Becky is fantastic! She has a great personality easy to talk to and really listens to what you want and she makes it happen! Almost done with my half sleeve (going to be continued to a full sleeve) and it is beautiful, I love it! Her artwork is amazing and her tattoos are flawless! She has made a life long client and I wont be going anywhere else again! Shes made me hate to wear long sleeve because I want to show it off.

Took my daughter for her first piercing- piercer was awesome, my daughter was completely at ease. Place was super busy, every station had a patron. Beautiful work done by very friendly staff

Got my tattoo done here and the artist was very nice. It was my first tattoo and I was very nervous and scared and he made me feel very comfortable. Its been 5 years now and Ive had no issues with it at all. I got my tattoo on my shoulder blade and it wasnt very painful at all. I highly recommend this place very clean. Going here this week to get my nose pierced!

Jack is amazing with piercings. It’s quick and painless. My piercings always look so good after and heal up nicely with the information I’m given. He’s definitely experienced, and knows more than any other shop I have ever been too.

I set an appointment with Becky at the beginning of the year she said she was booked out until July, which was fine. I still paid the 100 deposit. Well around may I find out Im moving and wont be around to get the work done and need a refund on my deposit. Thank God I kept the receipt because she had no knowledge of the deposit and hadnt even logged my appointment time in the book. That could have been disastrous to wait 4 months and have someone else booked in my place.

My parents have been getting their tattoos done here for years and love every tattoo. Every piercing Ive gotten was done by Jack. He takes his time while also doing his job swiftly and delicately. He also explains what hes about to do so youre never surprised. Everyone is so sweet and make really good conversation. 100/10 will always go here for tattoos and piercings.

Jack is always so fast and efficient. He strives for perfection and is very knowledgeable. I won’t go anywhere else for our piercings. He’s done our belly button m, nose, and traegus piercings and we’ve never had a problem.

Do not come to this piercing shop, I have personally experienced poor customer service, and results from this Shop.From Piercing sites incorrectly, not communicating with their clients. I’ve seen first hand, a single helix piercing, having a needle go through multiple times. Causing scaring and huge keloids on a friend of mine.I’ve been pierced here multiple times, and every time a piercing ball has been dropped …clamps weren’t used. Service felt rushed.Fresh piercings (nostrils or helix), a hoop was placed in the wound. This is not recommended for the healing process…Your hoop will come undone and fall out, resulting in your piercing closing up. No place holder, so you have to come in again. And change at least $100 for a new one.Do your research before getting any piercing. You want it done right go else where.

It seems many of the complaints on here are about Jeff, and from what I understand he is no longer there.Becky is the main artist, and she has done all 4 of my tattoos. I LOVE them. She has amazing talent, is clean, her execution is flawless, and my tattoo from 9 years ago still looks bright, crisp, and great. She will always draw you a custom piece, unless youre asking for an exact thing. Request her (book appt ahead of time), she is guaranteed to take great care of you. She was super nice and understanding when we did my first ever tattoo.As far as pricing goes, you get what you pay for. Good work costs money. Im okay with it.Jack has done several piercings for me. He was clean, quick, and has always been helpful when Ive gone back in with questions or wanting to change earrings.

Wow... what can I say. They are absolutely amazing!!!! I went to Jack back in May to get a nose piercing, it went by quick and painless. Super friendly! Then I had to go back and get it repierced. Again, a quick, easy, and non-painful process which was only 20 bucks.I decided to get a tattoo with my bf, and after a miracle of an opening I saw on their Facebook, I was able to book an appointment, get an idea for our tattoos, and see Becky for these tattoos in less than 24hrs.She was kind, quick, funny, and so helpful for our very first tats. She gave us exactly what we wanted!I could not reccomend this place enough ♡

I was expecting a dingy place but was pleased with the street view and clean waiting room in a nice neighborhood. Because a lady had canceled her appointment my wife was able to wait and then was seen by a pretty lady named Becky, I believe. She received the tattoo that she had been wanting for years at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to any wanting a tattoo.

I got my tongue and septum done and the piercer was amazing and really kind. He made me feel comfortable getting it done and ran down through everything that was necessary to know. Definitely want to come back for more piercings and get tattoos done!

Awesome place. If you want good tattoos and piercings this is the best. I will always recommend unique ink. It is definitely the only place Id get a piercing. Everything they have and use is high quality such as ink and jewelery. My husband has all his tattoos and piercings from Becky and Jackand has had half of them for over 10+ years and they look wonderful.

Went in to get a Tragus piercing. The Piercer was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. Took about, maybe 15 minutes to get both Tragus pierced. Overall it was a great experience, the best one Ive had since I started getting piercings. Ill definitely be returning to get more done.

Tried to use this business. Just want to buy a new stud for my lip but piercer isnt there till GD 530?? And no one can sell me a lip ring but can suggest I go to hot topic. Circle jerk.

Walked in and within 5 minutes I was pissed off. They are absolutely rude and very disrespectful. Becky does great work no doubt but she is the only one there that does. I have first hand seen Jeffs work and I would rate it at d+ maybe c- on a good day.

Went here to get my philtrum (medusa) piercing. Very reasonably priced. ($40 including jewelry) Their piercer is very friendly and helpful and I couldnt be happier. He centered it perfectly for my asymmetrical face, haha. It is now almost 6mo old and he has helped every time Ive needed my bar changed. Couldnt ask for more!

I never leave negative reviews and if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I came in looking for a simple standard septum ring. The tattoo artist was the only one there and refused to even show me the jewelry very rudely because although I know what my own nose piercing looks like, she said she didnt. She told me to come back at 5 when the piercer came back. I informed her that I took an Uber and it was already a $20 round trip. She refused again and then said I only do tattoos, Im in the middle of one right now... If youre the only person there, youre going to get interrupted by other customers. Dont be rude when you have to do your job. Im on vacation from Oklahoma right now and my septum fell out and it will close if I dont get a new one. My boyfriend bought another Uber to go get the jewelry for me because I was livid at how rude this lady was. When he showed up after five the woman said the piercer isnt here, I dont know if he even will be. We spent 40 dollars to get nothing. This is honestly the worst service Ive gotten at an establishment. EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Do NOT go to Unique Ink. They are nothing but rude and discourteous jerks. I went up there and showed them my tattoo. What I wanted and what I got. I told them I was not happy with what I got and they didnt care. They did offer to redo it but if the first one turned out this way how do I know the second one will come out right?I told them repeatedly I was not happy with the tattoo but they told me it just had to heal. I have a tattoo already and I was happy with it from the moment it was done to the second it was done healing. They think that it will magically turn into what i want when it looks like crap!And the artist himself was very rude and distasteful - as soon as I tried to explain what was wrong he became extremely angry and walked to the back of the store yelling about what a dumb ass I was because I was unhappy.Now yeah I should have gone off like a mad hornet but Im not like that.I was extremely calm - and when they began to call me names and such I actually started crying - yes like a baby. Ill admit it. Im not accustomed to people screaming at me about how its my fault that i didnt get what I wanted when they put it on me. I tried to calmly explain that I was not happy and showed them pictures and the current tattoo. And I was called a smart ass. So I totally restarted the conversation and yet they still defended the tattoo as it was goodYeah you guys can defend your experiences but mine was nothing but rude, discourteous, and downright hostile. They all have short tempers and they let them fly without reason. And when they dont want to hear how unhappy you are they go back to their office and blair music and yell at you from their safety zone.Just thought I would warn everyone who was thinking about getting a tattoo from there. I dont care what is commented on here I just want to warn everyone. Nothing but shotty work and distasteful conduct. Dont get anyone but Becky if you are dumb enough to go. Shes the best of them all

If youre looking for comfort, care, and good work- go elsewhere.The people are very rude, and would rather judge your current art than actually focus on what you want. Jack is terrible to the people. From sending a girl to the hospital regarding lying about a piercing being lost to claiming he could do a certain type of tattoo and completely ruining someones piece. Go anywhere else but there.

I’ve had 3 tattoos done and going in October for my 4th from Becki. She does incredible work and we travel from around the STL area. Highly recommend!

As to the Miss Paige Review. 1st off you did not listen to Becky or I as to healing your tattoo you didnt take care of it. 2nd you had the artist make changes to your tattoo and was very happy with the tattoo when you left the shop. 3rd you came into the shop acting the fool and being very rude and just so you know I have everything on video and audio.

The absolute best tattoo shop within southern Illinois. The owners Jack and Becky Morton are highly professional, unlike many shops in the area, and Beckys work is top notch.

Ive gotten 4 smaller tattoos, one half sleeve, and one upper leg sleeve done by Becky. She is awesome! Totally takes my ideas and runs with them. Ill always be a client of hers!!

I dunno about anyone else but I do know Jeff scrivener is the worst tattoo artist ever. I have many many tattoos and got one done by him first time it faded, the entire tattoo looked as if it was barely there so I went back to get it fixed and it did the same. Not only did I go through pain twice now I also have to go pay to get it fixed the right way ! Do not go to this man if you go in there. !

Didnt have my earrings said they was ordered and try again next week

Had a bad experience with one of their former artists that tattooed like a child draws. That being said, I went back and their other artists are great as well as their guy that does the peircing.

I am thinking about my first tattoo and walked in and was very rudely told thats not a parking spot bud the parking goes the otherway your gonna have to move and park the other direction even tho I parked where there was a parking block and no signs said anything about that not being a parking spot so I guess I will take my $1500 somewhere else if thats the way they treat people
