Went spur of the moment to get a tattoo with my sister. She has been getting some work done with Zack. I was really impressed with the studio and the artist made things fun. Reasonably priced and overall nice place to go. They will always try to accommodate your needs! Thanks for being awesome and I love my tat!

I asked for a dainty, girly bouquet of birth flowers and that’s exactly what I got! Carl had it drawn up when I got there and made quick work of my new favorite tattoo! He was knowledgeable and prepared! The environment was clean and super relaxed!

Bobby is amazing!! His attention to detail is spot on, he does great shading work and really brought what we wanted to life. Fully recommend getting tatted by him and we will be going back to this shop from now on !!

Everyone I met there was super nice and chill to be with!I got tattoo work from Tim, and the whole experience has been great. I booked an appointment months in advance, and he always responded whenever I had a question (even though hes super busy!). He helped me pick feasible tattoo designs, and even designed one on the spot for me after i gave a general idea of what I was looking for.Tim communicated everything during the appointment very well. He made sure to tell me at which points wed do the breaks, and even asked me if I was ready to go each time. The shop was very clean, too. Every needle was opened brand new, and he was putting on new gloves whenever necessary. He made very nice conversation with me the whole time.Pictured are the two tattoos I got so far (theyre in the midst of the healing process in these particular pictures). His work is all phenomenal, and the trip I took to get work from him was more than worth it.

Great group of people who do great work. Got my favorite tattoo here and will definitely be coming back for me! Shout out Chris for his great work and staying late to get it finished.

Fantastic tattoo shop. I drive over and hour and a half to get there but let me tell you it’s worth it. Tim is my tattoo artist and his work is incredible he does portraits like it’s nothing and not only that but he’s a great guy too very inspirational. Along with the awesome crew they’ve got there Zack is super friendly and his artwork is also fantastic. Bobby is a fantastic guy and he’s got amazing artwork. Definitely recommend the shop. All the artists there have fantastic work and are great to work with.

Did their Friday the 13th deal, was told after they started that my placement was an extra $50. Color etc was also a ton of upcharges.The tattoo itself was okay, but it wasnt centered and the line work was okay. Their appointment tattoos are good, do not recommend their deals.

I didn’t get a tattoo from Tim at Gentleman’s ink yet due to being about 10 hours from his shop but my wife and I went and got a tattoo from him when he was doing a guest spot in Denver Colorado and I’ve many different artists. Tim is definitely top of the line, the artwork he does is phenomenal, great to talk to while he’s doing work etc overall one of the best experiences I’ve ever had getting a tattoo! Highly recommend

Such a welcoming tattoo shop! Tim always responded to my messages about what I wanted and made me feel comfortable in the chair. He did the first tattoo I ever got and made all my nervousness go away! It was definitely well worth the wait! No other place I want to go to, to get the rest of my tattoo’s done. Would definitely recommend this shop for anyone wether it’s your first tattoo or not!

Tim is solid , he had gotten sick had to cancel my appointment (tattoo artist are human, they get sick an have problems like everyone else) got me back in 4 days later. He’s cool it’s always love good conversations an he’s a good tattoo artist (you’ll see all the awards he’s won on his wall at his shop) Any touch ups he takes care of you as well. He’s always been straight up with me only tattoo dude I mess with.

Went up on their Friday the 13th event. It was very busy. Everyone was just relaxed even though it was crazy. Great atmosphere... Carl did my tat, hes awesome. I did see some really neat pieces leave.

This shop is fantastic. Took my grandson to get his tattoo from Carl. The Atmosphere is very calming. Carl does beautiful work and my family goes to Carl for our tats. I highly recommend going to Gentlemans Ink.

Tim is one of the best artists hands down in the Midwest. My son will go to nobody else and drives 3.5 hours each way for his services. Especially if wanting a portrait he is the BEST! Down to earth and just a talent that you have to witness. 5 stars all the way!

Had an appointment, booked it a month in advance. Communicated with the shop two days before the appointment to confirm, everything was a go. Traveled 90 minutes and arrived 10 minutes early to find out the artist I had an appointment with was out of the shop that day. They didnt reach out and cancel, just ghosted the appointment. The receptionist was less than friendly and treated me like it wasnt her problem. Shop nor artist ever reached out to apologize or reschedule the appointment. Would not recommend.

Chris Q is such an amazing artist. Bobby is an outstanding neotrad artist. So much talent in this shop. No need to travel to Kansas City for an amazing tattoo. Just go see the boys at Gentlemans Ink!

I had a pretty amazing experience at the studio, it was a really kicked back vibe. Even though it was my first time meeting everyone they treated me like friends! My artist for the day was zack! I genuinely love the tattoo I got and the service was amazing will definitely be going back!

Communication and organization from the shop owner (Tim) could use a lot of work, i’ve spent thousands here and will say it’s one of the most unprofessional shops i’ve been tattooed at, 1. My first appointment he double booked himself 2. He was an hour late (ended up charging me for that hour still) &he was always 30-40 minutes late to all his appointments with me 3. he brought all three of his kids which is cool except enzo was screaming and running and kept bumping my chair while being tattooed and Tim was yelling at him but he didn’t stop 4. Tim’s cancelled over 6 separate tattoo sessions and would wait months to reschedule me and then cancel on me last minute again 5. No Ac and no heat working and the only toilet had been out of order a couple times. 6. Zack had me put down a deposit and then tattoo that design on someone else. He also let his inexperienced apprentice do neck and hand tatts that turned out exactly how you’d expect. Tim’s the only decent artist in the shop & good for portraits but his fine line work isn’t up to par. Decent conversation and sanitary shop just professionalism needs help.

Experience: amazing. Tim Richardson: Brilliant. Satisfaction: Absolutely!! I always said I would never get a tattoo, now I have 4. Tim Richardson and Gentlemans ink have done them all. I will not trust anyone with my body but Tim. All of my tattoos are beautiful, I live in Arizona and have travelled all the way to Missouri and had my tattoos done. I will be going again in June and Will add one more piece of art to my collection. Tim is an exceptional artist, specializing in portraits, his work is exquisite. Do not hesitate to look up this talented artist and check out his portfolio!

WORTH THE DRIVE! I can’t stress enough how light handed, fast and professional Tim is. I felt almost no pain the entire tattoo and the portrait he did was amazing. His workers are very smart and a lot of fun to be around. Without a doubt I will be back.

Tim is honestly one of the ONLY artists I trust on my skin! His other artists are amazing as well! I would drive across the country to get tattooed by this man! Honestly, I have zero complaints. Tim was an amazing artist. I left everything in his hands. Explaining my situation, and what i wanted to represent and was skeptical at first, but this was the best decision I could of made. Tim came up with the best tattoo for my situation. Talented beyond words, and made it a great few hours. Hurt like hell in the end, but worth every minute. Will definitely be going back! In love with my tattoo. I love that you can feel his passion and see his passion when he works. He truly invests himself into his work. Going back for sure!

Paid Tim for 3 hours in cash up front. Got one hour worth of work and paid him for 3 more hours in cash after the first session. Since that it has been TEN!!! Months of him canceling dates, not responding and rescheduling dates he rescheduled. Looking into legal action. He did do great work and it seems like if you walk in and pay as you sit down your gonna get a great tattoo. Wouldn’t pay this guy a deposit or plan a large tattoo.

By far the best tattoo shop. This is the only tattoo shop I have been to that has a really comfortable environment and some of the most professional artists I have ever met who have a true love and desire for the industry. The owner and his co workers have a real eye for amazing work and taking the image out of your mind and making it better and flow perfectly on your body. I have been honored to receive some art that was done by Tim Richardson and receive compliments about them all the time. This will be the only shop and go to because of the environment and the skilled artists who work amazing prices that are unbeatable for the quality of work. Tattoos are permenant so why would you except less then the best doing it?

I recently got a tattoo by Tim. He did a lovely job. He gets the job done quick and some how it comes out looking perfect. Hes a very talented. Also, the new building looks great! If your thinking about getting a tattoo look no further.

I had the WORST tattoo experience here!!1. To start out, he showed up 1 hour late.2. He is unclear on his pricing3. It was unbearably cold because their furnace was broke.4. I couldn’t enjoy my tattoo session because it turned into a daycare center/ Jerry Springer show when his baby momma showed up to shop unannounced with his kids in the middle of my tattooing.5. I fronted him 500 bucks and he cancelled on me twice..I basically have a half done tattoo.6. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt when he finally finished my tattoo but he cancelled on me again.Overall, Tim is unprofessional and VERY Inconsistent with scheduling for tattoo appointments. I wouldn’t waste my time getting my tattoo here, he clearly doesn’t value your time and money.

In my opinion Gentlemans Ink is my #1 choice of tattoo shops. My son, Joshua Hughes, had his 1st tattoo done there by a truly gifted artist, Tim Richardson. The tattoo exceeded all expectations of awesome. Im 52 and still have yet to get my 1st tattoo! Theres no one else I would trust except Tim Richardson at Gentlemans Ink. I cant wait to get started and see the new shop.

I got my tattoo Friday and I love it! Zach was super great and fast, I got my appointment in fairly early which I was surprised about, if I decided to ever get another one I will go again! 🐅💪🏻

Loved the whole experience! Cody was amazing and talked me through everything and answered any and all questions I had. She made sure I had plenty of breaks as if was my first tattoo and she gave me two. When she saw I was in pain she used her own numbing gel because it was stronger than the spray stuff she had. That staff was friendly and reasonably priced. The colors came out beautiful and the whole thing was done slowly to ensure it was perfect. Cody also gave me a free touch up if needed. Absolutely amazing experience can not wait to go back and get more

I scheduled an appointment with Tim. Paid him a deposit. Have him on Snapchat and saw him post he was going to Dallas TX for an ink master convention on the day of my appointment. He never told me anything about my appointment. I had to reach out to him and ask him what was going on or else he would have never said anything and would have drove 3 hrs for nothing. So he tried to reschedule and he would let me know. Haven’t heard from him. He won’t respond to my messages on Snapchat but yet has the time to post pictures of himself. Very unprofessional whenever the calient has to be continuously looking for an answer. He can keep my deposit must need it more then me to screw people over. Wish I could post screenshots of conversation to show everyone how he won’t respond. So if your thinking about getting a tattoo with Tim watch out hell answer you whenever he feels like it.

Highly Recommend Zack Bell! He did amazing work on my tattoo & i absolutely love it! Definitely will be getting tattoed by him again! Great environment an all around amazing service!

This shop is hands down the best shop in Missouri. Maybe even in the Midwest. Tim is an incredible artist and person. I travel from 5 hours away from Iowa and would not even consider finding a shop close. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

I went in for my first ever tattoo, and Chris quick was my tattoo artist , I was there for about 4 hours or so but he did a stellar job and it looks amazing, for the price and quality of their tattoos I would go there again and again, amazing artistry that you will be happy with forever. I give them 10 stars but Google will only let me give 5,

Went to get a tongue piercing. The woman examined my tongue and said she would be able to do it. Her hands were shaking and took forever to get it through my tongue. It was very painful and after words she said she had to switch out the piercing for a larger one since my tongue swelled up. Then started twisting the larger piercing through my tongue. It was so painful do not recommend this place for piercings. Tattoos are nice.
