High Dive Tattoo & Piercing

Very good experience! I got a nose piercing for $75 today. as a walk-in on a saturday i only had to wait like 25 minutes which was great. everyone working there was very nice. Eli did my piercing and he was so friendly and chill which made me very comfortable during the whole process of getting the piercing. i would definitely suggest going to this place :)

Just got back from getting my tattoo and I love it! They were having a flash sale for Friday the 13th and overall it was $80. The location is really nice and inside is full of beautiful artwork and they have a great waiting area. I didnt have an appointment and was literally sat for my tattoo within 15 minutes and the whole tattoo lasted about 30 mins. Seth- my artist- was incredibly polite and knowledgeable about their craft and we had a really great conversation during the tattoo (which is nice because my placement spot was very painful so it was a good distraction). Overall, my experience was great, my tattoo came out really well, the price was reasonable, and Id definitely go back! 5/5 stars- Long Cat Girl :)

My mom and I went to Seth, each to get small, black, simple tattoos but he treated us like we were each getting giant color back tatts. He took his time, was patient, easy to talk to and collaborate with, did a beautiful job for both of us and was just an all around lovely guy. My mom and I had a great time and will always remember the experience, largely because of the beautiful, clean shop and above all, lovely Seth. Highly recommend.

Super quick and easy. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with no appointment. The piercer was really nice and helpful for my first time getting a piercing (other than my ears). It was $70 with the jewelry, saline spray and a cool sticker included.

Coop did an excellent tattoo of 2 cardinal flowers for me on my inner left ankle. Absolutely in love with his work. He deserves all the praise he can get, and when Im back in town, I know who Im going back to again for my next piece!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I booked a tattoo with @vieira.seth (IG handle) and had the best experience. They were the most lovely person to talk to, were very calm cool and collected and created the most beautiful piece of art on me. I was so nervous and im not great with pain but felt at ease instantly in their presence. I could not recommend enough. Also- shop is so great, clean and great energy :)

I got my septum pierced by Lily and they did an amazing job! They explained the whole procedure, made sure I was comfortable the whole time and it turned out FANTASTIC!!The shop was really clean and nice. Overall excellent experience! Would highly recommend!

Shame on high dive. i’ve had many piercings and tattoos done by high dive; my helix and nostril have never fully healed throughout the time i’ve had them (both pierced oct-nov 2023) and today i went to inksane, a very reputable shop in new paltz, where they told me both were pierced incorrectly and would never fully heal. i had to have both taken out and i am very upset at the amount of money i have put into getting and healing both of these piercings. i’ve heard of many others with similar experiences. do better.

Absolutely love this place! The shop has an incredible atmosphere, with amazing artwork and top-notch artists and piercers. Everyone is so kind and welcoming.

My wife and I spent the day in New Paltz, walking around and shopping, etc., and planned to hit up High Dive to see if we could each get tattooed as walk-ins. First impressions... a nice large space with a cool, laid back vibe, and, the important part, CLEAN. We met with Jesse and were told absolutely he could get us in, so we discussed our ideas, listened to his input, and all got on the same page. We had to come back an hour or so later because he did have someone already booked, but that was not an issue. When we came back, he got us right in and down to business. We were both done in just over two hours and beyond thrilled with the work. Will definitely be back!

Ive been looking for a local tattoo shop I can trust. I have definitely found it at High Dive Tattoo. I went in to get pricing and show them my ideas. They were very nice and immediately started helping me with some ideas. I got both my tattoos done by Jesse. I highly recommend this place. Im 💯 happy with my tattoos. Clean, organized, tons of books & art work to look at and their prices are great. Im looking forward to going back for my next tattoo.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I wound up in New Paltz and found this wonderful shop. They took me in as a walk in to get my sons name done. Jesse Allen got me and this was my absolute best tattoo experience so far! He was incredibly friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and it came out beautifully! He has made a customer for life. I will be back for the rest of the tattoos I want.

High Dive Tattoo & Piercing is a very professional and inviting shop! I got tattooed by Cooper. He worked with me on the design prior to my appointment, his station was very clean, and he was so comforting and fun to talk to during the whole process. Not to mention I love the location in the town of New Paltz, lots of restaurants and shops around to visit before or after your appointment. Definitely will be going back here again soon for more work!

Amazing experience at high dive. Cooper is an incredible artist. The ambiance was fun, clean. Ton of fun stuff to look at. The communication was great. Price was awesome. The work done was better than I could have imagined. I gave the artist a lot of freedom while he gave me a lot of patience and space to give my tedious direction. I highly recommend and dont think this will be my last!

I went for a hand tattoo about seven months ago didn’t know the person who did it was an apprentice he didn’t mention it to me. I was over charged paid $500 for it had multiple blow outs and still had to go to someone else to fix it properly. Hands down would never go there again and I hope nobody else does either five hours for a hand piece in two sessions is insane to say the least for it done in two hours just now and it looks better then it was done the first time for half the price. There’s the before and afters every time he worked my hand the ink came out nothing stayed.

I went to get a tattoo of an elephant to memorialize a loved one. Seth did an amazing job of capturing the sentiment I was going for. Great experience at High Dive Tattoo. My first impressions of the shop was how nice it was! The remodeled shop is beautiful and everything was very clean. I was immediately greeting at the door and helped right away. Cooper was my tattoo artist and he did a wonderful job memorializing my dog’s paw prints. He was kind and respectful and really took the time to get it right. It is very clear and apparent that he cares about each customer being satisfied and happy with the tattoo that they get. His customer service was honest and excellent and he is completely dedicated and passionate about his work. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

Ask for Victoria! She is so amazing! I came in needing help getting an earring in a hole that was almost closed. She helped me do that and gave me great pointers for making sure it doesn’t close up again. Put me at ease and is super sweet.

I have gotten two piercings here: my vertical labret and my philtrum. Lily pierced both of them and was so kind and respectful. They even walked me through both piercings which was so appreciated.

My daughter had a piercing done here and I give this place 5 stars they were extremely clean and thorough with her after care instructions. The pricing for the piercing was reasonable and the staff was friendly and made my daughter and I feel comfortable. I will definitely be coming back to High Dive and recommend them.

I got my conch pierced by Lily and had a great experience. Lily is just lovely - very friendly, communicative, and client-focused. My comfort with the process was a clear priority. Ill definitely be going back to Lily for more piercings in the future. :)

I went in because my nose piercing had started closing due to wrong gauge jewelry. The piercer took his time with me and made sure I was comfortable. He let me use my original piercing bar. He was awesome and talked to me the whole time. I will definitely be back for more piercings or tattoos. Definitely recommend this place. Staff is so friendly!!!

High Dive Tattoo is hands down my favorite place to get tattooed and pierced. Coop always does an amazing job with any piece I want and sometimes I’ll give him an idea and general placement and he’ll take over the whole piece and kills it every time! And Eli is my piercer. All of my piercings by him healed great and I haven’t had any problems! The way the shop is decorated is sick! They’re always playing great music and everyone is always super kind + professional. Can’t recommend them enough!

This place is an absolute gem. I came in for a walk-in, and everyone is super friendly. Theres TONS of flash all over the walls, plenty of books, and freaky stuff like shark fetuses in jars. Once I picked a design Cooper drew it very quickly and very well. He was super nice and didnt mind making a few tweaks to the drawing so it was exactly what I wanted. The tattoo process was quick and super sanitary, and Cooper makes great conversation :D This wasnt my first tattoo but it was my first from a male artist. I was very comfortable the whole time. My lil cowboy kewpie is absolutely perfect and I cant wait to make another tattoo appointment!! Check out their Instagram as well

The staff were extremely accommodating and professional. I got my 3 year old daughters ears pierced and the guy was so good with her and treated her so politely and grown. Moreover, my daughter left her stuffed animal there and some hours later the man dropped it off to us before we even realized it was missing. I am speechless that he went out of his way to do that which goes to show what kind of person he is with other aspects of his life. I highly recommend High Dive, and if he reads this, thank you so much. Night time would have been awful without your kindness.

I came in on Saturday for a difficult tattoo and the owner (Cooper) instead of rushing me for the money fit me in the next day so he had time to draw up exactly what I wanted. The tattoo came out perfect! Exactly what I wanted!

I will never return here. It felt like they had no idea what they were doing.I went to get the jewelry in an irritated piercing switched out. Throughout the whole process, they never told me what they were doing, before or after doing it. When something weird happened (I still don’t even know what happened) they whispered amongst themselves but would not answer me when I asked what was going on.Further, they ruined parts of the jewelry I came in with. They bent one piece and dropped the other on the floor and lost it, but didn’t tell me. They tried to hand me back what was left without saying anything, and only told me they lost a piece when I specifically asked where it was. They did not mention the bent piece at all.When I looked around on the floor to try to find the lost piece, I found multiple other bits of jewelry— so apparently this happens regularly.After I left the shop I felt totally whiplashed and like I had no idea what just happened to my ear. This shop did not feel clean or professional. Please go literally anywhere else.The only good part is that they didn’t make me pay for this absolute mess, or for the jewelry they put in after ruining the pieces I asked them to use.
