Great experience! Everyone was patient and friendly. My wife, son daughter and I all got tattoos. We already each have our next large projects picked out.

I’ve had a few tattoos before (including the one I needed covered up). I went to Inkslingers despite a negative review taking about it being too expensive.You get what you pay for (which, again, is why I needed a cover up).It was SO much less expensive than I expected. So, I don’t know…maybe just ASK before you get the tattoo?If I want another tattoo, I’m 100% returning here.

Had an appointment at 7 p.m., showed up on time. Watched people come and go that waited before us. Then watched people show up an hour and a half after us get seated before us. Watched almost the entirety of fifth element with ads. No tattoo, just a waste of time. Bummer.

Amazing service the owner was kind & professional. Got 1 belly piercing for my sister in law & got mine changed. Very knowledgeable in the piercing & healing process!

I called in advance and asked for a vertical tragus. They said yes they do them and I even asked to make sure it was the right jewelry. I get the piercing and everything was fine untill it stared heavily rejecting. I took the bar out and it was an EYEBROW piercing jewelry. NOT a staple piercing. Very upset as I paid $130 including tip for this piercing and now because of other peoples belligerence I lose money and I piercing I’ve been wanting for years.

Ive been going here for a little over 4 years now...clearly that speaks volumes. Ive gotten over 16 tattoos here with plans of several more on deck. If youre looking for some sweet ink, check out my man DJ! Hell take good care of you and listen to what you want while kicking it up a notch. This is my most recent custom piece.

They were very nice people, and the tattoos were good. But they are absolutely willing to scam you lol, thought I was going in for 2 simple tattoos (maybe $50 each), 2-3 inches of black line work…380 dollars. I would suggest finding a different shop, especially if you are not very experienced with tattoos.

Do not get your piercings done by DJ. I got my second holes and had to get them removed even after trying to keep them in hoping the pain would go away. I couldn’t even remove them myself… went to a piercer and had them remove them and he even struggled and said the person that did my piercings messed up big time!

My dad and I went in today to get our first tattoos and we had the nicest people! 10/10 would come again

Ive been here 2 times now, Shannon did my tattoos. She is very good! I am very happy with what she did! I definitely will be back, anyone I came in contact with at this shop have been extremely friendly and kind!

I got two tattoos over the summer by Kevin! Im in love with them. The artist are amazing in there (all of them)!!!

I got my nose pierced here and it healed great. Got my belly button done back in september, thougg, and...not so great. It slowly started ripping out, and i could tell because it was only irritated on top. Realized, my belly button collapsing on the bottom bead when i sit was causing too much pressure. Had to take it out just a few days ago :(. Im so sad. I hope i can get a floating navel when it heals bro 😔✌️

This rather be a longer review, but needs to be said. i had just gotten my daith pierced here a couple of days ago with my friend. we’ve had extreme discomfort, and being told that the piercings shouldn’t be in this much pain well after 24 hours of it being done. my friend and i have had many body/ear piercings in the past and have never had an experience like this. i’ve been having to take ibuprofen for the way its caused my ear to feel in throbbing pain and discomfort. you shouldn’t need painkillers of any sort for any piercing. not to mention the area wasn’t disinfected in any way; the needle was actually bigger than the actual gauge of the piercing placed inside my ear which caused so much excess bleeding! AND my piercing is too tight which is barely given it room to swell, let alone heal. the only jewelry option we had is very cheaply made and would probably tarnish in my ear if i left it in for longer than a week. i don’t recommend getting any piercing here, it was unprofessional and we were very uninformed and misinformed!! completely wasted $120. be careful!!

DJ is an amazing tattoo artist. I got my first tattoo done from him today and Im going back in a couple days for a half sleeve. I love the tattoo he did today and Im sure I will love the one hes drawing up for me as well! He is a very talented artist, hes professional, good sense of humor (pretty awesome taste in music also!!) I am so glad I decided to have him do my tattoos!

My friend and I went for some dainty line tattoos. Charlie worked with me and he was great. Super friendly, light handed, and gentle. My friend worked with DJ, also very friendly and light handed. He helped her find just the right placement. Our tattoos are perfect and exactly what we wanted. Front desk was kind and helpful as well. We will definitely be going back soon.

Nice staff, GREAT work. DJ was amazing. We planned an ink therepy day with our friends. 4 of us in total and my tattoo turned out way better than i had anticipated. I am definitely going back even though we drove from lansing to get our tattoos, it was well worth it!!

I went in to get my nose and my belly button pierced, and the entire experience was pleasant. My piercer was Dj, and he talked me through everything. Id never gotten anything besides my ears pierced, so he made me feel very comfortable. The piercings were quick, and Ive only had a little bit of pain, hardly any at all. Overall, I highly recommend here for piercings.

DJ Burns worked on my tattoo and exceeded my expectations. I came in with an idea and he took it to a whole other level. I am extremely impressed and pleased with how mine turned out. Very clean and professional environment as well. I am looking forward to future projects I want him to work on for me. I highly recommend them if you need some work done.

Dj pierced my nose and was very informative about the aftercare and what all to do with it. It was quick and looks perfect, I’m very happy with it. I’ll definitely be coming back for more piercings and tattoos, he was super professional and friendly. Thanks again DJ.

Great first tattoo. I was in and out pretty quick (my design was small) and Andre did a great job, took his time and was professional. I would go back here for my next and am recommending my brother/friends here too.

My husband and I went in for our first ever tattoos. Brandon was our artist and was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted and designed the perfect tattoo for us (matching tatts on our wrist). I had 2 additional tattoos that look amazing. He was very professional throughout the entire process and super easy to talk to. Our appointment was on time and we were given all of our aftercare info before we left. We would highly recommend Brandon at Inkslingers and will definitely be going back!

I went and had my septum piercing done and everybody there was super nice! I was very nervous to have it done since it was my first piercing, but the guy who did my piercing was very patient. Definitely a calm, friendly environment!

My niece and I did walk in to have our navels pierced. I had mine redone, this was her first time. A previous place turned us away and said they could not redo mine and said her navel was too small. Came here. They looked at us and said there will no problem. We were in and out in 15 minutes. Our navels were pierced. DJ and Charlie made us feel comfortable, they were professional and even made us laugh.I had a tattoo by Ben a few months back and it was exactly what I wanted, it is perfect.I will always go back here !

I havent actually used their services but the website lacking.... Well EVERYTHING, had me shopping elsewhere. Its a shame to because Ive heard good (and of course a few bad) things about the business but being that well know of a place, just seems that leaving their website being less than desirable. I had to go where I felt they actually took enough time and pride in themselves to at least show it. I mean they are supposed to be artists, their website should be 5he very first art that a shopper would see. Its advertisment, and theirs just lacked.... A lot!!! Unless Im missing something, Im which I would apologize! Is there a difference website? Is there a super secret ninja way to get in to their web address?

I had a wonderful experience here, DJ was professional, a great conversationalist and an amazing artist. This was by far the best experience Ive had in a tattoo parlor. Seems to be a family run business and everyone there was very kind as well. 10/10 will he sending everyone I know here.

Been wanting a nose piercing for awhile. Friday my daughter took me and, Inkslingers were able to squeeze me in. I’m going admit I was a little nervous but, Dj, my piercer was AWESOME! Before I could even think of flinching he was done! He made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had. He even wiped my tears! Lol Thanks Dj for the great experience!

I called before to make an appointment to there were very fast and effective. they were overly sweet and super quick. They had me in in an hour for my appointment and had such a great environment and great personalities good little side talk I really appreciate how fast they were and would 100% recommend going there I will for sure be back next time I need a new piercing.

Will N.O.T be coming back here 💯💯.I had a memorial tattoo done about a month ago and it’s already starting to fade in some spots 🙄. And their shop price is ridiculous. Found another shop that does amazing work for half the price. I’m never coming back here.

Ive been here a few times and they have awesome customer service: the owners, reception, artist, and piercers. They are very professional, compassionate, and well informed. I look forward to coming back

My experience here was great. I was SO nervous and they made me feel very comfortable to get my piercing. Mike was amazing, it was clean and quick. I recommend to everyone!

My sister flew in as a surprise from North Carolina to visit our family. While she was here, we made a last minute decision to get matching tattoos! What a great memory we shared getting tattooed by our brother Brandon. He was very professional in his work setting, nice and clean and very informative about after care.

Honestly, the piercer, Andre, gave so little consideration to talking about what I wanted that he ended up giving me the wrong piercing. I wanted a labret and he gave me a vertical labret...hopefully I end up liking it enough to not have to take it out. I didnt say anything at the time because I was confused about what I said I wanted vs. what I got. He really should have asked literally anything besides assuming that I wanted a side lip piercing and when I said not a side, Id like it in the middle, he said no more and proceeded to pierce directly up through my lip. Ill deal, but its definitely not the piercing I went in for. Sorry Andre.

Great tattoos. Dj did a wonderful job on our tattoos! He is attentive and really listens to what you want. He is also funny and made this a great experience for me and my best friend! I will be back to get more work done!

I really appreciate the folks at Inkslingers- my brother in law just passed and we wanted to all get a tattoo dedicated to him. They got all 6 of us in the same day, were super friendly and accommodating- and the lines were clean and crisp. DJ’s got jokes for days and we all had a much needed laugh. Great work, thank you. DJ helped me plan my tatto. He was very professional and the conversation was great the whole process went very smooth and was faster than I thought it would be Im extremely happy with the end result!

Me and my wife went here on a Saturday, asking for a consult. Charlie at the front desk is who we dealt with. We had shown him an idea of what we wanted, he told us that he would have to draw it up and said it was something that he could do. He scheduled us for the next day, Sunday at 12pm. He said to give him some time and he would come up with a piece. He was quick on coming up with some ideas that same day and messaged us and we were pretty much pleased with. All we ask for were some minor adjustments that he said would be no issue and he would show us the final drawing before the appointment. Come Sunday at 10 am we still had not heard from him, so we asked if he had come up with anything. He responded and said, no, he had like “30” other people he had to help out with the night prior and didn’t get to ours. I then asked him if we were still on for the 12 pm appointment and it took him till after 12 to respond with, “he’s not sure” and will get back to us. He never did. We had already planned out day around this which was a let down. I don’t normally complain but the fact that he hyped it up, and actually booked us for an appointment, is what really ticked us off. We would of just been happy if he would of told us a little bit before the appointment that he had to cancel or reschedule or didn’t want to do the work. That would of been a lot more respectful than just blowing us off and waiting for us to contact him the day of. My advice is, don’t let Charlie book you if he has “30” peoples sketches to do because he obviously is busy, even tho it didn’t seem like he was that booked if he was actually scheduling appointments for the following day. Go elsewhere.

I was charged and absurd amount for a blackout tattoo that was 30 minutes long. This was done on a Friday and today on Sunday it has completely rejected and peeled off. I have many tattoos and this has never happened before. The service was also highly poor with an unclean shop. Will not be going here again

Got my first tattoo done here by Dj! He took my ideas for the design and went to the next level with it! I am absolutely in love with this piece! Dj is an incredible artist and he makes you feel super comfortable in the shop. I will be highly recommending Inkslingers and Dj to everyone I know!!

For my first ever tattoo that I got, it was through brendan and I have never been more proud of a piece of artwork in my life! He made sure I was comfortable and happy, I highly recommend going to inkslingers if you are a beginner with tattoos or in general. I love it!

Got a tragus and helix. Very comfortable atmosphere and gave after care instructions even though I walked in with 6 piercings.

Brandon was wonderful in taking what I wanted and creating a beautiful memorial to both my father in law and my grandfather

Ive gotten my nose pierced twice, and my belly button ring which my body rejected here, but both times with my nose they have messed it up from the person who was doing, was high. This place is great for tattoos but go to Lance Keller for piercings in my opinion.

I had 2 regretful tattoos from my teenage years one on my right foot another on my left ankle. I needed 2 cover ups! Ben Mosser came up with 2 beautiful designs for my cover ups, and the finished results are stunning so glad I walked in that day! Loved the friendly atmosphere! Would recommend.

My boyfriend and I went for a walk in and were helped immediately. Kevin did both our tattoos and did a great job!

I got my septum done here and the guy pierced my nose through the bottom of the bridge...After an hour of research even I knew the piercing was way off. When I went back in to show the owner (mike), who was the piercer, he told me to come back in three days to get it re done. Three days isn’t barely a fraction of the time you should take to let it heal before having it re-done. I would absolutely not recommend going to this studio to anybody.

Im not one to be negative at all, but i do not recommend this place for piercings, this may be a rather long review if you would like to take the time to read. I got a septum piercing today. Me already having gauges and a many friends who have piercings i knew what i was getting into. I get in and everything was ok then came the piercing itself, septum’s should not hurt as much as mine did. Right off the bat i knew something was wrong. It was WAY too far down and WAY too far back. Septums should sit at the front of your nose. Please please please do your research! I took it out as soon as i got home and it hurt so so so bad, i was crying real hard and for reference i didnt cry for any piercings or stretching my ears. Hope this review helps anyone who needs it.

DO NOT GET YOUR INK DONE HERE!!! Overpriced and not good whatsoever. BOTH myself and my mom regret getting our tattoos here because they both look AWFUL!!! Small star behind my ear needs intense touching up yet they wont do it, when I got the tattoo there. Probably shouldnt have them touch it up anyways since they clearly have no idea what theyre doing. Hope this place gets shut down.

First time going to inkslingers for a tattoo. Brandon Wattenbarger did a tattoo on my chest near my heart of my husbands handwriting, he did an awesome job! Looks exactly like my husbands writing. Brandon is very professional, clean and sanitary, I would recommend him to do your tattpps.

If you cant decide where to go, GO HERE! Go here if you decided to go somewhere else too! I got four piercings done here and they are the best. Super cool and nice staff too. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Went for Friday the 13th tattoos. I got a little dagger and ice cream. 13 dollars tats.DJ is great it took about 10 minsI had no wait, we had a time to be there.Thanks Inkslingers some of the best artists there is.I am definitely going back.

The place was nice and clean, I got a tattoo with Brandon and it turned out amazing, he did a great job with my tattoo, I went with a couple of buddies and their tattoos turned out amazing too, it was a great studio with some great artist, highly recommend

My brother and I had an appointment today, we got there and DJ the artist told us we had to wait one hour because he had someone else in there. We came back an hour later and he told us another 2 hours! My husband was explaining to the owner what has happened this far and the OWNeR started cussing and threatening my husband. HORRIBLE EXPEIRENCE. NOT ON TIME UNPROFESSIONAL

I got my tongue pierced there and would go back in a heart beat. He was clean fast and talked me through everything. They got me in right away and made sure I was comfortable. IfYou have any doubts go here

Wouldn’t recommend getting a piercing here at all. Owner pierced my septum extremely low (took it out and got it redone at Lance Keller) and didn’t acknowledge it. Also did a standard nose piercing and pierced it WAYYY lower than than the nose piercing I had on the other side. Also had to take that one out so it was just a giant waste of $80. Just go to Lance Keller.

Dont judge a tat by the price. I have a $13 thats flawless. Im proud of it and show it to everyone. Ive gotten many compliments on the exemplary line work.I wish I could say the same for my latest ink.
