Kevan was amazing and agreed to do 3 tattoos for myself, my sister and my brother-in-law last minute. We sent him a description a few hours before and he had drawn up the tattoo for us and was ready just a few hours later! He stayed late for us to get us all done and we all absolutely love our tattoos! Would recommend Kevan to anyone wanting a cartoon type tattoo!

Jose is amazing! I came in with my son last year to have a tattoo done of the family crest and he did an excellent job. I came back this year to have my family crest touched up and he made it look 150 bazillion times better. The man has skill, his lines are sharp, and he is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. The vibe in the studio is very relaxed and enjoyable. It’s very clean and sanitary. Whether it’s your first or your 101s,t I highly recommend Aloha tattoos, and I highly recommend Jose! Jose did such an amazing job! I got two tattoos in one session, albeit smaller ones, but he never made me feel uncomfortable or bad if I need to switch positions or anything else. I got one on my hip area and he made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and overall did an amazing job! Cannot recommend Jose as an artist enough.

My girlfriends and I were on a road trip to Utah and decided half way there to get tattoos. We called to check and see how realistic that would be for the 4 of us for a walk in. Vali was very helpful and professional on the phone to gather our information and help the artists develop our design. Kevan had our design created by the time we arrived and was able to make tweaks to it that we asked. Nick tattooed me. Least painful tattoo I’ve ever had. Clean lines and very thorough. He tolerated our feisty comments and volleyed them back. Fun experience.I will say though, having to pay $160 ws crappy (was originally quoted $250, but got a discount tattoo for my review) for the same tattoo as my friends and they paid $109 (but worked with Kevan).

José, the tattoo artist at Aloha Tattoos, has done an excellent job on tattooing both myself and my son. We are very pleased with his work. Since Jose also tattoos minors, my 16 year old son was able to get a dragon tattoo. I had a butterfly and rose tattoo done elsewhere and José was able to add to my rose tattoo and fix it to my liking. Whether you’re coming to get a new tattoo or need something added on or corrected from a previous tattoo, José is the man for the job. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else, but Aloha Tattoos.

I came to Nick Swagger to get my tattoo. I did my research and thought Nick was the right artist. I have been thinking about getting this tattoo for about five years and I was selective and did my research. i would say Nick exceeded my expectations. I couldnt be happier with my tattoo.

Came here asking for a cover up and the artist told me he could definitely get it done with the design I wanted. I set deposit and come back the next day on time and he still arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment was set. He then took another 15 minutes just for him to tell me it couldn’t it get it done. He then denies telling me that he didn’t say he could get it done. Regardless this was a waste of time and money.

I came in really nervous for my first tattoo but José made the whole experience enjoyable and the tattoo looks genuinely amazing, I couldnt be happier with it! Definitely coming here again if I decide on another tattoo.

This is a re-review from 4 years ago, I got a great tattoo for a great price from Jon 4 years ago.Recently I wanted to get a touch up and wanted to know how much it would cost and availability. When I called, someone told me I had to pay for a consultation because he is busy.I Payed $10 for a remote consultation to someone that was not my tattoo artist and they told me to send pictures of tattoo. Its been 5 days with no response with them just saying to come in and not responding, even doe Im very busy and thats why I did a remote consultation.That being said, Jon is very busy and I get that, he gets a lot of tattoo requests and also owns the shop. I still think they do great tattoos. But I wished someone could of talked to me after spending money about the details of the touch up and price.Its all good. Im probably gonna get it done by a different tattoo artist Ive been talking to about getting work done.Edit after shop replied to my review:Free? I never wanted or asked for a free touch-up. I just needed a ballpark so I can actually budget and be smart with my money like a lot of people do, sorry I cant spend money without knowing the price of things.And yes, I do think that if I payed $10 dollars to just get a call from someone to answer one of my questions. It shouldnt take them 7 days to shoot me a text saying yes or no.

My husband Adam Hicks went for a 3rd tattoo with Artist Chance. Guess what???? He is no longer there! Worst service. Worst tattoo I have ever seen. So unprofessional! They let a great artist get away! They fire a great artist and dont bother calling his book to reschedule his appointments or give you the option of refunding your deposit money. This guy says come on back later that night. He drives back a 2nd time, and the guy changes his mind and schedules him for another night at their Park City location. He is late! The tattoo is terrible...judge for yourself. Shouldve known better! Never again!!! No offer to try and fix this horrible experience. No call back. No refund of deposits. They can Aloha somewhere else. Where is Chance?!

Got a tattoo here on Friday the 13th, and I guess I got unlucky! (The scribbles in the wings are supposed to be “13”) Everything was going fine until midway through the artist tells me she’s an apprentice. She was very kind but I DID NOT consent to being tattooed by an apprentice, nor would i have. I understand everyone has to start somewhere and I respect her for trying, but I felt extremely disrespected by not being told. Ny body is not a practice mat and I have to live with this tattoo forever, so that just seems a little unfair. The owner did offer to fix it for me (by blacking it out) but by that point I was very upset and didn’t want anyone in that building touching my body. So be wary and make sure you ask.

Great atmosphere the place itself is clean. For a tat shop pretty decent privacy areas. Luke did my tattoos, they turned out phenomenal and highly recommend Luke and the other artist.

I went to nick for my color realism tattoo if Amy Winehouse and he absolutely KILLED it. Any realism work I would HIGHLY suggest taking your business to him

These guys are amazing!! I went it with my best friend that had an appointment with Jon to get his first tattoo done. I didn’t plan on getting my first tattoo done that day but I had a few ideas floating around that I wanted to bounce of some of the artists. While my friend was getting his done I sat down with Luke and told him what I was thinking and that it all had pretty significant meaning to me. He then went to town in his own creative mind and came up with an amazing sketch that i just fell in love with that ended up with me in the chair and a tattoo on my arm! Luke was super chill and patient and respectful with me knowing it was my first and it was important to me. He never pressured me into anything and just understood what I wanted really well! The environment is super chill, clean and relaxed but also fun and you can just tell they all take pride in what they do! Aloha is a great place and I’ll definitely be going back for more! My tattoo and my friends both turned out better than we both expected! All these guys are seriously amazingly talented!! I’d recommend them to anybody and everybody!

I baby my tattoos, and have 2 different ones that have red, within 2 inches of this tattoo. I reached out to Jose, who tried to blame my skin, and then told me if I want to, I can drive to Park City where he might put another round of ink in it. Nope.

Brett did an amazing job on mine and my brothers tattoos! We were walk-ins but we got the same attention as someone who scheduled ahead. We were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. It was my brothers first tattoo and the artist did everything he could to make him feel comfortable. I am from out of town and stopped by this local hot spot for a tattoo. Having never been to this particular establishment before, I did not know what to expect. However, the whole experience exceeded any expectations I had. The building was clean, and the entire staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Specifically, my tattoo artist, Chance, was phenomenal. He was patent, understanding, and very talented. Jose did my sons first tattoo of a dragon that he customized and it is AMAZING! Very cool dude who did some super clean lines and went the extra mile to make it a very memorable piece.

Don’t bother trying to get an appointment or a quote for a tattoo. They will charge you $300 for a non-shaded two inch big tattoo, and then will not respond to your questions and ghost you.

I have never gotten tattoos before, got two tattoos here and I loved my experience. Great quality, good work, very professional business! I had my tattoos done by Cesar, and they were very good quality. He spent a lot of time and definitely put in very much effort into every tattoo, the outcomes were great too! We loved this place! Me & my siblings came to see, Yoshi and he made us feel relaxed. I called the day before to see if walk-ins were possible and they were able to accommodate us the next day. We got to meet Jon and Jensen too, super cool and super chill place. Clean and sanitary. Bathroom was clean too lol thats always a plus! Yoshi did our sibling tattoos and we love how it turned out. It was nice to see all different ages come in, young and old adults. Wish there was more room up front in the lobby area, it got crowded but with that being said; positive vibes in expanding and cheers to growth in yals company. :) check them out!

The Aloha location on state street in Murray was a great experience for my friends and I. We had researched ahead of time which artist specialized in our specific style of tattoo. My friends and I weren’t the easiest to deal with so I really appreciated Luke’s patience :) I will definitely be back to get my next tattoo done by him. All the staff was very friendly and assisted us with any questions that we had.

I loved his work, but he is so good that he was booked out a month for even a consultation. It was well worth the wait.He took the design, played with it, and shared his recommendations. It took another month before I could get on his schedule. I went ahead and booked two sessions as I knew it was going to take more than one. He is that in demand.I arrived a little nervous. The vibe in the shop is great-- unpretentious, totally professional, and fun. Luke, Chance, and Kayla are awesome. When I got home, washed the tattoo, and took a look, I was blown away by the detail, the line work, and the precision. Absolutely incredible!!My only regret is that I didnt book more sessions earlier. He is booked out 6 weeks. When I got home, I immediately scheduled another two.Best tattoo shop in SLC!! I cannot wait for my next session!!

I have numerous tattoos from different artists so trust when I say Luke does an amazing job. Class act artist and business man. Listened to what I wanted, discussed options, made sure he thought through what was best to fit what I described and made the environment better then any shop Ive been in. The atmosphere was fun and lighthearted, was like I had known these guys for years and I had just met them. I would recommend this artist and shop to anyone looking for a good quality tattoo. Where to begin....Me and my bestfriend came in today to receive some matching tattoos, which we did receive. I would like to commend the lady and other gentlemen for their hospitality. However, we had the displeasure to meet the artist Nico. Ive seen his work and he is talented, but he honestly was one of the most unprofessional tattoo artist I have ever had. We came in with an idea, and I respect the fact that he turned it down because he believed it would not stay, however the way he treated us and spoke to us was absolutely opposite of what the establishment listed as their values. He spoke to us as if we were an inconvenience, and as he was tattooing us we noticed between tattooing he was watching the TV. No conversation-nothing. We had a simple sun and moon tattoo that was to commemorate how long we have been friends and our very first tattoo was of the same design. What a way to celebrate! The experience we were looking for was not delivered. He created a very uneasy and negative atmosphere at the time and I hope he does better for whoever comes next and sure were all human and have our days, but man that really sucked.

I booked a half day, and forgot to let them know I was bringing my cousin as well. Called to ask if I could give up some of my time for her. They were extremely accommodating and told me not to worry about it.I sent in a couple of photos of what I wanted. Nico talked to me and explained how they may not be the best options and why. He drew something similar, but they both turned out so much better than what I originally wanted!! Nico is a great guy, fun personality, AMAZING tv viewing choices (😂), and just an awesome talented man!The place is clean, the people are great, the artwork is amazing. Just had my 3rd session with Jon and he has been awesome! This was my first tattoo and he has explained everything to me, made me feel comfortable, and most of all, his work is fantastic! I am extremely pleased with every step of the process, and have recommended his shop to my friends. Dont forget they have an amazing rewards program where you get points towards free stuff!

Jon worked on my torii gate monk tattoo for 10 hours or so and it turned out amazing. This was my first tattoo and Jon took the time to walk me through everything and nailed the tattoo. The shop was clean and professional. I would highly recommend Aloha tattoo to anyone looking for a fair price and a great tattoo. The pain was pretty intense but Jon had breaks every so often to break that up and I appreciated that.

My research led me to Aloha Tattoos; specifically Jon. I was interested in getting a Tribal tattoo and he is the guy who has been doing this for years. We had multiple consultations where I bombarded Jon with questions. He was very professional and patient, and helped me with the design I had in mind. After 10 weeks, we finalized the design. It took this long before I am extremely picky and wanted my first tattoo to be perfect. I cant praise Jons patience with me an his professionalism enough. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was visiting from out of town, so I scheduled our appointment online. Communication w/ Rayven was awesome - he was informative, accommodating, and answered all my Qs. When the original artist we were scheduled w/ was unavailable, he set us up with Jesse and I am SOOOO glad he did! Jesse was awesome, super professional, and incredibly helpful. When my friend asked for bright purple ink, he talked her through pros & cons given the size, placement, and the condition of her skin. He recommended a darker shade of purple that would age better. Her tattoo ended up looking amazing!Aloha Salt Lake is clean, the staff is professional (and hilarious!), their work is flawless.Id go back there again, (and again, and again!), without question!!!

I just finished my second tattoo with Luke. From beginning to end I feel that Luke really listened to what I was looking for in my design. He’s beyond creative and wonderfully artistic. I felt comfortable immediately upon my arrival because he was very professional. As I described what I was going for, he doodled on his iPad and made notes. It’s pretty amazing to see your thoughts come together in a picture. He captured exactly what I wanted. Thanks for taking the time to capture my vision and I appreciate all of your hard work!

I went to get my septum pierced and Jace made my experience the best Ive ever had getting a piercing done. He is by far my top piercer now. The shop was super chill too, I was having issues with my anxiety and no one made me feel bad about it, no matter how awkward I was getting.

Just got my first Tattoo done yesterday. And Ive viewed very many other tattoo shops with no luck. I got refered to Aloha by my friend. Aloha is by far the best shop Ive been to! Great customer service, Great Friendly Employees. If I could rate it higher I would. Luke did the best job on my Memorial Tattoo. Ill be coming back many times to get more work done by the great artists at Aloha!

My son had a tattoo by Jesse and he did a great job Mike drew up an amazing picture and Jesse just added to it. My appointment was not set up right so they were nice enough to come in early on Sunday to fit me in. But from the beginning Jesse didnt seem to understand what I was wanting even after many examples. I had a stencil that I picked but had things I wanted changed and shading that I wanted done. After it was done my tattoo looked just like the stencil with none of the changes we talked about. I tried to reach out to the studio and they seemed to care but never got back to me after asking for photos. I just wish he would have told me if he didnt think he could do what I was asking for. I wanted beautiful lace and I got well don sharpie look.

This place is amazing, all the artists here do great work and are very friendly. Brett (toast) did my twin and my tattoos, and they are just beautiful. We walked in, and he really took the time to give us perfect tattoos. Definitely getting all my tattoos here!

Taylor did my tattoo at Aloha and she did an amazing job! I’m very happy with how it came out because she listened well on how I wanted my tattoo. The people there are awesome too, super friendly and helped me asap as I walked in.

We love Aloha!! Each one of my 2 girls has received 2 tattoos from Aloha. One of which was an amazing original design. All of them consisted of A LOT of line work and they are literally perfect!! Luke is their artist. He is a phenomenal artist and is just as amazing as a person. He has a very real, personal and comfortable personality, which is extremely important to me considering he is decorating my daughters. He is a Dad himself and it shows. I had the pleasure of having my sleeve done by CHANCE HAIDER and aside from being one of the most open minded, down to earth and ambitious individual that I have met! HE IS INCREDIBLY SKILLED with years of drawing and tattooing under his belt. I had a half day session to have my half sleeve done and I barely felt a thing. His lines are on point and his black work is outstanding I am incredibly proud to have this on my body. He is an extremely dedicated ARTIST and takes pride in his work. I had a tattoo done at the Park City location and then scheduled a touch up by the same artist on their website at the Murray one. I showed up for my Appointment and the artist apparently no longer works there. I was told he quit on the spot basically. Then I was told by 2 other artists that I should try to contact him directly through IG to get the touch up done. None of them know if he is even working somewhere else but still they refused to help me. It’s a very small touch up but none of them would even consider taking care of it. And they didn’t apologize for not contacting me prior to the appointment. So they sent me out the door with no contact info for the artist, nothing. Super annoying and unprofessional.

Just had an awesome experience with Scottie at Aloha! I did my research, checked them out online and read the reviews......they did not disappoint! Scottie was super patient with me, making sure I was 100% good with the design and placement. The vibe in the studio is super relaxed, almost like a big family. Five stars!! I will go back.

Went in today to get a memorial piece done for my dad based on a handwriting snippet from an old card. Brett did an excellent job and really took the time to work out the best sizing and placing with me, while also allowing me to watch Netflix while he tattooed me (because even after multiple pieces I’m still wimpy when it comes to getting inked). I am so happy with the work, and my family loves it too! Brett perfectly replicated my dad’s funky handwriting and did it quickly and efficiently. Great artist!

The guy that did my ladybug tattoo did not talk much to me, but to the other artists. He frequently stopped to watch the movie they had playing which took more time that I had to pay for. Personally the tat looks ok. I think it could have been done better and in about half the time had he been paying attention. And it took forever for him to get ready and started. Once again for him talking to other people.

This is the best tattoo shop I have ever been to. I had 8 tattoos before I went here. My fiancé and I went together and each got tattoos. Making it my 9th tattoo, but we both are just so impressed with how meticulous the artist (Brett) was. And the other artists there were exactly the same. The shop was incredibly clean and so relaxed and friendly. I didn’t even feel like I was in a tattoo shop with all of the normal noisy machines and the weird smells of cigarettes and cleaning materials. They just make sure it is perfect for any client to walk in and get taken care of. Each artist asked us how we were doing and kept conversations going. Brett was the most gentle artist I’ve ever had tattoo me, we both got our hips tattooed and what is normally a painful spot (each artist kept telling us) he made feel no more painful than anywhere else on my body I’ve had tattooed. We will go back to this shop forever. The line work, color, and utter perfection of our tattoos was enough to win us over. The atmosphere made us permanent customers/canvases. Thank you Aloha Tattoo for not just being another pop up shop giving mediocre quick work. Fair prices and the website is phenomenal as well.

Went here for my first tattoo 4 weeks ago and I have already gone back for a second and thinking about my third. Joseph was my artist and I couldnt ask for a better experience, very versatile and accommodating. From my experience in the shop I would get a tattoo from any of the artists, they work together and know what they are doing.

Quick, easy tattoo experience for both myself and my husband before our flight back to FL. Very clean environment. Tays did a solid job and with some communication it was exactly what we wanted! #1 thing with getting something permanent on your body is speaking up about it before it’s needled into your skin and she was a great listener that acted on the feedback from the initial mock-up design to create something that we were all thrilled with. Would 100% come back when visiting SLC for another piece!

I had a very hard cover up that I needed done. Jon took the time to work with me to find exactly what I wanted and what would work for me. He was friendly and professional. But most importantly he gave me a tattoo that I love and made it a comfortable experience for me. (Painful-sure, but comfortable nonetheless) I highly recommend Jon to anyone that is considering a tattoo. Even if you are just in the decision making process. Jon will be honest with you and wont put something on you if it is a bad idea, I like that I feel like I can trust him.

First of all, I am far from a liar, second I do not appreciate a response as this from someone who did not contact me. Also, time off, I do not have an issue with, I have an issue with rude people and with someone not doing what they say they are going to do, or no RESPONSE!!!! But I did not get a response from anyone until I posted this.If I could give 0 stars I would, went here to get a tattoo done by Goofy, went for the consultation, everything was great. If my daughter hadnt looked on the website, we would have never known that Goofy no longer works there, great, so I email them to set up another appointment with Jon and guess what, no answer, no nothing. Had this appointment with Goofy set up for a week and then I try and get another set up with Jon to do my daughters tattoo and no reply or response back, nothing. Great tattoo shop! I move a lot so all of my six tattoos have been at different shops and this definitely ranks at the top. Chance was so nice and did an amazing job on my piece! And scheduling was super easy.

My review will be kinda of long but I feel I so should share everything about my experience to give a fair review. First off I love! Love! Love my tattoos I got two of them done in one day. Joseph goofy was very patient with helping me design the tattoo I wanted on my shoulder as I was very particular about what I wanted, I asked for a very detailed tattoo and was concerned he would have to make it bigger than I would like to make a quality image but he was able to keep it the size I wanted. He patiently work with me making adjustments on my design again I was very particular. I had thought about adding shading around my tattoo to simulate a sunset but wasnt 💯 sure on it. He reminded me that I can always add later but it not always possible to take away. He also pointed out that because I planned on adding to the piece/ back with on the Future I may want to hold off on the background work. I am sooooo glad I took his advice as when I saw the finished product of my tattoo I realized that had I done the background work it would have taken away from my piece! Now for my second tattoo I thought it would be easy compared to the first but it proved to be more of a challenge as it was an extension off a previous tattoo done by a different artist. Goofy had to hand draw most of the design on my wrist instead of using a stincel to Iinsure size shape accuracy and style not to mention the anatomy​ of the wrist can be tricky for tattoo design. I think we spent more time making sure that design was right than on the actual tattoo process. He did clean up and touch up work on the previous tattoo so it would look like it was done at the same time so it wouldnt be obvious they were two separate tattoos. I will say that had I only been 💯 satisfied with the work Goofy did I would have only gave there to four stars as the design were late and he had to reschedule my appointment in fact I consider canceling all together but went ahead and gave him the benefit of the doubt. So glad I did! His work was over the top amazing I am one thousand percent satisfied.

Aloha is a clean and professional tattoo studio with some great artists! 3 of us got tattoos and we were returning customers, will definitely be back! Reasonable prices too. Chance did the greek bust. Kayla did the parachute and rose.

Was tattooed by Randi today..she was awesome..very friendly, and did such a good job. This was my first time at Aloha and she made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I came in as a walk in and she was busy but was still able to accommodate me. I will definitely be coming back!

I’ve had work done by Jesse Payne on two different pieces, and highly recommend him and the shop. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Jesse is extremely detailed, talented, informed and professional. I’ll be coming back for more work.

Had a old tattoo refreshed and added on to and it turned out awesome. I am really pleased with the work they did and the service I received. I would how ever say that there pricing is a little inconsistent I was looking at a 2-4 sessions of work and was told that it was $170 first hour $150 second hour and $110 for every hour after that till the piece was done. Everything went as I was planning till the last session when he decided to charge me $170 and $150 for the final two hours. I did bring it to his attention and he just brushed it off and said “yeah that’s how it works”. I paid the final amount and am grateful for the work he did but will not be getting another piece done at this shop.

Jon has done all of my tattoos and I will never use another artist. Today, for my birthday, he gave me and my best friend our tattoos that weve been discussing with him for awhile. I gave him my idea of what I wanted and he made it even better than what I was picturing. I love all of his work that hes done on me! Thanks Jon!

It was my first tattoo and I was super scared but all the team there were very supportive with me ( Im a 🐔). Store is clean, looks professional, they made me feel welcome since the first minute. I just finished up a two-session tattoo of a Celtic knot armband around my right bicep. This piece is a coverup. Jon did fantastic work, everything from the consultation up to me walking out the door when the piece was finished exceeded expectations. By far my best tattoo experience, I will definitely be back.

I got a small cat tattoo behind my ear a few years ago that has turned into a blob. I wanted it shaded but the area was too small for the tattoo to be shaded without it bleeding into what it is now 😥 nobody knows what it is, and it’s honestly embarrassing to wear my hair up. The guys at the shop are extremely nice, i just wish he (wish i knew his name) would have advised that it needed to be small lines. Planning on removing it soon, which is not cheap. Kinda bummed!

I had a fantastic experience at Aloha. Everyone was chill and friendly and made my first tattoo comfortable and enjoyable! Chance absolutely killed it, there’s no doubt in my mind I’ll be back again. If you’re debating getting one, do it.

I have gotten all 3 of my pieces done here. I have a sternum piece, one on my shoulder, and one on my calf. Luke is my go to guy for tattoos! I love the work he does and he’s always down for a little challenge. I can’t wait to be inked again!

Went in to get a matching tattoo with my sister. They were very nice and listened to all of our questions and requests. They were very easy to be around and we had a great time! Will definitely be going back

Went in excited to meet with Jon after reading all the good reviews, but was sadly disappointed. I arrived for my 3:15 appointment with Jon to come up with sketches for 2 tattoos. He ate his lunch for a half hour before sitting down with me. Took some notes and then vaped for 10 minutes and then got started. He used the pictures I brought for ideas and basically traced them. He worked on it in the back of the studio instead of collaborating, for 45 minutes on something that shouldnt have taken more than 15 but his tablet wasnt working. Felt pretty ripped off after paying $50 deposit. Filled out their survey that was emailed to me after my visit and requested to be contacted, but never was.

Theres a reason why these guys are at the top. They go above and beyond to keep their clients safe and clean. They have all the technical ability and experience that other shops have, but they also add true artistic value to clients because of who they are as people. Luke is a badass and Jon is a genius. I believe that it shows in the art that they are creating. I love this shop and what it is doing for Salt Lake City.

I researched for months, trying to find the perfect place. I wanted a complicated sacred geometry tattoo with watercolor. I looked at a lot of shops, looking for who could do the best circles and lines. I eventually chose Jon at Aloha. I LOVE how my tattoo turned out. I couldn’t have imagined it better!

So they (as in Aloha the business itself) makes you pay a deposit before you can book the appointment, which is what I did. But then I just get a call saying the artist I booked with (Kayla) is no longer working there. I say no problem, just refund my deposit and we will be square. The manager refused, said Kayla would need to refund it herself. That makes no sense since it was Aloha that requested and took my money. I ask for her number, he won’t give it to me. He only gave me an Instagram handle (I don’t have Instagram). At this point, this is a situation of flat out theft any I will be filing whatever formal complaints at my disposal until they address this massive (and illegal) flaw in their business model.

Staff was kind and accommodating. Jon executed an incredible tattoo for me. Couldnt be happier. Looking forward to working with Jon in the future.

I had the lovely pleasure of seeing Randi Bishop here. She was just amazing talked with my friend and I while we got our tattoos. It made the experience even better. I would highly recommened this shop to anyone and I will be returning and getting another tattoo here by the same artist.

At first all I wanted was some simple line work. I made a downpayment, it was a little bit too much for what I was getting but it was going to be my first tattoo so I was unsure how exactly big I wanted it so overpaying I thought would cover the value if I wanted a little bit more done than was originally expecting.Scheduled the drawing a month out. Thats fine, place may be busy, it also give the artist time to finalize a simple design.Come day of I get a call that the artist isnt in and cant work with me. Okay lets reschedule.another month passes, no word from them whatsoever. Thats also fine for whatever reasons they have, but at this point id like to take my deposit and go elsewhere.I call them, they tell me all deposits, even ones that were overpaid are non refundable. At the time they are telling me this its also a bit too busy to discuss why. They want to call me backThey never do.Edit: Since their response bellow paints a picture of me receiving work I wasnt satisfied with and then trying to get work done for me for free thats not the case.I never received any pictures of work done, or followup from them, that they said that they would do whatsoever. The behavior comes off as them putting off work and hoping I would forget about it for a quick easy buck.I would be fine with buying the sketch for that work being done no problem if i knew one was done at all. Dont think thatd be worth 240$ but hey its all about how they would like to go forward.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!I went in on Thursday June 9th, and paid a deposit to Luke who is sadly the owner of this business. We did a consult and everything seemed great. . This tattoo is so meaningful to me because its a mother daughter tattoo with my mom. We set the appointment for Sunday June 12th at 6 Pm. We had the whole if you need to cancel please give 24 hour notice I of course was like oh no problem we wont be canceling.When I set the appointment we set it for 6pm because Luke was going to a friends wedding and didnt want to be hungover in the morning, which was what he told me. Okay, fine. Again super excited for this tattoo.I took him the deposit so that my design would be done. Seriously all I wanted was words that were in the shape of an infinity sign, very simple design ( the other artist I went to designed it in 15 minutes) Luke swore up and down he would send me a picture of the design in case we wanted to change something. I kept asking, and he kept not sending me a damn thing. I texted him that day, again just checking in, essentially just trying to get a pic of the design, a few hours before we went in... no response. He finally texted back at about 3PM. And he told me that his night turned into a morning and party after literally went till 6am He proceeded to try and get me to reschedule which I said That I just had to talk to my mom first sense we were getting it done together. He then told me I was being unreasonable and needed to be more flexible sense he was the artist and was at liberty to change the appointment. Keep in mind, this is 3 hours before our appointment, and that we had to leave to go to the shop, in 2 hours. He informed me that if he did my tattoo that day it would not be 100% and it would not be good, sense he had to get in and bust ass to get my designs done. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I took him money for the designs roughly 4 days ago!!! And he was supposed to do the design the day that I took him the money!!!!!!At this point Im furious, I ask for my deposit back, sense he did absolutely nothing for it, no design no nothing. He then proceeds to tell me I am being unruly and essentially that I was lucky he was going to tattoo me anyways. Then he tries to tell me to come in and be on time and ready to go. At this point our appointment is in two hours. Im supposed to go in, and let someone free hand my tattoo sense he needed to get some sleep before and let someone permanently ink my skin who has been disrespectful, told me that they were hungover, and not 100% there. How am I supposed to trust someone like that who knew he had an appointment the next day. God, had I gone in for that appointment who knows what I would have on my leg right now, instead I said absolutely not, and went to Gypsy Soul tattoo and got tattooed by Josh the same day and he did AMAZING and did it for cheaper and went remarkably fast, drew my design in front of me and every thing even though I was just a walk in .Luke told me he would have the other owner contact me about getting my deposit back... This still hasnt happened. The fact that the owner is as unprofessional and lacks so much class as this man is awful. A business with this kind of owner shouldnt stay open. Dont go here.I wish this would let me post pics and screenshots of our messages, and things he said.

Just look at how management responds to the negative reviews they receive to costumers who now have permanent art scared to their body from the hands of Aloha.Not saying these people give bad tattoos, but the sheer childish replies they leave to unhappy customers reminds me of spam callers trying to steal my social and I tell them to shove it. Fantastic place, Andrew was really nice, made my friends experience of his first tattoo awesome and easy. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and Ill definitely be returning for my own next piece.

In response to the owners response from my original review:I work hard for my money and its really disturbing that you think its a valid excuse to not hold your tattoo artist accountable for the bonk service he provided. I even mentioned that I understood that people have their days, but to sit here and tell me and my friend that its all about the tattoo and not the overall experience is mind blowing. What do you think keeps people coming back to a shop? The overall tattoo experience, thank you. And to excuse his behavior or should I say projecting his overall bad attitude on us is embarrassing on your behalf; maybe he shouldnt have been tattooing that day if that was the case. We did not deserve that and to say the least the tattoos were subpar for 214$ and a tip which he totally did not earn. Next time Im having a bad day, Ill make sure to project that onto my customers and totally gas light them for it. Oh and thanks for caring about our day and how leaving your shop left a pi$$ poor taste in our mouth. This one is for you.

Great experience i went in for a consultation with a picture of what i wanted and they were able to fit me in right then, luke did an excellent job on my tattoo the detail is great and the atmosphere in the shop is super chill and everyone is friendly. Ive gotten work done at a handful of shops and this has definitely been my favorite and least stressful tattoo experience so far

We have always loved the atmosphere of Aloha & love Chance as he is a great artist & has done a few of our tattoos. The last tattoo however was not what my daughter wanted unfortunately she didnt say anything. The butterflies done were a different style then the water color ones requested...granite she did change the pink one to purple & the other to blue. She had paid $160 for the script 2 weeks prior & he charged her another $200 for the added butterflies that took about an hour & a half to do which she was told prior would be $120-$140 so she felt over charged. Love Aloha & Chance is awesome but may have been a lot of confusion and her not speaking up didnt help. The one with script showing is what Chance did & the other is what was requested. Still gave a 3 despite as have worked with him before & have had good experiences. Also I believe chance would be willing to fix what she needs done....hopefully considering that she is a returning customer.

I had my second tattooo done at Tattoo Heaven while on a trip to vegas in June 2007. It was a tribal arm piece. I had it quoted at 350 australian dollars at my local studio in australia. I decided to do it in vegas so at least the piece meant something to me.I spoke to Jon who is a top bloke and we organised it. We agreed at $400 US (more expensive plus it was american dollars so even worse for me) but hey its not often you get tattooed in vegas so i didnt mind paying extra.So we did the piece and the experience was great good conversation etc. He took an hour to do the job, very quick! This is where the problem turned out to be, when the tatt healed it was very patchy. I cared for it as instructed, Ive had another tattoo before which i cared for perfectly so it definetly wasnt me. The problem with this shop is the aim of the game is to be as quick as possible, which compromises quality, even though everyone is extremely friendly.So back at home, back to the shop where i got the $350 quote, and I have just had the first touch up done at $180, involving a complete re-outlining and re-shading, I still have to go back for one more session and more money to complete the job. It is starting to look the way it should have.The artist that is fixing it has stated it would normally take them 3 hours to do a piece like mine, as opposed to 1 hour. Moral of the story is, if you want quality work, Tattoo Heaven and most likely any of the tattoo shops in vegas are not the places to go. Sorry guys.

In love with my tattoo’s not one not two but three small tattoos that went so fast and no pain but the ankle is no joke wiggled like crazy Lol but Markel made it fast and easy would definitely recommend!

Honestly, I’m new to the city and am looking for someone to do a pretty decent sized piece on my thigh but after reading the way you reply to your customers, I am appalled how a business can be so rude to their customers, especially for such mediocre work. A good business would try and fix the problem, not just rub salt in the wound. Can’t say how personable the employees are because I won’t be coming in, but maybe switch up whom ever you have leaving reviews. Pathetic.

Where to start, a group of thieves who fired the artist commissioned for my work, originally stated that I was due a return of my deposit but then refused to refund a deposit and blamed the artist. Not stating that the artist was paid the deposit, but instead just stealing and keeping my money for themselves.

I had a great experience. Luke was amazing to work with. He has a gentle touch. I would highly recommend. This place. The guys are all friendly and made it a very pleasant experience!!

My three daughters and I went to Kayla over Christmas break to get tattoos together, and it was a wonderful experience. Kayla was on time and courteous, professional and had all of our art ready to go for us. I booked a half day, but she was not able to get us all done in that amount of time, so she had one of us come back later that evening and she was able to finish up after her last appointment of the day. We loved Kayla! So when my youngest daughter decided she wanted to get another tattoo, we went back to book with Kayla. Unfortunately this is where our issues began. I went online and scheduled for SLC location with Kayla. The DAY BEFORE her appointment, I received a text that Kayla no longer worked for Aloha, but that someone could fill in for her, IF we were willing to go to the Park city location the same day but at another time. I asked to reschedule with someone else for the SLC location. We scheduled for about a month out with Jesse. Then THE DAY OF the appointment, we received a text saying that Jesses schedule had been messed up and we would need to come in at 10am that day rather than 1pm like we had planned. That did not work for us, so we declined and asked for a refund. I went back and forth with Rayven and then she had one of the owners reach out. This was on May 3rd. I still have not received a refund. I completely understand doing a non refundable deposit to avoid last minute cancelations and no shows, but this was not the case for us. I am very INCREDIBLY disappointed in the way this has been handled, and because of this, i highly recommend people do not use this shop.

I am writing this because my customer service was over the top, I felt very welcomed. I get my tattoo tomorrow and I will write another based on my tattoo. I also want to say that whoever writes the responses is a savage and it’s hilarious. 😂.

The first time I went there it was great, Luke did a great job! But when I wanted to go back for a second tattoo, I messaged them multiple times and even tried calling them time after time with no response. Very disappointed.
