Office staff is friendly and efficient.Auxiliary medical personnel is professional and congenial.Heather is wonderful! She explained everything, answered all my questions and put me at ease. Office itself is beautiful. I had an excellent experience.

This is one of the best run doctors offices I have ever been in. It runs so efficiently. There was very little downtime from the time I arrived, got registered, and called in to see the Doctor. The staff is so friendly, and courteous. Doctor Burscher is so nice, and explained everything. She made sure I knew what to look for in the future, while she was checking me. She is very thorough and made me feel very comfortable during my evaluation and biopsy. I am new the area, and so glad I found this office. Id recommend this facility to everyone. I am so happy to find a dermatologist I can trust with my whole family.

I don’t feel like my exam was thorough. The doctor didn’t look at my stomach, my entire scalp, inside of my legs and thighs or between my fingers and toes or my underarms even. She didn’t look at my behind. None of the places I can’t check myself. I felt like the visit was a waste of my time. None of the services were discussed and none of the appointment discussions described on the website were done. It was a quick look and the doctor couldn’t leave fast enough.

A very efficient office. Check in staff are friendly and knowledgeably . Medical is the same as well as the check out staff.Dr. Knispel is always personable and caring. I will continue being his patient and recommend him.

Great experience. 1st time patient they took me in early and was in and out in no time. Heather who saw me had an excellent bedside manner and was thorough and professional. Highly recommend.

Carmela was friendly, thorough, and took the time to answer any questions I had. Facility is clean. Reception is aware of privacy and speaks accordingly. I was the only one in the waiting room yet from there to a room to actually seeing Carmela Luzi was a good 25-30 minutes. She’s so nice though and everyone at the office is nice and it’s clean, so I will return.

Very clean and attractive facility. Clear directions from scheduling staff for procedure prep. Reception and check out staff courteous and helpful. Felicity (RN) skilled, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Eickhorst excellent bedside manner, informative and personable, provided clear instructions.

Natasha is wonderful, very caring and thorough, she offered complete explanations for everything. The entire practice was very nice, the office is welcoming, and no waiting!

Even thoughy first appointment felt rushed, everyone in the office was very friendly. I appreciated the education. As a retired RN and nurse educator, I recommend providing topic paper handouts for aftercare and skin cancer info. See you next year !

Archita was so nice, informative, non-judgmental, and showed compassion to help resolve my concerns. She was also very informative about important preventative health. All staff were so pleasant and helpful at the Newtown office. A very wonderful experience!

The office is modern, beautiful and clean. Office staff could not have been nicer. The nurse was so friendly and helpful and put me right at ease. Dr Buscher is absolutely amazing. She explained everything she was doing and made everything make sense. She is very caring and knowledgeable. I trusted her immediately.

Friendly, professional staff, skilled dermatologist. Support staff kind and sensitive to my needs. I felt totally comfortable from beginning to end while dealing with Mohs surgery for my SCC issue. Thanks for the prompt response from the initial biopsy to the scheduling of surgery.. I feel I was in trusted hands.

Even though I was 5 minutes late to my appointment. No negative comments were made. I was taken in right away and had a pleasant quick experience. Dr was very knowledgeable, explained everything. I didn’t feel rushed. Nice experience.

I have had good experiences. At times the appointments can feel rushed as with any busy practice, but they are efficient and answer my questions. They even saw my 9 month old same day which is impressive.I have seen Dr. Buscher, Carmela and Natasha at this practice. They are very thorough and explain things well. They also take the time to listen not just spew medical terms out that mean nothing to the average person. I would highly recommend any of these ladies.

So happy with my experience. I needed a visit on short notice and they were able to fit me in. They were able to take care of my concerns and set my mind at ease. Everything worked out well. Very knowledgable, friendly and caring staff.

The entire team from the front office, assistants, nurses and Heather are thoughtful, thorough, and incredible. Heather takes the time to listen, educate and help you make the best informed decision for yourself. I am absolutely impressed and confident in their care.

I feel fortunate to have Dr. Knispel as my Physician. He is kind and caring. The staff is also very efficient.

My appt was for an annual assessment. Intake workflow was great….checked in as soon as I arrived, filled out minimal paperwork and was in examining room within minutes. Physician explained everything she was doing during the examination process, and made me feel comfortable. All personnel were professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

I found dermatology Associates to be callous and uncaring. You are literally treated like you are not a human. You can’t see a doctor that is in the next room. They take a picture of you and then show it to the doctor. You don’t actually see the doctor. This is nuts! And they won’t give you results of a biopsy while you’re in the office. They actually told me that they needed to call me to give me the results while I was sitting in a treatment room. I may never return again.

I saw Natasha for the first time and she is awesome! Very kind and sweet and takes her time with you. Shes very easy to talk to and most importantly, she is very thorough. A very nice experience with her.

Staff was courteous, however this practice could not address my issue. I clearly stated my issue with the initial phone call and I should have been turned away then. Appt should have never been made and insurance should not have been billed. Intake staff needs to do better, had to take half a day off of work, just to be referred elsewhere.

The Doctor I see is through, engaged, answers all my questions. Dr Jeffrey knispel is the best! Highly recommend

I was there for the first time this past Wednesday. I was taken in after just a short wait. Dr Luzi was great. Very efficient and very gentle. I’m 68 but still afraid of going to a Dr. I’m very happy I went there. 5 stars!!!

I saw Natasha Gorodetskyi for an annual full boost exam. She was very thorough and explained everything to me clearly. She listened to my concerns and made recommendations to address them. I also found her to be a very pleasant person. I will be visiting her again in the future.

Come in expecting to see a doctor , did not see a doctor was a 5 min visit for someone to tell me what they think the bump is ( which I already known) from previous doctor visit . Told me I had to make a separate appointment for a real doctor to look at it at that time he will make a separate appointment for him to remove it 1 at a time per visit and then refer me to a 3rd doctor to remove one that was alil bigger , I just want them to be removed not have me tossed around to different people to look at and not do anything about removing them charge me for multiple visits just for a conversation and no actual medical help

I love visiting this office. No wait. Jessica was very friendly and had a good bedside manner. Took care of my skin issues right away. I highly recommend her and this office.

Carmela is absolutely amazing. She’s listens and addresses all your concerns and explains absolutely everything. I have been a patient with the practice for over 30 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I recently had a cool peel, laser treatment at Dermatologist Associates of Western Connecticut. I really didn’t know what to expect so when I woke up the next morning and my face was red and swollen I became very nervous something was wrong and called the office. To my surprise, Emma the office coordinator called me back right away. She spent so much time talking to me, calming me down telling me what to expect and just being a reassuring voice that everything I was going through was completely normal. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant return phone call. On the following Monday Emma called just to make sure I did well over the weekend. Emma was so kind and made my experience with Dermatologist Associates a great one. I would highly recommend this office, Dr. Eickhorst who did an amazing Cool Peel and of course Emma.

I’ll first say that I can be particular.I’ll give 3 only because they essentially just let me prescribe myself things.I generally come here because they just give me what I want. I often feel as though I am diagnosing myself and just telling them what to give me and they do it. It kind of works.What I don’t care for is the eagerness to leave the consultation. I’m paying for them to listen to my concerns. They are very dismissive. I’d say worst is Dr. Knispel. I have proven them wrong more than once in my own diagnosis yet when I began to tell them what I believe I’m cut off and told “I doubt that”.

I was so worried about having skin cancer. The PA was very thorough and explain the process and was the were looking for throughout the examine. I am coming back yearly and already scheduled my examine. Office staff was very pleasant and professional

My appointment went perfectly; no waiting, couple signatures. Dr. and staff were professional and efficient, friendly, and supportive. It is a well organized practice.

My primary care doctor sent me here due to intense skin sensitivity and rashes that were interfering with my quality of life. She questioned why no doctor had taken time to take a culture of the irritated skin and said I absolutely had to have this done.Going to Dr. Knispel was a complete waste of my time. He did the most cursory exam imaginable, without any real inquiry in to history. He refused to do any testing. No diagnosis or solution, other than moisturize was offered in the brief time he spent with me. A cortisone shot, which he said didnt have side effects, was suggested to possibly stop the itching.After reading the Mayo Clinics warnings about side effects after cortisone shots Im glad I didnt take it.I asked if the itching might be related to some internal disease process, or allergies and he said it might be, but didnt take it any further.I told him about the terrible itching and irritation I experience from swimming in a chlorinated pool, and how important it is for me to be able to keep swimming. His only suggestion was to rinse off after swimming. Does he think I havent done this, including washing with soaps and shampoos that are supposed to remove chlorine? That was it. No other suggestion, or recommendations for effective products to try.Im sure he may be quite good for straightforward problems like acne or skin cancer, but I could not recommend him as a problem solver.

I absolutely love going to this office! everyone is so kind and understanding. i’ve been seeing carmela for a few years now, i cannot be more impressed with my skin. she is so kind and very thorough during each and every exam. she is the first doctor that i feel comfortable with!!

Pleased with reception staff & appearance of the office. Dr. was professional & explained everything clearly. My only dislike is that dr talked the whole time giving me little time to explain my concerns. When I was able they said its not covered by insurance & would be a cost to me. (I have had these procedures covered at previous practices with no insurance issues)

Dr. Eichorst is thorough and precise and has even caught a few potential skin cancer issues that were missed by other drs. Cant say enough good things about her and the practice. I also love the cosmetic treatments offered. She is amazing!

I was seen and treated by a PA. For many actinic keratosis patches on my legs, arms and face. I was treated with liquid nitrogen on almost 30 areas. I was told to treat each spot with efudex cream after the LN blisters healed 2x/day for 6 weeks. With follow up 3-4 months and sent on my way.There was no post op instructions given to me in writing, no written procedural diagnosis, no recommendations for after care. The blisters started itching before I left the parking lot and had to return for advice on how to treat the itching. The lack of a medical diagnosis print out really left me in the dark.If the PA discussed the fact that I would large blisters from the treatment which had to be kept out of the sun, I wouldnt have had it at the start of summer ! Winter would have been a better option .Long story short: I was rushed through my appointment, without a thorough discussion of how to proceed . I would not reccomend this practice.

My first visit worried about a growth, thank goodness it was nothing . The front desk was very personable, fella was very nice. The staff were friendly didnt meet a grouchy person. Waiting room comfortable and clean throughout the facility. Dr Kimberly Eickhorst was wondering, professional and put my worries to rest. I would highly recommend this office. I drove from New Milford.ct to New Town because they had a appointment at that office and I was very appreciative of the receptionist that took my call to check another office for availability. But the BEST THING was that she wipped out my diagnosis from Yale from over two years ago to show me that I am correct - I truly don’t have Eczema . I t is a form of Dermatitis . So I am correct in all my research 🔬. She has prescribed a new medication called Promiseb topical cream. I certainly hope that this will be my miracle drug because it is no longer just in my eyebrows but is in my hair (which is falling out), ALL OVER my face - totally, on both arms and both of my thighs. I am horrified ‼️So I REALLY HOPE that SHE IS RIGHT with this and I can see some relief 😮‍💨 because this is no way to live ‼️I found her to be knowledgeable, extremely well trained and to have excellent patient skills ❣️She is definitely a KEEPER ❣️❤️❣️❤️

Firstly I was able to get an appointment without having to wait weeks or months as was my experience with other dermatology practices. I was greeted by the friendly checkin receptionist, and called into my appointment in a timely manner. Heather was very pleasant, she efficiently addressed my issue and provided me with helpful information. This was my first visit to Dermatology Associates and it was a very positive experience from beginning to end. I scheduled another appointment not only for a follow up but to continue making my dermatologic health more of a priority.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Admin staff friendly and helpful. I was able to get in early. Nursing aid friendly, courteous and professional. Dr. was prompt, efficient. Diagnosis and treatment options were explained in detail. As always all went well.

I made an appointment with Dr. Eichorz to have an earlobe stitched up. While washing my hair in the shower I ripped my earlobe on the pierced ear. When i called for an appointment the person I spoke to (Ashley??) said she was new and didn’t know if insurance would cover the cost. I suggested she find out definitely bc I could not afford to pay and it was an accident.. she returned and assured me it would indeed be covered as it was an accident. When I arrived I was told it would NOT be covered,!! Rec’d a bill!!

Great experience. Front desk staff (check-in & check-out), greet you with a smile and are all very helpful, warm and friendly. Dr.Knispel, along with his assistant, are also very warm and friendly. Dr.Knispel listened to my concerns, was very knowledgeable of my condition and was able to treat it at that very appointment, eliminating the need to schedule and return on a separate visit.A huge bonus - there was no wait time!!!I was taken back to an exam room within 2-3 mins. of my arrival, followed by Dr. Knispel coming into my exam room also within just a few minutes.Due to having multiple health issues I’ve had to visit countless doctors in their offices over the years, and I can tell you that this is unheard of. A real rarity! I left the office a very happy patient and I would highly recommend them 😊

Just had my 3 rd visit. Staff has always been professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel comfortable. They discussed alternatives to operating on a cancer cell and ensured I understood the process. I would highly recommend this group.

Good patient care but seem overzealous on the billing side. They recommended hypafix tape after a procedure. They charged $39 for something Amazon has for $12. Greedy?

I have been a patient of Dermatology Associates of Western Connecticut for many years. I have visited almost all of their locations and seen many of their doctors. I have had overwhelmingly positive experiences. Their wait times are on the longer side once youre in the office but I think thats just because theyre so busy! Ive always been able to get an appointment in a reasonable timeframe, even with short notice. I am particularly impressed with the care and professionalism of the doctors, the nurses, and the administrative staff. The ambience in the offices is welcoming and bright. Im also happy to report theyre trans friendly! They changed my name in their system swiftly, no questions asked, and immediately started using it. The doctor also used they/them pronouns with me and I was so pleased to receive that kind of respect, rather than the misgendering Im so accustomed to in medical practice. Overall I really recommend this dermatology practice!

The entire office is so professional and helpful. Dr.Knispel is a brilliant diagnostician and always clarifies any questions or concerns during the visit in detail. He goes over the treatment plan and ensures the patient is comfortable following it. Highly recommend him!!

Amazing experience from the front desk to the examination room. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. Kate and Archita work great together keeping things light and comfortable. They created an above average experience with their jokes and witty demeanor. This is a place where anyone can feel comfortable going knowing you will truly be cared for. The girl at the front desk went above and beyond answering any questions I had from insurance to payment and did it with a smile which goes a long way nowadays.

I scheduled a follow up appointment for a cyst I had been dealing with for months. After a not so good experience last year at this medical practice, this time I saw Dr. Knispel. He was very welcoming and didn’t rush the visit. He listened to my reason for the visit as well as my concern and after examining me, Dr. Knispel reassured me there was improvement. He also gave suggestions should I want further treatment. His knowledge as a dermatologist is reassuring and his friendly demeanor always makes it a positive experience. I highly recommend Dr. Knispel for all your dermatologist needs. You will be in good hands with him and get an accurate diagnosis.

There was a medical emergency when I got there but the staff did a great job of diverting us to another door and set up chairs for our comfort. My appointment was good.

Newtown facility is beautiful, wait time was short, and people were all nice. Loved the fact that I was able to be seen and treated without having to go through an unnecessary consultation. That said, I would have appreciated just a few minutes with the surgeon prior to the procedures, explaining alternatives with pros and cons. Aftercare instruction was also very perfunctory: You might want to keep that covered for a week or so.

I brought my 95 year old mother here to have some lesions looked at and, if needed, removed. The entire staff was friendly, patient, and professional. Dr. Knispel and his assistant were positive and pleasant. They made a difficult situation, for my mother, easier and accommodated for her anxiety and discomfort.This was a very positive experience!

My visit with Dr. Knispel was very good, and he calmed my fears about a few spots that gave me concern. As a person who has had a couple of skin cancer episodes, this is always important. My only critique is that at 10 AM, I think I should have been seen closer to that time. I should not have to wait an extra 30 minutes at that early hour.

While I dread going to doctors, this was a verry comfortable experience.

Follow up to previous visit. I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes and I was in the examination room. Stitches from biopsy were remove an a prescription was called in to my pharmacy. I was out within 10 minutes. The medication prescribed is already showing good results in just 2 days. The staff & doctors are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their services

I was refused care, because I could not pay any of my prior bill. Having some financial difficulty right now, but stated I would pay it in full on Friday, which is payday for me. I was still refused care. I’m a senior citizen but that didn’t matter, all Dermatology Associates is concerned with is their bottom line rather than their patients. I have already lodged complaints with Medicare, UHC, and the town councils of New Milford, Brookfield and Newtown. I also will lodge a complaint with the state of Connecticut.

Dr. Eickhorst was super knowledgeable and kind. She and her staff made me feel comfortable. I was greeted with a friendly and professional atmosphere. I waited about 35 minutes past my appointment time to be seen and that is the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars.

Highly recommend any office that Dr. Knispel takes clients. (Ive seen him at Newtown and Ridgefield.) Hes addressed some medical issues and cosmetic improvements and always been quick and to the point but also very patient and observant of pain. Twice Ive needed to be seen same-day and his staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate and his nurses are always so thorough and caring. So glad I have a doctor I can truly trust.
