Baker Street Tattoo

A woman at Supercuts suggested Baker Street. I had seen some of Damara’s work and then reached out and met her and then shared some ideas for first part of my sleeve. I had the first part done tonight. Not only am I really happy with it, Damara is just awesome to work with. She was great during the entire process. She actually found a picture that I liked better than any of my own. I can’t wait to get the rest of my arm done by her.

Called ahead to see if they were able to take walk ins, (they are) so my friend and I hustled over and got in! We were greeted by guest artist Ronaldo who was so fun, kind, and an amazing artist! He made the entire experience so memorable and I hope he comes back! Great place & great atmosphere

Joe the piercing guy is a gem! Super professional, takes his time to make sure it’s well done. Does not charge for little things when you come back. Really sweet.

I wanted to get a tattoo in while home to honor my friend’s dad who had recently passed away by getting his life motto tattooed on my arm. It would be something to remind of how short life is and remind me of Buzz. I called the shop and was told it was walk in and first come first serve and I could stop by. I got there the shop was easy to find and just felt like a real chill and experienced shop that gave the client exactly what they wanted and explained certain things to make sure it was the correct choice. I was blown away with how many returning clients and how personable and professional the artist were. Damara was my artist and she got the right font and size. Little to no pain she has a very delicate stroke and knocks it out the park. Really enjoyed the conversation we had too.

Great experience getting my lobes pierced. Brian is a professional, friendly and calm, and takes time to explain the process. Pretty much painless and everything healed quickly.

Baker Street to the rescue on a Sunday! Had a second lobe piercing done at another local shop. Lost the earring when it fell out. Put in the longest post I owned even though it was crummy quality. Needed replacement jewelry with a long back to continue the healing process at 6 weeks and needed it ASAP. Brian greeted me immediately as I entered as a walk in and reassured me he could help. Jewelry is high quality so it cost more than I was expecting to pay but well worth it for the welcoming and knowledgeable service.

Amazing shop with great artists. Perfect place to get a first tattoo. They’re super accommodating, kind, and will execute any idea you give them wonderfully. I’ve had wonderful experiences with getting jewelry put back in my piercings as well.

I walked in and was sat down within 10 minutes with Mark. I gave Mark an idea and he made something up and I was gone 3 hrs later. Very cool people that all work there. Down to earth and all friendly

We went to get ears pierced for our kids. I forget the name of the guy helping us. But he spent a good hour and a half helping our daughters (who are 6yo) get the courage to pierce their ears. Everyone was so excited to get it done and then nerves came into play. He talked every step through after demonstrating 5 times. He was beyond amazing! We really appreciated all the calm and positive attitude and feedback you gave our girls. Thank you again!! Will be going back and suggesting to all our friends!!

Was extremely disappointed in this place. I have a large chest piece, a full sleeve and other tattoos around my body. So I am no stranger to the way things work. But for my daughters first tattoo, her and my wife wanted to get a smiley face that each one drew. Not a full face. Two dots and a smile. They told her that she had to pay minimum $100 each. Disgusting. I was looking for a new artist for a large bio mechanical piece. I won’t be going there.

I took my 7 year old daughter to Baker Street to get her ears pierced. Joe was awesome! He walked us through the whole process and spent a lot of time making sure the placement was even and just right. We were never rushed. He also explained how to take care of the piercings as they heal. Joe was very experienced and friendly, which eased my daughters nerves. Everything turned out great and my daughter is thrilled to have her ears pierced. I would highly recommend Baker Street!

Stopped in as a walk in the other night with my daughter for some piercings. We went in for one but turned into 5 on the way there haha. Joe helped us and was so great! Ive come here for both piercings and tattoos. Everyone Ive ever worked with is clean, organized, and communicative. In all cases, the artists + piercers have taken the time to reset before piercing and redraw multiple times before tatting, to ensure that I was happy with the end result. Theyre easy to book and their prices are reasonable.

This is my local shop. I made an appointment online for Tuesday evening the same day I wanted to be pierced. The shop was quiet which made it an easy process. Brian, who pierced me, greeted me as I walked in and immediately helped me pick earrings and do required paperwork. He sterilized everything right before we pierced. It really was super quick and basically painless. I have already recommended his services to others. I am already planning more piercings and will definitely go back after these heal.

My friend and I wanted to get piercings together. After calling around, I found that they took walk-ins. It was busy when we went so the wait to get the piercing was longer than expected. I’d suggest making an appointment. However, we were immediately approached for a consultation the moment we entered the business.Brian did our piercings and he was great. Talked us through everything and was patient while we compared different earring types. With both of us, he determined the position with great care and had his mentor double check his work.Really love his work and will definitely come back here for any other piercings.

Brian Sane Piercer was amazing..I went to him a month or 2 ago. For a nose repiercing (first one not with him) and considering the Needle phobia I have. He did an amazing job, he was attentive to all my fears, concerns, and needs from the initial appointment conversation. I really enjoyed how wonderful the customer experience was at this location too. Everyone was really attentive, aware, helpful, careful, safe to my needs. I had an unfortunate experience at another piercing shop where my high nostrils were done. That place left metal in my nose that fell out and left me confused so I headed to Baker street for help as it was closer than the original shop. They were beyond helpful and caring towards me. I had never been here before and they were so welcoming and helped me out. I’ll be going here from now on for any and all piercings!

Brian was very professional and thorough. He was also wonderful and caring with my 11 year old daughter who was getting her ears pierced. Calm, explained everything, helped prepare her, and friendly. Couldnt have asked for a better experience for her ear lobe piercing.

My rook piercing healed perfectly and looks amazing. The piercer was really good at informing me of my piercing and the process. I am definitely coming back very soon. This team is PHENOMENAL. I got my nose pierced at a different parlor north of Pittsburgh and started having problems with it. These guys knew exactly what to do and its already looking (and feeling) much better! Much higher quality jewelry and expertise than Ive ever had before. Highly recommend!!

Brian the piercer has helped me with a botched nose piercing (he didn’t do the first one!), has re pierced my ears, and has given me second ear piercings and two cartilage piercings. Scheduled to get my philtrum pierced, but hoped that my slightly lopsided snake bites could be evened out.Brian throughly looked over my old piercings and gave his recommendation that it wouldn’t give the result I was looking for.I did go with the philtrum and the process was great.He also changed jewelry for my beau’s orbital and put in new jewelry for my lip piercing so I have cute cyber bites.

I had a very negative experience with Brian. After getting a simple cartilage piercing by both piercers because it seems the one who pierced me was learning and being taught by Brian, it became a very complicated process and I was told to come back in 6 weeks to replace the back of the earring. At that same time, I was instructed to replace a hoop from a prior cartilage piercing due to poor fitting (making me feel very embarrassed and humiliated about the hoop size and placement while I was there) When I returned 2 months later for replacement of both earrings as instructed, I was dismissed by Brian and offered no help or solutions on what to do with my earrings even though it was their recommendation. It was as if because he wasn’t going to make any money piercing me, he had no interest in helping me and made me feel as though they had never instructed me to return. I left with no direction or assistance. He wouldnt my even sell me a new hoop.I will not be returning and I will not be recommending Baker Street for any piercings or piercing/jewelry support. I would have appreciated a little more guidance and support especially since it was at their advice that I returned.

Got my ears pierced there. Brian put me at ease quickly, was very efficient and answered all my questions. Sterilized the tool he used as I watched. Had a small but nice selection of starter earrings. The shop looked clean.

I had my nose pierced by Brian several months ago (that experience was equally professional and it healed beautifully) and needed to have it temporarily removed yesterday. Im not good with taking my piercing out so I stopped by last night and he removed it quickly and efficiently. I went back today and he put it back in and I was on my way. Very nice guy and would definitely reccomend him!

I went as a walk in and was immediately met by the nicest people. Damara perfectly understood and drew what i wanted, it was my first tattoo and she was so calm that it made me feel so much better. I have been looking for a shop for a while now and after 5 minutes there I know I found it. I have several tattoos and have had several experiences with various shops and artists. Personable and friendly, these talented artists make the entire experience a joy. I went in with a very complicated line design fully knowing that the detail would have to be reduced. Bryan worked for over an hour and returned with a design that almost mirrored what I came in with. I mean you couldnt tell it was different unless you were staring at the original. He worked for two hours, carefully putting in straight lines and circles, hitting with incredible detail and accuracy. Please, dont hesitate, just go see them and you wont regret it. I am beyond thrilled. Thank you guys so much for this piece, I love it!

My sister and I were tattooed recently by Damara K. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a great experience it was. She took our vision of what we wanted and made it a reality and they turned out so much better than we even imagined. She was professional, personable and confident in her abilities. This was my largest tattoo and I was pretty nervous. Her calm demeanor made such a difference. Not to mention, the shop as a whole was a really friendly environment with awesome employees and not intimidating like some places can be. Stopped by on a whim to get my ear lobes pierced. Brian did a great job walking me through the process and gave me a good recommendation even on the type of earrings I should buy. Everything was clean and professional. Even though he wasnt busy this particular Saturday afternoon, Brian took his time to make sure that I was happy with the placement before piercing. Getting blood drawn at the doctors office takes longer and is more painful! He gave me clear instructions for care and even told me that if I needed shorter posts to just stop by again. Tip - paying with cash will save you a few bucks! Really great experience, thank you!

Ive gotten my last two tattoos here and it will be where I get the rest. I had Matt for my first and Damara for my second - both did amazing work. I also really liked all the artistic ideas Damara gave for finishing my half sleeve. I have friends who have seen other artists there and all have turned out great. Casual environment that is relaxed and friendly.

Brian was an actual doll, my friend and I went shortly before they closed and Brian was friendly and helpful, neither of us had any issue with our piercings. Ill definitely be back and recommend him.

My wife and i went in this past Friday to get tattoos and were very grateful that Bobby was available to do both of ours that day. The price was very reasonable for the attention to detail he gave and the other artists were extremely friendly and fun to talk to throughout our time there. I went in on a Thursday as a walk-in to get an inner lip tattoo. Knowing that lips regenerate skin more quickly than most other body parts, I went in knowing my tattoo would not last forever. The actual tattooing process was simple, pleasant and did not take a long time However, I did note that at certain points I could not feel the needle going into my skin, which I thought was strange. After it was done, it was nice, dark, and even. I got the tattoo at about 5-6 oclock and by the time I got home at around 7:30 there was significant fading to the entire top part of the word. By the time I was brushing my teeth for bed, 50% of the tattoo was gone/illegible. The morning after, 95% of the tattoo had completely flaked off and disappeared. The rate at which my tattoo flaked off makes me believe that it wasnt the result of an improper healing, rather the needle not being pushed deep enough into the skin. I brought it to the attention of the artist, obviously upset that my tattoo didnt last 24 hours for reasons that I believe were not my fault. Her replies were short and rude, being sarcastic and mockingly stating that I seemed to be the professional. She told me that shed be happy to redo it but I was going to have to pay full price for a whole new tattoo. I was taken aback by the curt manner in which i was treated and the lack of responsibility taken in having your work literally fall of the skin in a matter of hours. Having done research before hand, as well as knowing people who have lip tattoos, I find a 24 hour shelf life on a tattoo, no matter the body part, to be appalling.

Been getting tattoo for seven years Bobby is completely amazing

It took many years to finally get my first tattoo done, but I was very happy that my old friend Matt was able to squeeze me in on my birthday before I had to get back to California. A fairly simple lineal figure on the sternum, he kept the lines crisp and was immaculately clean, and it healed up far more quickly than I expected. Very happy with the experience, and I hope I get to have him build on it later.

I had my first cartilage (ear, inner conch) piercing done here by Brian. He was professional, confident, and friendly. There was a little girl ahead of me and got her very first ears pierced. She got so scared and cried when it was her turn and I could see Brian was handling the situation great.

Im so glad I found Brian and im never going anywhere else for my piercings. Hes got a ton of really pretty jewelry to choose from, its not like every other shop around where you just get what you get. He also mentioned that its guaranteed for life. So the gem (which is a Swarovski, by the way) wont fall out!

I went here to see Matt as his work on my coworkers arm is phenomenal. Both my wife and I started multi-session pieces with him and, even unfinished, they are looking amazing. Everyone else at the shop is SUPER talented to the point that I plan on getting a piece from (hopefully) every artist there. The shop is super clean, in a great location, and everyone is super chill.

This is a shop I will return to for any piercing or tattoo ideas. These guys were awesome and understood what piercing idea I had, knowledge of muscles and tissue within the area, consideration of my skin type, and future ideas to create. I shall be back and highly recommend coming here!!!

First time I called the woman was an absolute PITA. Tonight, I called for q simple tattoo. An octopus on a hand. Two people can do it. Stop in, I know one is a 6 month wait (Paul Acker is 20 times the talent and a three month wait). Tattoo snobs. I came to PA on vacation from Florida started exploring for tattoo shop the first one we stopped at wasnt a great experience but we didnt stop there second stop Baker Street well talk about talent we talked to Bobby before we knew it he took on our challengeNeedless to say we found a great shop and met some great people. It was such a great experience we know are looking to move back to PA thanks Bobby for being so nice and a outstanding tattoo

I generally dont want to leave negative reviews or do something that could affect someones livelihood, but my experience was negligent and pretty avoidable.I went in for a straightforward nose piercing. It was a re-piercing, so I am very familiar with how it is done and what to expect. The piercer was straightforward and not espeically personable, but hey, they dont have to kiss my ass and Im okay with that.What I was not okay with was the simple yet ridiculous rookie mistake made when the piercer shaped the nose stud in my nostril after piercing. I requested a corkscrew, which is most comfortable for me. I left it, took care of it, let it heal and when the time came to change it, I experienced so much difficulty getting it out of my nose. I didnt understand why, because this was my third piercing of that nostril and it is not rocket science. It turns out the piercer shaped the corkscrew for a right nostril. I had my left nostril pierced. Basically we are talking about the difference between clockwise or counterclockwise. Ive never pierced my right nostril, so in the picture I attached you can see three left nostril studs and on the very left is the one from this business, clearly twisting in the wrong direction. Its a simple difference, yet matters, and is kind of silly to mess up. You only have two options.It was very uncomfortable while healing (due to the fact that it didnt sit in my nose correctly), and when I took it out, I basically had to manhandle my nose because I was making a hairpin turn out of a pierced hole. It was painful, irritated my nose so it looked awful, and actually required more healing time after that. I just think it was a silly mistake for something so run of the mill.

Couldn’t love it more here! Super friendly staff and every piercing I’ve gotten has healed wonderfully with no issues! Will definitely go for tattoos as well

Did not get a Tattoo, but while walking near by I lost an eating in a deep crack in the sidewalk, my husband said forget it, but since I have a matching necklace and the other earing, I looked around and saw this business. The man there for some tools and retrieved my earing. I am 60 and not in the market for another tatoo, but big thanks and kudos to the nice man who helped me. The inside of the shop looked clean and professional. I would think kindness is a superior quality for a Tattoo artist.
