Our daughter wanted her ears re-pierced. Setting up the appointment was easy. Bill made her feel at ease and super comfortable and she was surprised how painless it was. She is very happy and excited to have her ears pierced again. Would 100% recommend! Thank you!

I took my daughter here for her industrial piercing. Joshua Grant did such an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable, well educated and very thorough. A Master piercer in fact. 🤩I had taken my daughter to a different place 3 years prior to coming to Altered Ego. When she got it done the first time, the piercing rejected due to the lack of placement & amongst other things the piercer failed to do, and relay. I had gotten mine done that same day, at the same place and my had rejected as well. 👎🏼🚫When getting it pierced at this shop, it was a totally different experience (a happy one!). His precision is on point. It honestly was an emotional experience because of the past trauma both my daughter & I endured — after Josh was done, my daughter looked in the mirror and shouted “Omg it looks so much better” with tears running down her face. That’s how incredibly happy Josh made my daughter 🖤 Seeing that alone, made me emotional as well. It was in that moment that I knew that this was going to be my guy and my home shop. I’m pleased to say that we’re 3 days into the healing process & I can tell that it’s healing 100% properly this time around. It looks beautiful. There’s no redness, nothing. ❤️‍🩹🙌🏼His shop is also beautiful and very clean. He takes his time with his clients. He will never do anything you’re not comfortable with and he WILL talk you through the entire process. He’s gentle and genuine. 🫶🏼I can happily say that I’ve found my home tattoo & piercing shop.👏🏼🤞🏼His prices are very reasonable. And, as an experienced client who has several tattoos and piercings & has been to several other shops, I would absolutely recommend going to Altered Ego. You’ll thank me later. ⭐️👐🏼NOTE: The first two photos shown were taken right after getting the industrial done and after leaving Altered Ego. While on vacation in Michigan, me and three of my friends decided to get tattoos. Altered Ego was one of the only shops that accepted walk-ins. Josh was our artist and did a fantastic job on all of our tattoos. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. Friendly atmosphere, fun, but still professional and very clean. We highly recommend Altered Ego for all your tattoo, and piercing needs.

I had my nostril re-pierced by Josh as a previous shop had done it and I ended up with a bump that wouldnt go away so I had to take out the old piercing and had Josh put in a new one in a different spot. He was SO thorough throughout the entire process, answered all of my million questions, helped me pick out the perfect jewelry, and was super patient and kind. He made me feel comfortable, did not rush, and took his time to make sure I was happy. I would 100% go back here for any other piercing as theyre extra clean and sanitary, fair pricing, and overall have great customer service.

Loved this place! We came here from Ohio on a trip and wanted tattoos, they were one of the only places that excepted walk ins and got 4 of us in! The whole team was super nice! I even impulsively got a new piercing waiting on my turn for my tattoo! 10/10 recommend them! Very clean!

I got a daith and Medusa piercing from Josh and it was the most incredible piercing experience Ive had, and Ive had 16 piercings. From the time I walked into the studio until I left I was treated like a long time friend. The shop is clean and welcoming. All the staff greeted me and interacted with me throughout the whole process. Ive found my new home shop for any of my tattoos or piercings from here on out. Thank you guys so much!

I got my navel pierced with Josh today and it was a really great experience. The studio is very clean, everything was sterile, Josh and the rest of the staff were very professional. I was super nervous beforehand, but after talking over my concerns, having all my questions answered, and having options available, I felt so much more comfortable and relaxed. He was very knowledgeable and shared his years of experience, which put my nerves at ease and let me know I was in good hands. I really appreciated that. He spent a lot of time making sure I walked out of there a happy client, and thats exactly what happened. If I decide to get more piercings in the future, I will be coming back to see him, and Ill definitely be referring everyone I know his way. Thank you Josh for a chill visit.

Got 3 piercings done on one ear and they were also very accommodating with doing my sister in laws in the same appointment. I was picky on my placing and she was very understanding im so happy with how they turned out

Bill was amazing with explaining everything to our daughter when she became nervous after arriving to get her ears pierced. Very kind and polite. Paige was wonderful with keeping our daughter in high spirits to help her regather the courage after becoming nervous. She reminded her of all the pretty jewelry she was going to be able to buy. 10/10 would recommend to any of going here.

At age 58, this was my very first tattoo. I was just coming in for a consultation and had already texted my artwork. It was small and they said they could do it today. They took the time to scale my image small enough for my wrist and were so professional! Well done!!! I LOVE it soooooo much!!!
