First off, if I could give more than 5 stars, I most definitely would. Skynn is by far the best piercing studio I have ever been in. Their website is so amazing and makes setting up an appointment for exactly what you need so easy. The shop is one of the most welcoming places, the decor and layout are beautiful and the staff is so kind and attentive! They have such an amazing process for walking you through piercing aftercare and getting set up. They are so knowledgeable and help you find exactly what you are looking for and need. They put so much care into making sure you have the right jewelry and bar length and even set up a one month check in to make sure everything is alright!! And the amount of care that goes into your actual piercing is unmatched, it is fast, simple, and the best experience. I got 3 piercings today (double helix and conch) done by Rachael and it was the best service Ive ever received. I cannot ever imagine going to another shop after visiting skynn, they will forever have my business and recommendations.

Dee was absolutely amazing!! I came in with my friends and we all got our helix pierced and it was such a memorable experience! The moment we walked in I felt so comfortable and welcomed! Dee was so so nice and talked us through everything which was so appreciated because we were all pretty nervous going into it, but after we couldn’t stop talking about how awesome it was and we absolutely love our piercings!! They made sure we got the proper education for after care and answered any questions we had! This was such an amazing experience, and I am definitely coming back when I want to get more piercings!!

My best friend and I came here to get piercings done over the summer and we loved the shop. The piercer did a good job. Helpful, informative, and made me feel comfortable. The owner (I believe) wasnt my cup of tea. I didnt care for her very much. She seemed bothered, like she wanted to rush me out of the shop.

Went in for cartilage and traugus piercing. Was a very good experience and the people were very professional. My piercer talked me through the entire process and was very very sterile. Definitely recommend for first timers! Will be back for my check-up!

The owner, Rachael, is very friendly and professional. Her shop is welcoming and well maintained. Dee did a great job replacing mine and my boyfriends jewelry. She explained every step as she worked, and made us feel very comfortable. Dont make the mistake of going to a cheaper piercing studio, youll get what you pay for. At Skynn, youll never get an off center or unhygenic piercing. I highly recommendand support this amazing business, go check them out! And dont forget to check out local artist Angelas incredible paintings while youre there.

Im from out of state and randomly decided to get a belly button piercing. They were so nice, and their shop is great. We were in and out without 10 minutes!

Racheal has such a warm energy and you can tell she is extremely passionate about piercing. She helps curate everything from placement to beautiful jewelry. I have had my snug, upper conch and paired nostril piercings done by her and all are doing great. Super clean environment, they take infection control very seriously (even more than I’ve seen in some healthcare settings). I can’t recommend this shop enough.

Dee is a delight! Dee was super sweet & patient with me. I have had 4 facial piercings done by Dee: my vertical labret on my lip, philtrum & each nostril. I’m so so so happy with all of my piercings. Each piercing was quick, little to no blood, no issues. Just smooth, & only painful for a brief moment; as it should be. It’s clear that the people working here are knowledgeable & properly trained/certified. Also, the shop is adorable!Side note: I broke my nose a while ago so it is curved a bit, but Dee allowed me to slightly adjust where my second nose piercing would go. Placement, to me, felt tricky because of my nose being curved. But I think it looks great! :) thank you Dee!

My daughter and I got piercings together by Dee for our birthdays. I got my septum, she got her 2nd ear lobe piercings done. Dee was amazing!! She answered all of our questions, gave great recommendations, was patient, professional, friendly and it was just an overall fun experience! While the piercing wasn’t near as painful as I expected, once I stood up I felt like I do after blood draws- like I was going to pass out 🤦🏼‍♀️ Dee was ready with a lollipop and some water right away. She was very thorough with the process and explaining aftercare procedures and setting up post piercing check ups. The facility itself is very clean and welcoming too. I recommend Dee and Skynn to everyone lookin to get poked!

Rachel is amazing! I went in for a nose piercing. She was great explaining what to expect and how to care for it. I was nervous for the pain, but she had it done in seconds while talking me through breathing to relax. Shop was very clean and had great jewelry options!

Over 2 years ago, I got my septum pierced at a different shop. I underestimated how difficult it can be to switch out septum rings by myself. I finally decided I needed a change of jewelry after having the same ring in for almost a year. I found Skynn Studio/Rachael through a Facebook group I am apart of. Unsurprisingly, Rachael confirmed for me that my septum was indeed pierced incorrectly all those years ago. It was pierced too low -not in the sweet spot. (Deep down I always had that feeling). Since my septum is luckily healed properly, and I don’t experience any issues with my piercing, she agreed to change my jewelry for me. Rachael is very knowledgeable and trustworthy in her profession. The studio is extremely clean and she has a beautiful selection of jewelry. When I am ready to re-pierce my septum so it’s in the correct spot, I will 100% be going back to Rachael.

I came here because Id been tattooed by Alyssa at a different location and her work never suffices. She did my first professional tattoo as well as 2 cover ups and fixed a mistake from a tattoo I got elsewhere. I trust nobody else with my body. I then needed some new jewelry for piercings I had and Rachael was the best help, she also removed my dermal in my chest. I love this place. Even though Ive moved to Michigan now, I will make the 4 hour drive if I ever need anything. Highly highly recommend for anyone who wants quality work.

This was my first time here. I saw a video on Facebook promoting this shop and I knew I had to come here for my next piercing. I came in to get my septum pierced and was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the selection of jewelry to choose from. I did not expect to have a hard time to choose which jewelry piece I wanted for my septum but Rachel helped me decide! She also did a great job explaining everything that was needed to know about the piercing itself and aftercare. You can tell she is very knowledgeable and credible. She also does curation and gave me suggestions for my ear! I will definitely be going back to get more piercings from Rachel!! I definitely recommend you go see her!! My 17 year old daughter has had all three of her nose piercings and her belly button pierced by Rachael. Shes extremely professional, knowledgeable and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns my daughter has. Omg. I had my tragus pierced by a tattoo/piercer and he used a hoop. I walked in, and they helped me right away. They explained what was wrong with it, and changed the piercing for me. I will definitely go back. I was so nervous because it was swollen and it hurt bad. They were gentle and told me exactly what they were doing. So good to have women doing it for me. I was way more relaxed.

Rachael is so sweet! I specifically went to her after seeing her at the shop she was at previously. I had a bad experience at the shop she was at before (no fault of her own, just a toxic environment) and it was great to see her in her own place.She squeezed me in despite me being a couple minutes late due to traffic and was very accommodating. She also asked me to check back with her in a few weeks. Ive never had a piercer do that before and its nice to know Im able to do that as other places often make you feel like an inconvenience.The shop atmosphere is very calming and welcoming, Ill definitely be back! I’ve had my nose pierced for 10 years, and I’ve always had keloids even though I get it changed professionally every time. I came here to get a hoop for the first time, and Rachael mentioned it was probably a reaction to the jewelry. I never thought anything of the jewelry since I always get it swapped out at a shop and go with what they recommend. A few months later, I’m keloid-free. Thank you so much for your knowledge and expertise, and carrying quality product!

These ladies were great. I got a microdermal piercing removed from myhip thays been there for over adecade. Im 8 months pregnant so I needed to have it removed. I highly recommend them. Very nice, fair prices, and professional. I will becoming back and telling others about them

TLDR: I am beyond happy with all the piercings Rachel has done! Her shop is spotless, and gorgeous. I will be back soon for a 3rd nostril piercing and to get my daughters ears pierced for the 3rd time!Back in October(ish) I got my nostril pierced and my daughter’s 2nd set of earrings, with Rachel at another shop and had a great experience. Naturally, I was ecstatic when I got a text saying she was opening her own place. I called recently and no one answered, but Rachel returned my call within a few minutes and I was able to get an appointment within a day or two. (She’s legit running the show solo it looked like, so if she’s with a client she can’t answer.)The decor at Skynn is amazing. Sleek, modern, bright, and SPOTLESS; while still feeling warm and welcoming. Not to mention Rachel is incredible herself!She helped me pick out a gold hoop to replace my initial piercing, and I had her piece the other side as well. (I was able to use the small stone from my original piercing and just pay for a brand new sterile post which saved me a little money on the new piercing.) Great selection of jewelry, and reasonably priced all around.Everything was sterilized and opened in front of me, and nothing felt rushed. Rachel took her time getting the placement right and after I approved it, she went over aftercare, then explained what she was doing during each step of the process. Hurt like hell, but turned out perfect. Can’t wait to go back, and can’t recommend Rachel highly enough!

I got my septum pierced here and had such a great experience! I was a little nervous about getting a septum piercing because some piercers will pierce it in the wrong place but my piercer checked my anatomy and made sure to pierce it in the right place. Definitely recommend!

Racheal is a good piercer, but unreliable when it comes to ordering jewelry. We discussed an order in July 2021 and I was told it would take 3-5 months to receive the piece. I reached out multiple times and every time it was stilll not in. Now, almost a year later, still no word on the piece. I understand that she cannot control the companys shipping time, but client communication would have been appreciated. Ended up going elsewhere for the piece and wont be returning.

Was feeling very impulsive and went to go get a nose piercing. I found Skynn nearby and even though there were only 5 reviews I decided to give it a shot, and IM SO GLAD I DID. This was my first piercing other than my ears and Racheal did an amazing job. She provided lots of education on what I should and should not do as well as walked me through breathing techniques during the piercing. The studio was super cute and very comforting. LGBTG+ friendly, with a questionnaire asking for your pronouns, which I thought added to the comfortability and professionalism. I will be coming back for my piercing needs!
