One of the nicest tattoo shop Ive been to. Its clean, organized, and has cool decorations. As for the tattoo, I got a Polynesian tattoo with Devin and he did a great job. It was good experience and I hope to get more tattoos done here in the future.

I want to start by saying that Devin is the best!! Even though this was my first tattoo and took 8 hours, Devin made me feel comfortable the entire time. He didnt shy away from the challenge and even educated me on the aftercare process and what to expect in the following days.Im looking forward to returning to finish the rest of the sleeve. My younger sister and I arrived with an hour of notice and despite the short amount of time we were accommodated quickly and set up with Devin. He did a fantastic job on both our tattoos and was incredibly precise and professional. First things first, the shop itself-Outside was clean, welcoming, inviting- all around an easy going feeling walking up to the door (which is more important than you think)Inside was immaculate, music was dope, reception was helpful and welcoming as soon as you enter the door. Decor is on point but what stuck out to me was the cleanliness. It was so clean and smelt so good EVERYWHERE.To make it even better everyone that works there has such a good vibe and attitude, it completely eliminated the typical “stuffy” vibe I have gotten from other shops I’ve been too. I was offered coffee, water, soda as I waited for my appointment (which wasn’t long). You just have to go there to see what i mean but the vibe was vibin’.I went with Devin as my artist and he exceeded all my expectations. From initial IG message to consult to tattoo day to aftercare, communication was on point, he was super helpful, and extremely accommodating.My tattoo itself, I am in awe at how dope it came out. Have no idea how he turned a purple blob stencil into the actual MASTERPIECE that i get to have on me forever, but I will continue to book appointments with him.The detail, the talent, more beverage and food offerings, his own excitement for the piece- it all came together and i can’t wait to come back for many more sessions.Thank you Devin and Orpheus Tattoo, can’t wait to come back!!

I have been looking for a tattoo artist in the area for years and heard the best things about this place. Devin was recommended by a few people and my experience was better than I could have imagined. Sanel is an amazing artist. He was able to cover up my panther tattoo that a lot of artists wouldnt touch. I wanted a pheonix over it and he came up with a great design. It covered up the panther nicely and is an amazing piece. I drove an hour to get to his shop and it was worth it.

When I tell you that this tattoo shop is actually heaven on earth i am not exaggerating. I went to Orpheus for my first tattoo and called in advance to get a consultation. They were so responsive and helpful I was able to get in the same day for a consultation. I met Kanon who was so supportive throughout the whole process. She was reassuring, communicative, and so creative. When I went for my appointment, Kanon was so welcoming and do meticulous in her work. We had a great time and she was so focused on making sure that this tattoo was incredible. This may have been my first tattoo, but I will never go to another place other than Orpheus.

I’ve been to Orpheus twice now and have gotten a tattoo from Sanel and another one from Kanon. Both times the process was easy and the artists were able to give me exactly what I wanted. The shop is professional, clean, and chill. Everyone I’ve interacted with there has been great, easy to talk to & friendly. I can easily see myself going back a third time. :)

I had a great experience working with Sanel. I wanted a half sleeve cover up. A handful of artists said I would need laser treatment first. Not Sanel. His work is exceptional. He is masterful creating a piece of art that will leave people in awe. Everyone in the shop seemed cool and down to earth. The shop was clean and I was offered a snack/drink which is a nice gesture. Amazing atmosphere and shop . I recently got an arm tattoo by Devin he is a phenomenal artist his creative mind and his hand work is unlike no other . I had a two session appointment and Devin made it go by fast from conversations and him being focused on his craft . I drove 2 hours and it more than worth it ! If you want more than quality work this is the shop to go to !

I chose Michael Cortez for his line work and he didn’t disappoint. Everyone at the studio was kind and comforting. I sat for 7 hours without issue. I left with beautiful body art. I couldn’t be happier.

Probably the most cozy and very welcoming tattoo shop I’ve been to. I had the best experience getting a tattoo reworked and covered up with Byron and he generously gave me his time and talent by even squeezing me in on the same day. Speaking to Sanel as well as the front desk for appointments was easy as they were very personable and friendly, and he recommended me to the right artist who could execute what I wanted perfectly. I’ve also been tattooed by Kanon and even as a new apprentice, I got one of my favorite tattoos done by her. I get many compliments on the tattoo she gave me. Sanel is really an amazing artist. All i gave him was a few ideas of what I wanted and he was able to show me the finished product on his ipad. His main priority is his clients being satisfied and he goes above and beyond to make the perfect art for you, if you dont like it he will redo it until you approve of it. Really enjoyed getting my first and only whole arm sleeve with Sanel, I highly recommned him. I traveled an hour and change to get work from him and so do a couple of coworkers that fell in love with the work That Sanel performed on me. Thank you Sanel!

This isnt my first time going to Orpheus Tattoo Studio. The studio is chock full of incredible artists, each with their own artistic flair. You cant go wrong with sitting in any of their chairs. The atmosphere is very very laid back, comfortable and CLEAN. (also a quick shout-out to the young lady at the front desk, shes an absolute delight to speak with!) So last night I got my first session done with Devin. I needed to have my American flag completely revamped (got it done while I was at Fort Gordon during my AIT, which was a very poor choice since that Georgian sun bleached my tattoo to near ghost like fading) so during my consultation I met with Devin, whos work I really really liked. His style and his technique was right up my alley with the style I wanted for my tattoo. First and foremost, the dude really takes his art to a passionate level. He helped me design my piece from the ground up, was totally patient and gave me solid ideas on how to enhance the idea into a rad piece of art, and also took any alterations I suggested in stride. Hes very personable, makes you feel very comfortable and is very easy to talk to. We sat for 7 plus hours (that was on me and youll soon read why) and not once did he ever come off as impatient, or tried rushing anything. His focus was incredible from start to finish. At around 7 hours I started to really feel the pain and he was kind enough to alleviate the pain with a few coats of numbing solution, which also stretched the time and he did so without any hesitation. Hes a very talented artist who will give you honest feedback and I could tell he puts the canvas (the customer) first. He will not allow you to walk away unless youre completely happy with your new art and he really loves the craft which tells me he will not allow anyone to walk away with a bad tattoo. Hes officially my go to artist and dont let his age fool you, the guy is an absolute artist, his technique is amazing and he will make you feel at home in that seat. Beyond that, he was incredibly on point with cleanliness and hygiene, always using fresh gloves, needles and constantly ensuring his work space was organized and clear of clutter. All I can say is THANK YOU DEVIN. Cant wait for the second session in a couple of weeks, and will update this review to reflect on what I already know will be another amazing session! Orpheus Tattoo Studio is surely the best tattoo studio Ive ever been to, and is my go to shop for the years to come.

I had such a great experience getting my tattoo yesterday. I had Devin work on my piece and I can not recommend an artist more in the Central Jersey area. My experience began way before I sat for my session because Devin had been helping sending me designs all week leading up to my session. At the session, I felt incredibly comfortable with how clean the studio was and how much they cared for my comfort during my 5 hour tattoo. Devin is incredibly personable and a professional in the way he conducts his tattoos. To speak on the tattoo itself, I was not imaging the amount of detail and accuracy the tattoo came out to have. I had elements of personal handwriting in my piece and the way it was executed is an identical match to the original. The shading and attention to detail is next level. I cannot recommend Devin enough for your next tattoo and definitely look forward to working with him again in the future.

Devin is an awesome artist and always makes the sessions fly by. The studio is pristine, the chairs are comfortable, and they’re always offering to grab a soda or a water for you, making it a very welcoming atmosphere.

Best tattoo shop I’ve been too and I’ve been to like 6-7….Devin tattooed me and surprisingly we had an amazing conversation for the whole 4 hours I was there. This was by far my biggest and most detailed tattoo and it was the most painless. Dude is super solid and I’ll only be using him for now…also the place is super nice and clean and they offered me free drinks. It was just a really good experience and I’m glad I found these guys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Im in my 40s and have wanted to get a tattoo for a long time now but until recently, my idea never really fully developed in my mind. I looked online for an artist to make the vision for my first tattoo come to life and Sanel had done some amazing work and the studio had glowing reviews. So I pulled the trigger and made my consult appointment.Were still in the process of bringing that full sleeve vision to life but it already looks fantastic. Honestly, if you want a review of his skill vs other artists, since this is my first, I cant give you that but I am really good at getting a feel for people and Sanel is such a good guy. He genuinely wants to help you express yourself in a collaboration of minds. Im sure Ill post some pics when its all said and done but for now, Ill just say that Im really glad I trusted someone like Sanel to give me my first ink. Great experience.

I was a walk-in for a tattoo last week. The shop is extremely clean and very friendly. Devin was able to take the idea I had drawn out myself and fix it up into exactly what I wanted. The tattoo came out amazing and I have already gotten so many compliments! Hes always super kind and his work is fantastic. I cant recommend him enough for tattoos! and while I was there I got my daith pierced by a guy who was also very kind and the piercing was painless! I worked with Devin and he was so amazing. He constantly checked if I was okay, needed water or a snack. He also made sure i had enough breaks in between, since the knee is pretty painful to tattoo. We had some pretty good laughs powering through this. Even the receptionist asked if i needed anything. 10/10 service Definitely coming back here for more tattoos!

I stumbled upon this shop online. I was impressed with art from all the artists on their website so I booked. Marcel did an amazing tribute chest piece for me and Devin did an awesome water color Darth Vader!!! Im going back next week for another appointment with Marcel. Go see these guys!!!

I worked with Devin for a tribal tattoo half sleeve. It was supposed to be two sessions but Devin and I both agreed we could power through it. Throughout the next 10 to 11 hours, Devin was constantly making sure I was good. The design came out great, and Devin was a real trooper getting through it. Great atmosphere, great people, I was very comfortable getting a tattoo. Definitely coming back, highly recommend.

Had my eyes on Marcels work for a couple years now and finally got my first tattoo from him. His talent on the smallest details is fantastic, along with the conversation he held. Will definitely continue using him in the near future.

I sent an email to this studio, and got a response back very fast. Thats almost unheard of for a tattoo studio. The receptionist was able to book me in with Sanel for a consultation for the earliest date available. She was super nice. Sanel is a super friendly guy, and he worked with me to make sure my design was to my liking. He was very patient with me, and even suggested ideas for ways he can make the design better, and I agreed with his suggestions. My mom also wanted to get a small walk-in tattoo while I was getting tattooed, and Gerard was available to help her. He was super patient with us, and accommodated her design. They provided very detailed aftercare instructions. I came in a couple days later, as I wanted to consult with Sanel on my progress (I have sensitive skin and wanted to make sure I was not having a reaction). He gave me great advice, and made sure I left the studio with all the information I needed. I will be coming back here for future tattoos.

My sister and I went to get a Tragus and Conch piercing, and Tim was awesome! He was super friendly and engaging and extremely professional. I got two tattoos and switched out my piercings here. One of them was an entire back piece which I was able to customize with Devin, both tattoos were amazing and I can’t wait to get more. The piercer was also very professional and switched my jewelry with no problems. Love this place!

Came in yesterday and the shop is so nice and clean. Staff is very friendly! I had a consultation with Devin about two tattoos I wanted to get. Came back in today and had one of them done and I am in loveeee! It came out exactly how I wanted and Devin was very nice and personable and fun to talk to! He’s a great tattoo artist. Me and my sister walked in to get matching tattoos and everything was fantastic, from the reception to the music selection. Everyone was very friendly. The artist Senal had a very delicate touch, was super understanding and efficient and he did an incredible job, both me and my sister are very happy with the final product!

Too much to write. It appears my negative review was removed. It has been exactly one year since Marcel destroyed my wrist tattoo. Extremely overworked, overcharged. Simple tattoo he ruined the outline went out of lines, blotchiness, made color worse instead of correcting it. Wrist swollen in pain for days, healing forever with thick scabs. Other two tattoos were overworked and one needs to be touched up since it was done. A simple script J lol Disputed and decided in my favor I received money back. The other artists appear to be phenomenal and Sanels work is amazing. The shop is clean with a comfortable setting. I previously posted pictures and they were all removed.

Abraham did an amazing tattoo on me. He was able to tattoo one of my paintings, plus a fox. He always gave me good advice whether it be on placement or future tattoos. I love the tattoo so much.

Sanel is an unbelievable tattoo artist. He takes his time and really listens to what you want. Hes been in this business for a while and it really shows with his tattoo knowledge. As soon as we walked out from the shop after talking to Sanel my son and I agreed that we wanted to book him for his first tattoo. That was the best decision we made. My son was very happy with his tattoo. Once his tattoo was done I decided that I wanted to make an appointment with Sanel for a coverup tattoo of an old tattoo I got done over 15 years ago. Needless to say the coverup tattoo came out amazing! It was a half sleeve and there were no signs of the old tattoo. I couldn’t be happier with it. From that point I’ve been back to Sanel numerous times. I’ve gotten 5 tattoos done with Sanel since I’ve met him. Sanel is the man and I highly recommend him to anybody who’s looking for great colors and realistic looking tattoos. If you want a real artist who cares about his work Sanel is that guy!

I had my nose piercing done with Tim, he was really nice and accommodating making sure to let me know of every step of the way to keep me calm. He also did a rook and an upper lobe piercing on my friends the same day. Highly recommend him!!

Sanel could not have made this experience any more simple and pleasant. I came to him with a tattoo idea (just ingredients to a piece... nothing more). He came up with a brilliant and beautiful design. He was very receptive to input, which made me feel very comfortable. His rate is very fair for his work, works very fast, and has a very likeable personality. Although hes done only 11 hours of work on me (which brings the total up to 55 hours or so), I will 100% be using him again in the near future. I can not say enough good things about Sanel and his work.

Had 3 old dark tattoos that I wanted covered up with something new. Was told by numerous tattoo establishments that it was impossible. Went to Marcel and showed him what I wanted covered up and my ideas. Marcel was able to design a half sleeve that not only covered my old ink but it was made into my idea. Artwork still looks great like it was just done.Went back a few months later after the first piece for another cover up on my back and of course he was able to cover my old ink flawlessly.Will be returning for more ink soon.
