If you’re looking for a new tattoo shop look no further! This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are so much fun and so welcoming! We shopped around and no other tattoo parlor in the area was as cool of a vibe as this place. The owner (Dave) was really awesome and super respectful. My husband and his friend were tattooed by Justin and he was just as amazing! Clean shop. Clean bathroom. The music was really nice as well. They also have a cute fish tank. Love our work and looking forward to getting more work done there! 100/10

I’ve had tattoos and piercings done by all the artists! They are amazing! They really listen and add their input as artists, tattoos are always clean, professional, and the results are amazing! Dave, Chris, Cody and Jeff are the best! And Jenn is always so sweet! I can’t brag enough about them! (I added my latest one now that it’s healed. Today we added more to it!)

Dave gave me a sweet tattoo on my left forearm arm 1 year ago and it still looks incredible!! Chris gave me a tatto on my right shoulder that looks awesome still after several months!! He really took his time and gave my son exactly what he wanted. The icing on the cake- the place was immaculate. Like OCD clean. Great experience! Clean and professional. Our daughter had her earlobes pierced. Dave took his time to make sure the marks were placed correctly, explained to me how the process would go so that I could be ready to help my daughter along the way, and he moved very quickly through the process to keep things rolling and get it over for her asap. Great experience. Her piercings look perfect and are healing wonderfully!

This is the best tattoo shop in Navarre! From the start theres really good parking. Its a friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Theyre really quick to help you even if its busy. The shop is always clean. The prices are way better than any other shop in the area, and the tattoo quality is phenomenal!!! Highly highly recommend checking them out

This place is so clean and inviting. Dave did such a great job with fixing up an old piece and adding so much to it! He is extremely light handed which made sitting through the tattoo really comfortable. I am stoked about it! Even got my septum pierced after and it went smoothly!

My friend and I came here for matching tattoos, we requested an appt for the next morning and they got us in right when they opened at 10am. Dave and Jeff did a great job, were very friendly and professional. The tattoos look great, and the shop is super clean/welcoming. When we were done my daughters wanted to go in and get one too. My wife and I were looking for a Tattoo Artist a few months after our son passed away. Everything and everyone was pointing us to go see Dave at Oceanwave. We went over there, spoke with several associates who were incredible, and they scheduled our appointment. We went to our appointment, and had an incredible time. They took care of us better than I could have imagined. Amazing and prompt communication all around, Amazing designs, amazing and professional work. It would be hard to put in one short paragraph how “GREAT” Dave and Ocean Wave Tattoo is. He has been working on getting me sleeves and to say I am very happy would be an understatement. It’s very rare to find someone so committed to their craft. The shop is always spotless clean. All the staff (most importantly his wife Jennifer) are amazing. I look forward to each visit. Wanted to bring a permanent memory back from this trip to Navarre, so me and my bestie decided on some ink and so glad we stopped in at Ocean Wave Im in awe of my tat.. This old lady has forgotten the kids name that did the work. Hes not really a kid but hes only been there for a few weeks but hes been doing tats for 16 years and I could sure tell... I loved my tattoo when i got a year ago, He did it for 80$ which was very reasonable, but it did not age well, the lines blew out, and a huge brown spot appeared about a month after and has never gone away, I also got an ear piercing done here peirced with a ring, and it rejected.

My daughter and I recently got tattoos by Dave. We had a great experience! Dave was very friendly and personable. It was my daughter’s first tattoo and he was very considerate of that, making sure to ask her if she was doing ok and checking on her throughout. While it was not my first rodeo, I was very impressed with Dave’s technique. Very light handed. Shop was nice and clean. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go back!!

Everyone in this shop is very professional and clean! We contacted them about a month before visiting Navarre and sent them what we wanted. When we arrived Friday we went by for final adjustments. We showed up at our appointment time and Dave went to work. He is very thorough and made sure we were satisfied the entire time and their pricing is very fair. Highly recommend this shop if you are feeling adventurous on vacation like we were. We were able to get right in without an appointment or having to wait. Walking in you can tell the shop was very clean and orderly. The piercer was great to work with which was cool too! I wanted a black swan movie tribute piece and brought in my idea and he made it 10xs better than what I had in mind ahd he was lighthanded and did this masterpiece in two sessions. I came here while visiting out of state to get two tattoos covered up. When I tell you the artists did an amazing job, they did AMAZING. My artist was Melissa and she was extremely nice and gentle. Everyone in the shop was so friendly and easy to talk to. They all do amazing work. It will be the only tattoo shop I will get tattoos at in Florida. I highly recommend!. I was a walk in doing a memorial piece for my mom that passed July 27. My birthday was Aug 9 all I wanted was a tattoo for my mom. Got the 100 gumball tattoo it looked basic on paper but the artist I had made it look amazing and brought it to life with the shading. And seen all three work super sick would highly recommend especially if its your first tattoo. Super nice and friendly treat you like family. All are super light handed. Visiting from out of state, and usually I’m very particular on who I let touch me with a tattoo gun. After studying Daves work as he tattooed a couple pieces on some close family friends I made the decision to let him do a very sentimental piece for me & I was not disappointed (the bigger thigh piece). The line work was great & I loved that he took his time & understood my needs & what I wanted, also being very straight forward and honest. Those are the best traits you can have as an artist and an owner of a shop. Very professional. The staff was very nice, not once did anyone make me feel uncomfortable. His wife was also very communicative & sweet.The shop environment was very welcoming & I didn’t feel overwhelmed. I got my conch pierced about 8 months ago here and it was absolutely amazing! The only thing? I can’t figure out how to take the dang thing out so I can change it. But other than that? Absolutely amazing!!!

My 2 best friends and I are on vacation and decided to do spontaneous tattoos while down in Navarre. My artist Zack, (i think that’s what his name was), Was amazing. I did not feel rushed and he made me feel at home. He did exactly what i wanted and gave his opinion on what would look best. Very quick and very gentle. My tattoo maybe took 10 minutes tops. The whole shop was very nice and clean. Everyone there was nice and would definitely go again!

Went here to get my vertical labret done. It was an amazing experience, everyone was very friendly, supportive, and helpful. My piercer was also friendly and very informative. I got a navel piercing they were quick and somewhat painless but please make sure the bar is the right size bar 🙏 i struggled with that and it caused me pain and discomfort

While on vacation a week ago with my husband, we stopped in to get some new ink based upon their excellent almost 5 Star Reviews; THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Let me tell you why:1. FRIENDLINESS: If youre going to spend more than an hour in their chair you might want to like them. I had Jeff and he was super sweet and had a calming demeanor. I went in for the tattoo nervous and left like a BOSS thanks to him. My husband had Dave and states he was very engaging during the tattoo process.2. CLEANLINESS: Extremely important to this business and imperative in this industry. Their booths are very sanitary and so are the products they use to ink you with. We were both dressed with Saniderm before we left. Surprisingly, I was able to leave mine on for a at least three days when in the past they usually fall off within the hour. Thanks to Jeff for talking me into at least leaving it on for the day :-)3. COMMUNICATION: We came with our ideas and they were able to translate it into a unique piece of art. They asked lots of questions for clarity and provided us suggestions when needed.4. STUDIO VIBE: Many parlors do not have an intimate studio-like type setting. Decor was lively and distracting and the music played was spot on for the genre I prefer. Additionally, the chairs were comfortable enough to go to sleep in if you really wanted. Bonus points for the Jolly Ranchers in Jeffs booth.5.ARTISTRY: Last but definitely not least! If you cannot already tell by this novel of a review...AMAZING! My husbands tribal shark was intense with its savage line and detail work. Dave also modified the tattoo to make it stand-out in a sea full of tribal tattoos. JEFF! The tattoo I received from this man was more than I envisioned. The colors are bright but not busy and looks like a tattoo straight out of a tattoo magazine. His craftsman ship is truly remarkable. Extra Bonus points again for his super light hand. Truly probably my favorite piece. It will be worth the drive to come back in the future.Hope this review helps you make the right choice.

I had my very 1st tattoo at Ocean Wave. Several of us were on vacation in Florida and decided to get tattoos. My friends searched for tattoo shops in the area and chose Ocean Wave because they had the best reviews. The staff was friendly and courteous. The shop was very clean and comfortable. Every step of the procedure was explained along the way. Afterwards, we were given verbal as well as written instructions for the proper care of our tattoos. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend Ocean Wave Tattoo.

Starting with the shop, it is so clean and a vibe itself, it really makes you feel safe and comfortable with either tattoos or piercings. The people are just genuine down to earth good people. Dave is an amazing amazing artist and he genuinely cares about the people he is tattooing as well as the work he is doing. Jeffrey haas such a nice soul and he does crazy good work as well. All artists are also very versatile and well trained in all styles and subjects. It is overall a wonderful atmosphere and has unbeatable pricing for the quality of work you are getting. Jenn and Dave have done such a good job building their shop from the ground up and created a great atmosphere to create the art that they do daily.

Overall experience is 10/10. Im currently half way through a sleeve tattoo being done by Dave and I can honestly say it’s been a phenomenal experience thus far. All staff within the shop are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I’ve gotten tattoos from many different shops and I will say that Ocean Wave is by far the cleanest shop that I’ve gotten work done at. Dave is doing my tattoo and he was quickly able to take my idea and bring it to life as well as ensuring that it is exactly what I want. He was very informative on how the piece was going to come together as well as instructions for after care. He helps time pass throughout the tattoo with great conversation and good stories. Jennifer is awesome as well. She is Very helpful, informative, and transparent. If you want a tattoo or piercing, I highly suggest Ocean Wave. Awesome service and experience. Dave did my first tattoo last fall and I knew when I wanted another he would be the one I wanted to do it. He does an amazing job. He is a great artist, runs a clean shop and his prices are fair. I was so nervous the first time but he makes you feel comfortable during the entire experience.

We came to visit from Oklahoma and heard from a worker at our hotel that they were the best we went to check it out and loved it! The service is great they all are great people and It was nice to get to know them! Me and my mom got matching tattoos and we love them! We recommend Chris but the other artist are amazing as well!

This place is great. Dave pierced my belly button and septum and he was so cool and chill which made me less scared lol. and hyped me up with the septum! they both healed well in a month and i love them. will definitely be back for more piercings and some tattoos!

Upon entry this place was very kind and welcoming. The guy at the front desk was really nice and it gave me a home vibe. Didn’t have to wait too long, and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint is how rude my piercer was. The whole time he was complaining about how he didn’t want to be piercing me and would rather do tattoos. Also my piercing wasn’t a new one, it was just a replacement of jewelry which was nothing but a 30 second process. I thought the complaining and cursing was very unecessary, but I still ended up leaving a tip in hopes it would make him nicer to other people. Would’ve been 5 stars if his service was better.

We had Chris and Melissa and they were amazing artists. Very friendly and easy to talk to, and they did amazing work and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Great experience. We walked in and got our tattoos right away, but there was also no one in line.

Ocean Wave Tattoo was exceptionally clean, the staff extremely courteous, and their work was way beyond my expectations!! A tattoo is a permanent decision and one I do not take lightly. Dave sat down with me after I gave him some insight of what I was wanting, and together we created a piece of art that is simply stunning!!!

I walked in for a septum piercing front desk lady was very nice. When I walked back there I got my piercing it went well. Unfortunately I have a bad reaction to piercings that I wasn’t fully aware of. I sat down in the lobby to relax because I tend to pass out. I felt very nauseous so I ran to their bathroom. Yes I puked on the trash can I felt incredibly embarrassed. I had a friend with me and she helped me clean the bathroom. We apologized to the front desk lady since the guy who did my piercing was starting on someone else.She also was driving me home, about 15 minutes later my emergency contact got a call and she told me that apparently I needed to go back and clean. I went back feeling even more embarrassed and anxious since we had tried our best but they didn’t have cleaning products so it was tough. When we got there after like 20 more minutes of driving, we showed up to clean the bathroom. The front desk lady then explains that he already cleaned the bathroom and I should just apologize. I walk into a room where he is currently tattooing and tell him that I would like to apologize for the mess. He then tells me that he had to sanitize the bathroom where I then apologized again. When I left the only thing I felt was embarrassment about a medical reaction. So I left a short and honest review then they again contacted my emergency contact to talk about the review. I understand that you are a family owned business, maybe I came off as rude but in all honesty. You should have never called my emergency contact I felt like a child.

Super easy to work with and was flexible on the design. I have several tats from other places around the US and this place is top notch. I would recommend him and his shop without hesitation. So glad we picked this tattoo shop to get our matching sister tattoos on the bachelorette trip we took this past weekend. Extremely clean place, friendly and helpful staff, flexible and willing to help us find the perfect tattoo design. Dave has very clean lines and was super fun to be around. Did everything timely but also paid close attention to detail. Wanted everything to be “perfect” and took it very seriously as to how our tattoos looked. He has a very light hand and the tattoos barely hurt at all! The nose piercing experience was very smooth and sterile. Will definitely go here again if I’m ever in the area! Highly recommend.

Went and got a tattoo by Jeffery twice in the same week. He is a very talented artist as were all of the other artist there I checked out a little of everyones work during my two visits. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and a great atmosphere. Ill definitely be coming back for more tattoos in the future and its not a local shop to me as Im coming from south Carolina I just happened to be on vacation and it rained the whole week so I choose to take a chance and do a walkin visit and I was beyond satisfied.

By far the best tattoo shop I have ever been to. I’ve been here like four or five time in the last year. Dave usually does my piercings but it was time for another tattoo. Chris did my tattoo and it is amazing. This atmosphere is great. It’s not like your typical tattoo shop. It’s a lot more child friendly. 1000/10 recommend using them for tattoos or piercings.

We cant say enough positive things about Ocean Wave Tattoo! We went in knowing we wanted tattoos of our family crest but each of us wanted something different. I went in to see Dave today to get my orbital changed out to a retainer. And Dave was amazing with getting it done in a timely manner and it was affordable. Definitely will be back for piercings, to buy, and to change more jewelry in other piercings with Dave. He also gave me some great advice on what to do next time when I only need the retainer for one day.

Dave was awesome! I took my mom in to get her breast cancer tattoo. Dave was extremely professional and runs a clean shop. He got her tattoo done and it was the exact size and color she wanted. I got dermals done, and couldnt be more thrilled. His process is sterile and he answers any/all questions you may have. Came here to get my rook pierced and the guy was so fast and made great conversation while piercing my ear. Haven’t had any issues since with my piercing and the prices are so perfect that if I lived down here I would be going here for all my piercings. Defs am going to come back next time I visit!

These guys and gal were absolutely the kindest ever. My piercing (done at another shop in PA) fell out of my nose so I showed up with an earring in my hole and everyone made me feel so comfortable and laughed with me. Then my sister got her nose pierced and it was the absolute best experience. This place has a great staff and wonderful service. They kept apologizing for the wait and it was only a few minutes! 10/10 would recommend!

My best friend and I found this place back in October and it’s been one of the best tattoo shops I’ve been to. I have had bad luck with belly piercing not healing right or my body rejecting it. This place knows their stuff! I am so thankful I found them! Walked in to try for the 3rd time and the gentleman knew right away why mine had not worked in the past, I had a tummy tuck and that changes things. He could tell right away and told the piercer exactly how to approach this piercing. He even made a custom bar because of the situation. They want to do things right and care for their customers. The place is very clean and everyone is professional. I would recommend them and will continue to do business here.

Phenomenal job on my piercings!! I got my industrial done and my ears pierced about a month and a half ago and David did a phenomenal job! Super quick, and has healed really really well so far! I couldn’t have asked it to turn out better.

Dave absolutely killed my tattoo. I had a forearm tattoo done with a realistic flower and lion and he knocked it out of the park. I could not ask for a better piece of work. He also pierced my 3 year old daughters ears. He was very good with explaining and making her comfortable. He was so good my daughter did not shed a tear. Such a lovely shop! We decided to get tattoos on a whim on spring break, and though we were told it was a terrible idea:) it didn’t feel like it at this shop. The artists were careful and did wonderful work on all of us. Clean, friendly, beyond charming, and I think we’d all be willing to drive a few hundred miles back to get more tattoos here:)

David is friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I had my bellybutton pierced somewhere else and it was crooked and and sore for months. I finally removed it and went to Emerald Wave Tatoo. David took one look and explained the error with the piercing I had received at a different business. I’ve had my new piercing for 8 weeks now and it is PERFECT! Went to Navarre for vacation this past week and wanted a small tattoo. We passed this place on our way to debs coffee drive through and decided to call about pricing and appointments, (shout out debs for keeping us caffeinated!) 👌🏻 David and his wife Jen were both super personable, friendly and easy to work with! The shop is clean, the decor is nice/good vibes and the waiting room is comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo experience, we will be back next time we’re in Navarre! I love love love this place. everyone is so nice and creates such a fun and relaxing environment. tattoos are always very clean and professional and look amazing. got almost all of my piercings done here as well and all healed fast. don’t want to go to any other shop!

I just got both of my lobes pierced, first ever piercings, it was $70, and the service was amazing and quick, he reassured me and made me a lot less anxious about it! I’ll be going back for future piercings!

Im not a person to leave Google reviews, but this place has been the best Tattoo experience Ive had. Not only have they fixed my septum piercing, I got my favorite tattoo from them today. Chris is extremely light handed but tattoos to perfection. Ocean Wave Tattoo also works within their clients price range. I have no complaints nor regrets about coming here. This place is now my go-to for all things tattoo and piercing. Seriously.

David pierced my daith a couple weeks ago. He was super quick and very professional. Today I stopped in so he could change jewelry for 2 other piercings I had messed up while changing and he was very kind and accommodating and it was quick and painless. I will definitely be going to them for any future tattoos and piercings, and bringing my daughters to get their ears pierced too!

Dave is amazing!! He gave me exactly what I wanted and even made it more than I expected!! Super friendly. Him and his wife are great people, very professional, and the shop is neat and clean. Very homey. Will definitely be going back!

Chris is absolutely amazing!! Not only is he a TRUE tattoo artist but he’s has the absolute best customer service. Most times you go to the beach you think you’ll spend 200 on a tiny tattoo but not here! Got big letters almost 4 times the size of this other one I got and it was the same price. If your in the area I 1000% recommended this place
