Queens of Needles Tattoo Shop

Went in there to get a tattoo with my friend. When we were in there we were chatting and talking about my ex and when I said “my toxic ex” my tattoo artist started defending them “well maybe they’re not toxic and that’s just how *you* see them” and they don’t even know my ex or know the terrible things they put me through. Everyone else in the office is super chill tho and they have a really cool snake in there.

My daughter got her ears pierced as a surprise on her 14th birthday with her 3 besties recording every moment. The piercer was so patient with a group of teenagers! One of her friends used the bathroom and immediately took them all on a tour. They were unbelievably impressed that a public bathroom could have everything for a girl just out. They loved the art and comfort.

This is the second time we have come to this studio, I have many designs with Adreana, I have been tattooing with her for more than a year and if in doubt I will continue choosing her. the place is very cozy, feminine and fantastic, I recommend it 10/10

This place is actually incredible. Ive only been to a tattoo shop one other time and I decided to get my second tattoo ever here at QON. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made very comfortable by all of the lovely ladies that work there. Patricia gave me an exceptionally brilliant tattoo, that was originally designed by someone else, but she took it to another level and added her own artistic flair. I also managed to be able to get a piercing in the middle of the session with no hassle. Its a shame this doesnt have a higher rating on Google. Check their Yelp reviews too, clearly one of the best around.

Everyone that was there was so kind and they’re all so talented at what they do. Everything was extremely clean and sterile, probably one of the most professional tattoo shops I’ve ever been in. Cait (@voodoochildtattoo) did an amazing job and was so kind throughout the entire process. I was so comfortable the entire time and plan on returning for more work very soon.

This is an wonderful tattoo shop Dez was my artest her line work is flawless &her use of color is beautiful & imaginative this is my second one & I have an appointment for another one

I got a double gem belly button piercing and Frankie was my piercer. She was super nice and did a fantastic job. I love it!

If you see reviews related to drinking or not switching needles at this shop, those are completely false. Even the images show it is a totally different tattoo shop. Ive had piercings and tattoos done here, as well as my wife, and we both loved it. Kind staff, good work, and a clean and safe environment. Dont listen to the reviews lying about the shop based on some tik-tok video not even about Queen of Needles. Reviews like that damage a business for literally no reason other than people not doing their due diligence and double-checking if the shop is the same.

This is my fourth time coming here. The energy and environment is always great. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I get my tattoos done by Char (Puny) and she is amazing. I’m always more than satisfied with her work. She takes the time to get to know you and make conversation with you. If it’s your first tattoo she helps calm you down and guides you through the process and always asks in between if you’re doing okay or need a break.

Such a great shop with great artists! I had such a wonderful experience and got a beautiful piece from Charlyn! I will definitely be coming back for more.

I’ve gone here multiple times for my tattoos and it’s never been anything but clean, sanitary, safe and accessible. I’ve never had any interaction with an artist that wasn’t perfectly professional. It’s a shame they got mixed up with another tattoo shop and for their reviews spammed, but please don’t let that effect your opinion of this shop! It’s wonderful and the staff there are incredible. Gabbi is my usual artist and she’s always been perfect! I highly recommend this shop.

Very friendly staff, clean studio, proper health and safety forms. Visited with a friend to have our jewelry changed and felt very comfortable through the whole process. Definitely going to consider this studio as a more conveniently-located replacement to the one I used to go to.

Absolutely 10/10 each time! Charlyn has been my girl since day one and I leave 100% satisfied each time! The shop is so welcoming and cute, I love being in their environment! If you want to get tatted and feel welcome by some down to earth girls, this is your spot!

First I got ALL my tattoos from Queens and I would definitely do it all over again because I trust them so much and they are the best in the game. They keep everything so professional while still trying to get to know you on a friendly level so you’re not uncomfortable. They keep everything clean, up to standards and very chic and modern so it’s a very cute shop. Everyone that works there is always so nice and there’s a comfortable feeling just being there.

A friend of mine recommended me Queens of needles tattoo shop. It was my first nose piercing, didnt know what to expect and what experience I was going to have. I told the lady it was my first nose piercing and that I was very nervous. She made sure everything was going to be fine and that it wasnt painful. She calmed me down and took her time until I was relaxed. At the end she did it and she was right. It was quick and painless. It came out beautifully and I loved it.My 2nd and 3rd time returning was for my 1st ever tattoo that I wanted and it was an awesome experience. Charlyn was the tattoo artist that did my tattoos. She is an incredible artist (the owner of the shop). She made sure I was comfortable and went through all the procedures before starting. She took her time and made sure the tattoos that I wanted was perfect and beautiful.If you need any tattoos or piercing I recommend Qeens of needles! I notice it was all women working there and they made every customers feel like home!

The women at this parlor were all incredibly welcoming and nice and made you feel comfortable. They have a relaxing atmosphere overall and I felt at ease! My tattoo artist Melogia was even more professional and very detail oriented . An incredible artist who was able to bring to life the idea I had in my head. Not only did she make the process feel welcoming, she also made sure that the tattoo would look nice on my dark skin. Other tattoo artists didnt pay attention to that when making my designs. Easily my favorite tattoo artist!

Been going to get my tattoos done by the artist vanessa for the past 3 years and have had zero complaints. shes a great person and does amazing work. the atmosphere of her new studio Queens of needles is so chill, all the other artists have amazing work and are welcoming. its not like an awkward silence while getting your tattoos done, everyone involves each other in conversation and theres music. plus the studio itself is so clean and pleasing. excited to go back and get more work done

The best artists you’ll ever come across! I have several pieces from other shops but none beat this one. Talented and magical artists here. Its a tattoo shop filled of powerful female artists who make you feel the most comfortable and most safe. I tell all my friends to go here and all have left satisfied keeping Queens of Needles their set place to go.

This is my second time coming in and both times I’ve been tattooed by Patricia. She’s an amazing artist and makes you as comfortable as possible when you get a tattoo. Both experiences have been amazing and if I get the chance I will be returning.

Everyone there is so ridiculously talented that I struggled to decide who I wanted to do my tattoo, but I chose Gabi and am beyond happy with her work! She is great at communicating to set up the appointment, takes incredible care during the design process to make sure you’re completely in love with the tattoo, and the result is absolutely flawless. Queens of Needles was the best tattoo experience I’ve had by a landslide.

My husband and I came to get pierced by Bree. Shes so sweet and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Bree did a smooth and quick job - very careful with the placement and is clearly a knowledgeable and experienced piercer. She is trustworthy and makes sure her clients get exactly what they want and more. I recommend this shop for both piercings and tattoos ! If you’re thinking about it, go for it. This is a great shop full of talented women.

I had went for their Halloween special. Everyone there was really nice & professional. Unfortunately though I purchased the piercers own after care kit that she was selling to support & as I got home I noticed a small brown object in the bottle. The small brown object was in fact a bug. Which kind of sucks because I had purchased that from her & couldnt even use it.

ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE TO GET A TATTOO. Don’t listen to those “followers”! I worked with Gia for a spine tattoo and she was the greatest. I was in view of all the artists and everyone was super hygienic between customers and there was no food or drinks in sight, so I would HIGHLY recommend this place :)

These people are people, trying to make in an industry most know nothing about or do nothing to edification themselves on. Through researching all these artists I’ve found that the more experienced ones do pronominal work and the newer artist have areas of improvement they could work on but that comes with being new to the trade. My experience was welcoming and the tattoo was done well with clean practices and despite all cartridges looking the same they did in fact change their needles.

Got my eyebrow pierced here. Love the lady very nice and made me comfortable and the price is reasonable. Definitely recommend coming to this place. Will come back soon and looking forward to being back!

For the people spreading false information… they haven’t even been to the shop. When I went, I got my first tattoo there and left satisfied. My artist was very friendly and I felt comfortable. Stop spreading false lies especially if you haven’t been to the shop

I have been pierced four times by the lovely piercer Bree, both eyebrows and nostrils. The service is amazing at queens of needles! You’re received immediately at the front desk to fill out your paperwork, and when Bree comes by to bring you to their station, they bring the best possible energy to keep you comfortable and informed throughout your appointment; they’re Incredibly Good at piercings! Her apprentice was observing the past couple times, and she’s also great, i cant wait to get pierced by her someday, and more from Bree!

This establishment is very professional. The vibe is cool, the women are great. Just got some work done on Saturday and we will definitely be returning. The ppl spreading the misinformation have most likely never even been there and are solely going off 1 persons perspective, it was a Social hour/Grand opening.

I’ve had Dez do two pieces for me, as well as a touch up on an existing piece I had. She totally nails it every time. Her attention to detail is spot on and everything healed beautifully. Also, she’s just an overall rad human being. :)

Very comfortable environment. Everyone is super nice! Things are clean and neat Everytime I go in there. Been to the shop 6 times now for piercings and tattoos. Artists are responsive, patient, and very careful!

Quite honestly leaving this review after gathering all the different details of what occurred. A botched tattoo occurred due to lack of training especially over self harm scars, and drinking? Artist cannot tattoo someone who has been drinking as that is a lawsuit on them, but for the artist to have been under the influence? All anyone is asking is for the owner to be responsible and remove said artist in question. Because of the backlash and how the owner has handled this, the business overall will still deal with these reviews. Do better and avoid this place until there is a resolution.

Frankie was the one that did my helix piercing, Love that she explained everything she was doing and showed me that everything was new and tossed out after use. very professional and super nice, everyone working in the studio was really nice. ☺️

I’ve gotten the majority of my tattoos from this place. My daughters and I go to Lery. Always so professional and the facials always clean. All the needles are opened in front of you so you are sure that everything they are using in new and sterile. My Godson came all the way from San Francisco just to get a tattoo from Queen of Needles… Lery… Thank you Lery and to all the Ladies at your Shop. You all ROCK!!!

No customer should deal with a tattoo artist that’s under the influence of alcohol. No customer should be having a botched tattoo that’s covering self harm scars. No customer should deal with a parlor that doesn’t change the needles, endangering customers with hepatitis and aids. Cant forget to mention that if you call and make a complaint on an artist, you’ll get threats instead of a professional response. Had hope for the first femme tattoo shop, but it’s seems like it’s best to go to another shop instead of endangering your health for a Little bit of ink. Really hoping OSHA closes this place down

Took her time to get it right & she hit it spot on. Shop is clean, people are cool AF & it just felt right from the moment I walked in. Love Queens of Needles!! Brought my little sister here for her first piercing and I could not be happier! Friendly, clean & profesional staff. Also, not to mention SFV’s first all women-owned shop! We need more of this- I’m so glad Queens of Needles is paving the way.

It’s the not taking responsibility for mistakes, and not apologizing to clients who say they are unhappy with the outcome. If a client is unhappy, even if it’s been days, even if you think it looks good, you should apologize. It’s on their body, not yours. By not taking accountability your saying you’d rather have people who mess up tattoos working for you. “I’m sorry” is a lot easier to say then “come here and fight me”The people in the videos just wanted an apology, none of this would happen if you knew how to say “I’m sorry this happened”.you refused to give one and take accountability. Very unprofessional and literally how children would react. So I hope karma comes around to get you.

I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes late, but my artist Reanna, accommodated me. Once I arrived, Reanna and introduced each other and she quickly went to work. She grabbed a tablet, asked for a pic of my tat via airdrop, opened up the tablets tracing software and began tracing my image. (Note: shes an apprentice at the time of this writing) She took a little over an hour to trace my image.After she traced the image, she printed out one size, tried it on my arm but thought it would look better slightly bigger. She adjusted the size on her tablet, printed out a larger size, placed it on my arm...and BOOM, perfection!She transferred the image onto my arm but didnt like the placement, so she removed the stencil and re-positioned it. She started inking my right arm around 2:30 PM. We took a break around 6:30 PM and finished around 10:10 PM. Along the way, we chatted about life, work, school and other odd-end topics. She wasnt pushy but chill and awesome to work with. She is meticulous and a perfectionist. She didn’t cut corners or feel pressured to go fast. She was clean and took her time. I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED. The price she charged was excellent and I will be going back to her for more work in the future.THE SHOP AS A WHOLE: this is an all female tattoo parlor, but the talent is top notch. The vibe is laid back and welcoming. There was one female performing piercings, another tattoo apprentice and three other female tattoo artists (one being the owner).*Highly recommend

I came in to get a custom gir tattoo. It is the best line work I have on my body and I have a Gundam deathscyhthe head tattoo. My tattoo artist Dez is very knowledgeable when it comes to all things color, sanitation practices and care of tattoos, and Rick & Morty. Although the shop is an open bay, I still had a pleasantly private tattoo session. The art work that is also on sale is unique. Queens of needles has one of the best therapy chairs ever. Its also right across the street from a comic book store which is great if youre into that.

Char is amazing!!!!! Everyone that works there is amazing!!! The best vibes and so much fun just being in the shop. Love it here and definitely going back!! And referring!!

To the person who reviewed this shop saying what is being said is misinformation, because it was “social hour,” does not excuse how unhygienic and unsafe this shop is. Having food behind the counter, drinking ON THE JOB is an absolute no no. Not to mention, not changing the needles??? Absolutely NOT okay. It’s not a bar, it’s a TATTOO SHOP.

They legit drink while tattooing customers tattoos. They messed up one of my friends tattoos don’t waste your time or your money here. The lady likes to play victim after getting called out and there was people dancing around drinking bumping into people getting tattooed

Don’t use gloves or switch out needles. SEVERAL videos have come out do them drinking alcohol before tattooing clients yet they still claim it’s “slander” refuse to take responsibility and will THREATEN you for exposing an incompetent employees. please avoid at all cost

I can only talk about the queen of needles in reseda I’ve had the best experience , the ladies that work at the reseda location are wonderful tattoos artist and super welcoming and friendly my tattoo’s healed beautiful

They allowed an artist to tattoo while there was a party happening in the shop with many people drinking including the artists.

Artists drink on the shift and have poor sanitation practices and when another costumer called with concerns about these issues she got threatened to “pull up and fight”

This place allowed workers to drink during an event resulting in botched tattoos and take 0 accountability
