Absolutely LOVE this shop and the atmosphere. The owner, Ashley, is amazing and helped me spice up my ears today and shorten my nose post. She answered all my crazy questions I had. I have not had a bad experience yet. Zach is also super wonderful and did a beautiful job on my second nose piercing a few months back. Definitely recommend this shop!!

This was my second time getting pierced here over the course of a few years and both times were incredible experiences. I love the atmosphere and the people. The jewelry is absolutely stunning and the piercers do a phenomenal job. I cant wait to come back for more! P S Zak is awesome

Got a last minute piercing done as a walk in with Zachary. Cannot tell you what a wonderful experience it was! To start, the salon is clean, organized, homey yet professional. You can tell they take a lot of care to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Everyone working was super helpful and comforting (important if you have needle anxiety!). Of course the hygiene and protocol was 5 stars but also the vibes. Zach was such a pro, definitely went with the flow of how I was feeling, in addition to maintaining a real professionalism. Absolutely no problems with the piercing two months later and its definitely a credit to how much time Zach took to explain aftercare, giving me reminder cards about how to contact him if anything went awry as well as detailed notes about after care and reminders of when to charge the piercing. I am a baby with needles so I will certainly be back in to have Zach change out the jewelry soon!

This place sets the Gold standard for piercing. They were kind patient knowledgeable and professional from start to end. Zach is so knowledgeable and skilled and talked us through the whole process beforehand to calm our nerves. The shop is beautifully and stylishly decorated. Awesome experience!!!Highly recommend!

Way over priced for piercings! I told my husband to take my son to the shop I use for my piercings to get his ears done. Well they were busy and he was impatient so he took him here. They charged him 165$ for ear lobe piercing using 3$ nose studs for earrings is absolutely absurd! He could have gotten his ears done 3xs and still left a big tip at my preferred shop for that. I get that they can charge what they want for services. I can tell you it may be a fancy shop the people may be nice but I definitely will never recommend or take my business to them finding out that they are so overpriced! I am one furious momma!

Everyone who works here is awesome, and the work done by everyone is always fantastic. I haven’t gotten any piercings here but plan to, as I have heard and seen nothing but the best. Bec has done all of my tattoos, and I am absolutely in love with all of seven of them. My only complaint is that I don’t have more! Definitely plan on coming to her for all of my work.You walk in and the place instantly FEELS different than any other tattoo/piercing place I’ve been to. It’s a very safe and welcoming space. I have seven piercings and places I’ve been to in the past have felt unwelcoming, so coming to get my very first tattoo here was a little nerve wracking. My worries were gone the second I walked in. I can’t stop talking about this place. People compliment my tattoos all the time and ask where I got them done. I don’t shut up about Bec. She’s AWESOME. Absolutely recommend Diamond in the Rough to anyone and everyone.

Went recently to get a couple piercings done and the gal at the front desk explained the check in process super well! She was excited for me to get these piercings done, got me some cold water to drink while I waited for Ashley to get her station ready, as I arrived early. Vibes at this studio are awesome and the shop smells great.Ashley was super thorough in explanation of the procedure and talked me through everything. She was super quick with my piercings but she did not rush! I felt very comfortable the whole time, even though I was super nervous. Highly recommend Ashley!!!

Had my second nose piercing here and was perfect. Looks amazing and healed within a few days, went back a mo th later and she put a hoop on the other side that had just healed from being pierced else are. I bought white gold and its extremely amazing jewelry. Love the quality and the service. Would recommend them. Plan on going back for more jewelry and maybe another piercing.

Nice clean good looking shop near the 🎠 carousel, Real welcoming employees, and just all around good vibes immediately when walking thru the front door. I have gotten all of my piercings here and cannot recommend this place enough! I trust Ashley 100% in her placement of piercings and her help matching different pieces in my ears. My friend and i went to go get her belly button pierced, we paid $130 for it to be so far back in her bellybutton and not even be able to see the bottom jewel of it. Decided to go to Artful Impressions Tattoo and piercing studio right after and they fixed it immediately for her for $5. This place was a waste of money, very very dissatisfied. Absolutely wonderful place to be, extremely inviting from the time you walk in the front door to the time you leave. I have had all my work done by Bec for the last year or so and have ZERO regrets whatsoever! I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for tattoos or piercings!

Ashley (the owner) has done all of my piercings and I can’t not say enough how much I appreciate her knowledge and kindness! I took my step daughter in yesterday to get better jewelry put in her fresh piercing that was done elsewhere and Ashley was so great and explained to her the importance of high quality jewelry! I chose Diamond In The Rough because I saw Becs work and knew shed knock it out of the park. The work speaks for itself and was exactly what I had expected. Very friendly staff, clean work environment, great music–would highly recommend!

The staff were welcoming, patient, and very knowledgeable. There’s a fantastic selection of jewelry to choose from. I drove 40 minutes based on a highly-recommended referral, and it was totally worth the drive. Zach is strongly committed to his craft and took his time to inform me throughout the whole process. If you’re willing to pay for quality and expertise for piercing, this is the place.

Jonny turned a disastrous tattoo into an art piece by free styling the design and understanding the stress areas where the design was placed.He understands how critical it is to keep his clientele returning, his craftsmanship and keen observance to detail proves that.I will gladly wait a year or longer to get my ink fix by Jonny. I will never NEVER go to a 3rd class tattooists ever again.

Ive been going to Diamond In The Rough for about a year now for all my piercing and jewelry related needs. Theyve pierced my snake bites, eyebrows, bridge, vertical philtrim, and a double daith. Theyve also stretched my septum for me several times.All of the staff here are wonderful and very nice and Ive never had any issues out of them. They offer good advice and wonderful bedside manner while getting pierced. Theyve always used proper jewelry for my piercings and all of their jewelry is high quality. Couldnt recommend them enough!

Everyone at diamond in the rough is super nice and helpful. I come from Toledo everytime just to get tattooed by Bec, she’s incredibly talented and makes a 6 hour session go by like a breeze. I get compliments all the time on the tattoos she’s done and I’d recommend her and this shop in general to anyone!

My husband and I get our tattoos from Jonny - great artist and personality! This shop also does cosmetic tattoos and piercings, their jewelry is extremely high quality and the cosmetic tattoo chair is almost always full when we go in. Highly recommend! Very clean studio and great atmosphere.

Ashley has always been an amazing piercer! I’ve trusted her with my own piercings for years and today I trusted her with my 5 year olds lobes! Ashley was sweet, patient, and thorough about making my girl feel comfortable. She made the whole experience fun and pleasant. My daughter did great and did not shed one tear (she is very smart and rather mature for her age) and that is partly due to Ashley’s calming demeanor and expertise. 💖 Don’t take your kids to the mall or Claire’s where they use awful, gross, damaging piercing guns, wait until they’re old enough and take them to a professional shop like this one! The shop is also clean and classy with beautiful, high quality jewelry options!

We made the hour trip from Columbus and brought our daughter here for her 7th birthday present to get her ears pierced! She was nervous, but they made it such a easy and quick experience! She literally didn’t even flinch and her piercings are perfect! There hasn’t been any swelling at all! She absolutely loves them! I have gotten 6 piercings here, both double lobes, a conch, and daith piercing. Ashley and Felica are very professional and educated. They have a large selection of pretty jewelry and can change your jewelry out for you. I live in Indiana, and visit my dad in the area occasionally but I will always get my piercings here! They are awesome!

I have been going to diamond in the rough for many years. I have been going way before It was even diamond in the rough before they even got their Mansfield location. I will tell you this. The jewelry may be expensive, but there is a warranty on it. Ive had to use the warranty on it and so have my children. They care, they always ask how we are doing how Life Has Been. I can take the jewelry out when I need to but I can never get it back in. I dont know how many times I have been there to get my jewelry Put back in including today and never been charged a dime. The gold jewelry is real gold jewelry. The silver jewelry is real Silver and the titanium is true titanium. They have a great selection to choose from. If you see something that you want and they dont have it in stock, they will order it in the color you want. I love them all here. They do great piercings and tattoos. I cant wait to figure out what I want to get pierced next and what tattoo I want to get. Thank you all for being so kind. It means the world to us. That always comes back to you guys. I will never trust anyone to pierce my family. They are so great with kids and adults. Im a little partial and usually ask for Ashley but she has other great members of her staff that do great piercings as well.

Zach has done 6 of my piercings and they’ve all healed flawlessly. The jewelry is pricey but it’s QUALITY jewelry and absolutely adorable and worth it. It’s also guaranteed. My stone fell out of one and they are replacing or fixing it for me without issue. Definitely recommend DITR!

Excellent piercing. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. I have an auto immune condition and didnt leave the earrings in long enough for proper healing so the piercings started to close. I stopped in while waiting for a table next door and Zach fixed my ears without charge and I cant tell Im wearing earrings so I wont have any problem leaving them in long enough now. I recommend DITR every chance I get.

Came here the other day to have some jewelry changed. I had called before hand, wasn’t quite sure who I was speaking to as they didn’t give me their name when picking up the phone. but they seemed very friendly and willing to change the jewelry. I get to the place, she calls me up to the front desk to ask me what I needed to have done. I explained to her that I needed some jewelry changed out of my piercing, and that I had brought a piece of jewelry that I would like for her to switch it out to. She seemed hesitant at first to switch it out for me, while also pointing out the flaws of my piercing (that it was healing a bit crookedly). Just basically judging my judgment of everything. I have several cartilage piercings so obviously I know how long it takes for one to heal, but for some reason she felt the need to question my judgment of that as well. Pointing out these flaws all while there are other customers behind me. And she seemed very eager to get us out of the building. I had said bye and thank you, and got none of that back from her. Little did I know whom I was speaking to is the owner of the business. As the owner of the business I’d expect you to be a bit more professional and hospitable, but I guess you only get that if you pay for their beautiful yet expensive jewelry. I mean educating someone and talking down/humiliating someone are two different things. I did not feel educated, I felt belittled.

The man had been laying on the table and looked absolutely annoyed about us walking in. He never introduced himself and was rude the whole time. He was shaking so bad I had to ask if he was okay!!! This just pissed him off further. He then tried to blame my daughter for it! Let me tell you she sat stone still like a champ. I refused to let him touch her further. We purchased the nose ring and left without it being put in place. No piercer should ever shake that bad, let alone act so unprofessional!!!!!

This place is amazing. I’ve had my nose pierced here and my daith. The experience has guaranteed that they are the piercing place for me for all future work. They are knowledgeable about the jewelry and what pieces are best for a healing piercing. The owner is a talented artist, and genuinely cares that you have the best chance to heal properly. Went there for a nose piercing. Felicia did it, super sweet girl and had the best experience. A couple weeks after tried to set up an appointment to talk to Felicia and no call or text back.. nothing. Called the shop with no answer. Also they cancelled my tattoo appointment I had set up. So I don’t recommend them.

Awesome studio!! After doing some research, I decided on Diamond in the Rough for their high quality jewelry and after care. And they didnt disappoint! My daughter had her ears pierced for the first time, Ashley and Micki were amazing with her! They talked with her and made her feel less nervous. She said the piercing didnt hurt. Went in with my friend for her appointment- staff was very professional, well informed, and had great customer service! She’s coming back for a check in and her second piercing in a month, very excited and might get my own! Ashley and Natalie were so sweet and did a great job!

Paid $260 for a single nipple piercing that was not placed right at all. I came in for a consult a few months before the piercing she looked over my anatomy twice. And it’s not even close to being placed in the right spot. They are supposed to be at the base of the areola where it meets the nipple. Not through my nipple about to come out of the front of it. And no it has not migrated or rejected it has been like that.

I absolutely loved my visit here! Their jewelry and customer service is STUNNING/AMAZING!Jeff was my piercer and he was so nice and willing to accommodate me because of my vertigo but I was able to get the septum piercing done the standard way without much issue from my dizziness. He also coached me really well through the breathing process and I felt comfortable and knew I was in safe and professional hands! Also, the name Diamond In The Rough is adorable and exactly what the name emplies, everyone there is a friggin gem and all their jewelry is top of the line, so do expect to pay for high quality! Brought my daughter here to get her first lobe piercings for her 8th birthday. Fantastic little shop, super clean, and everyone was so sweet. I want to start off by saying I love my industrial I got done here, I really do. I liked the shop a lot too, its beautiful and was clean. Most of the staff seemed friendly and prices were fair. Their jewelry is top-notch and worth every penny.So, why the 3 stars? Ive had 6 piercings and 7 tattoos done by professionals, almost all of them have been at different shops by different professionals. When I sat down with Ashley and explained I like to visit different shops to see different peoples art and meet different artists and piercers, she responded with, Thats cool, but I have my certifications so coming here is like going to a professional hair salon versus a Great Clips. 😳 I was speechless.I understand being competitive as a business and being confident as a shop owner, but I didnt even go back to get my bar sized down (went to another trusted professional) after hearing something so... Unsupportive of other artists. It really was harsh, especially for not even knowing which other shops Ive been to or was talking about.

Great shop, super friendly and knowledgeable. My piercing is flawless. I hate to admit it, because its such an awesome shop with a great positive vibe, but their jewelry is pricy. I had a bit of sticker shock. Didnt stop me from getting pierced though!

I got my own piercings done here a couple years ago. I returned today with my 5 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. I came back because I knew I could trust them to be clean, professional and informative. Ashley was amazing! She explained everything she was doing and made sure my daughter knew every step of the process. Afterwards she did a little photoshoot and made sure we had all of the information to keep healthy clean piercings.It was a great experience and my daughter was thrilled with it all.

Loved it. I took my fifteen-year-old daughter there to get her nose pierced. She had it done before but it closed up. The first time she had it done she bled very bad, this time she didnt bleed two drops perfectly placed and she said almost painless. Felicia was like somebody you have known your whole life. She was very warm and inviting and made my daughter feel super comfortable. She was very professional. What a great experience! Just got my front helix pierced and Felisha helped me with my lobe piercing. I had my lobes pierced when I was 3 yrs old. The one piercing hole had ripped down. She took her time finding the best way to repierce to make it look best. She is very personable and makes you feel at ease. 100% recommend!

I got my septum pierced by Ashley who is a very sweet, professional woman. I had a previous experience getting my septum pierced that was uncomfortable and left me wary of getting any more piercings. Ashley made this super easy and not painful at all. I’d recommend anyone get pierced by her!

I love this place. I recently got 3 piercings here, and my piercer was just wonderful. She spoke to me very sweetly and made me feel comfortable and calm. I sat through all three piercings with no issues and I feel amazing afterward. Her prices are amazing, she works with all price ranges and sells high end, custom jewelry. My piercings are beautiful and I feel so much more beautiful myself afterward. Following her aftercare instructions was a breeze and my piercings are healing up perfectly!

This place is super clean. They have high quality beautiful jewelry. They give aftercare instructions, and are really friendly. I would highly recommend them. They were very kind and respectful. Take your kids there, because it’s much safer!!

The customer service is snoody. When I called prior to making an appointment to get a simple price range so I knew what to expect I couldnt get an answer. I told them the color of jewelry I wanted and that it was just a stud and they were persistent that they couldnt even give me a price RANGE? Very shady, appears that they change their prices based on the person. Customers should know what to expect when coming in and not even providing a price range ex at the low end the jewelery youre looking for could be $90 or up to $260. But if you want to slight customers and overcharge, you wont do that over the phone or have them listed when you get there, which they dont.When I approved for my appoint it took a good 25 seconds to be acknowledged and when I was she was short with me and very unpersonable. I was disappointed to find out she was going to be my peircer. However, once we were in the room she warmed up and did a great job with the piercings.It got 3 stars instead of 1 because at the end of the day my piercings are healing & straight and they give you an itemized bill. Which shops that Ive gone to in the past dont to trick customers into tipping on jewelry costs, instead of just piercing cost. The shop is one of a kind in the area so I guess they have the room to choose people that arent welcoming or personalable but can do a good job. That is until competition comes in, then youll need both.

I have been coming to Ashley for piercings for 15 years and wouldnt go anywhere else! Ashley and Felicia are both professional and knowledgeable. The studio is always extremely clean and they have the best jewelry selection. They have something for everyones budget and Ashley has even designed a custom piece for my ear with my favorite gemstones. Felecia was absolutely amazing! It had been years since I got a new piercing. She was so knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful throughout the entire process- she even helped me choose the perfect mix of jewelry. She pierced my nostril and doubles. My sister and I went in today to get some piercings done. Felicia was AMAZING! Shes so funny, calming, and patient with you. They have beautiful jewelry available! I’ve gotten 14 piercings done by some of the best piercers in the industry, Jordan, Felicia, and Ashley. They make your comfort and safety a priority and do their absolute best to take care of you. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I traveled from Missouri, to spend my 30th with family and we went in and I got my first nose ring!! I had taken my daughter to another parlor to get her ears pierced and unfortunately was given outdated after care instructions with low quality jewelry which resulted in irritation bumps and her ears not healing. I called and set an appointment here and they got me in the same day! Ashley was so sweet and patient with my daughter and switched out her earrings to the high quality ones they use and gave me detailed instructions on how to properly care for her ears. I reccomend them to everyone and will never go anywhere else!

I have had my nose done before and it was infected. It was done with a gun. I know that’s a no no but I was young and didn’t know that at the time. I was at a reputable shop and trusted them. I had my belly button done and it also got infected. I started to think I’m allergic to certain metals because of my ears being a problem too. I found Felicia and Ashley and knew if I got my nose done again that’s where I would go. Felicia was awesome! I have had ZERO issues with my nose. None at all and beyond excited I can have it and enjoy it!There jewelry is the best. Might be a little pricey but that’s because it’s real and you get what you paid for.

I have had a lot of my piercings done here, by Jordan and Felicia. The establishment is very clean, and they are very knowledgeable on their craft. They take their time making sure everything is exactly where it should be and to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Best jewelry you could ask for as well. I 100 percent recommend.

I got a BEAUTIFUL tattoo by Cheyanne back in July. She blew my expectations out of the water. It healed great and the details in it are amazing. I went to Diamond in the Rough to get my daughters ears pierced. She was nervous, but was put right at ease by the friendliness of the staff. My daughter had everything explained and shown to her before the piercing process and we were given clear instructions for how to care for her ears after. We were also encouraged to call if we had any questions or concerns and my daughter left so happy with the results! The main room is open, clean, and welcoming. There is two hour free street parking and a large parking lot across the street.

Felicia is literally the best! I’ve gone to her for two of my piercings now and she does such a great job! She makes sure you are completely comfortable and tells you everything you need to know! The shop is super clean and everyone is super friendly!

I am very pleased with my experience at this studio. Felicia pierced my daith and put me at ease with her obvious experience and expertise. I went in with a close up picture of my ear and asked her to show me the entry and exit point of the piercing and she was right on which was assuring to me. They know what they are doing. Extremely rude and unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would. No wonder they are always dead when I was in there. I had specific photo of what I wanted done and the color Magenta. He messaged me the day prior stating that he would have everything ready to tattoo when I came in. When I arrived he sat in the back for 30 minutes while he was getting the design ready. He then brought it out and it was wrong so he had to fix it. After waiting an hour he finally started tattooing for 1.5 hours then was done. Flower was half colored and baby pink and nowhere near Magenta. On top of that charged for 3 hours. Had to schedule 2nd appointment which I was fine with but he flipped out when I asked if he charged for time sitting in back to design because I wasnt sure. Now I will find a better place to finish his work or lack there of.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Stop looking right now and book. Now. Go.

The piercers at this place have done nothing but help me the last 6 months. I had my nostril pierced by another place and had a terrible experience and did not want to get my nose done again but Felica made me so comfortable and I was able to get my nose triple pierced in one sitting because she was so amazing at what she does!! Secondly I had complications with the healing in my piercing and Ashley and Felica ALWAYS got me in when I felt as tho something wasn’t right. I have had to have my bars switched in and out multiple times due to swelling and not once were they rude or made me feel like I was a bother or even charged me for it! Most piercers would of given up because of how bad my nose went through the healing process but they always made me feel better and refused to let me just give up on it like I wanted to so many times. Thank you so much Ashley and Felica! Go here for your piercing needs!!!

Best place to go for piercings! This place is as clean (if not cleaner) than my dentists office! They have a wide selection of pieces that they custom fit to you because lets be honest...ears can be weird. You walk out the door looking so fine that even your grandma cant be mad that you got another piercing!

I got my first real piercing done here by Jordan back in August of 2018 (little late, I know). I am still in love with my daith though. My best friend went with me and was watching the whole process with an eagle eye. Jordan was SUPER professional and clean. Im pretty sure he changed his gloves at least five different times while doing my daith. It has healed well and Ive had NO problems with it. ❤
