Tristan is not only a phenomenal artist but she’s also amazing to work with. She draws up all her designs based off my inspiration and always hits the nail right on the head. There’s not enough good things to say about Colin. The top piece is a concept that he came up with and I gave him free rein to do whatever and he killed it! The bottom piece was a concept that we worked on together. I had an existing tattoo that I wanted covered and as you can tell he was able to cover it with ease. My entire experience with Colin has been phenomenal! From him doing everything he could to make sure I was as comfortable as possible as well as ordering food in for me throughout our sessions. This dude is the real deal and I can’t wait to have more work done by him!

Chelsea Johnson, skillfully captured every detail of my baby’s tiny feet, which are exactly the same size as they were at birth. This tattoo holds so much meaning to me. I’ve gotten two tattoos done by Chels so far. She is amazing at what she does and wants to make sure you’re happy and comfortable with the entire process. She takes her time getting the stencil on to make sure it’s right and exactly how you want it. I’m getting a full leg piece done and we started with the shin. I had an amazing experience working with @colinthetattooguy. Colin was super funny, great communication and absolutely wicked with the tattoo gun. He worked on this over 2 days for 18 hours and he beyond exceeded any expectations I had. He was super enthusiastic about my idea and I am so proud to have this on my body forever. I highly recommend Colin as an artist. He is friendly, professional but also casual, he is very clean and gives great instructions. It felt more like sitting with a friend than with a stranger for 18 hours.

This was my first time here (my artist moved here) and I was so impressed. It was very clean, calm, and the staff was so friendly. Ive been in other tattoo shops and they often seem like the artists dont have much space but not here. Each artist has a good amount of space it seems. Would definitely recommend this place again.

Dark Arts is one of the most professional and delightful tattoo studios Ive been in. My artist Chels took me on a full tour through the studio before starting to work on my tattoo, and every interaction I saw between staff was pleasant and engaging. Chels did a magnificent job on my tattoo as she always does, and was her bubbly, sweet, enthusiastic self. From explaining aftercare to ensuring that my design was exactly what I wanted, I had a fantastic experience here and will be coming back to Chels for my tattoos in the future.

Got a cover up by Tristan, start to finish I had a great experience. We started with a consultation, that really let me know I was picking the right artist. At the actual appt she was so patient with me making little changes to the tattoo. She did and amazing job and I absolutely love my new tattoo. Everyone at the shop was super friendly. I would definitely recommend the shop but especially Tristan. I have already booked another tattoo and taken a friend to get matching tattoos as well. Overall I couldn’t have had a better experience 11/10!

Colin is the best artist that I’ve ever had. He is cool, funny, and easy to talk to. Which made my 17hr session way better. He truly takes the time to get to know you and is very knowledgable with what he’s doing. His art and technique are out of this world and I’ve been blown away so far with my tattoo and still have the other half to go. I could not recommend him more. They say you get what you pay for, and you absolutely do with him.

The gradient shadows and textures she put on me give such depth to the piece. She is absolutely delightful to sit and talk with! With her light handedness it’s easy to have long sessions. Raina is such a talented artist, has a light hand, makes sure you’re comfortable through the process (even gave me a granola bar for free when I didn’t enough), has fair pricing, and works quickly! She has a cool style too and is fun to talk with.The new shop is so nice! Clean, cool layout, nice massage chairs provided, and heated toilet seats are always a plus lol.

Don’t get your tats done by Allie Bringhurst, can’t speak for the other artists here. Allie pushed my appointment back by a few hours even though I had put a deposit down for a specific time (fine). Got the tattoos and was happy but now after a couple months they have all faded in some way (some worse than others) despite me taking great care of them (moisturizing, no soaking, no sun, etc.) Tried to keep in touch with her about care and possible touch up appointment but after a week post appointment she has completely ghosted me. (She did actually get back to me on IG after weeks of not communicating saying “yeah those could definitely use some TLC!” And now has ghosted me again LMAO). I originally found her on IG and she said her DM’s can be iffy so she had me text her, then when she said they could use some TLC she sent that on IG saying that texting can be iffy…. so how is anyone supposed to contact you…. If you don’t want to regret paying money for your tattoos, go with literally any other artist. I have to find a new artist now to get them all touched up. Thanks for nothing Allie :)

Cant speak for any of the other artists but dont book with Allie. Confirmed an appointment, drove 4 hours to get it done only to have her cancel it an hour before the appointment was at. Told me she was going to be working on and could maybe get me in the next day (knowing I was going to be leaving back that night) said ok I could do the next day, to have her then say she couldnt do that either. Was really excited to get this done and she seems really excited as well, but very poor planning/communication skills. Wasted a lot of money on gas because of her. Thanks!

I have been to Dark Arts Tattoo many times. It is very clean and has a really cool decor and atmosphere. All the artists are very talented. However, I highly recommend Mckay. He tattooed a beautiful black and grey full sleeve on me. He is super chill and an amazing artist. He definitely wants you to leave with something high quality that you love.

Super friendly staff and super clean facility. Highly recommend this tattoo shop if you want professional work done. My tattoo artist was McKay he does awesome work. I have gone to him for 2 years now and always does fantastic work. Highly recommended definitely a 5 star tattoo shop.

I rarely make a review on google, so doing so means that either it was a terrible experience OR that it was an above and beyond experience.ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!McKay at Dark Arts Tattoo did a tattoo on my forearm. He designed from scratch and sat with me to determine the changes I wanted and was able to quickly understand and create the tattoo that I was wanting to place on my fore arm.It turned out PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! I have other tattoo, but this tattoo is by far my most appreciated, loved and proud tattoo I have and now I truly have an artist I want to do all the rest of any work I do.Not only was McKay a respectful, focused and talented artist, his shop represented the same type of respect for its patrons. Clean, well setup and comfortable. Seriously, I recommend this shop and this artist 5 Stars for both. If I could give 10 Stars I would.BRAVO DARK ARTS TATTOO. A SHOP AND STAFF DONE RIGHT!!!!!!

If I could give this place 0/5 stars, I would. Absolutely, by no means, come here. ESPECIALLY DO NOT GO TO BRAD SNOW. I would attach a picture, but I never got my tattoo! Brad cancelled multiple appointments, was very unprofessional, and then refused to give my deposit back. He kept saying he would and ghosted me! Honestly seems like one big scam and is actually pitiful. Save your time and money!

Very professional, clean, and friendly. This was my first time being tattooed and they answered all my questions and didn’t make feel like I was an idiot. Mitch and team have created a great atmosphere and my tattoo turned out amazing. I will definitely be going back.

I tried to book with Allie Bringhurst in June, she was happy to take my deposit and then completely ghost me for weeks at a time and refused to return my deposit when it was clear the appointment was going to fall through.This shop is as scummy as they come, find another artist and another place to go.

This shop is so clean and the artists are top notch, Mckay did my tattoo and not only is he an incredible tattooer, he is an incredible artist who can capture your vision of your tattoo better than you can. Light hand, great line work, no scarring or uneven ink distribution!!!

I havent heard from her since she bailed and that was ~2 months ago. Tried reaching out to the studio but they ignored me as well! Incredibly unprofessional, wouldnt recommend.

Dark Arts is the premiere tattoo studio in the valley if you are looking for black and grey realism or blackwork. Mckay, Mitch and Ethan are all extremely talented artists and conduct their business very professionally. My most recent tattoo is a collaboration between Mckay and Mitch and I could not be happier. From design, to execution, to healing the piece came out perfectly. It is one of the most beautiful works of art ive ever seen. You will not be disappointed.

If you’re looking to get color I would highly suggest going to Collin he’s a great artist and will definitely take care of you.
