This is my second tattoo that I’ve gotten from Sara ( I know I spelled your name wrong sorry) and I am more than thrilled with it!! It’s something you feel a little anxious about, wondering how your desired image will translate into the skin, however, each time I’ve received a tattoo here the outcome is beyond my expectations, she always adds her own artistic vision to the design which adds something kool to it I hadn’t anticipated!! Long story short, this tattoo artist is one of only two ( the only one in Moscow) in the Palouse area I would trust to give me a DAMN good tattoo!! Thanks alot for the awesome tattoo, I shall return again next I want a new tattoo!!

Just got my nipples pierced by Parker! He is so nice and talks through each step while it’s happening. The apprentice with him was also so sweet 🥹 they held my hand since I was nervous. Def recommend coming to him!!

Wonderful staff, relaxed atmosphere and amazing artwork. The staff listen to what you want, get your input in the design and they make sure it is exactly what you want. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the stations, equipment and environment. I will keep going back and highly recommend them.

I got a helix piercing and a lobe piercing here a month ago. While everything was sanitary and everyone was polite, I don’t think they take piercings seriously and I will not be going back.I need titanium jewelry due to allergies, and the only kind they had available was a 20g butterfly backed stud. I had my doubts, but I decided to stick with it since the shop had such high reviews and the shop followed good sanitary procedures.My helix piercing isn’t healing properly because my hair gets caught in the butterfly backing and sharp gem corners constantly, pulling it. I have just read that butterfly backs are not actually industry recommended because they accumulate excessive bacteria, nor is 20g recommended because it can tear through skin and cartilage if tugged hard by accident. Never mind that the backs can come off—I actually lost the original backing for the helix 3 weeks out while washing my hair, even though I did so with extreme care as I was anxious about that happening. I had to salvage the butterfly back from the new lobe piercing and switch it early to a spare flatback stud I have. I should not have been offered that kind of jewelry. I would rather have been turned away and been told they had nothing for me.I was also told I could change my jewelry after 4-5 weeks for both — I had 6 ear piercings before this, including another helix, and I’ve never been promised a healing time that short. I have always been told 6-8 weeks and I’ve found that to be true for me. I am new to this area from afar, otherwise I’d have gone to my old piercer. It looks like this place does great tattoos, I just couldn’t recommend their piercing services.

I got my first tattoo there a while back, and kept coming back! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Cera is one of my favorite artist there!

Absolute best experience I have ever had getting tattooed. Everyone was so welcoming, it felt like I was part of the family. Kris Thomas did an incredible job on my half sleeve with precise detail and intricate shading. 10/10 recommend, you will be more than satisfied!

We had an appointment for my spouse and I to get matching tattoos. We ended up slightly changing the design and they worked with us and made us feel great about the design. We ultimately went with the artist suggestions and we loved it! The appointment ran longer then expected but they stayed open for us and got us taken care of! The environment was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Will come back for my next tattoo for sure!!!!

I contacted Cera about having a mother-daughter tattoo, she told me she was booked but she would try to squeeze us in if it was small. I emailed her the picture of what we wanted told her what we wanted and she said she could do that no problem. I was so happy and put down the deposit, and Cera had 20 days to prepare for the tattoos. We get there early and showed Cera the picture again and she said this is bigger than expected and told me that it would be too busy and she thought it would be smaller. Even though she seen the picture 20 days in advance. I still have all the emails. I suggested just have my mom get the tattoo and Ill reschedule so I didnt put her out with the time issue. She responded back with Im booked until October. She complained about it being too hot. That the tattoo was too big, and went outside and smoked for 15 minutes. She didnt get back until 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment and by this time I was already feeling very uncomfortable. I felt like Cera didnt want to do the tattoos and I did not feel welcome . My mom and I decided to leave so we werent causing issues with the time and we werent comfortable. Cera asked if I wanted to reschedule after telling me that shes booked until October. I asked politely to get our deposit back as we felt unwelcome and not comfortable and we showed up to actually get the tattoo. Cera comes back with sorry no it clearly says so in the shop, that she didnt know why we left in the first place after she took the time to copy the picture on her computer. I feel like Cera could have been nicer and should focus more on customer service than her own issues that she was having that day. Also if she couldnt do the tattoo she should have just told me with the first email on July 7th. I would have gladly waited to have a better experience. Surely 20 days in advance is enough time to prepare for a tattoo. I wont be coming here again, Ill find a more respectful tattoo business.Response:I feel like youre a little bit biased on things dealing with your shop. Youre not seeing things from a customers perspective. If yall experienced what we did at a different tattoo shop or another business for that matter, yall would be leaving a review. I have all the texts and emails and I dont see anything abusive. I did say that we didnt want to mess with yalls closing time, and offered to do mine a different day so there wouldnt be a time issue. I was always respectful to yall. I was just telling you my experience that I had at yalls shop. Isnt that what reviews are for? I dont regret my decision to find a better tattoo shop, Ill still have a perfect tattoo in a place I feel welcome and comfortable. Good luck!

They were highly recommended by many friends in the area. My first appointment got rescheduled because the artist said they werent happy with the design and wanted to rework it. I said I appreciated the honesty and was willing to wait for something good. The quality of the final results were far beyond my expectations. Great staff, fantastic artists and an overall awesome experience.

By far the best experience Ive had at a tattoo studio. The staff are friendly and down to earth. The artists are all talented and made us feel so comfortable! They do amazing work and I couldnt be happier with how my tattoo came out. We will be back!

Highly, highly recommend this shop! Super clean, super friendly, and very professional, this shop radiates good vibes and everyone here is so kind and welcoming! They followed Covid protocol to a T too, very clean, and made sure everyone was following protocols to keep safe, distanced, sanitized, temperature checks at the door & masked, I was super impressed. I was pretty nervous going in for another piercing, but the piercer (didnt catch his name, took the advice of the other reviewers and looked for the guy with great hair) did amazing! He has a super relaxing voice haha, anyway, youre in good hands if you come get done at this place! Thanks guys! My partner and I paid good money to get stabbed here and they did a beautiful job. I felt safe and comfortable. They were kind and patient with me as it was my first piercing as an adult, and I was so nervous.I definitely would say my septum piercing was a 1/10 on the pain scale. Partly because our piercer was so nice and emotionally supportive.I feel so bad we didn’t get the name of our piercer, but he had really nice hair. Get the guy with the pretty hair to pierce you.

I had a great time and the staff was very patient when I had to go and get my birth certificate for getting a piercing :) the person who did my piercings talked through it all and was very nice and quick. I highly recommend. (Also, amazing prices. It was half of what I thought it would originally be)

I went to go get my belly button pierced, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. My piercer was kind and eased my nerves.Not only that, but the process was painless. And I mean absolutely painless. It was a clean and quick, and if I could, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Every one here is so amazing and great, so welcoming and does great work. Treated my husband and I like family from the first moment we walked through the door. When my husband passed I couldn’t imagine anyone other than cera doing my memorial tattoo. And I have never been in love with one of my tattoos as much as this one. I met Talisa at the Tattoo Expo 2022 on Friday evening. My son and I waited all day for tattoos from another tattoo artist there. At the time my son was ready for his tattoo, the coordinator at the booth told me they didnt do custom tattoos. I was saddened, but walked around while my son got his tattoo done. I stopped by Talisas booth and she said she would be glad to do my tattoo. It turned out beautiful!! I am so happy I met Talisa on Friday!! She is down to earth, real people and I felt comfortable immediately. I will be recommending her to everyone who asks for my opinion!!👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

First off, this was not my first time in a tattoo shop but it will be the only shop I return to! I originally had an appointment with Cera but her pervious appointment ran longer than expected. She was able to get me in with Telisa who did an absolutely amazing job on my small simba tattoo and was even able to add a name to one of my previous tattoos in the same sitting. I spoke with both artists and they were really wonderful ladies! Ive already made another appointment with Cera to have a larger piece done. I would highly recommend Swan Family.

Friendly and clean shop. Telisa is an amazing artist and I won’t go to anyone else. The only tattoo artist and shop I recommend to family and friends. Have traveled far just to see her and get some ink. Hands down the best tattoo artist I’ve met. Very pleased every time and will keep coming for as long as she is making tattoos!

Had an absolutely incredible experience here. Very peaceful vibes--all the artists are warm and easy to interact with. Cera Foo is a wildly talented tattoo artist and extremely professional--she could understand exactly what I wanted before I could even convey it. What I had planned was realized absolutely perfect on my body, literally couldnt ask for a better job.Ultimately, my tattoo came out utterly beautiful; an overall excellent tattoo experience. Most definitely will try to be back!

I got both my nostril and my tongue pierced by parker. He was a nice guy and I’m sure he did his best but he really messed up my tongue. I got it pierced and not only did he pierce it directly through the muscle but he also pierced it at an angle that caused it to hit a nerve. I went and got it looked at because I couldn’t talk, eat or drink 8 days after getting it pierced ( when I was told the swelling should go dawn by day 5). When I went to have it looked out I was told that it needed to be taken out immediately. Once it was out we found out it was also pierced with an externally threaded barbell which apparently is really bad for new piercings. While I was having my tongue looked at I was told that my nose piercing was in the wrong location and was actually moving and tearing the scab that was healing as I was talking and my face was moving, which was causing a lot of pain and preventing it from healing. I’m sure they do great tattoos but I wouldn’t recommend getting pierced here ever. I still can’t stick my tongue out without feeling a shock rub through my tongue and I really hope that goes away with time. I have had a very unsatisfactory experience and will not be going back to swan family ink for any piercing needs.

Great talented tattoo artists! Sarah does awesome intricate & detailed work! This business is family owned so a lot of their skills are passed down to their relatives and each person finds their strong suit, and they can easily find the right artist for what you want on your body!

Absolutely great artists. Been going there to get a sleeve done and they have great table-side manners while working. I do wish they had more staff so they werent booked out so far in advance, but that really shows how good they are at their work.

This is a great place to get a tattoo. I have gotten 2 tattoos from Dean Swan and both turned out better than expected! They have been very professional and compared to my other tattoo experiences I have nothing but great things to say about the quality of work and how great the people there are. I HIGHLY recommend getting work done, weather you have a design ready to get tattooed or you have ideas, you wont be disappointed.

I love this shop so much. The shop is very clean and everyone is so friendly! Telisa is paitent and helped me design unique art work for my body. Shes even touched up/fixed a tattoo from another artist. Ive been going to her for several years, several tattoos and piercings and she is the one I am coming to to cover up my mastectomy scars.

Telisa has done three tattoos for me, including a bigger-than-softball size color design that, five years later, is so vibrant people think its only a few months old! While she is the only artist Ive gotten work done by, I have zero doubts that everyone else is top-notch. Talisa runs a tight ship, and whether color or b/w, youre going to get the best tattoo of your life at Swan Family Ink.

I went to try to make an appointment after being impressed by their work I saw online. After walking in to an empty building, I ended up waiting about 20 minutes before I finally saw someone. It looked like they were busy with someone, so I made my presence obvious and waited. After patiently waiting for over an hour without even any acknowledgement I finally just got up and left. I ended finding a different shop in Pullman that was more than happy to accept my business.

I love it there!!! I got my first tattoo done by Telisa about 4 years ago and now shes done three and were working on my fourth. Even before I had my first done, my friend was saying you should come to Seattle to have it done by a specific artist because she was so awesome! Turns out that artist that my friend liked so much is Telisas daughter Cera who is now tattooing here!!!! They are all fantastic. Its a great atmosphere and you really feel like part of the family there. And lets be real, anyone who can tattoo a barn owl and make it look REAL is beyond AWESOME!!!

Got my nose pierced tonight and a friend got her ear pierced. I cant remember the guys name who did it, but he was so kind and did so well! And it was super reasonably priced. Would absolutely go back for any other piercing needs.

I enjoyed my first experience getting a tattoo with Kris! He helped improve the initial tattoo design that I found. They had a friendly and easygoing atmosphere and provided good tips about post-tattoo care.

Sharing my yelp review here: I have been going to Swan Family Ink for years. Where to begin? I had a piece done somewhere else (not naming names) the work was terrible and I was embarrassed to wear anything that showed it off until Telisa Swan did an amazing cover art that I absolutely love. Three years later I have completed four additional pieces. It is clear that this award winning shop knows their craft real well. They are always keeping up with tends, techniques and tools of the trade. Like all artist they like to work with their clients to create pieces of art that capture the ideal masterpiece.

I got my second piercing done on my earlobes there. They were very professional and made you feel really comfortable. The piercing was painless and they had a great selection of jewelry. I would highly recommend going here.

I just recently went there for my first tattoo. Dean was a great guy, he was very patient and willing to work with me. He did a great job in a good amount of time.

I walked in to get a ear cartridge piercing. My friend was present and my ear was NOT cleaned before getting pierced and my ear is purple and extremely swollen. I called and told them what happened and what’s going on with my ear and first of all, the lady on the phone mocked me thinking I couldn’t hear her on the phone. Second of all, after I mentioned that my friend and I saw she didn’t clean my ear prior to piercing my ear and it’s infected, she said “sweetheart we are very professional about our piercings and I’m sure that didn’t happen to you”. Unprofessional, and highly would NOT recommended to anyone.

I just got my brothers name in his handwriting on my wrist to remember him because he passed away this month 6 years ago. Dean did it prompt and perfect and listened to my little ideas and gave honest opinions that he respected if I took or didnt take. He made the experience a memorable breeze and I am very happy with my brothers memory so perfectly done :) simple but well done! I would go back there and probably will go back with my next tattoo I already have planned! (Now to get the money!)

Nice ladies and very good tattoo artist there. Great prices, this place is well worth checking out. They have trophies for days. You want a great tattoo from very nice people, this is the place. Another thing I liked is they pay attemtion to detail and have some really solid advice when you have qiestions.

I received my first (and currently only) tattoo from Swan Family. Telisa did the artwork, and it turned out beautifully. Crisp lines, minimal pain, friendly conversation, clean shop. Im planning on going in for a second tattoo with Telisa sometime in the next few months, and greatly looking forward to the experience. As long as Im in the Moscow/Pullman area, Swan Family is the only business putting ink on my skin.

I was young and I decided to drive all the way to Idaho, from Washington to get my first two tattoos done here. Me being 17, I wasnt sure what to do or how tattoos worked exactly. I drew up my ideas and sent them in to the artist and instead of taking the time to redesign them and make them presentable. They traced my drawings after I got there, so I sat for an hour and then they tattooed MY drawings on me.. Mind you im not an artist.. So here I am a year and a half later finally getting them covered and redone the right way by someone who knows how to work with people. Very disappointed that they didnt have better service for someone young and still learning the ropes. Thank God I know them now at least.

Cera did a piece for me and my daughter. She is a very skilled artist. Nice tight, fluent lines. Gentle touch. Great all around expierence. Im already planning another.
