Tenome Tattoo

I went for my first tattoo here and saw Shawn who does all my friends tattoos, all of which are great. The ambiance is friendly and professional and I was completely at ease. He spent some time helping to develop what I wanted and its exactly what I had in mind. He is funny and talked me through the whole process. Absolutely I would recommend him.

My son recommended this place. He got a septum and eyebrow piercing here. He had a good experience. I brought my daughter to get her ears pierced here and the woman who did them (I forgot her name but she is the only piercer) was very good. She didnt baby talk with my 10 year old like so many people do. She was professional and did a fantastic job. The inside of this place is awesome too. There are lots of macabre art pieces, bones and handmade jewelry. Very unique ambiance for sure. Theres a snake and a tarantula in the front. I saw a woman who had just gotten a tattoo and was about to leave and the tattoo was gorgeous. Id definitely recommend.

My daughter n I went for piercings last Saturday! We were very impressed with Shannon! She did a great job! So friendly! Clean & very informative! I would recommend Tenome tattoo! She was awesome!

Highly recommend! Had a tough time finding a place that did the type of piercing i was looking for. I found them and made an appt for dimple piercings.Shannon was so helpful, explained the procedure, and went over the aftercare. Very satisfied!

The tattoo artist Billy was completely unprofessional and uncomfortable, I got a tattoo on my upper thigh and he couldnt refrain from making comments about my body. Not only does he make girls feel super uncomfortable Im pretty positive my tattoo is permanently messed up out of spite for me not wanting to entertain his aggressive flirting.

Shannon did a excellent job on my tattoos. She is very detail oriented and nailed it with her work! The shop has a very chill vibe and the decor is totally eclectic! I had 2 names added to exsisting work and a new piece.

Jesse is an amazing artist. Very creative and takes his work very seriously. I could not be happier with the tattoo rework as well as the new ones. The rose is a tattoo I had done in 1983. He made it pop again. The lotus flower is new. Highly recommend! Thanks Jesse.

I feel kinda bad leaving this review, but I’ve been encouraged by many to do so. I was an extremely loyal client to this shop and one artist in particular. I loved their work, over the year and a half I’d come here and probably 15 tattoos later, this specific artist ended our artist-client relationship. As you can imagine, with all the time spent discussing tattoos, appointments dates, and actually being at the shop, this artist and I developed an artist-client friendship. We would joke around and clown on each other when I was at the shop, I’d make fun of him for struggling with the printer, he’d make fun of me for being in any noticeable pain. It was banter. The last time I’d gone to the shop, I brought him one of my favorite protein bars because I like sharing them with friends and family. A couple months later he texted me to ask the name of the protein bar and we chatted for a couple minutes about food. End conversation. He had also reached out to me via his instagram when he was bored, we chatted very briefly how neither of us have a social life right now, and how my idea of socializing is going to get tattoos. We had a laugh about it. End conversation. A couple months later I realized his instagram was gone, as was the shops. I reached out to him via text to ask what happened, and he informed me that he blocked me (I’m assuming the shop page did as well) and that out of respect for his relationship and his work he believes it’s best I find a new artist. And said our relationship had no professional start or end.At this point, I’m rather upset. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on tattoos with him, I bartered my brand new iPad with him at a great cost so he can further his career as he was working with an ancient model, I’ve recommended him to many friends and family and had gotten him a couple more clients and a dozen followers via word-of-mouth. My sleeve is unfinished which I had plans to finish with him, at this shop. I was at no point unprofessional or crossing any lines within our two tattoo-unrelated conversations, and nothing inappropriate was ever said. and rather I find his actions in this as well as the shop’s part to block me on social media, extremely unprofessional when I was a very loyal client.I am now forced to find a new artist that will take over the work he’d begun, which is very hard to do, and I’m stuck with many many tattoos from someone that treated me with no regard in the end. I’m left with a sour taste in my mouth, and suggest any young, pretty women, stay far away from this shop to prevent the same thing from happening to you. I’m sad to have lost a connection with someone I considered a great artist and at times even a friend.

Got a tattoo on friday the 13th, it’s blown out and splotchy looking. so disappointed

The guy Shawn did my tattoo very well . Great and funny guy . Makes you feel at home and very professional with his art. I’ve recommended at least 4 people to this tattoo parlour.

What a dope place. We called a few hours beforehand. Billy took us in and was super helpful, kind, and patient. Everyone there is super chill. Shannon and I did not work together but blabbed about books for a bit… overall nice vibe!!

It was my first tattoo and Leah walked me through the entire process! She helped redefine my initial request and made a unique design I positively love! The store was imaginatively designed and had a lovely magical atmosphere! Seeing a live snake (Loki) and a live tarantula (Priscilla) definitely made the whole experience a wild ride I look forward to having again! All the staff there were creative and wonderful to talk to! I felt comforted and welcomed.

Just got a forearm book tattoo done by Shannon and it was a great experience! She took my inspiration and made it 100x better! Very detailed and experienced artist and also a super nice person!

Shannon is absolutely amazing! Ive had two of my five tattoos done by her and I will definitely be going back to her for more!

I got a tattoo done here and a few piercings. Shannon was really good and honest about the whole process. I felt I got a good quality service and shannon was there if there was an infection or anything wrong for help. i have been at a shop in the past where they would lie about the pain level but I’m really glad this place is honest about the whole process. I would recommend this shop for anyone in the area they are really professional.

I have come here twice to get tattooed and also got my first ever piercing here. Shannon is so kind and very professional, her work is always on point and amazing!! Love the atmosphere here too

I got my fathers memorial tattoo done by Shawn and it came out fantastic!!! His work is incredible and he is a great person to boot! Super friendly and kept conversation the whole time! Im definitely coming here for all future tattoos and strongly recommend to all my friends!!!!

Went here today to get 2 tattoos. Brian was amazing. He did the best job ever. I already set up another appointment to get more ink from him. Also alot of saw my work and wanna go see Billy. Wish I could post a pic but its not letting me

I got two tattoos there by Shawn! He did an amazing job and helped me out, my mom and I were cheesy and got matching tattoos, they are extremely detailed and he did them perfectly. He is a great conversationalist as well! The shop is very clean too.

They were so sweet and so precise. They would check in on you, make sure you were okay, guide and even compliment you. Would easily go back again. Plus, the decor was outstanding! 10/10 would recommend!

Was lucky to walk in a perfect time that a artist was available she listened to my idea of what I wanted she told me her thoughts and what will work best with my existing art work ..she made up stencil showed me. And did work great experience

Hoping I might be able to rewrite this review- if/ when a tattoo might actually be possible. I arrived at Tenome Tatoo last week after researching and asking friends. I had been waiting 2+ hours at a shop closer to me and put my name on the “ call list “. During my wait I called and texted with Tenome to check on openings for that day. I was put on hold and then told to send a text with a picture and location of the image I wanted tattooed. 20 minutes later I received confirmation that this would be “ no problem “ and I should arrive promptly at 3:30. I was approx. 45 mins away and drove (fast🙄🤷‍♀️) to get from Brockton to Attleboro on time! I arrived at 3:33- was barely greeted. 10 mins later when I tried to sign in- they mysteriously had “ no openings “ and no record of me calling/ texting.??!😡 I waited for next available artist for another 1hr45mins. By 5pm I decided to walk out- as I had not yet received even an update!! I had a 35 minute drive home and dogs waiting alone all day for what was a 25 minute tattoo. Before getting on the highway to leave, I called the shop to inquire about the wait time and was then told “ an artist just became available “. I pulled a u-turn and walked back into the shop. Again, they seemed not to be expecting me. It was the apprentice who was available- which would have been fine, except then he told me he didn’t feel confident doing the Tatoo in the location I wanted( back of neck/ behind ear)… SERIOUSLY 🤯. I must say I truly do appreciate his honesty and integrity, but nonetheless after hours of waiting and miscommunication, for what was supposed to be a sentimental piece— I left in tears of frustration and disappointment. On the bright side- I do hear amazing things about Shannon and flipped through her portfolio while I was waiting. I was impressed with her work and her attitude/ focus on individual clients. Perhaps one day I can get another piece by her

My brother and I went in last night to get our other ear pierced, Shannon was accommodating with people with learning disabilities and she explained to me the entire procedure and after care of the piercing before we even got the piercing done, we will be coming back to get a tattoo in the future

The environment and people are super friendly ! New shop my sister and I have been going to. Ria is amazing! Her work is so great and she takes her time as well! Would 1000% recommend others go here.

WORST TATTOO OF MY LIFE. Note that I have many tattoos, and many big pieces, and am aware of the difference between a good and bad tattoo. My best friend and I went to Tenome to each get memorial tattoos. She had just lost her dog of 16 years, and thankfully the artist who did hers was great and her tattoo came out beautifully. Mine however, did not.I went first and was done in under 10 minutes, and then he almost immediately left the shop. While my friend was having hers done, I was inspecting mine and found a lot of crooked and unfilled lines, so I spoke up to the artist who was working on hers. I stated that there were crooked lines, some portions were not filled in all the way, and that he went so fast that I could see the individual dots left by the needle. I was told that I’d have to wait a month to get it touched up. 1. The tattoo was less than 10 minutes old and 2. They knew full well I was not from the area as we’d been chatting. It should have been fixed at the shop, but they wouldn’t.After it healed, I saw the full extent of exactly how bad this tattoo was. Disconnected, crooked, and unfilled lines. This was just a simple name tattoo, and he seriously messed up up. Thankfully I had my local go-to artist fix it, but I shouldn’t have had to fix it in the first place.

I got my full back piece done here and it came out absolutely amazing, I have gotten so many compliments on my back! I would recommend this shop to anybody, the tattoo artist at this shop are very talented and very welcoming. They do amazing work for a good price!

Jesse, Nikki, and Shawn are the highly talented, hilarious individuals that made their home at Tenome Tattoo. As soon as you walk through the door you are treated as family. For the work they all do, their prices are MORE than reasonable. The work that not only I’ve gotten but have seen from coustomers leaving the shop is amazing. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen a coustomer leaving the shop without a smile ear to ear. Weather it’s a Cover up on a horrible tattoo (and I’ve seen some horrible tattoos that needed to be covered up) or someone’s first time, everyone leaves excited to show their ink off. Couldn’t speak more highly of a business 😊

It has been a few years since I got a tattoo. When I heard about Jesses work I decided to give him a try. I was not disappointed. Jesse gave me a fantastic Celtic Knot. Ill be back in for a new tattoo soon.

Ria did an absolute beautiful job on my very first tattoo. definitely recommend if you’re getting your first tattoo to come here, and request ria because she was super chill and nice and her artwork is amazing!!!

Great little tattoo parlor. Kevin is amazing and very VERY fast. But very good! He certainly didnt rush, but his speed was impressive. If youre looking for ink, this is your place.

Went to get a piercing, two employees sat around told me someone else would take care of me but he was busy. They took my number and said they would call me back. After several hours waiting I called back they told me the samething and did not call me back (not sure if its because I have this beautiful dark skin)

Amazing artists! Everyone is super nice. I was tattooed by Ria, and it was an amazing experience. Super talented with incredible skill. I will definitely be going back.

Great customer service excellent tattoo. Was my first tattoo so I was a little worried, but Im extremely happy with the tattoo and theoverall experience was just great.

Kevin did a session R.I.P. bro, very quick but extremely detailed he did this jan 12th, the whole side of my neck and it took him 2 hours. I will highly recommend this shop 👍
