I came up with the design and fonts that I wanted, Alex did an amazing job, so precise. Me and my friend got matching butterfly tattoos with each others initials, hers with color and mines without. He also did the appointment 2 hrs before the actual opening time on Sunday. A+++

I’ve been going to Fred since 2019 when I was first referred to him by a friend. I came to him with a messed up tattoo hopping he could fix it. He was able to fix my tattoo for a good price considering what he was working with. It’s been five years now and Fred has completed a 1/2 sleeve on me and just completed my second coverup on my back. I’m so happy with the results of his work

I went to Dali yesterday with some friends so that two of us could get lobe piercings. Everyone was so cool and nice, talked us through the process and let us take our time to get the placement right. Would definitely recommend if you want a good piercing!

Got my ears pierced after many decades of walking around with one boring pair. Now I have three! I was so nervous despite being an old Gen X lady. Jose was so patient and gentle. He explained every step along the way and made sure I was comfortable with the process as we went along. It took no time to put in my studs (two in each lobe) and I am an official rude gyal!! OK not really but I am definitely feeling a little sassy and dangerous. Ive been following his instructions for care and these babies are healing nicely. Who knows, I may get another set. We shall see.

Always great energy when I come to this shop, just an incredible atmosphere. Clean and welcoming environment. Fred is always my go to artist, he’s calm and exceptionally talented. You bring him an idea you have and he can execute it as is or help you to expand upon it. What a guy. I will definitely be back for more work.

I was very scared to get my ears pierced, but the staff was reassuring and very professional. The whole process was quick from the moment I arrived. The studio was very clean and the staff very kind - plus the friendly dog helped me stay calm throughout the whole process.

Could I give zero stars?? I went because of the good reviews and now theyre going to get a negative one because those good reviews were NOT my experience. I had to get an MRI and ONLY needed my conch earrings screwed back in. I had opal jewelry in my ears. One dropped on the floor. Zero effort was made to find it. I ended up finding the opal. Was asked how much do you think its worth? Oh well.. buy new jewelry. Give me a good tip. 25.00 plus a ten dollar tip to put 2 piercings back in. By the time I got to my car I noticed the other opal is gone. The back was in but it came out. I had to spend ANOTHER 25.00 for an earring and their time. No discount, no let’s give you a discount because we füçked up. Zero care that my earring fell out I JUST PAID to get back in!! 60 dollars to get earrings screwed in and I’m out one of my beautiful opal. Livid.Im not from here, thought I was going to an okay place and that was a total lie. Now Im missing my other opal. I feel like I got scammed into buying their $h1tty jewelry. If this is how they do piercings or customer service.. I cant imagine how they do tattoos.. AVOID. Literally go anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic! A really chill atmosphere and very professional. I highly recommend for getting piercings done here. They listen to their customer and make them feelwelcomed/comfortable. Plus it’s very clean and well decorated. I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars. Will definitely be going back here for any future piercings.

Was expecting a straight No when I walked in without appointment but they were very friendly n welcoming. ended up doing 2 designs finished just when the next customer (with appointment) came in. Love it

Was honestly scared to get my first tattoo but Fred was very great. Excited to help me and provide care. I never thought I’d be so comfortable at a tattoo shop. I’ve gotten a couple more since then and it’s lovely every time I go in!

This is the worst place. They put a belly bottom on me, while I was standing up, and it was leaking after 6 weeks and it was red. When I went and showed it to another place where the person has over 20 years of experience in doing this, he told me that the button was too close to surface and would never heal. He took it out and gave me lots of instruction and medications of how to take care of this wound!We are in the process of taking legal action against this place!!Stay away from here! They have no idea what they are doing to a persons “body”!

I got my nose piercing done here with my friends & it was really good! He made us very comfortable even though we were nervous. He was very relaxed which made us relax a little. It was $60 for the nose piercing—cash only—which was reasonable because it included the jewelry.

Marsh is literally the best. I brought a photo in, and she not only did the tattoo exactly how I wanted, but made it even better. Super professional, clean, and no problems at all. If youre interested in black/greyscale tattoo or line designs definitely reach out to Marsh!!!!

I came here to get my helix done last year and it is so messed up, i have a raised bump where my percing is because they made it too tight and now i cant get any additional earrings in. Now my whole upper ear is swollen and messed up. Do not go here.

Got my industrial done here about a year ago and decided to come back here for a tongue piercing. It was quick and easy, the staff is amazing and the inside is cool. I highly recommend coming here :)

This shop comes very highly recommended by me. Freddy was extremely professional. He more than once highlighted a dedication to his craft, stating himself that the customer pays his bills and he wouldnt dream of doing shoddy work. Ive dealt with multiple tattoo artists in the past, and all of them seem like amateurs in comparison. Up until the shading, I didnt feel a pinch. The shading only hurt a little bit, and he was done with that part within 5 minutes (small tattoo, about 4x2). Ive never had an artist finish as quick as he did with such accuracy and extremely little pain. Line work is straight and it doesnt have a single imperfection. I can see why hes one of the highest rated artists in New Haven. I WILL NOT see another artist again. Worth every. single. penny.

I got my septum pierced about a month ago at Dali tattoos. The process was very sterile compared to other shops Ive been to. Max was very accommodating when it came to scheduling my appointment. Fred also gave me a good pep talk before my piercing because I was super nervous.

Best experience ever getting a tattoo. Super great artist as well as incredibly friendly and down to earth. The entire experience was great. Incredibly clean. Wonderful people. Don’t hesitate. This experience was way better than others in the downtown area. Highly recommend.

Really awesome environment, I felt a little nervous going in for my nostril piercing (I havent gotten any since my earlobes at Claires when I was a kid lol) but it went great and the piercer was really nice and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend Dali Tattoos, I only got my nostril pierced but my friend was looking at a tattoo photo album they had at the shop and the art was incredible! They also worked with me on scheduling which was very very appreciated! 10/10

I met Freddy through a mutual fellow tattoo artist and upon reviewing his line work and realism, my decision was made. He did my lion and I am in absolute love! Professional, welcoming and worth every penny. I will be getting more here for sure.

Cool talented people & great prices!

Talked to the owner and artists about the reviews about them. And they told me it was a artist they had recently fired who had his friends and girlfriend review bomb the store. All of those people never even step foot in the store and arent even from the state. This shop gave me great customer service and want as far as saying that they were my butlers. They worked with me every step of the way and worked with the price I gave them and never tried to force a higher price on me. The owner even said that every person signs a concent form and gets their Id scanned and none of those reviews were in there database. But in short this store treated me great and made me feel very welcomed. Love the tattoo they gave me cant to come back to finish it

Love my piercings, that guy who did it made me very comfortable and he was very considerate of the placements, sanitation and he was a cool person in general. The piercings did not hurt at all and they look beautiful. Very happy with my experience here.

Today was my first time getting tattooed at the shop. And I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE SEEKING A TATTOO! The owner is very gentle. He made sure I was comfortable before and during my session. The shop is really CLEAN, Which is a MUST for me!

I was pierced here several months ago, and my piercing ended up being terribly crooked. Additionally, the bar on the jewelry that they provided was too small since they pierced by ear at an angle. As a result, my ear began swelling the following week and my jewelry would sink into the piercing hole every few hours. My skin actually began to heal over the jewelry! I had to instead go to West Haven Tattoo, who were super helpful, and I highly recommend going to them instead. Now, it has been months, and the damage done is honestly irreversible. I must now wait for my piercing to heal and pay money AGAIN to have my ear re-pierced, which is more money. Do not waste your money or risk a poorly pierced ear!!!

Set up an appointment for a tattoo and after I drove all the way there they informed me the artist wasnt able to come in. No phone call or anything. So unprofessional.

It is safe to say that Dali Tattoo is the best tattoo shop I have ever visited. From the big glass window to the open space that the shop provides I felt most welcomed. At the time, I was really happy with my piercing! It was a little uneven, but I thought it would heal fine and this was my first industrial piercing and the piercer didnt say anything so I was fine with it. I had a really special reason for getting this piercing but it was pierced so far on the side of my ear that Ive had to take out the top scaffold section and just keep the helix. Really disappointed because now it is obvious that the piercer should have known better than letting me walk out of the studio. The picture is after a month of healing and it wasnt nearly that bad when I got it but obviously now its not great

As soon as I walked in I was ignored, looked at pictures of some of their work to pass the time because I figured they were pretty busy even though there was only 3 cars in the parking lot. I waited for over an hour to even talk to someone about getting my ink done. And when somebody finally approached me he was very rude and acted like it was an inconvenience that I was even there. Needless to say I won’t be coming back due to the terrible costumer service.

My experience here was great . Fred is a dope tattoo artist. He brought my idea to light. I would definitely come back and get more work .

HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible experiences. Came into get a piercing fixed they could not even and took it out completely closed the hole. Music was blasting, they were on FaceTime just standing around did not know what they were doing. Completely unprofessional.
