk has been am awesome artist to work with. His work is outstanding. Book an appointment with them quickly so you can get on the list. They are very popular and available days are always filling up. However even if you had to wait a few weeks, I can assure you it would be worth it.

David is my Artist and his work is incredible. His attention to detail is outstanding and in his studio you feel so comfortable and pleasant. It almost feels like a medical office with great conversation and good music that is ran by a great doctor. I have personally seen Daniel tattoo and his work Is top of the line. Ive never seen Paula work but have personally seen her awards she won last weekend for BEST TRADITIONAL tattoo work.

She was very professional and knowledgeable about the process and listened to what I wanted in the vision of the design to go with an elbow tattoo that I already had. Her portfolio speaks volumes about her talents and her work is beautiful. Let me start from the beginning,Consultation:David was incredibly thorough explaining his tattoo process with me. I have two other small tattoos but it had been years since those were done, so he made sure to tell me all about the tattoo process itself along with great information on aftercare. He was open and listened to my ideas as well as added valuable input to improve upon what I was wanting. I’m very thin and was wanting something delicate to compliment my small frame. He helped me decide on the perfect sizing to both satisfy my desire for delicate and also be appropriately sized for the amount of detail I was wanting.Tattoo process:David has a very light hand. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a tattoo...it’s going to hurt. However, he makes the pain as minimal as possible in my opinion. He is incredibly professional in all aspects. He’s conversational, kind and pleasant, but gets the job done and wastes no time.Finished product:My tattoo turned out BEAUTIFULLY! I literally cried when I saw it. It is everything I had hoped and more.Summation:If you are looking for a quality tattoo artist, David Gray is your guy.

David tattooed both my wife and me and it was such a great experience. Everything was very clean and well maintained. This was both mine and my wife’s first tattoo and he did a great job of walking us through the process and explaining everything. His attention to detail is incredible.

This was the first time that I felt like I was in a tattoo STUDIO. It was quite impressive! My daughter wanted her first tattoo and this was the perfect place for her to feel comfortable and relaxed. Of course being at this studio with my daughter meant I also needed to get a new tattoo! Our artist, Rikk, was professional and friendly…not to mention his incredible job with both of our pieces! This was undoubtedly the most positive experience that I’ve had from start to finish. Of course that also means my daughter is already planning her next one with Rikk as the artist! I recommend calling prior to visiting as they are appt only. We were lucky enough to an appt the same day.

I had a great tattoo experience with Mr. Gray. I was nervous, being this was my first time being tattooed, but he made me feel at ease. His location is very clean and the healing process was really fast! I drove about an hour and a half to get to him and it was totally worth it!

Great place, got my first tattoo here and had an amazing experience. The owner is very nice and explains the whole process and what guns and needles he uses, and the studio is very clean. Pretty high rate, but the quality is worth every single penny.

This was my first tatoo, I was made to feel like I was the only customer that day. All tatoo related items were removed from their packages in front of me and time was taken to explain everything prior to start. There was a wait for my appointment but honestly I would rather be waited on like I was than be slipped in last minute. I will be back to get more done, I had an excellent experience.
