Not A Cool Tattoo

Me and both of my girls (5 & 14) have all had piercings done by Avery and could not ask for a better experience each time. Super clean, patient and makes you feel so comfortable with the whole process! We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Absolutely amazing shop with amazing artists. I now only get all my tattoos from this shop.The staff is friendly, the owner takes time to talk to customers, and all the artists do fantastic work.Carmen is my favorite artist, but all the artists in the shop do amazing work and are professional in behavior, appearance, and their artwork.

Their fast to get you in for your appointment if you dont have huge designs. Custom work is available le upon request. They have multiple artists on site to chose whos style suits you best. Price will depend on who you go to, if its color or black and white, where it is, etc. They have a nice inside, fun to look at the walls while waiting for your appointment.

I got a second piercing on my ears with Avery and I highly recommended her!! She is so sweet and really good at what she does. My ears are healing very well and I’ve had no issues whatsoever.

So far I’ve had 2 sessions with Carmen. They’ve been the least painful sessions I’ve ever had plus she has great chairside manner, so the whole experience has been very comfortable. Her fine line-work is exceptional! I’m in love with this tropical sleeve (not finished yet) and really appreciate the effort she’s put into creating it. The shop itself is very clean, including their bathroom… & the rest of the staff has been friendly as well! I definitely recommend booking with one of these folks!

Avery did my 7 year olds’ ears and my helix piercing today. It was such a positive experience! The facility is clean and folks take great care of you! I recommend this shop, and Avery, for all your piercing needs!

My artist today was Nikki 🥳 I made a spontaneous appointment and had no idea what I was going to get. She really took her time with me and made me feel valued as a new client and you can really tell that her work is important to her. I am one to give the artist their creative freedom so with that being said.. I typically never have an exact idea of what I want. I showed her the type of flower I wanted and she ran with it and did AMAZING!!!! I absolutely love it and would 10/10 recommend her to anyone that wants work done. Also, the shop was super nice and everyone was very welcoming!

Nikki did a fantastic job on my tattoo. As someone who has social anxiety the employees were very chill and I was very comfortable around everyone. When people ask about my tattoo, I definitely tell them where to go!

I got a cover up tattoo done by the owner and he was just so creative! I gave him a couple things I liked and wanted and he did such a great job at incorporating everything and making it unique! She took photos I sent her with what I currently had and what I told her I was looking for and created the most BEAUTIFUL piece. Lonnie and the whole crew are super cool and, as far as Im concerned...Lonnie smokes everyone else around...hands down. I wanted some skulls...and skulls I got! This is the ONLY place Ill get tattooed.

Walking through the door I looked at my sister in law and said oh my gawd Im home. The decor was amazing. But more than that everyone who works there is so nice and willing to take time out of what theyre doing to answer any questions. I made my appt for my tattoo over Facebook messenger. Honestly I couldnt be happier with the work they did.

I cant say enough about Not A Cool Tattoo and their staff. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed into a comfortable yet professional setting. I have have gotten several tattoos from different artists so far and will keep coming back. Each one of the artists possess the skills and professionalism to consult and direct your vision so you will walk out satisfied and proud of your new tattoo investment.

Everyone here are amazing artists and people! Everyone has so much talent!!! You name the style of tattoo you want, and I guarantee one of these artists can make it happen! Such a cool laid-back environment. I have gotten most of my sleeve done by JP. Seriously an amazing vibe in this place!!!

Every artist here is great and they keep the shop clean. Darby has been my tattoo artist since February. She did such an AMAZING job on my colored sleeve. I honestly feel like she doesn’t get enough recognition in that shop since she’s part time but I will say she was very patient with me, she checked on me continuously and she’s so easy to talk too. If I wasn’t moving she would be handling all of my future tattoos. Thank you Darbs!❤️

I got a nose piercing, (nostril) and I had a great experience. The piercer was very patient, and allowed me to see multiple placements to see which one I was most comfortable with (I was rather particular.) She also explained what each position would entail in terms of care and future jewelry (I plan on switching to a hoop when this heals.) Though, there was only one option of jewelry for my piercing; however, this isn’t the fault of the piercer. I can’t wait to see them expand!

Went in for pricing and got a rough estimate. Was told to go online and request a consultation, and someone would reach out within 24 hours. That was over 9 days ago, and I never heard from anyone. Within that time, I went to a competitor shop and got the work done for half of what this shops estimate was. As someone who manages a large franchise, this kind of customer service would never be tolerated by the people I work with or those whom I manage.From what I saw of the shop from the front desk area, it looked very clean and well organized and had a couple of clients getting work done. I wish I could say I had a better experience, as I originally went there based off the reviews of other clients.

Great artists in a friendly and clean environment. Every artist Ive interacted with is a master in their own specialized art style. They definitely can accommodate something for everyone.

Handled a miss understanding fantastically! But they scheduled me when they were not open and also made us wait for a while.

I have done a lot of business with not a cool tattoo before they expanded. I have had several pieces done by Lonnie and John my son and had some work done this past week and we are extremely pleased and impressed with Shawnas work and performance. Clean, professional, timely, not heavy handed but at the same time perfect amount of spicy. Inside joke with the spicy there. She was very timely and thorough. Sum it up, it gets no better. Dustin did an amazing on the tattoo he did for me. I would definitely recommend him or anyone at the shop. Everyone is very respectful and if you know what you want they get it to your liking. Dustin was also very patient. He did my little girls name “Gracelynn” with flower underneath. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Throughout these years that I’ve been getting tattoos, I’ve been waiting for an artist to absolutely wow me in not only their work but their customer service. Carmen has done that. I’ve gotten two tattoos from her thus far and I love them, and they heal beautifully. Everyone at this shop is super talented. Any artist here can accomplish whatever you may be looking for.

Went in to have a tattoo of a Pop Tattoo design that I came up with. After talking it over with Gator, I had him do the work. Glad I did, the finished product turned out great! Thanks, Gator!

My artist was JP, and I am beyond happy with the work he did for me! I had a horrible scar from below my chest that went past my belly button. I was extremely nervous about getting it covered up, but JP reassured me and answered any questions I had while also working with me on the design I wanted. He was extremely kind and had an AMAZING bed side manner. Matter of fact, everyone in the shop was super helpful and nice! The shop was very clean and neat! I am in love with the piece he did and how it covers up my scar! I will be recommending and definitely getting more work done from JP and this shop over and over again!

My experience was with the piercing, so I waited for my niece all day to come from fort walton to get our nose pierced together this is something we were looking forward to all week. Us both having anxiety it took alot of courage to go. Well when we got there they werent taking anymore piercings this was on their Friday 13th deal day. But someone was kind enough to let my niece go since she heard she came about 1.5hrs away to do this with me. I made the remark in the room while she was getting hers pierced that this was a memory we supposed to have together, she did both of her nostrils, but didnt even acknowledge what I said and my niece was willing to just get one so that I could mine done. Now I understand we should have came alot sooner and that there was a cut off and that the piercer was probably ready to leave, but to me it wasnt fair I was right there i could have gotten it done if she could have pierced her nose twice. I am glad I was there for her but this was something we wanted to do together and I cant get that back. 😕 so Ill be getting mine done elsewhere.

Carmen has done 4 of my tattoos and they have all come out beautiful. I won’t go anywhere else but here. Definitely will be returning.

The artists were cool and very interactive. Im definitely returning for more work soon.

I had an amazing experience with Sami today! The whole shop was friendly, clean & inviting. Sami was way beyond my expectations & I am thrilled with my new tattoo! I 100% definitely recommend!

No pictures to post currently, but all my friends and I talk about this place, and Im pretty sure we each have one to a handful of tattoos by Marc. 😂 I recommend him to EVERYONE I meet and most importantly while his work is AMAZING-His character is that more golden. Hes a genuine, honest guy who doesnt just listen because hes getting paid. He tells you like it is and hes good on his word. The rest of the atmosphere has always been welcoming and they seem to take up time with their interns rather than giving them busy work. Love this place :)

Its was reccomended that we check this place out for custom design work. Specifically Jessie. She did not disappoint in the least bit. My bestie and I had similar ideas with two different ways of executing our friendship tattoo. She was patient with us and did above and beyond what we wanted.

My friend and I were tattooed yesterday by Jessie and it was an amazing experience. She was so fun and kind and the tattoos came out amazing. The shop is beautiful, clean and so welcoming. I highly recommend. Will be getting many more from jessie!! I cannot recommend her and this shop enough.

Cant beat my tattoo by Marc, in memorial of a mutual friend. He got me in super fast right after someone else had to cancel. Super proud of this tattoo. Marc was friendly, engaging, 100% pure pro and everyone else in there also seemed just as chill and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place, despite its distance from where I live, totally worth it.

I went in for a tattoo dedicated to my parents. Marc was my artist. I sent him ideas of what I wanted. He drew up a perfect tattoo. He made sure everything was good before starting the tattoo. He made sure I was okay throughout the entire process. Everything was discussed up front. I highly recommend Marc for receiving a tattoo. He is very communicative through the entire process.

Straight up, stop shopping around, and go see Lonnie at Not A Cool Tattoo. Youre not going to find a better artist at a better price. Hes tattood me for better than 10 years now and I wont let anyone else touch me. I recently took a 16 hour drive back to FL to get him to do more on my sleeve. Hands down the most personable artist Ive ever met. I trust him so much Ive let him free hand my ink multiple times. My wife also has a large piece from him and everyone that sees it absolutely loves it. Great guy, great work, and great pricing. Do yourself a favor and go see him. Dont end up in a different shop regretting your tattoo. Get something you can appreciate and be proud of!

Had Darby do a dragonfly that my daughter had drawn for me. She was light handed, knows how to do color very well and even how to color in teeny tiny butterflies. She is amazing very easy to talk to, she is now my go to tattooist!Thank you Darby

I was referred from people on Facebook. I got into contact with Jessie on Instagram and told her what i was looking for. She got me in that night and the final product looks great. Very friendly staff and clean business. I already have my next tattoo planned with Jessie. She is awesome! Highly recommended.

I have had three pieces done by Marc. The artwork is amazing. His mannerism, is hands down the best. He is an amazing artist with a compassionate soul. I recommend him to everyone!

10/10 Best Tattoo ArtistAll around great guy. The tattoo was astounding. My dad got a birthday present from my mom (a tattoo) he had 5-6 days to decide what he wanted, he eventually got a squid for being in the navy (or marines). The tattoo was great, we eventually became friends with him and we are now great company friends, i have a shirt of his, the shirt shows a frowning face and says not a cool kid above it, i love it.Greatest Tattoo Ever

If I could give this shop more than 5 stars I would. Lonnie is the best in the area for tattoos,the shop is clean, new and very welcoming. Lyle the barber gives amazing cuts AND they have tons of awesome apparel! Absolutely a one stop shop for some fresh clothes, tattoos and a hair cut! I found the front of the shop to be well planned and definitely welcomes all ages for a cut! I won’t go anywhere else to get my work done.

Just went four days ago and got my first tattoo! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and informative. They do everything they can to insure you have all of the information you need for the tattoo healing process, overall they are extremely sanitary and careful. definitely recommend!

Marc is an incredible artist. I have 8 tattoos from him and every one is perfect and beautiful!! Hes blunt but caring and absolutely the ONLY artist I trust and will go to.

So awesome this shop is finally open. Lonnie is an awesome artist and has been doing work on me for the past couple of years and his work has always turned out perfect and exactly as I wanted. Lonnie is also one of the few artists who will actually tell you when an idea is bad and wont work or will look bad down the road which i respect 100% because he actually cares about his clients as it reflects on him. Also in the shop is Lyle who is the barber and a master at his craft I was going to him before he moved into this shop ,and Im excited that they along with the owner of Not A Cool Kid Designs are now working together to bring something awesome to Milton and santa Rosa county in general. So in short I highly recommend both of them. One thing though watch out for theT-Rex he can be kind of shady sometimes.

Gator is this man! I love the way my tattoo turned out. The shop is very clean and professional looking on the outside and inside. Its totally worth the 30 min drive.
