My friend and I came in today for a walk-in and both of our tattoos turned out amazing! Puppet was very nice and made my first tattoo experience awesome. The prices were fair and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I’m from out of town but was visiting my sister and we had been wanting to get tattoos with our maiden name in our Dads handwriting. I looked to google and this shop had amazing reviews. Decided to take a chance and I’m so glad we did. From the start Tony was amazing, very friendly. I always like to design my tattoos and he was fine with that but also offered suggestions which was great. The hardest part was deciding on a location since I have several already and he suggested the back calf which we realized the design had been perfect for. His work is excellent, process is clean and safe, and price was spot on. I can’t wait to come back and add another piece and maybe have him cover up a few.

Puppet did a sick job on my second tattoo. Came late on a weeknight with an idea in mind. Was treated like family. Very reasonable prices. Extremely high quality work. Very clean and professional. I got a My Chemical Romance tattoo which is obviously not something in Puppets specialty area, and he did it like hes done a million of them. Very easy to work with, and no pressure. Will definitely be back here and bring my friends.

Google won’t allow me to give 10 stars. Antonio hooked me up! With over 20 years of experience, the man really has skills. I walked in and had a basic idea to fill in a space on my shoulder. Antonio drew up a stencil (free hand) and got to work. The tattoo is 🔥. I definitely recommend!

Puppet is really good at his craft. He has tattooed my daughter and my son. So far three tats and they’re all amazing. I recommend him to all my family and friends.

This review is long overdue. Got my first tattoo ever 10/22/22 at an age of 50+ years, unfortunately a tribute to my oldest son who passed away.I was very nervous to say the least. Tony was cool and calm, explained everything, his shop is small and cozy and clean. The same idea that I had sketched out for a tat was already sitting at his station like it was waiting for me. My sons name is also Anthony. And the shops address contains significant numbers for my family. I knew I was in the right place! Things went well and my tattoo came out beautifully. So glad I found City of Angels!

My man was cool. He only had to do a small tattoo but he treated it the same as a large one. New needle. Santized. Then he babd drew the picture and tatted it up. Im fully sleeved, chest and back and leg skeeved and ill be back

Believe it or not, I stumbled upon Puppet and COA by chance.That day I had spontaneously gone to get tatted at a different place near me. (One which I had been to before). However, it was one late Sunday afternoon, and *thankfully* (as it turns out) that place was fully booked.I was determined not to starve my impulsivity though and once back in my truck, I hit up Google. *City Of Angels* COA - the only place still open, so off I went. I actually think I got pretty lucky with walking in just when I did. It was simply meant to be.Puppet is a true artist. Sitting there getting poked by him, I felt like I had come home.As a matter of fact, just a few days later he made time for my daughter to get her very first tattoo, before heading off to college.I cant even envisage going anywhere else, for my/any future tattoos!- Ill keep comin till I get kicked out, lol.*Update.Wicked clean line-work, too!Check out that green Monkey in-the-making 🐒 that I went back for. 💚

The best tattoo I have absolutely ever gotten. First the amount of detail there was, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING so precise, so clean, it’s absolutely beautiful. Next let me tell you how I almost fell asleep while getting it done, zero pain at some moments I barely even felt the needle and if it wasn’t for hearing it I wouldn’t have thought it was on. Then done so fast which was shocking when you see all the details. The artist himself very welcoming great customer service took me in without having a prior appointment. I have found my go to spot I’ll be getting all my tattoos done here!

My experience was AMAZING!!! Puppet is so nice and creative minded when he draws. Not to mention HE FREEHANDS! Thats really impressive even for a tattoo artist drawing on the spot. Hies establishment is extremely clean, and he uses fresh, new needles per customer. He keeps your skin moisturized the entire process as well. This was my first tat I drew myself and he refined it, translating my EXACT feelings for my original drawing which made me immensely happy. It took about 4.5hrs to do this, but it was very detailed and symmetrical which I can appreciate knowing my ocd. His line work is very clean and consistent as well as all the grayscale translation colour wise. He has amazing work and Ive already recommended him many times over. Scam!!!! They scammed me of 100 dollars and tried to scam me for me the owner kept asking for a deposit down for a consultation which is very weird. Second of all he kept saying he wasn’t getting my payments and it said they were processed. He is fake and I can’t believe I fell for it. They don’t answer the phone they send you a text message saying how can I help you an hour later after you call up. Please don’t fall for it this place is a total scam and stole my money!!!

Third tattoo I get done by Puppet. He has design all of them to my liking. Great human being. Very professional in his work.

I called the telephone number provided, it went straight to voicemail. I then received a text message stating, how can I help you with, I provided whoever was on the other end of the phone a detailed description of what I wanted what I would like to do and a picture of the tattoo I was trying to get. At first, the individual text me back very nice very politely saying sure we can do that, and then proceeded to tell me that he will call me in a few minutes to arrange all the details, I texted him back thank you so very much, and I patiently awaited for this persons phone call. By the next day I still have not heard from this person whether it be a receptionist artist or the tattooist himself, so I gave up. Either they thought the work was beneath them, they didnt need the money, they were booked up but they didnt want to tell me, stinks of Bad Business practice you shouldnt just string somebody along all day till the next day and never answer them how much what time any of their questions if you say youre going to get back to them you should get back to them if you dont want to do the work you should just say you dont want to do the work if you dont want the money just say I dont need the money but dont string somebody along!

Puppet is a really great guy with some amazing skills. I came to him with a pretty realistic piece with lots of shading and small details and I can say he didnt miss a single one without a doubt. I love my tattoo and I will definitely be coming back.

Omg! This was my first tattoo and I was so nervous but Puppet made it such a great experience. He was very gentle and he really takes his time perfecting his art. He’s very talented even free handed this tattoo for both my best friend and I. We called a little late without appointments and he immediately took us in. Puppet has done both my mom and dads tattoos so it was inevitable that I go to him too. He took my tattoo virginity and when I tell you I was not disappointed🥰. He was professional, clean, and precise making sure I was aware of what’s going on. He was able to tweak the few things I wanted to change and with no problem. He has a way to make you feel like you at home and I was more comfortable than I ever thought I would be getting a tattoo. I’m soo impressed by his work I’ll only let him do my tattoos; and I live in Atlanta. That should tell you something about how great he is!!
