This is such a gem of a shop! It is one of the cleanest body art galleries I’ve ever seen. Really great people. I stumbled upon it out of pure luck as I was driving from Texas to Virginia. One of my existing piercings needed a little TLC so I just walked in with no appointment and luckily Kyle was there and able to take care everything I needed. He was so fast and helpful and pleasant. I couldn’t recommend it more. Definitely check it out if you’re in little rock!✌️☮️🌺

We got our 10 year old kiddo’s ears double pierced. Both of the piercers were amazingly kind, patient and thorough with all of the follow up instructions. The shop is exceptionally clean and the piercings came out beautifully. I highly recommend coming here for your first time piercings. The vibes of the artists are also incredibly grounding. These are some of the most genuine and thoughtful people I’ve even seen work in a tattoo store. They take so much pride in their work and it shows in their customer service, piercing skills, and tattoos. I recommend them to everyone who have asked where I’ve gotten pierced. This shop has amazing artists, is super clean, super friendly, and super knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure their work will last and heal well. There is also a good variety of style available here in the shop. Yes, Matt and Katie are amazing, but check out the Instagram pages for the other artists here also. They have a lot to offer!And if you want to get pierced, Kyle is the most professional guy! He is super patient with all the questions I had after my piercings, and hes been great at checking to make sure everything is healing as it should whenever I get uneasy.

Minus the glaring contradiction here, which is, if ALL of this was discussed at length and agreed upon, why is it that Im beyond shocked and so upset at the final result? An obvious ploy to dismiss any and all accountability that rests on his shoulders. Its because no, there was no clear communication, rendering, outline, drawn-on template or anything else that would have eluded me to this direction. Hence my shock. The response honestly speaks for itself and shows just how audaciously arrogant this guy turned out to be. He included personal discussion about my life for all to see, while I know its not confidential information but is a perfect example of how this guy conducts business. Which is to say, after facing criticism he decided to show his true colors and take the low road and skew the entire session in his favor. Stunned to see just what kind of sleezeball tactics hes reduced himself to disregard any responsibility. To pass on the blame to me so heavily as to bring up a very brief moment in the 8 hour discussion and use it against me is beyond low and easily the worst character revelation of all. Clearly a runaway ego. Have you never had critique or had an upset customer in all your time as the tattoo perfectionist you claim to be? I doubt it. Seems like TV fame got the best of him. I can see why he plays it safe and only does dog portraits now. Which consists of most of his portfolio. Very little original pieces, or pieces that push the boundaries of really good tattoo art. Easy work that never rocks the boat. I figured for the prices he charging I would have gotten impeccable work. Totals were $200 deposit, $1400 1st session, and $400 for last. And I tipped almost $400, regretfully. Instead I got mediocre art by the dog portrait guy. And btw, I never chose him to be my artist. It was a recommend from the office guy at the front desk. Im really not trying to come off as Opie the town moron here. But in truth its as simple as communication breakdown. Thats all it boils down to. At the end of the day Im stuck with it. And Im clearly not happy at the results. As a business owner with any sort of customer service acumen would attempt to make it right. Never mind the fact that you still havent owned up to YOUR art on MY arm. You couldnt even stick to art basics like theme or placement. Death was the theme and the tree was supposed to be the star. Instead the tree is drowned out by a bowl of Fruity Pebbles. The farthest thing from a death themed tattoo I could think of. His customer service response was to stoop as low as he could to lie and fumble his way through several excuses and then include personal info from our conversation. He took zero responsibility and lied so blazenly its comically evident. Own it Matt. But he chose the scumbag route. Im gonna stop this childish back and forth now becuase its evidently not going to get anywhere, but what I am going to do is gladly leave this here for everyone to see your true nature and how you handle business as the owner. Expect mid work from a childish, egotistical artist.*Original post*:Over priced and over hyped. Went for my first tattoo. Ive had one in mind for over 25 years and finally decided on this place after asking friends and digging through reviews. All initial contact and collaborations went great. First round before color all looked perfect and thats when it all went downhill. Went in for color and everything I asked for wasnt taken into account. Its as if the artist gave me the tattoo they wanted and NOT what I wanted, at all. By the time I looked down to see how it was progressing it was too late. This was a mirrored tattoo on both my forearms. Now Im left with a blob one arm. Just be sure to have your artist lay out exactly what they plan on doing to you before they do any damage that cant be taken back. Regretfully an expensive lesson.

Thank you so much to both the piercers being patient with my young daughters ears. She has wanted them done for years and was excited until she got in the chair. They were both so kind and understanding about her working through her nerves. Highly recommend!

My whole experience with Black Cobra was amazing. First, I had to reschedule twice due to the weather situation in NW Arkansas and they were so accommodating and friendly about the whole thing. Then I sent a screenshot of a simple design and Breezy turned it into something so beautiful. Her artistry and application are phenomenal and for a rib tattoo, it wasnt too painful! Lastly, I love how friendly and encouraging the other artists are with each other. It felt like a family and I will always recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo artist! Went here for the first time thinking I would get a good tattoo but instead, I got a great one! :) Did a walk-in with Breezy and she was great, got it perfect on the first draw up. The place has a great environment, super clean and almost homey lol and the staff were all super nice and inviting. Got to see some of the other artists doing some sick pieces as well. I will definitely be back again.

I cant said enough GREAT things about Black Cobra Tattoo!!! The best experience that you could ever ask for. The staff were great. I cant say enough about how happy I am with my tattoo and my artist (Matt). I will never want to get a tattoo from anyone else in my life. Matt done a frinking amazing job, more than I expected. My daughter got the bee by Matt and we love it so much. She is so glad that she went with the bee. The wolf was done by Mair on a guy that was there. I just wanted to show her work too.

Josh Henderson did an amazing job and came up with a tattoo beyond what I couldve ever imagined. The shop is super clean and the staff is really friendly. I know sometimes going to a tattoo parlor can be intimidating, but this place is not that at all. It felt like everyone in there cared for their clients. 11/10... Will only go here from now on.

Matt has done a lot of my tattoos and I have gotten several piercings from Kyle. Black cobra is very clean- super sterile work environment! You can tell from the outside of the building that they put a lot of effort into everything they do. All of the artists are super talented and the environment of the studio is super chill. I definitely feel comfortable here. I recommend Black Cobra to everyone that asks me where I get my tattoos from. I’ve been tattooed in 4 other local shops and this one is my favorite.

I have been going to Black Cobra for several years now, working exclusively with Matt, who is beyond brilliant, to create a full sleeve. His ability to translate a simple concept into a work of art is extraordinary.This shop is the epitome of professionalism, clearly communicating your unique process from start to finish and providing a quality of work you wont find in most places. I was greeted immediately, with a smile, when I walked in the door! Its super clean, waiting area very comfy and my artist Maia did a fantastic job on my tat.

Crystal is absolutely amazing! She is one of the sweetest people ever and did everything she could to give me a great experience. I was a walk in but she took a ton of time out of her day to design my tattoo exactly how I wanted. She placed five stencils trying to make the location I wanted work. When it still didn’t, she was upfront with me about wanting to consider a better location and even helped me pick one that turned out to look way cooler. Crystal really cares about her work and making sure you leave the shop happy. Everyone that I met at the shop were so nice and it was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. I’m already planning my next tattoo and I know exactly where I will be going.

Kyle and Kade pierced my ears and gave excellent aftercare instructions. They answered any question I had and assured me I could call or drop by with any concerns while healing. Misty was great to speak with while scheduling the appointment which was quick and easy to book. Ill definitely come here for future piercings, and tattoos. Super clean, professional and friendly!

Josh Henderson is simply the best! He has done virtually every tattoo on my body, and I always go back for more. Give him an idea, and let him do his thing. He will make a beautiful design for you, then do a brilliant job tattooing it on you. I cant recommend Josh and Black Cobra enough. The studio is bright, smells awesome, and is spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. This is the only place to go in Arkansas to get tattooed. I regularly drive two hours to see him, and I always will. Go! Now!

Today was my first time getting tattooed at Black Cobra. I booked in with Josh to get two moon phases with a pair of coordinating dates on my arm. He was very friendly and was able gave me exactly what I wanted. His work not only met but exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to go back and book another appointment with him and Black Cobra soon! Thank you so much!

This place will take advantage of you. I paid 450$ for a tattoo that is worth maybe 250$. Its so embarrassing when someone asks me how much i paid for it. Made an appointment two months ahead with blake. Showed what i wanted in advance. When i got there he had not even had anything drawn out. The first thing he showed me was nothing like anything i asked for. It looks very similar to a tattoo that i already on my arm. The second time he tried to draw a tattoo for me it took him almost two hours. I took a lot of what he wanted to draw on me off bc i honestly didnt like the second drawing but i had already sat there for 3 hours almost and didnt wanna sit there for another 2 hours while he draws up another one. He still charged me the full price but with only half of the work. Plus this tattoo looks like a saint symbols for the saints. And a crying face with a kitty cat right in the middle of it. So unhappy and will never use this place again.

Very professional friendly staff. Easy to talk to about scheduling and design ideas. Matt, my artist, was easy to contact before the appointment and the coolest down to earth guy during the tattoo session. Great experience! Katie did a pair of neo traditional animals on my feet, and she killed it! She was very quick and efficient on top of being an amazing artist, which I super appreciated since its such a painful area.

I’ve had 4 tattoo appointments with Matt and every visit has been beyond stellar. The shop is incredibly clean...they have so many safety/cleanliness factors in place. They’re also great at communication leading up to the appointment. The whole crew at Black Cobra is super talented, friendly, and so enjoyable to chat with during the appointment. I drive 5.5 hours just to come to this shop, so I’m super thankful for Carah taking the extra time to find appointments that work with my schedule. Matt’s work is out of this world, I get compliments everywhere I go. The store is clean and well-decorated, and every one of the staff I’ve interacted with (including social media) was super friendly and helpful. I really like the vibes here. I also appreciate that masks are still mandatory and that they guided me to keep my mask on while being pierced without it interfering with the process, to help maintain everyone’s safety even if we were all fully vaccinated. All staff are masked also! I got my septum done by Kyle.Kyle was professional, friendly, and super reassuring. He informed me of what he was doing at every step which I super appreciate and helped my nerves. A lot of care was taken in ensuring I was happy with my piercing and it was placed correctly! Got a bad septum piercing 3 months ago and showed him why I didn’t like it and he ensured me he’d check to make sure he can pierce it where I wanted and if he couldn’t he’d let me know. The internally threaded jewelry was also a plus. He also gave me info on how to clean and care for my new piercing.Definitely considering getting my first tattoo done at Black Cobra!

Their staff is amazing! Went to Black Cobra from Nashville during some bad snow storms and they were very generous and caring. They went out of their way to check on us while we were on the way! Once we made it to the establishment everyone was very friendly. Not only is this shop filled with some amazing artists, but they are also just some genuinely awesome people. Katy McGowan did my and my fiancees tattoo and we couldnt be happier with them. They are truly remarkable pieces of art. This shop is a great place to get tattooed at. I have never had an experience here that was anything but amazing. I’ve been getting pierced and tattooed here for almost 4 years now and y’all are the friendliest shop in Arkansas. Kyle and Kade are both great piercers on top of being super cool people. There’s not an artist in this shop I would hesitate to get tattooed by, and I usually go to Maia (who is amazing). Ive had two tattoos done in their studio now. My very first tattoo was done with Paul and my second, and most recent, done with Jesse. Both are very kind and patient, easy to talk to, and funny. Ive gotten to talk with Katie a couple times now, and have gotten to see a bit of how Matt works. The entire crew is filled with good people! I love the atmosphere and the camaraderie in the shop! My friends and I already have Paul booked for our next tattoos~

Ive done several sessions with Matt OBaugh(owner/artist) and its not only the best work Ive ever gotten its also the cleanest and nicest shop Ive ever been too. I had never had a piercing before so I was nervous upon arrival, however the staff were so friendly and set me right at ease. It’s very aesthetic and incredibly clean inside. The couch is one of the comfiest I’ve ever sat on. They are also taking every precaution to make sure everything is sanitised. Tyler did my daith piercing and it was quick and painless.I am so glad that I chose Black Cobra!

Katie tattooed me about a month ago and it was such a great experience.The shop is immaculate and everyone in the shop was super kind and invitingMy tattoo is of my dog with lots of bright, colorful flowers. It is even more perfect than I imagined in my head. Katie was so focused on every detail and it shows! I dont have a great picture of the tattoo yet, but I couldnt wait any longer to give a review! A grand, professional tattoo & piercing studio!! I dont get tattoos, but if I did, I would most certainly come here- with all the talented artists they have! I get piercings, & Kyle is the only guy I trust! He is very educated in the piercing world, & extremely precise. Ive been going to him for almost 10 years, the jewelry & piercing needles he uses are best of the best!! Very highly recommended, especially if you care about how your modification is gonna look- after they are done!

Black Cobra is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been too. They have award winning artists and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work you are receiving and their attention to detail is unmatched. I worked with Teryn today, he took the time to discuss artwork, any concerns that I had, and helped me design my tattoo. He was very courteous, professional, and drew my (now favorite) tattoo which turned out better than I could have imagined. Overall, they are spectacular. If there was a higher rating I would have given them that one.

Took my 16yr old to get her nose pierced. The place was very nice and professional. Kyle answered all the questions we had and was nice to help me out since I had little kids in the car. As soon as I walked in I knew I liked this place. The 2 people at the front counter were super nice and the place was very clean. I made an appointment about a month prior to get a tattoo from Maia who is so sweet and the tattoo turned out AMAZING.

Ive been to several different tattoo studios across the country and Black Cobra is by far one of the best one ever been to. Everyone is super friendly and super talented. I had a full sleeve done here and just started a second. Cant ask for a better place to get a tattoo than Black Cobra.

It was my first time there. I was greeted by someone very friendly. When I ask about the price of a small simple tattoo he said let me get one of our tattoo artist. To be honest i was expecting someone rude or someone who would not be too interested in doing a small simple tattoo! But i was completely wrong because the young woman was extremely friendly and she was willing to do the tattoo that I asked about. She gave a few suggestions about the tattoo I wanted. I went with her suggestions and I am very pleased with the work she did! Very awesome!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Everyone at Black Cobra was incredibly friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Matt. He took my idea and knocked it out of the park. It was pretty amazing to see him free-hand draw my eagle image onto my leg then go to work on it. A true artist! Ill start by saying this was my first tattoo and I was insanely nervous. I chose Shawn to do this tattoo because his work is phenomenal and I knew he would do a fantastic job! The day of the appointment I showed up to the shop and everyone was very welcoming, the shop has a nice atmosphere. Shawn used my reference pictures to create a design even better than I imagined. He was incredibly patient with all of my nerves and listened when I had suggestions to the design. He explained what he was going to do in detail and answered all of my questions. Overall my experience was awesome and I would definitely recommend getting tattooed by Shawn!

Just got a navel piercing done there. Kyle is a first-rate piercer, who had me relaxed (I was terrified) in seconds. I never felt a thing amd he did an awesome job! Id never go anywhere else now, and I will recommend them to anyone!

Kyle pierced my helix and it is healing perfectly. I have butchered piercings from other shops but Kyle has been amazing. I will only come here now for all my piercings.

I went in to this place to get set up with a sleeve tattoo. Met the artist that said he would do it, was told there was an 8 week lead time. No problems there. Just call me when you can get me in I told them. Put their number in my phone so I would be sure to receive the call. Haven’t heard a thing back from these guys. It’s like they didn’t want to mess with it. I was willing to spend 6-8k on this piece. I have since moved on. Very disappointed.

Called ahead to schedule a piercing appt for me and 2 friends and was told there was no need to make one just show up before a certain time. The place was extremely clean. They made us use hand sanitizer 3 separate times, which was a little overkill but fine. There was only 1 other person in there and she was getting a tattoo.The problem I had was the fact that they acted like it was an issue to do 3 piercings when they had told us it wouldn’t be. They said they’d only do 2. There was plenty of time to do a piercing that literally took maybe 10 mins at the most. So unfortunately I wasn’t able to get mine done and before the owner gets on here and gets bent out of shape, no I didn’t sign in bc THEY WOULDN’T DO MINE. So I went elsewhere and got it done for almost half the price and that place did a great job. I don’t think this is a bad place to go, but the customer service just wasn’t very accommodating..maybe it was just that day but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be back.

Top tier, punctual, and quality shop in Arkansas. The absolute best for tattoos and piercings. The staff is extremely friendly and very clean. Would recommend to absolutely anyone and everyone.

I got my septum pierced here by Kade and it was probably the most painless (literally and figuratively) piercing I’ve had done so far. Everyone else was super friendly and helpful too! Also COVID safe protocols, which are always greatly appreciated!

My girlfriend and I stopped by the shop a few weeks ago and got piercings from Kyle.we were greeted at the counter by a smiling gal who was super sweet and helped us the minute we walked in.The overall feel of the shop was comforting, and we didn’t have to wait forever for our appointments!Definitely going there more often.

Awesome people that do amazing work. If you want high quality tattoo work, look no further than this shop. You might pay a little more, but good work aint cheap and cheap work aint good. Many of the artists book or weeks in advance, so be prepared to be patient. Itll be with the wait... I promise!

I have been tattooed by Katie, and pierced by Kyle. Both of those experiences have been the best in both categories. I love the vibe in this shop, and all of the artists are so talented! I am very much looking forward to having more art from all of the artists there.

Black Cobra is amazing! All of the artists are so professional and talented you cant go wrong. I live in Memphis and make the trip to Little Rock and Black Cobra whenever I want to get something done and couldnt be happier.

What’s there to say. They have the best tattooist in the state and I couldn’t be any happier with my tattoo. My tattoo was a cover up tattoo and there is no sign of my old bad tattoo. The staff was great. There was a time or two that Blake had to stop because they had me laughing. In my opinion, I won’t ever go to any other tattoo shop besides black cobra tattoo.

Very clean and professional! My artist was Shawn Garrison... Shawn is great! He did a cover up on my back and you cant even tell its a cover up! All the artists have great customer service, and they work so well with one another! I will definitely be back!

Yasssss. So Ive been wanting a piercing for a while now. Was hanging with some friends lost a bet. Them you gotta get your medusa done and nose. Me eye roll I wanted my nose done anyways. Lol. Decided to go here because my friends go to this one for tattoos and stuff. And I loved it. Its so clean and their going by the covid precautions of course thank god! I had kade he was a sweetie and talked me thru it. Im a First time piercer so yea. But it didnt hurt it was like a pinch. It felt like some one was putting a iv in my nose. Not bad at all. My friends are A holes for exaggerating 😑lol. To bad their not doing medusas at this time. I wanna cry but hopefully that will change by next year. Oh I hope. But in 3 months I will be back to get it checked and a new jewelry peice.

This was the all time best on piercing. I didnt feel a thing, they explained clearly and were so freaking nice. I thought it would hurt but I felt not a thing nd thats a good piercing. I will be going back for my daughter nose piercing sooner than later

Took my son-in-law there to get his first tat. Staff was friendly, the establishment was clean and well lit. Wall decorations were wild and cool. Compared to several tat shops Ive been in, this one is definitely upper crust.

Matt has tattooed me 2x and I could not be happier with my tats. Matt is the best artist in the state and he is currently covering up some tats I got somewhere else. I will never go to anyone but matt but everyone at black cobra does great work and makes you feel comfortable. I won’t go anywhere else.

Ive been tattooed by Blake and he did so good on it. And it was last minute, since I wasnt sure if it was gonna conflict with a meeting. He did awesome and he took the time to draw up wxacy what I wanted. He drew for two hours , coming out periodically to ask me if I liked it so far. I dont put time constraints on quality and no one should . He did very good. Ill definitely be back as soon as i can get some money saved up.again.

My artist was Blake. This was the first time he has done any work for me. And he seemed to know exactly what it wanted. I couldn’t be happier with the art work and the whole shop itself is very professional and welcoming. Excellent customer service.

I could not have asked for a better experience for my first tattoo. The artist worked with me, was very patient and helpful Im the design. It turned out beautiful and was well worth the cost which I also felt was reasonable for the quality.

I get piercings every year for my birthday and this year I turned 21!!! I decided to get 3 piercings 2 nose and one vch, when i tell you i was so scared. My fear got the best of me, and the piercings barely hurt! He made me feel comfortable, made sure he was specifically precise, took his time and i didn’t bleegd! Unprofessional when it comes to scheduling. I had my wifes appointment scheduled two weeks prior to being tattooed. The Saturday before tattoo (Which was a present for my wife) I received a text message to call about my appointment. I spoke with Carah, who said Taylor wasnt available to do the tattoo. My wife had to request the time off. I was concerned because Taylor still hadnt called us to see the artwork. Unprofessional and unacceptable!!!

I got a tattoo from Matt last last and it is absolutely amazing. I cant stop lookng at it! This is my 2nd time here and i will def. be back. The whole tattoo parlour is a lot of fun. everyone is really nice and will joke with you and their work is beautiful. Everyone is very friendly and the work is spectacular. i suggest calling and booking appointments instead of just walking in because the artists get filled up fast, especially on fridays and saturdays unless its a small and quick piece. everything is clean and high quality!
